What'S up best friends welcome back to my channel if you're new here hello, my name is Ayane or you could call me sin, and I I'm here to show you guys how to make wigs so about a month ago I posted a video on my channel about How to make a frontal league - and it did very well - and I got a lot of questions about you - know the method that I choose to do to show you guys now that it's not mom all proof foolproof method of making a wig. But I feel like that was the easiest way to show you guys who are new week makers or beginners or who want to make their own wigs. How to do that. Alright imma go through the comment section of this video and grab a little bit of questions and then we're gon na go into the tutorial. I will leave time months as to when the video actually starts, but if you are new here then I suggest I definitely suggest you listen to these questions, so you won't ask me again in the comment section, because if I get these questions again, I will not Answer them, okay, can you make another video, but with the closure of the beginner way? Yes, that's the video that we're gon na do today so keep on watching. Somebody said: what do you do with the extra cap in a bag? Are you talking about this extra weight happen about you? Leave it there, because it's gon na cut the backup of your hair do not cut that off, because you're gon na mess up the shape of your weave. I have a comment on my video about my black hair. Okay, the girl said that I was using my black hair wrong and a girl no you're wrong, because the black head is just a shape, just like your regular head, so nothing in the front you're, faithful flat and in the back. You have a hook right. So you front your face: go flat and in the back you have a hook. That'S the exact same way. You use your black head now in the last video, my black hair was a little bit distorted because it was used. It was worn out. Honey, like I was telling I'm telling you like our white, make wigs on a daily basis. Another way that you can tell is there's gon na, be numbers on the back of your flock in a way that you will know that your block head is facing the way that it should be. Is the numbers go into the back? So, just imagine you have numbers on the back of your neck. That'S the way that it should be facing something. Yes, okay, so I go through the elastic band when I started sewing the Front's on both sides and the back through the cat. I thought that makes this shrink okay, so when you are actually making your wig the right way - and it's aren't a blockhead like this, when you put your cap on a blockhead, it's going to be stretched to the side of your head already right. So it don't matter if you do or don't go through the tracks, it's going to be the size that you need regardless. So, yes, you can go through they cap. One sewing it's fine, because it is already in the size that you already need. If you are sewing on it, like a lot of people like to sew on those styrofoam heads and you get any wonder why I don't stretch or organs the size that you need is because those thyroid hips aren't shaped right and they're, not your actual head size. Okay, so if you want to know how to measure yourself, you guys refer to that last video. I will leave it in the description bar and the cue cards and at the end of this video, alright, so, yes, you could salt through this elastic band, it's okay, but you definitely need to invest in a blockhead and we want you and blessing to invest in A blockhead you'll be so happy. I swear to you, your wig making is gon na go to another level. Do you install combs in the unit? That'S up to you, there's your preference. No, I don't like stalk homes into my personal units and I don't typically do that on to customary units on the stage bust it. I don't like combs in my hair like and that's just that either I'm going glueless or we glowing that thing down. So I don't need combs, or any of that can I make a wig on my sewing machine. Yes, I will end up making a wig on my sewing machine. I just need help recording that, because it's gon na be an awkward B. So once my boyfriend has the time to record me, so I can show you guys, I will make that for you. Should your hair be braided underneath if I would say no, your hair doesn't necessarily have to be braided. Underneath me myself, I wear wigs a lot. So that that is my protective style, I am natural, so my hair is definitely braided. Underneath that's how my hair grows. The quick is because I leave it alone, so I would say: braid your hair, underneath if you're gon na commit to wearing wigs, if you're, not a person that commits to wearing wigs, then no, you don't have to have your bare butt in underneath. Yes, your wig will be the flattest looking and the foundation will be super flat if you have braids, but you can also put your hair in a low ponytail. Make your ponytail go down here, break the ends of it, flip it up and that's fine as well. I'M using a closure instead of a frontal, should I place it a half inch or an inch in front of the wig cap. Yes, you do the same method that you would do for a frontal for the closure. So when you put it down, you want to pull the closure in front of the cap an inch or a half inch down okay. So I have a question that says: why measure when you're not doing anything to the cap and she's she's talking about why I mentioned your circumference or anything when you're not doing anything