Detailed Closure Wig Install: How To Bleach Knots, Pluck, And Install (No Baby Hair!)| Nadula Hair

Hey guys welcome back to my channel so today we're back with another hair video and i'm super excited, because i think this one was a winner. I think this one was a banger. You know i thought it was going to be very underwhelming, but i like i like the direction that this one went so today, i'm working with nadula hair i've worked with them plenty of times. You guys know. I love their units and i've loved their units. Honestly, if you look back on my channel since i started working with them, some of my favorite units, so today's video - i switched it up a little bit, made it a little bit more interesting. There'S this myth right on youtube: do influencers get scent better wigs or is it that you guys expect the wigs that you guys get to look like our wigs? That'S the real t! So today, i'm gon na like break it down to you guys talk to you guys tell you guys how to get your hair to look like what you see before you order it, because, honestly, some wigs do come made to order typical. I mean not made to order made to wear. Typically, those are going to be a lot pricier or you have to get them customized, and sometimes you just got to put in a little bit more work and you'll get your desired look. So today we're going to put this to the test, and i really am proud of this one, because, first of all, you guys know i struggle with the closures, and i didn't know baby hair moment. I feel like i've been killing you guys with the baby hair and i'm not even that good at it. So i was like. Let me go back to my roots and i really like this like fresh relaxed. You know just simple: look. I'M really really feeling this! So um, let me know what you guys think if you like what you see so far, go ahead and like this video and subscribe, join the family. Okay, we are a happy family over here, okay and keep watching all right guys so, like i said i'll, be working with a doula hair today - and i have this 26 inch, 5x5 body wave closure and it is 150 density, so overall, a very natural unit. Um. Yes, it's 26 inches, but you can get any inch you like, and you can layer and cut it. I prefer to get mine a little bit longer so that i have room to play with it. So this is how your wig is gon na look anytime. You get it straight from the the company, the vendor, whatever. This is exactly how your wig's gon na look actually doesn't look bad. The doula is one of the better companies. When it comes to your frontal coming um, you know pre, i don't wan na, say pre-plug, but you know coming out the box or your closure. So there does need to be some work done, but if, for any reason you just don't know how to do anything you're actually not in the worst situation, so i'm going to show you what i do to make my wigs that i receive suit me better. Make me feel comfortable and just look overall better in my opinion, so i like to bleach my knots i feel like bleaching. The knots just gives it a more realistic feel the the frontal or closure in this case. This is a closure it's gon na make. It lay flatter it just looks so much better, so i start off by spraying the um closure with hairspray just to get rid of any flyaways, and then i'm gon na mix up my mixture um, i'm like playing with different things right now. So this is not like that girl. It'S not. The mixture is not that girl but mix your developer and your um bleach mix it up to a nice thick consistency, but also spreadable, because i've gotten it to a point where it's been like dried up, toothpaste and it don't move and it just crumbles up. You want to get a nice consistency, so just play with it, as you guys are going to see. I did end up adding a little bit more bleach to make it thicker so that it was to my likings so um after i mix it up. I do go ahead and apply that to the whole lace area. In this case a 5x5 lace closure almost a frontal closure, and i just spread it on and i leave it on for about 30 minutes. All lace and knots are gon na bleach differently, depending on the quality of the hair and how big the knots are, how big or how small they are. It'S all gon na depend, so you have to constantly check your um closure or your frontal just check on it every 10 to 15 minutes, but i typically don't have any issues and leave it on for a good 30 minutes, sometimes longer, but typically 30 minutes is At like stop mark and then if it needs to be longer, then i'll go another 15 minutes one of the 10 minutes whatever it may be. So, as you can see, i'm just spreading it on there laying it on thick and i do kind of kind of apply pressure, because i really want to bleach the knots so so i did go ahead and wash that bleach off off camera. I do already have a detailed video on products that i use to wash it out step by step, we're just running it back again, but i do have a very detailed video on this step. So, as you can see, the knots on the wig are a lot more relaxed, they're bleached, it's laying flatter before i'm even plucking. It um. So now, i'm just like parting behind the hair. Well, i'm going to pluck behind the hairline. So i'm parting, like fake baby hairs like where you would put baby hairs. I guess - and i plucked behind the hairline, because what happens is when you pluck too much on the hairline. Sometimes it balds a little bit it's too gappy. It starts to look like it's receding, so your best bet is to just part wherever you're, comfortable and just pluck behind the hairline. You can even do a little bit thicker and then work your way back up, but this is what i do. I just pluck pluck. Pluck messily um, i do have better tweezers, but you guys i have these new tweezers and they were just like too. They were just grabbing the hair by the bun. So i'm using an older tweezer which is like taking the hair out, but not taking out too too much and then um once i pluck that i brush or comb the baby hair section back, and i pluck a little bit just to give it a more realistic. Feel so that the hairline isn't straight across because we don't want the hairline to look straight across because nobody's hairline is just straight across