Today'S video is going to be a tutorial on this wig that was sent to me from rpg show i'll have all of their information, the promo codes and direct links down below in the description box. So the wig that i received is a silky 12 inch, burgundy with black roots, 200 density side. Part bob lace, frontal wig. This wig is a beautiful burgundy, 99 j color. If you are someone who wants to experiment with colors this summer, but you're afraid of going super bright, i think that this wig will be perfect for you. I feel like it looks amazing on any complexion, especially our melonated skin, and i love the fact that this burgundy on our skin complexion brings out our undertones. This wig comes with three combs, an adjustable, strap and a removable elastic band. I love the fact that this wig is pre-plucked for us and the knots are already bleached. So here's how the wig looks straight out of the package and placed straight onto your head, it's already styled for us. It'S pretty much ready to go straight out of the package. The first thing that i'm going to do, though, is show you guys an up close of the hairline. My hairline is rounded, and this hairline is more of a square hairline. So because i have more of a rounded and lower hairline that just tells me that i'm going to have to have baby hairs on this wig. Looking at the hairline on the mannequin head, i am blown away by how natural the hairline looks. They did a great job at leaving the hairline thin so that we won't have to do that much customizing to the hairline. I am going to pluck a little bit more hairs from the hairline doing the beige method of zigzag, plucking and parting. This step is always optional. You do not have to do it, but i do want it to be a little bit thinner in the front. So now that i am satisfied with the hairline it's now time to move on to styling the wig, although the wig is pretty much styled for us, i do want the curls in the front to be a little bit more relaxed. So the first thing that i'm going to grab is biosilk's: silk infusion, apply it to the hair and then in sections i'm going to go over each section with my flat iron okay. So now i'm just going to grab a wax stick and my pressing comb. I'M going to use that wax stick to push those hairs out of the way and then i'm using my hot comb or pressing comb to press the hairs backwards. This is going to give me a more polished look and it's also going to help me install the wig a lot easier, so this wig was created using tinted, transparent lace, and because of that i chose not to tint the lace. However, i do wish, after watching this video, that i did take the extra step to tint the lace, because it does kind of blend into my cornrows, because i don't wear a wig cap. Underneath. However, we're going to completely overlook that. And if you do have a tinted, transparent, lace, wig, i do advise you to tint the lace of it or wear a wig cap underneath, okay, so to install this wig i'll, be grabbing 70 alcohol cleaning off my forehead with that alcohol and then i'll be grabbing. Scalp protector by walker tape applying that to my scalp, where i will be placing that adhesive or that gel allowing that to dry, then i'm going to grab the wig place it on my head, making sure that all of the combs are lined up and in their Proper placement, so i do want to show you guys, a visual of where my baby hairs will have to go based off of my natural hairline shape and the hairline shape of the wig alright. So now i'm just going to grab a pair of scissors and slice. The extra lace twice that's going to separate the extra lace into three different sections: i'm going to pin the left and right section out of my face and then push the wig backwards. So we're going to focus on installing this wig in sections. The first section that i'll be focusing on is the middle section using got to be ultra glue, gel i'm going to apply a thin layer to that middle section and then blow dry until it's tacky. I'M going to follow those steps for the left and right portions of the wig. Then i'm going to put my headscarf on and allow it to dry. So 15 minutes later i removed my headscarf and saw that there was so much extra residue from the gossipy gel. I wasn't as neat as i could have been while applying that got to be gel to my hairline and because of that i do have so much extra residue that turned white so to correct that all i would have to do is take a wet cloth or My head scarf wet it with water, of course, and then just press it or tap it on the white areas. Using my scissors, i'm just going to take my time and cut the extra lace off making sure that i am not cutting into the hairline but cutting along the hairline, where the extra lace is. This is the hairline and when you do that method, sometimes the lace does roll up to get that lace to lay down and melt into my skin, i'm going to have to spray it with gossipy ultra glued freeze spray, putting my head scarf on for another 10 Minutes i'm going to remove it and then add some baby hairs grabbing the rat tail end of a comb. I'M just going to pull some of those hairs forwards where my hairline is peeking through and then using a razor blade or a razor comb of some sort. I'M just going to cut the hairs shorter and then use gorilla, snot to swirl them, putting my head scarf on again to set those baby hairs. I am just going to do my makeup while it sets and i'll show you guys. The final look in a second here is the finished. Look. Thank you so much for watching the only two alterations that i would change about this wig after installing and watching the video is, i would add, more baby hairs so that it could look a little bit more round, which i did end up doing at the end Of the video and the second alteration that i would do is tint the lace so that the scalp color is lighter and more of a perfect match for my scalp color or my complexion. Those are the only two changes that i would do. However, those would be things that i would personally have to do to customize the wig. The wig is perfect on its own. It'S such a gorgeous gorgeous gorgeous wig. I love the density. I love how silky the hair is. I love how it flows and moves really. Well, it's full of body. I love love, love.
