So what is up africana fam? It'S your girl, young afrikaner, back at it again with another video today i'll, be showing you guys episode two of the love series and if you guys are not familiar with the love series, i have not seen episode one i'll leave that down below in the description Box below, but pretty much love series, i'm just gon na go ahead and promote black owned businesses as well as do different colors of pinks, purples and reds all right y'all. So today we have some fiery red going on y'all. We did purple for the last episode. So we had to go on for the red y'all so, as y'all can see it's looking very ravishing so much body, this hair is from l and m hair company. It'S a black owned company where they sell luxurious raw hair. So this here is some raw hair and, as you can see like, it took color really well and overall, i'm enjoying it y'all. So if you guys want to see how i got this color as well as how i installed this wig then keep on watching, but before you go ahead and do that if you are africana fam african og or want to become africana, fan or og, go ahead And click that subscribe button, it's good for the algorithm edge, your edges, as well as give this video a big fat thumbs up. If you're already feeling this look - and i look cute - i already know - i look cute so y'all - don't even tell me nothing, but the likes definitely do help and also let other people know out there in the world that i look cute too. Okay, so might as well just go ahead and do that before you go ahead and go into the next segment, but without further ado, if you want to see it, if you want to see what i got in the next segment then keep on watching all right. You guys i'm going to be taking my high color highlights in the color magenta. I used six tubes of this and i'm going to go ahead and pour that into my mixing bowl, i'm going to squeeze as much as i can, even though this tube is tough. As hell y'all um, but go ahead and just squeeze as much as you can out of that tube again, i use six tubes of magenta and then i'm gon na go ahead and use my 30 volume developer just to give us the base color the base color. That i want is just a really nice burgundy um just so it could kind of complement the red highlights. I'M gon na gon na that i'm gon na go ahead and do so. I'M gon na go ahead and just mix up the concoction. Until i get a nice consistency, you don't want it too, thick or too runny. So now i'm taking my bundles, i got three bundles. Two of them are 20s and one is 18 and i'm just gon na go ahead and have a plastic bag laid out on my table just to protect my table and i'm just going to go ahead and color my hair and um. I did this. I doubled the tracks just so i could um dye the hair and, like you know, the wefts aren't too long and it gets exhausting. So i'm just gon na go ahead and just use my uh dye brush and then just you know, paint on that color. You guys, and you want to make sure that you get it front and back okay, so i'm also just going to go ahead and use my paddle brushes to comb in that color. So everything is nice and saturated and we didn't miss any spots. And now i'm going to go ahead and turn that over and we are going to dye the rest of the hair, as you guys can see as you when you turn it over. You see that, like there's still some black spots, you just want to make sure that you turn it over and comb it out, so that all the color is there evenly, and i just went ahead and repeated all these steps for all three bundles one thing i Would definitely say is uh. I definitely regret doing this um on the table. I'D rather just make the wig and then dye it there all right now on to the frontal piece i went ahead and just protected my dome head and i'm going to go ahead and use my comb to detail that color. I like to do this just so. Just so, i can ensure that it gets everywhere, there's no hard spots and i just feel like the brush can't get as close to the roots as possible. So why not use a comb? You know so i'm going to go ahead and just use the comb for the roots, and then i'm going to use my dye brush to dye the rest of the hair, and this will just give me that nice, even burgundy and after i was done with this Process, i let um the frontal and the bundles sit overnight so about a good eight to 12 hours, just so that color could really be saturated and i went ahead and just washed it with shampoo, i'm not going to use conditioner, because i do plan on doing Another color and conditioner, sometimes um, you know, stops color you guys and yeah. You guys we're gon na go ahead and start the process so i'll. Let the hair air dry, of course overnight and now we're gon na go into the highlights. I already made it into a wig and now i'm going to be using the high color in red this time instead of magenta and then i'm going to use my 40 volume developer from clairol and i only used one tube for the highlights now. I already have my baby hair sectioned out just so. I know that i don't color it because i do not want extremely red baby hairs that looks kind of crazy um, but yeah you guys. I'M gon na go ahead and do sections and within each section, i'm gon na part, the hair into threes and i'm gon na intertwine between each section. So right now i'm gon na go ahead and take the two on the ends and then leave the middle piece alone. And then i'm gon na go ahead and use my die brush just to apply the dye onto the hair and for each section i take out. I'M just going to go ahead and use a foil just to protect the hair