Hi everybody welcome back to toss away closet. This is TAS today we're going to take a look at the brand-new style release by Raquel Welch new for spring 2019. This one is called on point and it's in the color pale golden honey, which is our L 1688. So, just a little bit of disclaimer here I did receive this style by hair. You wear for my review today. I have not altered or modified this way. The only thing I did was take it out of the box. I shook it out a little bit and I did spring that part away from the cap. Just a tad. I'M going to report to you objectively about what I noticed on this sample piece that I have, but please note that sometimes there can be some differences among wigs of the same style. Onpoint is a beautiful angled, sleek bob cut design. It'S a part of the rekha welched Signature Collection and that collection just seems to be of utmost quality. I'M actually a really big fan of this color pale golden honey, RL, 1688 you're going to see like a medium honey, blonde, there's some deeper honey and they are almost a little bit of sandy brown and then we're you've got some, maybe pale ash blonde highlighting. So I'm not sure if it's coming across on the camera is very ashy, but I really do see a lot of beautiful neutral tones in this, so you don't yet have any of the specs and dimensions of this style. Yet so I kind of went by my own measurements and observations. It looks like you're gon na have about a nine inch layer here right around the face and then in the back, all in all it's about 12 inches, but you've got a little bit of an undercut nape at about four inches. So it's a steeply angled bob and then I measured it from my hairline down to the tip of the longest piece here on the side and that's about 13 to 14 inches. That'S gon na hit right about the collarbone, I would say on most people. So there are some really unique and kind of new and different features about this wig style and it didn't occur to me immediately because I read nothing about it. But what's kind of cool about this is that it hasn't full temple to Temple lace-front. But it has a center monofilament parting space, which i think is really unique and will probably accommodate a lot more preferences and tastes out there. You can get a nice wide parting space with it and you can generally just move the hair around to your desired part. I think that's really smart on their end. Now, typically, I like a left of center part. Maybe it's because they all came that way and that's what I was expecting with this style. But the lace front is absolutely gorgeous. Let'S take a look, it just kind of melts right into that forehead. It'S seamless it's it's very! The knots are very fine and it's very well done the material that they use blends in so invisibly and then that parting space, then is a little more densely threaded. So, let's talk about the shape of this style. I think that as a woman gets older, sometimes we need a little bit of layering around the face to kind of soften and blur and flatter, but on this straight sleek Bob, I really feel like you're. Getting. All of that is an extremely flattering bob from the front. What you're going to see is that nine inch layer, kind of coils and contours off of that lace front and wraps around the face and just kind of gathers right there below the chin and then on the side layers. You'Ve got this raisered effect, which really gives you the illusion that there's a lot going on there, so that kind of covers and flatters and in the back then you've got this probably 10 to 12 inch crown layer where it meets a 4 inch knee. And then it's deeply angled down into that longest side layer. Now, we've all seen bob cuts like this. I can probably name at least one from every single brand, and what I like to do is point out what the differences might be so on this one. On OnPoint, I love the lace, the raisered ends. I think that's a beautiful, modern touch. I love how it jumps off of the lace front there into a beautiful contour, which allows for a little bit of lift. I also like how, instead of going from a very short bevel back down into a very, very long side in front the beveling in the back, is more reasonable, so without being extremely dramatic you're still getting that beautiful, angled effect, there's very limited. Permit ease on this style, you're gon na find a thin layer right around the monopark crown and just generally dispersed throughout the cap. There'S no areas that have any thick pillowy permit ease on this style. It'S got a very nice slim profile to it, and that's why I love this little contour here at the top, because it does allow me a little bit of lift for my face shape without getting into a big round. Poofy bob on point, as well as the other styles, in that brand new Signature Collection are made from the true-to-life fiber by Raquel Welch, which are heat friendly, and I know some of you like the heat friendly fiber. Some of you don't, and so my job isn't to judge the fiber, but just to give you an objective review of the fiber as well as just let you know it is sweet friendly so that you can decide based on your own experiences. I personally love heat friendly fiber because it feels very velvety to the touch it feels like there might be a little bit of a cuticle there. It feels like human hair to me after I've experienced a human hair wig, some of the downsides of the heat friendly fibers, there's a little more maintenance involved, and they might not last as long now on this particular style with OnPoint. I really like it because you don't have a nape to be concerned with with the tangling, so this nape is very practical in the back and it's not going to drag the clothing like it would on a longer nape style. The density is an oven, average density. It doesn't feel heavy or thick. Each fiber is of a nice fine dinner. It'S got beautiful movement, so well, go ahead and do a full spin and a walk for you so that you can see the movement of the hair and also the scale of the length and style on me. Here'S a look at the inside of the cap for OnPoint, I'm, like I said it's a beautifully constructed cap. There'S some unique features to it. So what you'll notice first is that a lace front and a center monofilament part that's a little bit different and that parting space is about an inch to an inch and a half. So you can move it around as you wish, and the fact that there's a little bit of rose lace here and ample permit ease, I feel, like you, have maximum parting potential on this style. You'Ll notice that the lace front does extend back into the ear tab. Quite a bit now this is part of their memory. Cap series and you'll see silicone on the elastic that holds the West together. Velvet closed ear, tabs velvet closed nape as well as Velcro adjusters, there's, actually a lot of stretch involved with this cap. It'S meant to fit an average circumference right out-of-the-box. I did have to cinch it in considerably to accommodate a petite average circumference. So with my styling segments, I always like to give you an idea of how to work with your wigs right out of the box just to kind of make them yours and customize it to your tastes and preferences. The other purpose of a styling segment is just so that you can see how these fibers move and react to under manipulation, see how my little readers on here just to show you that it's very easy to wear your glasses with this style. It'S very limited permit ease on this cap. It is a center part, so we can kind of move that around as we wish. I did also notice that if I want to go beyond the the parting space of that monofilament, it really is nicely obscured by that by a little bit of permit ease and some Rosalie's there at the base of the cab. So this is more of a Center. Just right of center part now, if I wanted to go over a little bit more to the right, I could do without any problem. If I said it's very nice and if you, if you want to go with the wide part, I think you absolutely could, because you have that lace front, that really nice extended lace front to work with. So if I wanted to go more to the left, wouldn't it wouldn't take much time at all to kind of train that into place. This has been a review of the brand-new Raquel Welch on point in the color pale golden honey. See you next time on tasmad closet, you

