Let'S Make A Wig Icy Grey Hair | Hair & Makeup Tutorial

[ Applause, ], hey guys, it's Rochelle and welcome back to my channel. So today, I'm gon na show you guys how I achieve this hair color and how i got this makeup. Look. So if you want to see how I got this entire look, then please continue to watch alright. So let's get started so I'm gon na be using a frontal and three bundles of hair and the hair that I'm using today is from Ali Grey's hair and I'm showing you guys the frontal, because I really want you guys to see the hairline. So this frontal is not a pre. Pluck frontal I've gotten some requests to do a non pre. Pluck frontal I've used quite a lot of pre pluck frontals in my videos, so today I'm doing a nun. Pre pluck okay. How many times am I gon na say? Pre-Loss anyways, as you can see, the hairline needs a lot of work, so I'm just gon na go in with my water bottle and I'm just gon na spray that all up get it nice and wet, because I can't Ouisa hair unless it's wet alright. So I'm gon na go in with my comb and then I'm gon na grab my tweezer and I'm just gon na start tweezing. You want to make sure you're using a good tweezer honey, because you don't to use a dull old tweezer use a good one and I'm just going to tweeze behind the hairline at first and this frontal, I tell you guys needed a lot of toys in a Lot because, as you can see, that hairline is just pretty straight, no one hairlines looks like that, so I'm just gon na customize it to make it look a little bit more on the natural side. Now, when I do a pre pluck frontal, even though they are pre pluck, they do require some tweezing as well, but I never ever tweeze the very front part of the pre pluck frontals. However, with this one, I'm gon na tweeze the front, I'm gon na to ease the entire hairline as well, so I'm tweezing the hairline and I'm also tweezing behind the hairline. Don'T go crazy, tweeze it now, because you don't want to get any bald spots in your frontal, because that's the worst when you have bald spots and you can't hide them so just be very patient. Take your time with it and tweeze behind the hairline and also along the front, if the frontal is not a pre plucked one, but don't take out too much in the front okay. So, yes, this part is time consuming and I'm much doing the same thing over and over. So I'm just going to speed up the process a little bit and yeah. This is pretty much how much hair I got out of it like. I took out quite a bit of hair out of this frontal, and you guys this is the before this is what the front will look like before you see the difference with the hairline. Quite a big difference right, alright! So now I'm gon na go ahead and make this wig. I use a dome mesh cap. I will link everything in a description bar down below this part of the video won't be super super detail, because I do have videos on how I make my wigs already and I'll just link one of those videos in the description bar down below and as I Mentioned before the hair that I'm using is from Ally grace - and this is their six one, three straight hair, so it's my first time using it. So please go ahead and check out any other reviews. If you want to know more about this hair as well and the length that I'm using is 24 inches, so 24 inches a 22 and a 20 inch frontal I'll put everything in the description bar down below so the wig is all done. She is completed. Well, not really because I still have to color it, but this is what the finished product looks like right now and if you guys are new to my channel and you want a full-on video on how to make wigs, I will link that video in the description Bar down below so now we're gon na move on to coloring and the first I'm going to do. Is I'm gon na show you guys my bucket right here and I'm going to use a purple shampoo, the one that I'm using today? It'S blonde brilliance. It'S one of my favorites I've been using this for a while now and I just pour this into the bucket, and this is just going to help get rid of some of that yellow. That'S in the hair. I don't like that. Yellowy blonde hair, so I'm gon na turn tone some of it out with the shampoo alright. So now I'm just gon na go ahead and pour some water into that bucket with the shampoo and then I'm gon na put my wig in there and I'm just gon na leave this in there for about five minutes. You guys so let it sit for five minutes. It'S just like doing the water color method when we're dyeing her hair, so leave it in for five minutes and then I'm gon na pull it out and as you can see, the hair is not looking so brassy. Yellow anymore almost looks like a white blonde. Okay, so before I color my wig, I'm gon na go ahead and protect that lace because we don't want to ruin the lace. So I'm gon na put some got to be gel all over my lace, frontal and just apply it all. Over and II got to be gel. Pretty much just acts like a shield to protect the lace frontals, so we're not gon na get any stains all over. A frontal I also apply some of that got to be free spray for some extra protection, because you know I don't want to risk ruin my frontal alright. Moving on to color. Finally, I'm using two boxes of iron color brilliance, bright cream toner, and this is in the shade, lavender moon and I'm also using two boxes of ion color brilliance, semi-permanent cream, hair color in the shade titanium all right. So I'm gon na apply a lavender moon in a mixing bowl and I'm gon na add some cream developer to this, because you need to use a cream developer or with this product and the cream