to the cap. That'S because everybody here is is a different size. Yes me, you might have the same circumference, but our hairline starts at a different place, so your hairline might start up here, but my hair splines are back down back here. Your your temple to Temple might be a different measurement and your hairline of the hair starts different, so you definitely want those measurements. So when you place your cat down, you can make the wig a custom fit, and the last important thing that I'm gon na say per questions is about the spacing of the tracks. So in the video you saw me do a thumb space between each track, and that was because I was doubling my left - we're doubling or well. You are putting to us together, so spacing your tracks are actually okay. That way, you're not going to see in between your tracks, don't nothing. But if you don't want to do that by all means you can use a you can use your pointer finger, which is like half a half an inch space between each track. No, you do not want to stack your tracks on top of each other like and there's no spacing or gapping, because you're going to use a lot of hair and it's gon na. Take you forever to complete your wig. So in my video that I'm gon na show you right now, I am going to use that I am going to double. My tracks are already double my tracks. I sewed them together with my sewing machine today, so it looks like one track, but they're actually doubled. So you're gon na see me do with the thumb space alright. But if you want to single out your traction by all means, you use the you use your index finger to space them apart. So yes, nice getting all right! You guys so these sort sent me this hair and I am going to use it for this video. They did send me their body waves, textures for bundles and a closure. I will leave all the specs to the hair down beneath and I'm gon na just show you what the hair looks like. It comes very neat um. I actually really like this brand of hair because it really choose good, it dies good and it keeps its integrity. Okay, so this is Swiss lace um. It is in a medium brown texture, it does have long baby hairs and it is a pre-cut closure. Hey now, so you don't have to do that much work but yeah, so the mesh cap. I am going to use for this, video is from Donna, and I am going to show you that the number is in the back of the mind blockhead alright, so the slope is in the bag and all I'm gon na do is just put on my mesh Cap put it to the measurements of my head. Okay, I am going to keep in the back of it down, so it does not move, and now I am going to slide my closure down. Maybe a half an inch down and I map in the front down and I'm gon na make sure that the closure is laying flat on the the mesh cap. Okay, because you do not want it to buckle, you don't you you don't want to pull it too. Tight either, but you don't want it to buckle, so you just wanted to want it to like flush against your wig cap right and then you pin that on down to Sokka be secure, so you could go through and you could sell it on down. So this is what you want your closure to look like all right, so I showed you guys how to do measurements. In my previous video I again I will link that down below and at the end of this video, so you want to braise your closure or your frontal, whatever you're, using out of the way, and then I like to clip it. So I could just make sure she's on out of the way. So I ran out of my sharpies and I am going to use a white eyeliner. So don't judge, but I start making my line on the first seam of the elastic band so where that first seam start. That'S why I started doing my my guidelines and I'm going to do my thumb space and I'm gon na keep going from the bottom to the top all the way up to the top. Until I can't do a straight line anymore and then you're gon na see me curve it on in or and you guys, if you want the blueprints, we got sort of a call it on my Instagram, the blueprints, I'm gon na. Add it onto my insta stories and I'm making a highlight on my Instagram, so you guys can always refer back to these blueprints for your wigs. Okay. So yes make sure you follow me on Instagram and check out these blueprints for your for your closures and your frontals women wig. Making, okay and a lot of you guys hit me and y'all told me that I tried my method and I loved it and it just came out, came out so balm and I'm so happy that that happened for you guys. That'S all! I want to do to show you our easy way, once y'all figure out how to just create one, your method will get better. You will start making it even better than with what I told you or showed you how to make your wigs and it won't be hard for you guys alright, so you just want to fill in the cap. I like to do my guidelines. I really don't like using um the makeup pins for this, because that it tends to smudge. I like my my metallic sharpie, so you can use a metallic sharpie and silver or a white marker. Alright that'll do the job but yeah, so I'm gon na just fill it on in and we'll get back to it. Okay, you guys. So after this line, the next track will be around the closure, so you don't necessarily have to work that out all right. So I want to stress, make sure you are tying a knot at the end of your thread and your needle okay, because somebody's commented and they said how come their thread always falling off their needle and I'm like. Is it not it like because I'm confused? But yes make