How To Revamp Your Closure Wig With Blunt Highlights | Nadula Hair Review | The Tastemaker

Hey: what's up everyone, it's the text maker, welcome back to my youtube channel. So today we are going to be doing a review for nebula hair. Now you guys know that I have work. We need to live in the past. I reviewed some curly hair from them about a month ago and I will be doing an update on that hair very soon, probably right after this one. This is a closure unit, it is 26 inches long and it is a 4 by 4 of course, closure. I did customize this unit, I really like it. Actually, I was able to bleach this hair twice, and this hair is still very beautiful, as you guys can see, it's not stiff. It'S not crunchy at all. The hair is super soft. I thought this would be a really great way to like revamp your closure unit, and this video is inspired by arrogance. Hey, let me throw that out there so yeah without further ado good morning, you guys, so I have a closure unit that I made using some hair from the Dula hair. This hair has been washed in air dry. So that's why it looks like this. I have bleached it, but did not like this stuff. Already off top, I'm really liking the color. I like how dark this hair is I really like really dark hair but anyway, so you guys see I put all these little braids in the hair, because I'm thinking about doing another hairstyle that I've seen arrogant adieu. So, as you guys can see, I put some braids in this unit. I have one here I have one here, then I have one in the back right here and then I have the same on this side. So I just have the hair braided in multiple sections. So I literally just part a section literally like a square part of this front, part in the front. This piece is just out laying down. This is the next piece. Now I have my bleach, I use a 40 volume bleach and I also I mean I use 40 volume developer and quick blue bleach, and this is the consistency that I have on camera. It looks like this is actually blue just for reference, so you guys don't buy and be like. Mine. Doesn'T look like that? It'S because my camera lighting always makes everything look brighter than it is so what I'm gon na do now is I'm gon na grab all the sections that I braided on one side. Okay, the rest of this. I want to keep this out of the way, so I'm just going to get a clamp like this, so I'll, just pull this hair down, I'm just gon na get a clamp and then I'm just going to clamp this hair down like so. Actually, I should probably put a little lower so like this right, so just keep that hair out of the way for a moment, then we're going to get our three sections. So our three braids like this, so you guys can see we have this part clips. These are the three braids I'm gon na get some foil and I'm gon na put the foil underneath the hair and just kind of unravel it's as long as the hair is okay, so Mike this hair is 26 inches, so the length of the foils its pretty Long as well, so let me do this real quick, see. I see okay, so I'm gon na take a tee pin and I'm gon na pin it in the front right here. Okay, this is the front of the way so I'll put a tee pin right here. Don'T play all the way through just put it so that it stays cuz. So this can rip the foil and you don't want to do that. So then, I'm just gon na put another pin back here and push that in right there, okay, so we got a pin here and a pin here and then these will fold over in just a moment. Okay! So now that we have that done, we can go ahead and unravel our braids that we made for each section. So now you should have something like this. So there's a strand here, a strand here and a strand here, okay, so it should look something like that. Right now, here's what it looks like all the way down - okay, so this is a brush that I was talking about. This is a blending brush. So that way, when you are doing this type of thing, you don't have any harsh lines or anything like that. So that's the purpose of this brush: [ Applause, ], [ Applause ]. So now I'm just folding the foil over so cover the leech strips. So I'm taking. I just took the pins out and you just want to literally fold this over now. If you find that you don't have enough foil, you can always get another piece of foil, but I'm gon na do my best to like try to close this up. So I'm gon na take one of the pins now that I've folded it and I'm gon na put it through here just to keep that part closed and then I'm folding, the bottom half and you just want to literally roll this up so fold it one time Like this, I know you guys can barely see and then another time like this okay, so you just folded it up like that. So it's one big, oh four, like this. Okay, you guys so I'm just gon na unravel it. So you guys can see what it looks like after this first bleaching. So I'm gon na take this out and I may or may not bleach it again depending on how it looks right now so and the good thing about it is that it actually got pretty blonde. So, as you guys can see, I don't know you guys can see, it actually got pretty blood and I like the fact that it has like highlights and lowlights within the highlights, so that's actually kind of cool. I wasn't sure how I felt about it, but I'm like yeah, it's actually pretty cool and then here's this final one over here see yeah, it's pretty good. So I'm thinking about bleaching it again but we'll see, and then you guys can kind of see how the roots are. You see how it's like a little split like that. So let me go ahead and fold this back up, so I can bring it to the phosphate, so I can rinse all of this out so once I rinsed it out. This is what it looks like. The hair is damp like this. Hair is soaking wet right now, but this is what it's looking like at the moment. This is off of the mannequin, obviously but yeah. So this is what the highlights and stuff are looking like. Now it does look darker because the hair is wet and I am going to go ahead and do this again, but I have to literally wait for this hair to dry. Okay, you guys. So this is the second time that I have bleached this unit. I'M going to reveal it a little bit for you guys