developer that I'm using it's by salon care. This one is the level 10 and I'm applying two parts of cream developer to this product, and then I'm going to mix it all together enemies in one semi-permanent right now, but to call it the entire wig. I use two bottles of each. I think I mentioned that already, though anyways I'm adding some conditioner to the semi-permanent color. That way, my color can really start because it's not really a lot of product if you're gon na use conditioner and make sure it is a white conditioner. So I always test color some hair. First before I apply the dye over the entire wig, because I don't want to ruin it, so I always do a little test color on some random pieces of hair. So this is the shade of grey I'm going for the lavender moon cream toner. It gives me like a silvery white shade and then the titanium gives a grey shade with a hint of blue, and that is what I wanted. Something gray silvery with a little hint of blue honestly guys. I was kind of experimenting, but this is what I wanted. I wanted something with a hint of blue B. Alright, so I'm just gon na brush out the hair make sure there are no tangles and I'm starting off at the very back and I'm gon na work my way up to the top. So I'm applying the lavender shade to the first row in the back. So I'm just applying it with my brush, make sure you're wearing gloves to protect your hands, because you know you want to get the chemical all over your fingers all over the hair on the very back and comb through it. Just to make sure that all the color is distributed, and I'm just coming through just to make sure that the color is being distributed throughout the hair as well, and I'm just gon na add some foils just to protect the hair from the other color. When I apply it, so the colors aren't really touching each other. You can use aluminum foil. You can use saran wrap to do this as well. Alright. So now I'm gon na go in with the titanium shade and I'm taking small sections of hair out, and I'm just gon na apply this all over the hair and just comb it through make sure that diet is distributed all through the hair and then I'm gon Na go in with the lavender moon shade, so I'm just taking out little sections of hair, applying the titanium shade and apply any lavender shade. As you can you guys watch and you guys can see what exactly I'm doing so, I'm applying the darker shade of gray and the lighter shade of gray as well, because I want this hair to have different shades of gray going through it almost like highlights. So I just want like different dimension of gray, going throughout this entire awake, and I also want to mention that I am NOT a professional when it comes to making waves and coloring or any of that stuff. I'M still learning and I still have a lot to learn because I do get a lot of requests of people. Ask me if I make wigs for other people and no, I do not make wigs for other people right now, I'm just literally learning and I'm teaching you guys what I'm learning so far. Maybe one day I will, you know, make wigs for other people, but for right now I'm not doing that right now. You guys yay we're finally at the top. So for the frontal I'm just going to keep the color more on that titanium, gray shade. I want more of that darker gray on the top, and you guys when you're color in your frontal. You want to be very gentle, so not too heavy-handed. Even though I protected the lace, we've got to be gel, it still could bleed through and I don't want to stain my frontal, so I'm just really being very, very gentle, not very heavy-handed and applying that color to the lace frontal. So I'm all done coloring this wig. Finally, and I left it on for about 15 minutes and then I washed a product out and I'm just blow-drying the hair. I did that off-camera, because I know you guys know how to use a blow dryer right - and this is the finish result you guys so it's kind of like a gray silvery has like this icy blue look, so it depends on the lighting as well. This is during the daytime, so I had a lot of sunlight coming in and, as you can see, you can see the different shades of grey going through the hair and I'm just straightening the hair. First before I apply the wig, so I apply my weight off-camera. I do have videos on how I plan my weeks and righty I'll link, one of those videos in the description bar down below, so I'm just gon na go in with my scissors and just add some layers to the front. I want to cut off some of the length and I think this wig would actually look good really short, so I might end up cutting it even shorter later on all right. So I'm moving on to makeup, I'm including my makeup in this video, so I'm just gon na go ahead and fill in my brows really quickly. First, I just fill in the bottom and then I'm gon na go in with some concealer, and this is just going to act as a base for my eyeshadow and apply it all over and hate. Today and that's my daughter in the background she she wanted to say hi to you guys, cuz, it's been a while, since you guys seen her and I'm going for a glam, look, I'm not doing anything dramatic. I don't really like doing dramatic makeup when my hair is like colourful. I just feel like it takes away from there, but that's just me and I'm gon na go ahead and use a light brown shade, and this is just going to be my transition shade and pop that into my crease. Then I'm gon na go in with the eyeshadow palette, sultry from Anastasia Beverly Hills. It'S my first time using this palette and I'm gon na use a very, very dark