sure you do that. I don't understand why I got ta say that but yeah just make sure you guys do that. So you guys see me: do this method on my last video put the put the needle through the cap and the closure go in between the strings, pull it through right and now. You'Re gon na put the needle through the closure and you're gon na knot. It and you want to knot it all the way through the elastic band and then, when you get from it elastic band, you just want to just sew regularly so knot it pull it through, make sure it's tight and keep doing that method. The same method and that's the entire method of sewing. It'S super easy. It'S not difficult at all! You guys! It'S just take your time. Don'T overthink it! You know you're gon na make mistakes your first time around, but the more you do it, the better. You will get it put it through grab the ending of the string, wrap it around three times, pull it through and that's how you make a knot alright, so we want this week to be secure. We don't want these tracks in this closure to not move. Okay. You hear me all right, so, yes, that's how you do it start off your tracks or your closures with a knot, and you want to end it what a knot, so you can secure both of them on the piece of fabric that you're sewing on all right And you will not have any problems, and so I'm showing you I'm going to the other side and I'm gon na do the same motion. And after you finish, you want to cut the string. And then you want to hand, tie a knot twice or three times. Whatever you like but make sure you tie, it tie a knot twice just to secure it, and then you want to cut all the extra string - and you just do this for every single track that you have on your guide lines until you get to the top T-Pins are a great helper when making a wig, because you don't necessarily want to hold your tracks up while you're trying to so like you want your hands-free, it's possible, so it's easier for you to maneuver your needle and thread. Okay! So use your t pins utilize. Your t pins or your sewing pins. I don't typically suggest song pins because they don't hold the weight of the track up very well, so definitely go to your beauty, supply or your local or your local Amazon, your Amazon and order. You some t pins and they will do you justice, okay, so you just want to follow the same method. Put it through the cap through the weft pull it through. Not it yep. Do it again until you get through the entire elastic band. Remember because your wig and your your mesh cap is on a wig head, it's not going to shrink it's going to stay the same size, so it doesn't matter if you are going through the band. It'S not going to shrink alright! So so that's something that you do definitely do not have to worry about. Oh and I'll definitely put up a blueprint of the guidelines for flipping your tracks on my Instagram as well. So make sure you guys follow me on there. If you, if you're interested in seeing the blueprints or whatever like that so yeah, if you do not like Kinnear tracks - and you are the type of person I'd rather flip your tracks, I'll show you how to do that on the guidelines as well. Super easy, okay and the last thing is: you want to stroke on your lash track to your wig and that's gon na connect, your closure or your frontal to your wig. So you want to line your lash track up against your closure or your frontal use. Your T pins utilize, your T, pins. No, you do not want to lay your closure. I'M sorry! You know you do not want to let your last wrap on top of your closure or your frontal. You want to lay them side by side where they're touching each other, but not laying on top of each other, because if you lay them on top of each other, once you're finished, you're gon na have a hump on top of your head and that's what you Don'T want you want your transition to from your closure to the your tracks to be smooth and seamless. Okay, so, and during this method, you want to sew in a lock stitch. All the way through do not do the under under loop. Okay. So, in a lock stitch, all the way through all right and it's gon na make sure your wig stay intact all the way, and that is it, and this is what the wig looks like after I did that if she is super neat super clean and you Know people was talking crazy and my comments in my last video talking about the spacing is too thick or wide, but obviously you can't see spacing in my legs, so it's just like. If you want to use excessive hair to make a wig, then girl do you and make a use excessive hair, but I'm just letting the girls know you could get away with three or four bundles eat real easy and you do my method and you'll have a Seamless wig that you can't see any gaps or anything like that and it'll be bahama right. So my last thing is a lot of these guys were saying that she wants to see the hair on me in my last video, which I have a whole bunch of videos of me applying the wig and everything like that. So I didn't understand, but okay, so this is what I look like with the wig line. I just took this in front of my boyfriend's house, but yeah yeah. This is what I look like with the wig on and I am going to upload another video of me applying the wig. Ok, so that is coming. If you guys have any questions or concerns, remember to leave them down below and don't forget to follow me on. Instagram, if you want to see those blueprints and I'll be back with another video bye best friends,