here you guys can see, maybe how blonde that is. It'S super blonde now, so that's perfect! That'S just what I wanted all the way through. It'S like super blonde. Compared to this, you see what I'm saying this is like what I did the first time, and I left that there, because I'm doing like a highlight, low-light type of thing, and I bleached the bottom of that strip too. But this is what this side is looking like, so this is ready to rinse out. So I'm going to go ahead and rinse it out and then, like I said, I did a little piece down here. Pull it up for you guys to see you guys can see. So these pieces are like the first blonde job that I did. I bleached it to the ends and the same on this side, and I just pull oh you know just look. I have like a little bit of flavor and a little dimension and then of course, this side. So let me go ahead. Take all of this out! Rinsed! It tone it. Then, when I come back, we're gon na go ahead and Flatiron it and all that good stuff on camera. Okay, you guys so here is the unit. I just have to go ahead and Flatiron it now, so you guys can see where it's lighter. It'S like darker in certain places in other places, this backfire is pretty much just gon na be like all over the place. I did want it to be one strip like this one, but it didn't work out so anyway. This is the overall unit. I know it looks crazy right now I did put some heat protectant on here. Some it's a tin spray which is a leave-in conditioner. I put this heat protectant in stroking baby. What'S handling we're anything bleach, look how I look Bom and it's super flat jackassy. Yes, I love it. It came out great okay, as you guys can see. I already have the unit on and this wig is Wow. Like I said I got this idea from arrogant a this is not my original idea. I always make sure I tell you guys where I get stuff from, because I just feel like there's a lot of dope people. Do I wan na cut some hair off it's why I need to get my marrow, so I cut more here on foot anyway boom. Our weight gets apply. Hello, I'm right here. So here is our wig with all the hair. Here. Anybody don't have that. Well, I'm gon na have to have this piece just coming down. I wanted to have like that little flip thing, but I'm gon na have to have it coming down and I didn't put any foundation or nothin like that. Underneath got the gun over. So I'm trying to keep my little humps chicken out so yeah. This is a hair in mind. You guys I bleached his hair twice and you guys see how beautiful it still is. I kind of like the fact that it's like bleach different places like in the back so that way it does add a little dimension to it, but I am in love with this hair, the quality of it. This isn't a doula hair for anyone who's wondering, of course I should have mentioned that by now, but look how beautiful this hair is even after being bleached. I really like my hair like this. I think it looks super cute. You guys. I have been freaking love with this week, like I'm, not even gon na lie to y'all yummy, I'm always in strapless something I don't have any earrings on her. Anything like that. Have any changed? No jewelry, nothing, but I just really like my hair and it's like even with it like mixing in with the black in certain parts, I'm just looking like highlights and lowlights in my hair. It'S just really nice and it's super long. This is a 26 inch unit. Now I will give it to the fact that I did use some products that make your hair look nice and shiny like this. Like my the Armazones heard of the heat spray, I also use some of my organic coconut oil spray and I use some biosilk in this unit and you guys seen all of that, but look how beautiful this hair Flatirons, like. Oh, my gosh, you guys so I'm so excited I'm all over the place. I don't even know where to begin right now, so you know doula, I'm working in the past. Of course you guys know this. This will be my second time working with them. The first time that I work with them, I reviewed some of their curly hair and I loved that curly hair. So I was also open to reviewing some of the straight hair as well. In this straight hair. You guys is super bomb. Now I'm gon na do a front. If you guys don't know it's like one of those popular YouTube companies, one that seems like most of the popular people on YouTube either have Nabila hair or have reviewed a new hair anybody who's. Somebody knows about a doula hair, and now I see what all the hype is about because either see you guys for me to have licious hair and not once but twice, and for it to still have this movement. It'S not fried at all. The hair is still really soft, and I know some people probably want to know whether or not this hair can take bleach, and it definitely can. If you wanted to, you, can bleach this hair twice put some color on it and boom, but today I just wanted to give you guys a different way. You can style your closure units because a lot of us have closure wigs. I just hate the fact that I look naked trying to sit-ups alone. Sometimes we just get tired of wearing our closure wigs the same kind of way. So I've seen this look done, but it was done on a lace. I think this look down, but it was done on a lace, front and a middle part and then had like baby hairs and stuff like that. But I was like you know what this will be perfect for a closure unit, because it's already gon na be in a middle part. It'S already super flat. You don't have to worry about doing. Maybe here's another neck, because you really don't want to do baby hairs. Wedding artstyle like this, I got ta think that it looks fine like how it is just regular and laying down like this rather than to do baby hairs. But if you wanted to put some baby hairs in here, you could. The only thing is that more than likely a baby here is going to be blonde, so who wants blonde baby here? It'S cuz! No make you look like the Bob yeah. I freaking love this hair. I know you guys are loving it too. So I will have some similar units like this available. Very soon. I bleached your nuts on this unit, I plucked this unit and then I went ahead and bleach their hair twice.