Atypical60: That shade is gorgeous on you! I love On Point so much that I ordered a second one!

Liz Lyons: Finally, they solved the mono-part position issue. I part my hair on the right, so this would be great for me. The way you parted it just slightly right of center, eliminates the drawbacks of a dead center part that makes any facial asymmetry more obvious. I am guessing not having a full mono top means it is cooler and more affordable. Not sure about that long section in the front -- I would be tempted to trim it off (probably shows I am not edgy, lol). Great lace front. And, that color is just exquisite -- so subtly varied. I think there is a style like this from Rene of Paris, but RW has better quality overall. I sure hope Jon Renau follows this trend of the center mono-part. xoxo

Sally Smack: I've been wanting a RW wig forever, since I love the way they do their lace fronts and realistic-looking mono parts. But I'm very fussy about the cuts I'll wear. When I saw this beautiful A-line bob on you, I nearly jumped for joy ... until I realized that it had a center part. I've noticed this trend lately, and it is beyond disappointing to me. A lot of otherwise exciting new cuts are being ruined─as far as I'm concerned─by this limiting parting option. You can totally pull off this look thanks to your delicate facial features, but for us regular people, center parts are rarely flattering, no matter how much we try to obscure what is really going on at the front of the hairline. So my RW wig search continues.

Kim S.: I absolutely love this style. I was actually contemplating my next Kai purchase but I think this might be an even better option - that longer lob is so flattering ❤️

Stephanie Joyce: This is my kind of hair I love this Taz!! I think I could do good with this one care wise since it’s straight. Such a cool unique style What a fabulous cap!!!!!

Eden Seven: I can see why the wig company asked you to review the wig. You look good in all your wigs.

Suz: Oh wow Taz, I love it! The style is amazing as is the colour, another one added to 'dream' list :)) Hugs my sweet friend xoxo

J Smith: Taz: very informative review for "on point".. Great style and color. Looks fab on you.

Wig Vibes with Chris: LOVE that you can manipulate the part!! And I agree w/the well done nape area & this style not having such a dramatic “short to long”...much better suited for us “wiser” ladies. Another GREAT review Taz, thank you

Marie Carlson: OH MY! I love my Jon Renau “Mena”! Now I want to try this one in this color ! Looks beautiful on you!!!

Marlene Fab & Glam Over 50: Gorgeous!!!! Absolutely beautiful!!!! I want this one!!!! Thanks, Taz! xo

Dan C: Beautiful style! I can't wear center parts. It drags my face down and ages me. My fav RW style Camera Ready, now discontinued, was often sparse in the monopart area exposing the seams. Hairuwear didn't put enough hair in the monopart, so I switched brands and styles. I hope they have improved that feature.

Timatha: Thanks for reviewing On Point.... I just purchased it in two colors before I saw your video. You reviewed one of the colors I ordered. And it looks so great on you, I wanted to see the wig without the rooted colors because I am a very light blonde. Thanks for a great video!

Deborah Luongo: Can you put on look fantastic Taz. I have seen this recently and I thought it was a really good looking wig! After seeing it on you and you demonstrating the different ways to use it I am convinced this is a winner!

Sharlene Tull: Love this on you!!! I am fixing to buy this from a wig sister if mine in shaded biscuit, my favorite color! But the other shaded I Love is the one you showed!! Thanks for your tips!

Wear Wigs with Me: Oh how cute! I really like how it curves around your face. RW has some cute Spring styles coming out!

Jackie Marsh: Wow!! Taz!! So natural looking I love this one!! You look Beautiful in her!! I'm going to have to check this one out!! Thank you as always for a Fantastic review!! Love! XOXOX!