Kimberly Parker: I've been a hairstylist for 25 years and am also a Cosmetology instructor. I've decided that since we are quarantined, that I would learn to make wigs. I must tell you that this is THE BEST instructional video that I've seen so far, and I watched most of it with the sound muted and could still follow you step by step. Just wanted to say GREAT JOB!!!

C W: This is like the BEST tutorial I’ve seen on this! Finally an organized stylist who uses a blueprint for laying the tracks! My brain thinks so organized that I hate guessing where I’m supposed to put the damn tracks because most you tubers edit out the most important part which is closing/ending the wig toward the top. THANKS GIRL!

pearline stewart: I followed this process to the T, i even went and got the mannequin head on amazon, and my wig came out so good. So thank you so so much. You saved me a lot of coins and gain a new subbie in the process. Thank you so much

AriiiC: I cannot express to you how much you saved me from messing my wigs up! You are a blessing girl

Victoria Smith: So I finally decided that I wanted to start making wigs for my mom. I've saved this particular video and have watched it over and over and over lol. It's so informative and one of the few videos I've seen sewing through the band

Osha P.: I LOVEEE YOUR VIDEOS GIRL! I am aiming to start my wig making business, so this came in handy!! Also, I think when they asked about sewing through the band and it be being tight, they sewed all the way through it. Don't go all the way through that thick band, just go through that first stretchy layer!

Tiffany Green: New Subbie. I love how detailed this is. The “Blueprint” is the best ever. Rewatching this as I will be making my own wig when these bundles come in. Because sis....yesss. The “thumb spacing” tip is A1

Chirese Hoskie: Thank you so much! I came here from your beginner lace front wig tutorial! Most stylists start to sew the first track then skip to the end and go "just keep sewing until you get to the top" without actually SHOWING anyone how to get to the top while keeping the wig flat! No outline, no nothing!

Delana Hill-Thomas: This was the most simple and best wig making video I’ve watched Thank you

Danielle S.: Thank you for the tutorials! They really are the best I’ve seen in a long time. Really detailed and straightforward instruction which I really appreciate so thanks again!

AKOSUA AMISSAH: First time doing a wig and I love love love this tutorial. Thanks ☺️

Jae Bell: I just made me a wig yesterday using your technique and it turned out BOMB!! Thank you so much for sharing! ❤️ A friend of mine asked me to make her a unit with babe hairs. I’ve been practicing but haven’t mastered them yet

Lindy Wheeler: This is the best and easiest one I've seen so far. Thanks for sharing! I now see what I have been doing wrong. Can't wait to try this out! Thanks again!

Khadijah Thomas: Thank you for this! I greatly appreciate your tutorials. I’ve made a few wigs now and I always have an issue with the wig not coming up far enough on the sides in order to cover the hairline. Do you know how I can avoid that problem?

Bldot: You will have way more subscribers and views soon! Thank you for making time for us and explaining everything so perfectly ❤️

SaBrina Berry-Taylor: Girl, you did your thing. Great instructional video. Excellent even because I had to have my sound muted because of being at work. I was still able to follow your instructions. Thank you so much

4givenbyf8th: Girlfriend, this video helped me step my wig making game up big time. Although I love to sew a wig on the machine, it had been a while and I wanted to try sewing my wig by hand again, but I always hated sewing by hand because all that work for the wig to be bulky or super big, however, that has all changed thanks to your video and method! I sat in front of my tv while I was ready to start on my wig and watched this and followed your instructions and this is the first wig that I have made where the wig came out not looking puffy, not bulky and most importantly I didn’t need combs or even glue to hold my wig on, it’s the perfect fit. I used the guidelines that you advised and it helped me tremendously. I even used my finger to properly determine how much to separate the tracks in between one another and the outcome was perfect. Thanks a million, there are a trillion videos on how to make a closure wig, but yours is the best of them all. Thanks dollface. You saved me.

kcdivine1: Thank you for your awesome instructional videos! One day I'm going to attempt to make me a wig. I ordered my block head and stand... Now I need to find the right hair.

Dominican Kandie: Thank you! Thank you! I have this thing where I always watch wig making videos before I start making a new wig myself (idky ), and I'm so glad you posted this today. Just like the last one, this video is super detailed, and clear. I'll watch this a few more times before I start on mine. Tfs ☺

Paula: I've made my own wigs before but I've never seen one made like this... This blueprint method is AMAZING and I will def try ths!! Lately I've been wanting to be able to wear my units in a ponytail as well.. Can I use the same method for sewing the tracks or should there be an extra track sewn around the edge of the cap to make it look seamless when the hair is pulled up? Also do you have a video showing this? TY so so much!!

mari Bethancourt: this video so amazing i’m deff going to try and honestly you did great you went in depth and it helps a lot

Chanelle Jones: The outline saved my life. Thank you

ro joy: Yes this was helpful you went over things poeple never go over.

Debbie Bailey: Well done!!...love watching your work!