and also whenever you're plucking you just want to pluck kind of randomly all over. You don't want to focus on one spot at a time you just want to kind of pluck in different places so that it does look more natural. As you can see. If i move my hand um, it does look a lot more natural and just keep combing after you pluck, so that you can see what you're doing it makes your job a lot easier like plucking. This probably took me like 10 minutes. If that so, then i do go ahead and spray some of this keratin spray on it. You guys will see that in the next clip - and i just brush it through the um hair, because it helps get rid of flyaways. It gives my hair a nice luster, and i put my hair under the dryer in some cases. I just let it air dry, but i wanted it to dry a little faster today, so i put it under the dryer. So here we are a few hours later face snatch wig dry. Please, please, specifically, please excuse that big old piece of lint that chunky piece of lint on my eyelash. I had no idea that was on my eye until i saw my mom later she's like you, have something on your eye and i was like. I hope that wasn't on my eye the whole time i recorded she was like yeah, and here we are. It was on my eye the whole time, so it's definitely a piece of lint and i did not know even after taking a million selfies but anyways. This is about the hair, so, as you can see, the wig looks, in my opinion, so much more natural than at the beginning. The first clip it just looks like it's just giving okay, so i always clean my hairline off i'm using the erica j skin guard and that's getting rid of any makeup, because in this case i have makeup on. Typically, i like to apply my wigs with no makeup on that helps with the longevity longevity of your install, but today it's okay. So now i'm just spraying this even spray. I'Ve talked about this spray in previous videos. I'Ve been using it for the past few weeks. It is amazing, it's great, it dries fast. It melts your lace and i feel like the installs last pretty long, so i'm just putting that on pushing that lace into my skin and trying to melt it down baby melt it down. So now i'm going to take an elastic band just to help melt my lace, some more and as this is melting. I typically leave this on, while i'm styling my hair or like 10 to 15 minutes, because this spray does dry pretty fast and i'm just gon na start styling, my hair, i'm just parting um, my hair. Of course, i'm going to do a middle part. It'S a closure, so for me i personally like to do closures in a middle part versus a side part. That'S just my preference and i'm going to just lay her down. Okay, i'm just going to hot comb. It get it as flat as possible and then i'm going to cut the lace. So i did cut the laces time before styling and then i melted the lace again and then continued to style, which you guys will see in just a second. So now it's time for the fun part, some curls somebody yatty. I know it looks like i put a lot of um serum on my hair, but this paul mitchell, serum, like literally like, disappears in the hair once you brush through it it's amazing. So i typically do like one pump on each side and now i'm just going to curl my hair, i'm using my eap, curling iron. This is a one and a half inch um barrel, so it's a little bit bigger and i'm just curling my hair. Sometimes i will layer my hair before curling the quicker way and the easier way is to curl and then layer. It just depends if there's no rule to it, it's all about how you feel what you're comfortable with um. If you know that you're gon na really wear your hair straight a lot, i would definitely blow out my hair straighten my hair and then layer it so that when i do wear it straight, it's not all choppy. If you know you wear your hair in curls and messy curls and stuff, like me, girl just chop that thing up so yeah, i'm just curling, my hair y'all know the drill, the fun part. So i'm showing you guys there are steps to getting your weight to look a certain way. I know you guys come on youtube or see on instagram. You know a certain influencer, a person's hair may be laid, and then you get your wig and you're like it. Doesn'T look like that you sometimes you have to put in extra work unless they say this. Wig comes just like this pre-plucked pre-bleached pre-styled, which is typically never the case. You'Re gon na have to put in some more work, so do they send us better wigs? No, i really do not think that they send us better wigs for years before i started doing tutorials i used to watch reviews myself. I used to do my research. I used to buy wigs and i never had an issue with any company and i've even purchased from some of these companies that i now work with. So you just have to do your research. You have to really sometimes put in some work. Sometime you'll get a wig um. That is custom. That just depends on you know what you're purchasing, but i'm here to tell you guys just take your time when you invest into a unit, invest time or invest the coin into paying a professional to do it. The wigs are not going to just come they're, not one size fits all. You know what i'm saying you have to do, something you have to tweak it. So i'm just gon na finish: curling my hair comb through it play with it a little bit and my so. I think i finally got this layering situation down packed and we're going to talk about that in another video. But today girl, we don't talk enough. So we're just going chop chop chop chop chop rule number one get some great shears. You need some good shears. I will find these and link them below. I see them in sally's every time i go, but every time i look online they're not on the website. Like i don't understand, what's going on with that, but invest in some good shears honey and get your hair together. So now i'm just going to do that then i'm going to like finish styling. It add a little bit of powder to my part and you guys that is pretty much it. I'M just going to play with it and keep melting. The lace - and just you know sometimes you just got ta - put a little tlc into your install and i'm okay with that, because i wan na look good, so i'm gon na take my time.