from dyeing any other hair, because i want this to be extremely precise and also just to help it incubate and keep the moisture in the hair. All right, you guys on to the next section, so remember we're intertwining. So if we did two the last time we're gon na go ahead and do one. So i parted that into three sections and now we're just gon na simply just do the middle and kind of in between sections i kind of just like left a little um section of hair in between just so that the highlights aren't too too close together. Hopefully that made sense the way i explained it, but you're going to kind of see what i'm talking about a little bit but yeah, i'm on to the middle section and i'm going to go ahead and do that middle section. These highlights are a bit on the chunkier side. I wanted my highlights to be chunky just because i didn't want them to be subtle. I wanted it to stand out and again i'm just going to go ahead and use my foil and place that right there just to protect the rest of the hair and, as i can see, i left that little section right there in between just so that the Highlights aren't too close and then i'm gon na go into my next section now. This is the section where we're doing two now so we're going to work on the outer sections of the hair. All right you guys now on to the last section: i'm gon na go ahead and do the two i left some space in between um, the other two uh. You know you guys get what i'm trying to say, but yeah i'm gon na go ahead and do the three and i'm gon na work on the two outer sections and leave the middle burgundy and we're going to dye the rest of it um. You know red, and it's just good that um, you part your hair, where you want it to be so you know where your highlights are laying at that is very imperative. That'S why i did that off camera because y'all see me parted 3, 000 times already y'all. So um yeah i'm just going to go ahead and just you know, work and dye the rest of the hair. Now, on to the other side, i went ahead and did three sections on this side overall and we're gon na do the three sections, but instead of it matching the other side, where we last highlighted at with the two we're only going to do one just because I kind of feel like that made sense. I didn't want it to be 2-2, it would have been better with you know both sides looking identical if they were middle parts, but it's not a middle part. It'S a side part and i feel, like you know, just doing identical sides. It looks a little tacky, you know, so i wanted to be a little bit different filming. So i went ahead and just did one so i worked in the middle and i went ahead and applied that red color on the middle part of the section. Now on to the second section, i'm gon na go ahead and you know weave it. Do my three sections - and this section would just be for two highlights so we're going to leave the middle burgundy and then the last section i'm going to do i'm going to leave the two sides: burgundy and dye, the middle red? Okay, i got the jest and everything okay. I explained this. I hope this was thorough enough for you guys you guys are catching on and following along all right, yeah now the last thing we're going to go ahead and work on when it comes to these highlights. I'M gon na go ahead and take out the section, the the back section of the frontal, where i parted it out just to cover the tracks and in the last track, i'm gon na combine those two together and i'm gon na go ahead and create highlights over There, so this is kind of just give the illusion that the hair all over has highlights, but it really doesn't, you know, and also too i feel like it will just kind of be dumb to you know, highlight everywhere else and not do the back. That'S kind of like counterproductive y'all, but i just went ahead and just took random pieces and made sure i left you know some burgundy in between and made the pieces different sizes just so that um, you know it meshes well, it doesn't look too uniform and doesn't Look crazy, you know so, like i think the middle part was the um. The middle highlight that i did was the biggest one and the rest of them were like small and they were different sizes. So i left this on for about two hours um, but it didn't become red enough. So what i did is, i went in with my blondor bleach and 40 volume developer, and i put it all over the highlighted spots just to get it a brighter red and left it on for about 10 minutes, and this is how it looked after i washed It and conditioned it so now on to the curls. What i'm going to go ahead and do is i'm going to go ahead and curl my hair away from my face? I love curling my hair away from my face because just gives me that vavavoom and i'm using my baby lips, titanium pro curling iron and the one and a half inch barrel size y'all, i'm just curling away from my face, as you guys can see very simple, Easy you know hold that curl make sure it's nice and cool down before you finally drop it, and i'm just gon na do do that all around the head. So and after i was done, these are the finished results of how the hair is looking. It'S nice and bouncy, and this curl definitely held itself okay, but now onto the install i'm going to go ahead and spray. My erica j hold me down adhesive. I already did my bald cap method off camera and now i'm going to go ahead and tint. My lace with my foundation, color and now i put on the wig and i cut some slits um in between the lace. Just so you know um, i don't know. I feel like this helps me better position, my