Autumn Storm: You look gorgeous in her.. Iv noticed in my two wigs the front lace shows the knots quite a bit. Should I order a color with some highlights around the face. The two colors I own are dark coffee & the other is a dark brown. I do not look good in Carmel kiss. My natural color is black. I look terrible in light colors. Thank you for another wig review have a beautiful blessed day Taz.

Everything Permanent Makeup by Terry Lively: My absolute favorite wig. Now I want it in different colors !

Jayne Read: This looks stunning on you!

Janny Lee: Love it! Looks great on you! Also love your top? Could you tell me where you got it?

Staci Heart: I bought this wig from my favorite wig shop. I’m super disappointed. The cap is huge and when I have it on and rub my hand across it fells all bumpy, I can pinch almost an inch of wefting. This is after the owner of the wig store altered it to fit better. Now I can’t even return it. I love pretty much everything else about it. The color is perfect. (Shaded cappuccino) Love that it’s doesn’t have that streak of bold highlights in the front. I don’t hate the center part. Ugh, why is it so big? I have an average head size. Looks amazing on you!

Michele KT: Very pretty! Very chic! One of my favorite colors.

Diane R-D: Loved the way the clip enhanced the style!

Amy Rutherford-Close: Gorge!! Oh my, I need this one!

Cathy Woodill: Taz, I love this look! It’s very cute and sexy. My favorite color is Shaded Bisque, but this color on you is really awesome! It’s a very pretty color and the style that I’ll be checking out. Thanks Cathy

Martha Romero: Love this style!! Looks nice on you!

Jasmine Moon: Such a wonderful lace front, and I like that center part on you!

DA Fuzz: Wow looks great on you!

Cassandra K: Love this one! Thanks

Nani Womack: So cute on you! I love the style but it seems bit to long on the sides. You are so luck You can wear any style. You go girl❤️

chovava bateman: Great review Taz. I do have some RW wigs, but it seems that they are going to all HD fibers which don't last a long as you know. I personally think it's a business decision...wigs don't last as long so customers will have to buy replacements much sooner. Also, seems that RW is having some creative problems which they "solved" by creating another bob with a few differences. The spring releases so far, with all brands , is a bit of a yawn. I appreciate your honest and objective reviews.

Monika's Beauty & Lifestyle: Omg that is beautiful. I love it,

Kathy Webb: Love, love it.

Bobo 0722: Very cute on you! This might just be my summer wig :)

Cathy Woodill: I thought about getting this Wig I’ve never looked at that color it’s very pretty I am usually the shaded bisque

S H: Love it!! Thanks!

Leeanne Barr: That is totally a style I love, but honestly, do you feel those fibers feel dirty after just a little manipulation? I bought Simmer and really unhappy, but mostly with the color I chose. I am so tempted by this softer than Taylor bob, but fearful of the texture. In the wind, doesnt it just stick to itself? and not blow around? Maybe my Simmer was the bad exception??? Love to know your opinion!!!! Thanks!!! Love love love your reviews!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Gin Gin: Hi Taz. Will u be doing a video of the new colour Iced sweet cream on the on point? Or longer style? Thanks

golfergal: I just got this as my very first "wig" other than costume or Amazon wigs...It's so pretty...but I'm thinking of having bangs put into it. Is that something that can be done on these wigs?

Rita: Just gorgeous.

Sheilagh Giddings: You look fabulous in this wig xxx

lnzinorbit lnzinorbit: Excellent Review!

Brian D.: I love this wig, I wonder how it would look on a man, I always heard for a man to wear a women's wig they have to hide the hairline or have bangs

Kathleen: Taz do you know of any wig like this that has bangs or could this one be cut with bangs as I love it. Btw I think you probably make any wig look pretty fab.

Cindy E: The wig is beautiful. Can I ask what the reading glasses are that you're wearing in this video. They are very attractive on you

Hey, it's Kay!: Would you say this is pretty comparable to Jon Reneau Marion?

lnzinorbit lnzinorbit: ❤❤❤❤

Kari Lynn: If this was wavy or semi curly what wig would say it would be? Love the longer lengths in front and shorter in back like this. Can you help and suggest one?

Cheryl Scott: I am continually unable to stay with your website. I keep getting switched somehow???? Thanks taz

MichelePearl: How did the cap fit? Was it big?

SunyFria VSG: So excited for mine

romantic horror: Is it just me or is this wig cut asymetrically? It looks longer on the left side.

Safiya Abdrahman: the front part is unsewn in months you have to sew that with invisible thread being new before it breaks those wigs have a trick to not last but I found a trick and they last for years without breaking that fragile fabric you have to sew it ahead of the market trick ready that they want us to buy new wig every 6 months as if we were banks

Jenni Woods: I have a petite size head, would Rachel Welsh average cap fit ?

Cindy E: It might be marked on the inside of the temple

Deborah Luongo: And one last comment I don't think there is a wig out there that does not look good on you. :-)

Susan Thornburg: Tell us where we can buy this wig‼️

Cindy E: Do you remember the name of them?
