Elastic Band Method | Secure Your Lace Closure Wig Without Glue | Dsoar Hair ♡

Hey honeys, welcome to my channel. My name is maisha levay and i'm back with another video. Today, i'm going to show you guys how i get my wigs to lay extremely flat without any sprays, glues, gels, like literally nothing 100 removable, take offable whatever. This is how i do my get up and go wigs where i don't have to do anything. I literally just put my wig on and go. This is like the simple easy route to wearing wigs and i love it. This hair is from d sore hair. I have, in their 20 inch closure with bundles 22, 24 and 24 in their loose deep wave texture. I will have all of their information down below in the description box, so y'all already know go check them out, but we're gon na go ahead and get into this video so keep on watching before we get started. I wanted to mention that this is a two-part video part. One i'll show you guys how i construct my wig from start to finish with me: sewing down my closure to the wig cap and my mapping technique for a flat and seamless wig and i also hand stitched all of my bundles onto the wig cap. That video is very beginner friendly. I attach an elastic band to my wigs, so i'm going to go ahead and measure my head with the elastic band to see where and how long i want the elastic band to be. You want to measure it depending on where your closure will lay on your head, so i know that, with my 4x4 closure most of the times they are stopping at the arch of my eyebrow with the elastic band when you're measuring how much you want to cut You want to make sure that you actually stretch the elastic around your head, because if you don't stretch it it'll just go from ear to ear and it won't have any elasticity and like pull your closure. So you want to make sure that you actually pull the elastic and stretch it to its max. The elastic band is going to pull your closure and your wig talk to your head so that you can achieve that glueless, but scalp-like install to make it easier. I fold my wig inside out and place it onto the wig head so that we can go ahead and attach the elastic band. The correct way to attach the elastic band to your wig is from temple to temple. So, basically, where your closure is - and you want to sew this flat so that it doesn't appear bulky and it can be seamless here - i'm going to show you the correct and incorrect way to lay the elastic band on your closure when you're about to sew it. On so you want it to go in the direction that you actually will put the wig on, so that it can lay flat against your temple. So i do have the elastic band like on the tip or the edge of the closure. You want to sew this onto the closure so that, once you put the wig on it actually pulls your closure taut. So that is why you want to sew it on the closure, and you want to make sure that your stitching is very close together and tight. So that it doesn't rip the closure and everything stays nice and neat, so the same thing applies for the other side when you're, attaching the elastic band, you don't want to lay it this way. This way it's incorrect, you want to lay it so that it lays flat against the scalp and there's no books. Now this is the easy part actually putting the wig on. All you have to do is kind of, like flip, your wig inside out you're, going to put the elastic around your head first and just flip your wig back once you have your wig on your head, you can go ahead and adjust it to your liking and Place your part where you want it, as you can see, is very much melted to the skin and we did not use any glues, no sprays or gels. Styling and customization of your wig is based on your liking. So you can add some baby hairs. If you want, but i'm just going to go ahead and tame these curls and get everything looking nice and neat and flowy, because i kind of like the wet look so yeah so so that completes this video.
