Sky is a cute, flippy little thing. It's very sweet, a bit like Meg Ryan back in the day. So easy to wear - just grab, shake gently, put on, and go! This has been a very popular synthetic wig for its quality, style, and low price since 2007. A definite customer favorite.

Maple Sugar-R has a light golden-amber brown base with soft butterscotch blonde highlights and medium brown roots.

Her hair consists of lightweight, silky synthetic fibers.

Hi there wig lover.. This is Heather from cysterwigs.com, and today I'm bringing you a re-review of a customer, favorite wig that always gets rave reviews.. This one is Sky by Noriko and the color on this particular Sky is Maple Sugar-R, which I'll explain in just a second.. If you'll recall, I actually reviewed this wig about a year ago in the color, Copper Glaze, and that color is also very, very, very pretty.. I wanted to review it again since I had the opportunity. A customer purchased this in this really gorgeous color and it's one that doesn't really get reviewed a lot. So I figured that I could kill two birds with one stone and this customer was very nice in letting me do so.. So thank you for that.. This wig is very, very cute.. It'S a very short, not pixie. It'S a shag., It's a very short shag though.. It gets compared a lot to like Meg Ryan type. Haircuts, though I will say that Meg Ryan's haircut is just a smidge, shorter and just a tad messier., Though I'm sure you could probably mess this up sufficiently to get that effect. If you really wanted too., It has a heavily permatease top like most of the Noriko non-monofilament wigs, and so you can actually get a lot of body out of this. If you wanted too., I think it looks cute either way.. It has very, very pretty bangs here.. The bang on this one is quite manageable and it has a slight curl to it. So that way it doesn't just droop right in your face.. It has a little bit of here. If I turn to the side, you can see what I mean has a little bit of body built in.. The sides on this are very, very flattering.. It has a lot of this really pretty face: framing layering going on. And just like most shags in the back. It sort of floops and flairs and has a lot of razored ends., It's very, very cool.. This is a very good everyday style that looks great on basically every face, shape., It's a very, very popular style., And to that end I definitely want to mention that don't be surprised if, when you order this wig, it happens to be on back order., The most Popular colors in this wig frequently sell out., And especially during certain times of the year like right before Easter. There was a huge rush on wigs because people want nice hair to go to church in and because of that, this color was actually on back order. For almost a month before this customer actually got it. And she was still nice enough to. Let me review it. So people are awesome., (, laughs, ), But this color is gorgeous. Often times when people ask me which light browns from the Noriko line. Do I actually recommend to people? You know the rooted shades? My two favorites are this one, which is the Maple Sugar and Mochaccino-R., And I actually reviewed Claire in Mochaccino-R about a week ago and so I'll probably be posting these roughly around the same time period. So that way, you can kinda compare and contrast the two light brown shades.. The Mochaccino does have a little bit of a golden tint to it, but it is a little lighter than this, and this doesn't have so much of the gold in it, as it has a hint of auburn., And you can kinda pick that up when I dip. My head into the sunlight here that it does have a hint of auburn throughout with these really beautiful blonde highlights., So this is overall a warmer light brown shade than the Mochaccino-R, and it's a very, very pretty color.. This is a really lightweight wig.. It'S only two and a half ounces., Like I said great everyday style. People really really love this wig., And I want to also point out that, like most Noriko wigs, I find this particular wig to be kind of tight.. But the great thing about their non-monofilament wigs is that they might be tight on at first, especially if you have a largish head like I do. I mean. I actually don't own any large capped wigs.. All of my wigs are technically average caps. And that's just because I'm right in that gray area in between an average and a large cap size, I'm not a true large cap. Size. I've got a 23 and a half inch circumference, which, by some measurements, would put me in a large cap, but large cap sizes never tend to work out that great for me, because you know they tend to be too big on me sometimes.. What I do is I'll wear something like this for about a week and within that time frame this will loosen up sufficiently that it is no longer tight. If you buy. One of these just know that you might have that issue., But if you have a petite head, if you adjust this in all the way in the back, this should fit. Alright, you shouldn't have any problems with it because they are made to fit a little small. And if you have an average sized head, you're golden., (, laughs, ) You're not going to have any problems with these Noriko caps.. Let me go ahead and turn to the side so that you can get a look. And I will keep trying to dip my head into the sunshine. So that way, you can get a look at the color and some of the layering in the wig in this brighter light., And this will give you that perspective from two different lighting schemes. So that way, you can see what this looks like in natural lighting, as well as in indoor lighting scenarios.. When I lean back that's more of an indoor lighting sort of deal. - And you can part this wig anyway, you want, though I would suggest avoiding the center part, because it does have permatease all throughout this top portion of the cap, which I'll show you. When I turn it inside out., Basically anywhere, you part it. It'S gon na look the same., And here is what the back looks. Like., You don't get a whole lot of movement and that's just because the back is so short. Has lots and lots and lots of texture back here. A good amount of coverage.. The cap isn't terribly stretchy, but it does have a nape. That'S long enough that it will give you very nice coverage and, as you can kind of see, it does kind of want to flip out a little bit here at the bottom., And you can play with that as much as you want.. The back is really really textured on this wig and that's very, very pretty., As are the sides., So you can actually play with this quite a bit and make all kinds of fun shapes with the back, and it will look really really super cute basically., No matter How messy you decide to make it. I'm gon na go ahead and take Sky off, so you can take a look at what the cap constructions like. All of this top part of the wig, the entire top portion. Here, where this lace is that's all permatease. All of it., So this is gon na - have a lot of body at the top.. If I turn it inside out, you can actually see the permatease. Don't be alarmed by that.. The permatease can actually be your friend as long as you're, alright with permatease, because permatease helps obscure the wefting.. So if people are looking right down at the top of your head, they are not going to see through to the tracks of hair.. The permatease also gives a lot of body to the style and even though it's called permatease, it does tend to stop being, quite so poofy after about a month of all day, everyday wear.. So, just so you're aware of that. - And this will really give you a look at how gorgeous this color is. Very, very pretty warm light brown with like a hint of strawberry in it or maybe even a butterscotch, and it has these golden blonde highlights on top.. So, very, very pretty color.. Just I love this color. Worth the wait. I would say.. I hope my customer feels the same way: too. Just a really gorgeous color.. This does have adjustable tabs in this case. It'S already let all the way out ,'cause. I have a huge head and no felt at the nape.. There is a little bit of felt here at the hairline., But there isn't any felt here on the ear tabs. Either. Ear tabs are adjustable, so you should be able to get them to cover fairly well. Here and I'll show you how well it covers when I put it back on., But here up close, you can see some of the texture in the back of the wig and on the side. So you can see all these razored ends just super super cute and I tried to point that out as much as I could in the original review. But now that I have a better camera, you can actually see all the individual hairs, so awesome. (, laughs, ) But yeah. This is a super super cute grab and go shake and wear sort of wig.. So let me go ahead and put this right back. On. And just match the hairline up to your own., Make sure that the ear tabs are even on both sides. And even though it's tight, it went on pretty quickly, as you can tell. I didn't really have to struggle with it. And it's not so tight that it hurts it's just snug, which is actually kind of close to ideal.. It needs to be a little looser for me to be perfect, but in about a week of wear, this wig will be awesome. Great little summer style, very cool, very breezy.. I really love this wig. And it's super super popular.. So let me go ahead and show you the tag while I've got it. Here., Like I said before, this is Sky by Noriko in the color Maple Sugar-R., And this is a fun fabulous little wig.. Now, if you have any questions about the availability of your favorite shade prior to ordering go ahead and shoot me an email. And that's just heather @ cysterwigs.com, remember that's Cysterwigs with a C kind of like polycystic ovaries syndrome, because that's really the kind of niche that I'M sort of catering to., Though I'm willing to help anybody out with their wig problems., But if you ever wondered why I call it Cysterwigs it's because of that. It'S because PCOS causes hair loss. And that's what I got: ( laughs ) Again. This is Sky by Noriko in Maple Sugar-R.. Thank you for watching and I hope you have a great afternoon. Bye, bye,

