10 In Short Curly Bob Wig With Highlights | First Time | Wig Transformation

If you like it today, I'm gon na be taking you out on a journey with me of me, highlighting here for the first time. Yes, I've never highlighted hair before and I'm going to be doing it on this lace. Front 10 inch bob with these beautiful, deep red curls from my hair bender. So here I'm showing you the items I'm going to be using to achieve these highlights, which is some bleaching powder 30 volume developer. Some purple shampoo, also some four strips that I bought from my local Sally's, some toner and t8t a rat tail comb and also a mixing bowl. So, to start off what I'm doing a section on some hair and it's taking my wide tooth comb to detangle right through it. And then I'm gon na be taking the end of my rat tail comb and just go up and under up and under to grab pieces so that I can create my hot legs and then I'm just going to separate it and grab my piece. So for that I brought from the hair store now this, for it is a little bit different, it's in pieces, so the dull side is on the back and then you have this black side. That'S on the front. The part that's facing up right now, if you're going to be using normal foil from the grocery store, you use the shiny side right side up. The purpose of using fall is to produce more heat so that it can process faster and more effective, and I'm just going to take the bleach, put it on the hair and then use my rat tail comb so make sure I'm getting on each strand and then Wrap it up and continue on to the next part of the hair I saw I didn't want to add. If we haven't noticed, I am NOT going all the way up to the roots with the bleach. I am still leaving the roots black, so I'm just taking the bleach and I'm like lightly feathering as I get to the roots. So that is not a blunt line and I'm leaving about an inch 1/2 an inch to an inch of the root black. So here I'm just showing you a different angle. What I did was, I did all of the back and then I left the frontal the front part of the lace separate. So that's what I'm doing here. I'M separated the front of the ladies, and now I'm going upwards, so this is just another angle of how I am processing my highlights now once again guys. This is my first time doing it. So this entire process - I was so nervous about how was how it was gon na turn out, and it turned out great for my first time. So I'm very proud of myself, but yeah just continue watching and then next, I'm gon na be washing out after letting the bleach process for approximately 3035 minutes and I'm just taking off all the four pieces and, as you can see in the back, it's processed further Longer all versus the front, which is exactly how I wanted it. I wanted it different variations of blonde and then I'm going in with my purple shampoo and making sure I get all the bleach other than hair so that it can start processing and then um before rinsing it out. I'M gon na let the purple shampoo sit on in here for about ten minutes and then rinse tone here and get all the brighteners out of it. I'M going in with my toner with the rotor time, T 18 and I'm using two parts of the 30 volume developer. You you so now. I'M just clipping the hair out the way so that I can start to lay my lace front down and what I'm going to be doing is pulling the frontal up to my hairline, and this time I did decide to lay my lace before cutting the lace off This is my first time doing this. Also, did I like it this way? No, I didn't and she preferred to cut the lace off first and then melt the lace to my skin versus leaving the lace on and then cutting it while it's on my skin, but that's just my preference and then once I put it to my desired liking. I'M gon na take my comb and kind of press the lace into my skin so that it's melting and making sure that I'm getting the least to stick to my skin before I start cutting off the lease so to cut off the lace this time around, I'm Using a razor and not by choice as you couldn't find my scissors so yeah, I am using a razor and just gently and carefully cut Andales off around the hairline, and once I finish doing that just so that it can seems to melt into my skin. I'M just gon na tie it down for about 10 to 15 minutes. Now, I'm just trying to see figure out where I want my part to be the wig came as the middle part, but because this is so short, I didn't want to do a middle part. So I decided to go with a deep side part and I'm just going to take my lot of body foam, wrap and just put it around the part that I just made just to flatten it out and molding. Now I'm just taking my spray bottle with water and just a bit of conditioner and I'm just spraying it throughout my hair. So I can start bringing out those curls. I thought spray down her hair, I'm also going in with my phone wrap and just taking my fingers to detangle it and mold those curls in place. You don't want to use a comb comb kind of manipulates, the curls you just want to use your fingers or a didn't brush, and here I'm just taking out some baby hairs and using my razor to cut some short baby hairs and using my wrap lotion again To molt those baby hairs in place, and once I finish, loading those baby hairs to my liking, I'm just gon na tie up my hair for about 10 to 15 minutes. So now we are finally finished. This is my finish results and guys this turned out. So beautiful, let me tell you this whole time this whole process. I was so nervous how this look was gon na turn out on me. Being that this look, is it's just a short as I ever went? I'Ve never went ten inches before and then it's the ten inches curly so yeah.