Danielle La'Ticce: Thank you for this video. I feel like the line spacing will help a lot and make it easier for beginners like me. Do you think this is a good method for a closure and 3 bundles of hair? If so should I use my thumb or pointer finger for spacing? I’ll be doing the flip over method don’t know if that makes a difference or not.

Lisa Jones: Hey love. I’ll definitely be using your method! One question, unless I missed this part, how come you start off sewing thru the wefts, and in the middle you sew under? I’m pretty sure it doesn’t matter but what difference would it make if you sewed thru the wefts throughout the wig line rather than under ?

J Hopson: Informative! Awesome job

S: Seamless tutorial

Raina Young: Thank you so much ! U r a wonderful teacher. I got soooooo many compliments. Not bad for a first timer

Let's Talk About God's Word: Hey girl this is my first time trying. I’m hoping it turn out well. Thank you for your video luv I’m 55 years old thank you luv

Ad’ryan Williams: Wow sis, that wig is popping, even though I don’t wear wigs, after seeing this video, i’mmma definitely try this some day to nail this wig slaying...good job.

Donaey: Hi boo, thank you for this video . I just have a question . I followed the blue print and doubled my wefts and I was only able to put a little over 2 bundles in. I typically like to put 3 bundles in for a closure . What did I do wrong ?!

Renée McLin: I liked the method you used it is easy to follow for beginners.

Arleana: this is amazing! I would love to make and wear my own wigs one day too as I just bought myself a sewing machine but my problem is my hairline at the nape is very low and is very noticeable and my hair is very dark which can be hard to hide, so I know this a dumb question but do you have any tips for me? thank you in advance

Adrianne Williams: Chile the "blueprint" is everything . Thank you soooo much

Stephanie Esogenwune: This is such a great and detailed video. I love it ! I am a beginner and I will be doing a wig soon but this video is so detailed and I love it !! I just have a few questions please. When you draw the lines using your thumb as the spacing guideline and double the hair is that also for if I am using 3 bundles and a closure or is it only for 4 bundles and a closure ? also does it matter if I put it through the wig cap and the elastic or not and even if I do not do it will it be a problem ? I know you mentioned it in your video but I'm using the other white head doll I got from the regular beauty supply store.

Obe Amet: Beautiful and thorough

Patricia Scott: Love how you explain in detail

NiquesNails_: I'm using this video as my guide to create my 1st wig tomorrow!! Wish me luck

kaliya jacobs: This video helped me so much thank you

Queen Tee: When you start sewing the wefts, do you start with the longest bundle or shortest?

DearMsFabulous: Been waiting for this video. Thanks girlfriend! Great job!

TMDesigns: Girl that wig looks bomb! Beautiful!!

mtadiva: Love love this video...definitely some much-needed information to tweak my wig making process, I'm still a beginner, I have a question that you didn't address or no one asked does it matter what position you use the needle when you sew; I noticed you sew with the needle under and I sew with the needle over ( you sew bottom to top and I sew top to bottom going through the wefts ); trying to explain as best I can I sew opposite of the way you sew, if that makes sense. I always struggle with how I hold the needle and just being comfortable with holding it. The needle always feels awkward in my hand's Thanks again for sharing your information and keep the videos coming i’m learning so much from you Oh, one more thing can you make a video using a pre used frontal or closure? I don't always discard my frontals or closures if they are still in good condition. Thx ✌️

Tiffany Powell: I'm power watching wig making videos bc my youngest has alopecia and i don't want her to start school without hair :( With that being said your tutorials are AMAZING and how would you recommend attaching the wigs to her head? I would prefer the healthiest method for her scalp..looking for ANY advice bc this is waaaayyy out of my knowledge zone

1ycj: Have u ever thought about gluing on the tracks first to keep in place, then sew them in row to row for more added security? Like glue the first row of your track then sew it in.

Cynthia Patton: Thank you for this..the only problem I ran across was the wig fitting around my ears..I eventually had to cut around the ears and sew the wefts down again. Was this because I got the frontal measurements wrong?? How can avoid this in the future. I hope that makes sense. Thank you!!

HeyChrishinda: If you want a side part, would you put the closure to the side? Or are closures usually wide enough to make a side part? Would it still look right if you put it on the side?

Beatzby. Shoogie: Do you do the the thread wrap around the needle method until you feel like the closure or bundle is secured and go in between the thread each time your threading after it is secured?