Sandra Reynaldo: I love your videos. I actually love two more things: your customer service and your cat "video bombing" habit. Did you notice her shadow on the upper right corner? She always manages to be on your videos. And I love it.

southernlight6: Pretty. Can't wait to see the Claire in Mochaccino !   I am so happy to be able to see the colors 'in person'.

Sharon Clement: I just ordered it, New wig wearer and cannot wait. I so learn so much from your videos, thank you

Anne S: The front lace is showing should I trim it? I have very long thick hair and just wanted to try a wig for a different look. It can be challenging getting all my natural hair under the wig, but if I could get a natural look I would cut my hair up to my shoulders to accommodate.

sweatintotheoldies: I'd love to see baby pictures of you!

D Corbitt: I am still looking for a 'men's style that I feel good in... Love to watch you try on different styles...from taking existing wig iff to putting the new one on, adjusting the dides....I forget and go straight for the forehead... then remember..then mess up the adhesive...Plus my glue doesn't hold in the Back! in Home Depot..and felt the base nape up under the obsiptical bone, not on my neck where the trimmed hairs are...HELP!!! PLUS MY wig band slowly slips to my crowd...and yes the nap is the right direction. I need velcro glued to my neck!

Wiggin'Out: It would be great if you could put the two wigs together so we can see the difference in color from Moccachino and Maple Sugar.  My monitor just doesn't show those color squares in a true light and I'm wanting to try a brown with blonde highlights for winter instead of Shaded Praline or Creamy Toffee that I buy now.  Or can you suggest a darker brown or reddish brown with blonde streaks?  Thanks!

D Corbitt: Very Cute wig...could not see the construction because of the explaination caption blocked the focal point..Did as fantastic job of showing the wigs features, love the back..yes...Shag, my era..good styles come back.

Ponte Peluca: I'm not sure if you're going to read this or not, but you are absolutely adorable. The review is outstanding. I just purchased Sky and can't wait to receive it.

Anne S: I have this wig, (my first wig, btw,) it is very tight and the front has a wiggly look at the part and it is shiny HELP

Sunday Sommers: I am having trouble getting past the shine on wigs. I have a Noriko and a Raquel Welch. They look fine in daylight, but when I see them in outdoor and artificial light they look really fake. What to do?

Jill Burton: Cute wig, but too much hair on top.
