I'M trying to get more likes a you cannot be like me. We are not hello, you guys. This is Lana Christine again today. We'Re gon na. Do a closure wig! Ok! So I'm gon na tell you everything that you need to start this week now. The first thing you need is a dome cap. You need something to sew. The hair onto you're, definitely gon na need some needle and thread, and then you're gon na need some scissors to just cut the thread or the weft. If need be, you need some hair of your choice. It does not matter what kind clips to clip up the hair out of your way. You'Re gon na need some t pins to hold down the wig cap onto the mannequin head and Sebastian lean, because I don't need y'all talking about me being a she. So, let's get on to it now. This is going to be part 1 of the wig making process. This is just going to show you how I make the wig part 2 is going to be how I customize the wig, which it will include plucking and styling. Now we are going to place the wig cap onto the mannequin head and you're, just gon na make sure it's stretched down not too far just so that it fits the head of the mannequin. So we are gon na go ahead and sew down the closure. First now I'm just showing you exactly how the closure looks. I think this is a 5 by 5 closure. So it's not the the classic. You know 4 by 4 closure, but that doesn't matter you can use any kind of closure that you want. So I'm gon na bring the closure a little bit further down than the where the wig cap starts, so that you know it won't be too far back on the head when you put on the wig, so once I pinned down the front, I'm definitely gon na. Do the same thing in the back just so before I start sewing that is not uneven or you know you just want to place it exactly where you want to sew it down, so you won't have any mistakes. You are now going to clip the hair up. So that you are able to sew and nothing is getting caught in the 3 now I'm using light brown thread only because when you use black it's kind of hard to see it's just easier for me to see the the brown instead of the black. Now I'm gon na try to explain this the best way I can, because I do have the technique that I use when I'm sewing a closure or frontal down or bundles. It doesn't matter. So I sew overhand, I don't sew under and when I sit when I stick the needle in I go through the thread and I will show you again in slow motion once I get to the middle of the closure. So now I'm gon na show you my technique. Now, when I stick the needle through I'm gon na, make sure it's in between both the threads. So when I pulled through it creates like a fence type, look it just makes it just gives it more of a secure hole to the threading. So now that you are done sewing down the closure, you are gon na want to secure it with a knot. A double knot it at the end, once I'm done and now we're gon na head on to the bundles. So I like to sew right above the elastic band in the back and the reason I don't show through the elastic man it's just because it limits the stretch and it won't be as stretchy. So, that's why I don't do that and then make sure you are securing your tracks by knotting them every time you start a new row, so once you secure the ends, you're gon na go ahead and just sew exactly how I did the closure and then I'm Gon na show you guys how I flip over the tracks. I do not cut my tracks or the West, so I'm gon na show you in a second how I do that. Okay! So now I'm doing my last stitch and then once I'm done, I'm going to create a knot, so we can stay in place exactly where I want it to lay you're gon na lift the thread out of your way and you're gon na fold. The tray. Now, the way I do it is I like to push my thumb exactly where I wanted to fold, just I guess mold it to that exact spot where I wanted to lay down and then I'm gon na take my thread. We hold all you guys, I'm about to move you closer, so you can see this. How about commit? C'Mere, c'mere girl, you're, gon na stick the thread or the needle through that corner and you're. Just gon na go right under the track that you flipped over. Not the tracks that you've already sold down and then you're gon na do the the Fencing method, which is sticking the needle through the thread, and then you got ta pull through and then I like to do it again and then I'm gon na create a knot. Once I'm done yes girl, you did it. Yup tricks are laying flat. So now, let's start on the next row and don't be afraid to use the T pins to hold up the tracks. It'Ll actually help you, if you're a beginner too so exactly where you want. The tracks to go so the way I like to sew is just straight across, but then, when I get to one end, I will show a little bit further than I did the last time and then, when I flip it over and go the next way or The other way I'm gon na go a little bit further than I did the last time, so we can kind of just gradually go up and to the closure and you'll definitely be able to see as you keep watching y'all do not sleep on this part. You pushing down the track is actually molding it exactly what you wanted to leg, which will ensure that it will lay flat when you put on your wig. So now it's time to add on a track. But I do still have the needle attached to the last track. So what I do is just go through the corner of the left and I'm gon na just go through that twice and then I'm going to create a knot just so that it is secure and that we can continue to thread or so hey guys. So I want you guys to keep in mind to make sure that you have the same amount of space. No, what the heck is a spice. Okay! I want you guys to have the same amount of space from the closure to where you're sewing. You don't want to have AB disproportion space, because then you have to go back and try to fill up the space that doesn't have enough hair. So what you want to just make sure is just keeping it keep it in mind so that, as you are sewing, as you don't make that mistake, mama we made it we baited to the last row. So what you can do is do the exact same thing, but what I like to do is just go through the closure and then sew it through some people. Don'T do it. It'S not necessary, but I just like to blend everything together. I want it to be seamless. I wanted to look as natural as possible, so I like to go through the closure, but it's definitely optional. You do not have to so now. We are finally done. Please do not forget to double not the end when you're done sewing and that completes the sewing process of the closure we are done, but now we need to cut that wig cap from under the closure part. So what I'm going to do is turn it inside out and I'm going to cut just right under the closure. Wig and you're gon na stop right where you started sewing and then I'm gon na go around with the scissors and cut right before don't cut too low because it definitely can unravel so you're gon na cut right before you start it so so so once you're Done cutting off that extra wig cap, it should look exactly like this under your wig and you are finally done since I know it's been a long time coming, please be sure to LIKE the video and make sure you stay tuned for part two. This is the key to making sure your wig is looking as natural as possible. I'M gon na hook you up make sure you subscribe and I love you guys see you guys in my next one
