Okay, y'all: let's go ahead and dig right into this revamp, so i've had this wig since last year and i actually wore it on vacation. I believe it's from b show hair and it was a 6 13 and it was 26 inches. I might insert a clip of what it used to look like before it got cut and thrown into a bag. So first before you start, you know even trying to customize re-customize the wig you're gon na need to wash it. So i'm going to be using big sexy hair, some hot water, and i got my denman brush - i'm going to go ahead, shampoo, this hair and kind of talk you guys through how i like to shampoo my wigs so starting off, i like to get the whole Wig damped completely saturated into the water, and i never bulk up the wig to where it gets tangled up. So, in other words, i like to shampoo my units as if i'm shampooing a client's head or as if i'm shampooing my own hair, don't make stuff harder. Just make it a lot easier for yourself, so that's pretty much. What you're about to see me do here once i've shampooed conditioned deep, conditioned and detangle the units. I just went ahead and i place it under my overhead dryer. I'M now going to go ahead and place some design essentials foam on the hairline of the wig. Now this is just a personal preference. I just prefer to do it when it's in the drying process just to go ahead and push back all of those loose hairs that you normally have when you are trying to revamp a wig after taking it off. So i'm going to do is put the foam on there and go ahead and brush it all the way back and place the unit right back under the dryer, because i am well aware of what i want to do with this unit. I am going to go ahead and spray in a nice leave-in condition, as well as a design line, heat protectant for the unit before placing it completely under the dryer once that is set on there. I did go ahead and leave the unit under the overhead dryer for about 20 to 30 minutes. I really didn't time it, but that is a good minimum and then we're going to go ahead, take it out and i'm going to start the cutting process once the unit is dry. I go ahead and take it from under the overhead dryer. I don't mind that it's all crinkled up and curly because i'm going to go ahead and style the unit anyways in a straight um style, i'm going to go ahead and comb all the way through it just to make sure that everything is dry. And then i'm going to take that towel off of the wig head after combing it through and then i'm going to go ahead and i'm going to pin the unit down so that i can start cutting now, let's just be mindful here, i am a cosmetology student, But i left my shears at school and i don't have any shears at home. So literally, i did not cut the unit down to the t, but i did you know what needed to be done as far as look making it look good enough to wear. So, let's just be mindful of that, but i promise i will redo a thorough blunt cut when i do have the proper material. But you will see me end up using just some regular craft scissors, so you got ta, do what you got. Ta do sometimes but hey the style turned out cute. I actually end up wearing the unit to school and maybe i'll do an install once i actually get it cut properly. Before i begin my process with cutting, i am going to go in at the top with my hot comb. I do have it set to 500 degrees for me personally, the harder, the better um, because it's going to lay down those baby hairs as well as it's going to create that very, very flat. Look because i went in with my foam in the beginning using the um, the heat on there as well, it kind of adds a nice soft hold and pushing back those hairs. So if you don't have to use a lot of products, don't that's why i advise people just to go ahead and use that foam once the foam is on there. You are pretty much set. You don't have to go in with the wax stick at all. So pretty much from here on out, i pretty much explain the rest of the video i'm going to flat iron. It i'm going to cut it with some crab scissors, and that is going to be it like. I said i actually did install this unit and i'll get that video up as soon as i can. I hope you enjoy the rest of the video bye
