Diy | Box Dye | Chestnut Brown Hair Color | Wig Tutorial

Hey guys, it's Michelle and welcome back to my channel, so I'm back with another video for you guys and in today's video I'm gon na show you how I got this hair color, so we're gon na be doing this auburn brownish red tone, hair. Alright. So let's get started. You'Re gon na need some hair, of course, I'm using a natural black hair and I'm also using a lace frontal to make my wait alike. Always they heard that I'm using it's from Ali pearl. I'Ve used their hair plenty of times. In my video love, the quality of the hair, everything will be listed in the description bar down below the products that I'm using today is the L'Oreal, quick blue extra strand, and I'm also gon na be using the salon hair cream developer. This is the level 40. You can use over 30, but I really wanted to use something strong and I'm gon na go in with my gloves, make sure you're wearing your gloves - and I also have my mass, so I'm not inhaling any toxic and my and my room is very, very ventilated. So not inhaling any toxic, so moving right along. I'M gon na put the bleach powder into this mixing bowl right here and I add like two scoops and then I'm gon na go in with my salon care, cream and developer, and I'm just gon na mix that all around until it's not looking powdery and clumpy. Now I'm going to start off by bleaching. My frontal first do not apply the bleach to the very top of the frontal. As you can see, that's what I did but then I realized. No don't do that because I don't want to weaken the hair and they're. Not so start at the bottom and then work your way up to the top. So I'm gon na just apply the bleach all over this frontal, making sure that each strand of hair gets touched by the bleach, and then I'm gon na apply to the top of the frontal. Now this hair, it actually changed very, very quickly, very fast. As you can see, the color is changing already and I'm just part in making sure that the roots are all colored and then I'm going to wrap it in a MIM foil and I'm just gon na put it aside and leave it for about 15 minutes. That'S it do not want to leave it any longer, because I did not want to damage this hair at all, while my frontal is bleaching, I'm gon na move on to the bundle. So this is my first bundle and I'm just gon na go ahead and apply the bleach all over it. As you can see, it's still wrapped up. I didn't unravel the hair, which I should have do not do this method. It'S actually the worst method. You can do, and this is how the front will look once it's bleach, it's perfect and I washed it out off-camera, so I'm gon na unravel the bundle, and this is how it looks when it's unravel the reason why I said: don't do it the way I Was doing it because it gets so freaking tangley and you don't want to have to deal with that so again, I'm going to wrap the bundle of hair into the aluminum foil and for the bundle I actually left the bleach on a little bit longer. I left it on for about 25 minutes because it was seeking a lot longer than the front Tulsa bleach. Now that I'm done with bleach and I'm gon na go ahead and start making my wig, I'm not gon na, do a full-on making wig video, because I have a video like that and you can check it out in my description bar down below. So the wig is all done. I put the hair into four sections because I'm going to dye the hair before I start dyeing the hair, you want to make sure you protect the lace, so I'm gon na go in with my got to be free spray, and I'm gon na apply this all Over my lace on the inside of the wig and on the outside, just to make sure that the lace does not get stained or whatsoever, and I'm just going in with my blow dryer on a cool setting just to dry. The spray quicker and the spray just acts as a shield to protect the lace from any kind of stain now we're moving on to the hair dye. This is the hair dye that I'm using I'm using a box side. This is the L'Oreal Paris, a rich auburn dye and I'm gon na put all the info in the description bar down below. I actually use three boxes of these now on the Box. The hair looks a lot more red, but I'm gon na get a red brownish shade because of the original color that we're starting off with. As you can see, I have that brassy like orange hair. So now I'm gon na go ahead and I'm gon na apply the dye all over the hair, I'm gon na start off by doing very small sections, and I'm going in with that brush making sure that the dye distribute all over. When you are applying the dye. You want to be very, very careful at the very top anywhere where you're close to the lace, because, even though we protected our lace, you want to be very light hand don't be too heavy-handed, because the dye can still bleed through the lace. And you don't want to get your nuts dark and you don't want to stain your lace at all, so I'm gon na go ahead and start applying the dye on the other sections of the hair. Now guys. The reason why I did this hair color is because I was going to my wig collection and I don't have like a brown wig, and I wanted some more natural colors in my wig collection. Besides from black and blonde all the other colors I have are like fun: colors like pink purples and blue all those crazy colors, but I had nothing Brown and I really wanted a brown wig. I didn't own one so yeah, I'm all done dyeing this hair and I'm gon na. Let this die sit for about 25 minutes and I'm gon na step off camera wash it out, and the only product I used was the conditioner that comes with the dye package and I'm gon na go ahead and blow-dry this hair and straighten her off camera. So this is what it looks like once the hair is straightened. I am feeling at this color. I love it. It'S like a brown color, but it has a bit of red tones in it. My lighting right now, it's pretty bright. It'S a little bit darker in person, but I really really loved how this turned out, and this is pretty much what it looks like this is like 2 days later, because I actually put the wig on and then I didn't finish the video and I came back Two days later, just to show you guys how it looks once I apply, I have quite a few videos on my channel on how I applied my wigs. I will link one of the videos in the description bar down below, so I'm gon na just put my hair in a section, so I'm gon na go ahead and grab my flat iron. This is my BAE, please titanium flat iron. I love this flat iron and I love you frustrating in here and I love it for curling hair as well, so I'm gon na grab a small section of the hair and just wrap it around. My curling iron, not curling iron around my flat iron and I'm gon na hold it for about like 10 seconds I'll, let it go and I'm gon na get these little loose waves. So I don't want it to be like super tight curls, that's why I'm doing it with this flat iron, and I don't really look at my hair - really really tight girls. I like what micros are a bit more on the loose side and guys I look like I was struggling to curl my hair in this video guess what I really was only because I did not have a mirror in front of me. I was literally using the monitor and I'm like um. I can't really see what I'm doing properly on the mirror. I need to be looking in a mirror. While I do this, so I actually had to step off camera to grab my mirror cuz. A girl was struggling, but look we're closer to the top. Now and doing the same thing repeat: the same steps wrap the hair around the Flatiron, let it go and voila she's curl she's. Looking cute guys. I know it's been a while, since I actually did anything fun and colorful on my channel when it comes to my hair. I'Ve been doing a lot of natural looking hair recently, but I will be getting back to the fun and colorful hair, because spring is here and I'm seeing a lot of hair in SPO that I want to try. So I will be the next. Video will be something bold and colorful, so look out for that. It'Ll probably be up by the end of this week, but yeah. This is how she's, looking right now and I'm gon na go ahead and brush the curls out, because I just want my hair to look. You know big and voluminous and I'm gon na go in with some hair mousse. So I'm gon na show you guys two style options, so I want to do my hair in a half up half down situation, so I went in with some hair, mousse and hair foam whatever you call it, and I'm gon na go ahead and brush my hair Up and put it in a half ponytail, so I'm going to take out a small section in the front as well and just leave that part out and I'm really really feeling this style. I really like the style with this hair color and I'm gon na grab a hair, elastic band and just wrap it around the hair just to secure that ponytail into place. Okay, so our ponytail is snatched. She is in place. I'M gon na grab a small section of hair and just wrap it around that elastic band just to hide the elastic band, because we don't want to see that and then I'm gon na grab a bobby pin and just secure the hair. So it's not coming undone and yeah. This is pretty much how she is looking, I'm really feeling this hairstyle. Let me know in the comment section what you guys think.
