Hey everyone. Thank you so much for clicking on this video, so i will be showing you all in depth how i added some long, lasting crimps to this body, wave wig. If you're interested definitely stay tuned, the wig i'll be using comes from mysteria hair. I received a whole lot of goodies from them. I received some scarves um lashes, an adjustable elastic band. They even sent me like a nude wig cap. They just sent me a whole bunch of stuff. Along with my wig. I wanted to just show that to you guys, um just so that you know what to expect when you receive your package. So this is an actual hd lace, closure wig, it's five, five, five, it's a medium cap, 250 density and it is 24 inches. Look at that hairline and look at that lace. The wig was super super full, so i think moving forward, i'm going to start ordering like 250 density, because the hair is super full, it's like equivalent to making your own custom wiggle like three bundles, so definitely check them out for this wig. Here it is after i bleach the knots pluck the closure put my part in the closure and everything like that. This is it in its natural state, as the hair is washed, so it just dried up in this. You know lackluster state, but we're going to fix all of that, because the other day i was on amazon, just looking at different heating tools and all that good stuff, and i was like you know what i need a new crimper. So i went ahead and i found this crimping iron. I only spent like 20 dollars on it and i received it like the very next day. So it's like a huge one inch barrel super pretty that's what attracted to me at first and it heats up to like 450 degrees fahrenheit. Along with this, i'm going to use some holding spray, i'm using bed head and, of course, i'm going to need some clips. Just to kind of put the hair to put the hair to sections because i'll be working in sections during this entire thing, but before we get started on that, i wanted to show you all how i kind of just do baby hairs on wigs for clients. I like to use something: that's going to hold the hairs into place, so i'm using the she's bomb glue and i'm just simply going to swoop that hair back into the wigs hairline like. So this is a craft like for anyone who um does installs and make wigs for clients, and they request baby hairs. You know it is a craft to do something like this, but voila it is worth it. So here is the wig in its sections just ready. Just ready to be crimped and styled, i'm going to start from the back and i'm going to work my way down each section of hair like so. I literally regretted doing the crimps, because this style is time consuming. I started on this style, maybe i'm gon na. I'M gon na say, like 6 p.m. 6. P.M. I started because it was still daylight out, but i ended up finishing at like midnight. Well, i was binge watching something too, but you know still it's time consuming but, as you guys can see after i finish each section i go in with some hair holding spray just to ensure that the crimps will last as long as i need them to so. Yeah, this is pretty much me actually speeding up the process. So even so, i still see how how long i take on like each section. But what i do love about this little crimper iron is that it heats up to 450 degrees. So it's super hot and it just ensures that my crimps in each like in each little section that i'm working on it it's crimped. It'S not leaving me a little slight wave, it's giving me crimps! Okay, so i really really love that. I also have another crimping iron, that's smaller than this. I think it's like a half an inch barrel um, so i typically use that one when i'm working with body wave loose deep, wave, hair and now that i have this larger barrel crimper. I'M definitely going to use this more so for my body, wave hair. Just to kind of give it um, you know more more of a pattern because you know after you wash body wave hair. That pattern is almost it's almost non-existent, so i typically like to use body wave hair for crimp styles, curling styles, or simply just pressing it straight like i'll. Do like a soap press, but here is the final result of the wig being styled and everything it came out. Amazing i let it sit overnight before i decide to actually put it on my head. I just wanted to show you all how it looked finished. Super pretty super wavy and those crimps are going to last for a few days. So definitely get you some some holding spray when you're doing this and i'm just showing you all um. This is me actually going. I didn't go live, but i was on snapchat and i just decided to show people how the wig looks after i styled it. Do people use snapchat anymore, i'm barely on there but um i got on and i was like. Oh, let me show you guys how this wig looks. Look at those waves like asteria, okay, i have to give it to them. This wig was definitely the perfect one to do this style on. I hope that this video was helpful regarding like how to crimp and how to make sure that your crimps last a long time you can even use spritz if you want to, but i'll leave all the links to this wig down below this video. I want to thank you all so much for watching i'll see my next one bye,

Brasha Blinks: Is there any need to blow dry or straighten wavy hairs before crimping?

Kash McKinney: So I have like a 12 inch wig that I tried to do crimps on with a wave iron but the problem is that the waves don’t be defined like yours, they be barley waved and extremely soft and I have the tool on the highest setting. Any idea of what I may be doing wrong?
