Diamond Dynasty Virgin Hair Initial Review | Slayed Secrets

If this is your first time welcome and if you're coming back welcome back so today I wanted to talk about a hair company that there's a lot of hype about. I see celebrities, you know model the hair and I decided to place the order for myself. I didn't pay too much because I got it on sale every once in a while. I guess diamond dynasty here, that's what the hair company is called. They will do a hair sale, so I caught it and I decided to place the order. So first things. First, it came in US postal package, so the first thing is: it comes in a little sack and I'm really digging this. I think this is very cute. You know, Plus this, it comes with your order, so you can definitely use this bag for other things, the hair is triple sealed, which is good I'll. Keep the moisture, that's a bit fresh. So it comes in this large ziplock bag and then the hair is individually bagged in a little case, er, so I'll open that up in a second. But it looks like I got more goodies in this bag comes with a little pen. I, like it, it's purple and I have little gems on it. This is cute and then it also comes with a little brochure. The brochure has a lot of information on how to care for the hair, which I found super helpful with this order. It came right on time. I got it in five days. I will definitely say that's a pro that the hair came in such a short period of time, so I have an 18 inch, a 16 inch and a 14 inch with a 14 inch closer. So, let's talk about the bundles: let's open this baby up! Okay, so it comes in a little net. So that's good to keep the curls tight together. Okay, let's open this baby up! Okay, so I'm running my fingers through the hair - and I don't have any shedding so, which is really nice for curly hair. So this is the 14 I'm gon na check the others as well open the 18 very quickly very thick, I'm really feeling it. I really like also how they brand their hair. They put their little thumb in dynasty right here, so that's very cute. The other hair is very, it's not tangley and there's no shedding none, which is great. So the next thing is: is it true to link? So I'm gon na try my best to pull it out as far this is the 18. That is definitely 18 inches. It was compared with that. Otherwise, when I compare all of the bundles together, you can definitely tell that there is a difference in each of their links. I did measure each bundle off-camera and their links were pretty close to what was advertised. Let'S test the 18 oh yeah, so I give the bundles on this hair order, a check mark for being true to their length. I already mentioned already that they're pretty thick. So if you were to, for example, if we put it all together and if you want to do a ponytail, that's three bundles, that's a lot of hair! That'S a lot of hair, so definitely thick. The next criteria that I have is this: it smell. It actually smells like this brand new. You ever opened like a brand new product. It just has that brand new smell, so it doesn't stink. So that's a plus, so the next criteria is the texture. So it's very soft from this part for the wrapper is and through the hair, it's soft, it's very silky and smooth. So I don't think the only spot is dry. It'S just the end and that's not an issue. The hair is still very nice, so very bouncy, and it has a nice a little shine to it. So the next criteria is how are the webs. So when I look at it, they look fairly. They look like a good size, it's not too thick and it's not too thin. Let me show you, so it's not bad. You know you can definitely work with it. It'S not bulky at a that you're able to see that. So I did say that it is bouncy, look at it move it and it's just definitely bouncy. So that's good! You want here that has volume in it. You don't want it to just be stagnant. You know I'm gon na win both just it's stuck now. Definitely the hair has nice volume. The curl pattern all seems consistent. It'Ll definitely fall nicely together. I love curls, so I'm already biased. So I'm definitely happy with the curl pattern for sure the next thing is, it doesn't have tangles like I said it's easy to put my hands through there's no shedding so there's no tangles they shouldn't be. I haven't done anything with the hair. Maybe if I let's see no, it's it's like butter. Let me tell you like butter right here. I really like this hair. The ends are just a little dry. I don't see any split ends, get the other bundle. I don't see any split ends, so that's good. Other than it being slightly dry, they look healthy. So, like I said you know, I'm gon na cut the ends. You should cut the ends. You know I treat it like Israel here, yeah ain't, nothing that hair product can't take care of if the ends end up being really bad condition, but initially, with this hair, the ends are definitely gon na have to be cut, but overall the hair is healthy. Okay, so now I'm gon na talk about the closure. So let's get this bad boy folks in okay, so just like the bundles, the it comes with its own net for the closure. So looking at the closure, it already has baby hairs. I don't know if you're able to see this see the baby hairs and it looks like also that has already been plucked. So definitely that's a plus. It'S not boxy. That'S how you can tell that the hairline has been manipulated so which is great, because that means less work you have to do. I will definitely say that you will have to bleach the knots because you can see. I don't know if you're able to see that here, maybe flipping it over. You can see where the hair meets with the net. It'S black, so you'll definitely have to bleach the nuts so that it doesn't look like you're wearing a net with hair coming out of it. You know so I will say Pro that there's baby hair already made, so you don't have to cut long piece of hair cuz Amin. You know on the frontal it's already not a lot of hair that they have on there. So that's a bonus that they went ahead and made baby hairs with shorter hairs. You know so that's definitely a plus the only con is is you have to definitely bleach the knots, but most hair frontals that you order. You have to bleach the knots regardless. They may say that it's already see-through and clear, but when you look at the hair, where it meets the net, you still have the little. You know the dark knots so definitely gon na have to bleach it. So the next criteria is the ends or the end. Shabby are they healthy? The ends. Look pretty healthy. You know no complaints over here. This looks true. Tling definitely looks like 14, so is it a 13 by 4? Let'S see if it's 13 gone across so does it go to my other side of my ear and it does so I'll say is definitely true. Dat 13 for the length and the width when you go in the middle it's about 4, but on the sides. Of course is not 4 inches, so I mean just look at it. You can still work with it for sure, okay, so the next thing about the frontal is: is it thick? Is it bold, it's a good grade of hair for the space. So if I were to like part through it right here, the hair is consistent, so it's thick there's hair in every spot where there can be here. So it's fairly thick. So it's nothing! It'S not sparse at all. So that's a plus! The next thing is the direction of the hair where the hair meets the net, so I mean the hair direction honestly, once you wash it you'll, be able to know for sure. If, if the hair is gon na lie flat, that's what what's? Why is it important? You know how the cuticle is connected to the net, because if your frontal doesn't lie flat, then you're gon na have to manipulate it a lot so you'll have to apply heat. You know you know how you get a either a flat iron or a hot comb or curling iron. You got a press hard on that. That is definitely you know a hassle, but you know honestly can't really judge it until we get that far okay. So the final thing I'm gon na talk about is a smell. I mean when I opened it, it had a strong smell, so definitely gon na have to wash it, but the smell is not too bad to where the point where I'm just I don't want the hair definitely gon na wash it definitely after our bleach. The knots for sure get something that smells real nice. You know I love when hair smells great, the frontal is okay, the bundles definitely are better than the frontal, but you know I can still work with it. It'S a little dry where the hairline is not so dry when you flip it back this way, a conditioner solves it all. Overall, I will rate the bundles a nine and I would rate the frontal a seven, but overall with the frontal and the bundles, I feel that I like it. I will definitely have a nice wig.