wigs when i put them on and now i'm going to go ahead and just slide that back and we're going to prep for our adhesive. So now i'll be using the erica j watermelon hold me down adhesive and i'm going to be using two layers and i'm going to apply that around the perimeter of my hairline and then use my rat tail comb like the metal part, the rat tail comb. Just to smooth out that glue and like i said, i'm only going to do two layers and you want to make sure that each layer dries completely clear before you go into your next layer. So now that the second layer is completely dry, i'm going to go ahead and just bring down my lace and i'm going to position it in the spots that i want it to be at, and i usually position it in front of the glue and then go Back in with the glue to fill in any missing spots, i feel like this is the most effective way of how i do my lace front tools. It'S just a cleaner way of doing your lace, frontals and knowing exactly where you're putting your glue at. Instead of you just doing you know, educated guesses, you know all right now on to the middle section of the slits, i'm going to go ahead and use my eyebrow razor and i'm going to razor as close to the hairline as possible, and i'm going to razor It in like a jagged motion and i'm just going to go ahead and you know just go ahead and just create that hairline and then i'm gon na go in with some glue and then fill in the spots that i missed. And now i'm just using my rat tail comb and we're going to go ahead and detail. I like to call this detailing, because this is the most tedious part you don't want to mess this up at all. So take your time work in increments. You know don't over guess your lace, it's okay, i'd, rather just keep on going back in and back in until i finally get everything laid down and that's exactly what i'm doing again. I do two layers with that part as well too, and i'm going to use my rat tail comb and use the teeth of the comb just to kind of smudge that lace into the glue, as you guys can see again detailing we're gon na go back in And then just catch those little parts that i didn't catch and overall, this just gives you a very neat install as you guys can see like it's looking like scalp already, and we didn't finish melting it yet and i'm just going to go ahead and do this All around the hair line, i forgot the hairline i'm going to do this all around the hairline. Now that that's done, i'm going to go ahead and use my gossipy free spray and spray that all around the hairline just to further melt in that lace. And then i'm going to go in with my elastic band and tie that around my hair. And let that sit for about 15 minutes and we're going to go ahead and take it off as y'all could see that lace is looking melted, mommy thought come on y'all yeah! I can't tell me that's that only like no scalp, okay, but now onto the baby hairs. I'M gon na go ahead and use my eraser uh, my eyebrow razor and i'm gon na go ahead and cut them baby hairs about an inch long and then i also went ahead and plucked the baby hairs a little bit because it was a little too dense For me - and i didn't want it that dense, but now i'm gon na go in with my nairobi setting lotion and i'm gon na apply that all around the hairline and then also my baby hairs. And this just helped me like easily just scoop. My baby hairs and everything is nice and wet. So you know it's just easier to move all right, yeah and now i'm going to go ahead and take my silk wrap and i'm going to tie that around my hairline and then give it about 30 minutes or until it's dry, as you guys can see. Each time i come back, another piece of my face is gone or done, but, as you can see, this is how it's looking and i went ahead and did my makeup off camera and um i'm. This is definitely giving bed hair real, quick, but we're gon na fix that, but right now what i'm going to do is just go. I'M going to take a hot comb, not a hot comb. Why i'm going to take a hot comb, i'm going to take a paddle brush and i'm just going to go ahead and comb out those curls and, as you guys can see the layers, the curls, it's just it's giving and we're not even done yet y'all. It'S definitely giving kind of like keisha cool vibes, but you know you know. Let me not. Let me not even guess myself like that. Now i'm going to go in and just come up my baby hairs because y'all know i love myself baby hairs and i'm just going to go ahead and comb them out, make them nice and fluffy and now to really finish up the look and just give it A nice seamless, look, i'm going to go ahead and use my hot comb just to get rid of any creases that the silk wrap had left and, like i said this just gives it like uh like it just makes it look so much cleaner. It really takes your look from zero to a thousand, and last but not least, i'm gon na go ahead and use my concealer just to define that part and uh. It just looks like scalp y'all like it came out, so amazing and i'm super super super happy of how this came out. This actually came out up better than i expected it to, and i went in with some spritz and, like my baby, hair brushes to kind of brush my baby hairs, and that was the ending y'all anyways. I hope you guys enjoyed this video. Like comment subscribe to. My channel, if you have not go ahead - and i don't know - get this video to like 5 000 likes y'all - i'm you know i'm feeling this. I hope you guys are feeling this too and yeah. You guys stay tuned for episode, 3 of the love series i'll catch you guys later,
