Glueless Meltdown! How To Easily Melt A 4X4 Closure Wig| No Hd Lace Needed! | Curls Curls

Welcome back so today's video i'm going to show you all how to get the most out of your 4x4 closure wig when applying it glueless and how i make my wigs lay nice and flat. The wig i am working with today comes from curls curls and it is a glueless cap, so you do not need to glue it down. It is a 4x4 lace wig. Now, with this type of wig, you will need to pre-style it. So what i like to do is to do this on a canvas head the night before or the day before i plan to wear it, so i'm going to create some edges around the front. Now, if you know about the closures, you know that they stop at the center of the cap. So then the rest on the sides usually is just weft hair and you normally will leave some hair out. So what i'm going to do is to just create some fake edges so that i won't have to leave any of my edges out. So i'm taking my razor and just cutting shorter hairs around the front. Now these can be used for baby hairs or they can just be used to create the illusion to cover up those wefts. The best part about glueless styles is that you can pre-style them so that you will have no hassle the next day, if you're, in a rush for work or if you need to get out the house - and you just want to put your wig on without having To style them and the best part, is you: don't have to worry about gluing down your wig and taking the time to make sure it's perfect. You just put the wig on and go prior to this video. I did squeeze the hairline and thin it out. This wig do not come with a pre-plucked hairline and i'm also creating some edges here. As you guys see, i'm tweezing that out too so for styling. Today, i'm going to add waves to this hair. This hair does come in a natural, wavy texture. However, i want to enhance those ways by using my waiver. I will be sure to put this below in the description box, so i just added some hairspray and then i'm just using the waiver to add the waves. So i'm going to go ahead and continue to add waves throughout this wig and then i'll come back and we will apply it and i'll show you how to do this glue this just just now that i'm at the top. What i'm going to do is take small pieces of hair, well, not small pieces, but small areas of the hair. That'S on the closure and i'm going to use the hair to hide the wefts. Yes, you can do this with a 4x4 closure and, as you can see, this wig can be worn in an updo. You don't have to settle just for middle parting um and if you decide to wear without glue, you can also leave your edges out. So this style is similar to if your stylist was to do your hair in like a sew-in, and they were to do the half up half down style um. So this is like the wig version of that. Basically, just yes, so so application is so simple. You have your wig cap on, you, take the wig and you just put it on your head: i'm going to take the combs on the sides and insert them in my hair to secure the wig, and then i'm also going to secure the adjustable straps in the Back now, as you can see, once you get it on, you can kind of see where you want to go back and you know tweak it a little bit but baby. This wig is laid flat with me doing the minimum styling on my head. So i am going to go back and tweeze out some more hairs from the baby hair area, because i do not want thick baby hairs. I just want some edges to lay and just be late honey. But at this point you guys this wig looks so good with no glue and it's very secure because, like i said you have those combs and you have them adjustable straps, that's in the back to tighten up the wig. This is the finished result. This wig was sent from curls curls. As you seen. This is a 4x4 closure wig. The length of this wig is about 20 inches. I will be sure to put everything in the description box. I honestly feel like i was not expecting to get a natural looking. Glueless style out of this wig because it is a 4x4 closure. Someone asked me in the comments. Can i take a wig that is not perfect out the box and make it look good? I feel like i did that my first impressions on this wig, i'm gon na be honest, was not the best in today's video. I showed you guys the wig already with the lace cuts and it's already been washed. When i first got the wig, the hairline was not pre-plucked, the hair is very full from the top to the bottom. Waves are beautiful, but the hair textures for me was a bit dry as far as the quality. So my first impressions of this wig was like. Let me just go back and just kind of transform this wig. This wig is about 239 on the website. The 4x4 closure. Some people don't know how to work with it. This wig is definitely one. I want to show you all how to style. If you want to get this style, as you can see, the 4x4 closure can look very natural. I think this looks so good. It does not come with bleach knots again. The hairline was not pre-plucked, so you will need to go back and pluck the hairline. You will need to bleach the knots you can't see them now and that's because i use my mac studio fix powder to cover them, but that's another trick you can do. I really love the way i styled this. If i take it down, because i lay everything nice and flat, i can still get a really natural look without this ponytail at the top, but the hair itself is not extremely heavy. The cap construction is glueless, so what i did on the sides - and i'm pretty sure i explained this already - i went in with the combs and like put them into my hair on the sides and i hooked on an adjustable strap. So if you want to do the same style, make sure you part off a section of hair from that closure to cover the wefts so that you won't see them. This application is 100 glueless, no gels, no hairsprays, none of that and girl. This looks really good to be a 4x4 closure.
