How To: Purple Crimped Bob Wig | Celie Hair

Hey guys welcome back to my channel, so today's hair is from sealy hair, and this is what came in the box. I got a little bag and this is the unit that i received, and it is a blonde bob just showing you guys what it looks like. So if you don't have blonde hair, that means i'm doing a dyeing tutorial. So i'm using the adora hair dye in rich eggplant. It is a purple color. I'Ve been wanting to do purple for a good minute now, so i'm finally doing it. So i am doing the watercolor method just because it is the easiest way to dye hair and it does not stain the lace at all in this lace. It is pretty light like it's a very light lace and it did not get stained at all and, as you can see, the color took the hair very well like in minutes or really seconds like. It did not take long for the color to adhere to the hair, and i know some people like to use boiling hot water, but i just use warm water from the sink, and this is the color. After the hair has air dried? It'S coming off a little bit more bluish, but it's more of a lighter purple than is coming off on camera. So i use this glossing spray and i just spray this all throughout the hair, just to add a little bit of shine and i'm going to be using this hair spray. And it is a 24 hour holding spray. And i just want to spray not a lot. But just a little bit to help hold the crimps that i'm about to apply onto this hair, but i like the hairspray. I feel like it's very light and i like the way it smells. Is that weird and this crimp iron? I like it, because it does such a good job, even though it is like a travel size. You know it's smaller, but i like the way that it's made it's kind of made like a flat iron and not like with the clamp you can really press down into the hair and get the hair to crimp. And, as you can see, the hair is performing really well um. I didn't have any trouble crimping this hair. It was like, i said it was super easy and the crimps they held up really nicely. So the next couple of clips they'll just be of me. Basically, just styling this unit just going all the way around, so that's all that i am basically doing and it's much easier to do it on the mannequin head versus doing it on my head. I can see what i'm really doing and get every section of hair. So i try to change like the lighting and my camera settings just a little bit, so you guys can see the true color of this unit. Like i said it's not a deep purple, it's more of a lighter medium purple. I don't know how to describe it, but it's not a deep dark purple. I am really impressed at how well this hair is like curling or cripping, whatever you want to call it like. This was super easy to do. I also love the fact that this hair is a ball because it's just been super hot and anything longer than like. 14 inches, it's just too hot. So i don't know if you guys noticed, but when i got to the ends, i kind of curled them a little bit just flipping it and that's about it, and this is the final product i put crimps all throughout this hair, it being a bob. It did make it the process a little bit shorter, and this is what the unit looks like on. I just used some freeze spray just to secure the front down. I didn't use any glue, so this was a 6 13 bob. It was 12 inches and it took to the color really well, as you guys can see, and it also took to the crimps really well with no problems.