brown eyeshadow and I'm gon na place this at the outer corner of my eyes and just pull it down to my lashline, I'm using the brush from the palette and then I'm Gon na take a fluffy blending brush. This is one of the morphe Jaclyn hill brushes and I'm gon na pop that same color into my crease and just blend for my life. All right, moving right along I'm gon na take the black eyeshadow in the palette. I believe this one is called no more, I think, and I'm just going to place this along. My lash line also pull that into my crease and then I'm gon na grab this silver eyeshadow. You guys. First of all, let me tell you this right now. I do not like silver eyeshadow, I hate silver eyeshadow, but I think it was appropriate with this hair color and you know what I liked, how the little turn out. I like the silver, so I'm not gon na heat it on it that much but yeah anyways. I'M just applying this all over the eyelid and then I'm gon na go back in with the black eyeshadow and place this at the order. Corner outer corner was from me hands off so in places at the outer corner, and then I'm gon na pull this into the crease. For this look, I'm gon na create a winged liner. I do this all diam I like when liners and I'm using my favorite liquid liner. This is the NYX matte black liquid liner and I'm just applying it to the top lash line and I'm gon na wing it out and moving right along to false lashes. I'M gon na apply the lashes and these are in the style, mikonos and they're from Lily lashes moving right along, so I'm gon na be using my favorite foundation, my ride-or-die, this is the maybelline superstay multi-use Foundation. Stick I absolutely love this foundation, I'm sorry! I don't have any new foundation to show you guys. I'Ve been using this one so much, but I love it. It'S good. I love this foundation, so I'm just using my Real Techniques brush to apply it and as for concealer, I'm using my Too Faced Born This Way. Concealer I use a shade sand and warm sand to highlight so I'm applying it under my eyes. I love this concealer because it is full coverage and it doesn't leave your under-eye looking dry. It'S very hydrating and I'm just gon na go in with this concealer brush from morphe the Jacqueline Hale collection and just blend in all that creamy product. So moving on to contour I love cream contouring and today I'm going to be snatching the nose you guys. I never really contour my nose a lot, but I'm mustache this nose today and I'm using the fancy Beauty matchstick, and I think this is in the shade. Truffle and then I'm gon na go ahead and blend all that product out. I'M also gon na use my Beauty Blender sponge to blend the nose contour. Then I'm gon na go in with some setting powder just to lock and set everything into place. I'M using the Hooda beautybay powder and the shade that I use is blondie and I don't bake my under eyes and then I'm gon na go ahead and apply some bronzer and I'm using my favorite, my ready to die matte mineralize skinfinish in deep dark, and I Just used that to contour as well and then I'm gon na go ahead and bake under my contour, so my cheeks get a little snatch and I'm gon na go ahead and fill in the top of my brows all right. So now I'm gon na go ahead and dust away all that excess powder, because I don't need that anymore and then we are gon na move on to highlights. So I need some glow on this cheekbone and I'm using the desi and Katy dose of color highlighter. This one is chasing the Sun and then for my lip, I'm gon na go ahead and line my lip with some brown lip pencil and then I lost the scene. I'M sorry guys. I lost the clip, but I will include everything that I use in the description bar down below okay. So, let's move on to the hair, I'm just blowing out the hair right now and we're gon na style it. So this is what the hair looks like. If you were to rock it straight, I love the straight look, but I feel like having something like you know: glamorous curls today, just on my hair, I'm using my Remington curling wand. I'Ve had it for years. I got it at Walmart like years ago, but I love this curling wand. So I'm just taking a little small sections of hair and I'm just wrapping it around the curling wand and holding it for about 10 to 15 seconds for it to curl. And then I decided that maybe I should do a pink girl in the front you guys, but then I was like. I don't have time to do all these pin curls. So just ignore the part where I did. The pin curl cuz, not gon na control. The whole entire thing, but I'm pretty sure it look good if I did pink girls as well. So, like I mentioned before, I'm just taking small section of hair and I'm curling it away from my face and I'm just gon na speed up this part of the video. Because, honestly, it's pretty repetitive, I'm doing the same thing over and over. So I'm just gon na go ahead and recall the front part of my hair and look at that. Curl, yes, and I wanted some volume at the top. So I go in with my got to be free spray, because this free spray, like it literally holds the curl like it, will hold them stiff okay, so I apply a bit of that at the top and that's why I get that little that little volume in The front and then I'm gon na go ahead and curl the other side as well, so I'm just curling it away from my face so taking small sections and just wrapping it around the curling one and yeah. This is pretty much the final result. I absolutely love how this look turned out. I loved how this hair and this makeup turned out. I really hope you guys enjoyed this video.
