Hey everybody, so today's video is going to be a little bit different. I haven't done anything like this before I'm kind of scared, hmm. So today's video is testing Amazon, cheap wicks, but I only bought two because I didn't want to spend like 40 pounds on wigs. So the weeks that I bought are what's in it, it's in a hair net right now, so it's a little bit with it was supposed to be a long curly dark brown wig, but it's black and I assumed it was lace front and it's not. I also bought this pink one. Oh this site also thought was lace front, but it's not so just got to synthetic cheap wigs. I love that so I'm going to be trying them on and then I'm going to try and make it look as natural as I possibly can, and I'll obviously be filming that and showing you how I do it if it turns out okay, I don't I don't Know how this is going to go anyway, I'm dying to test out this pink one. So let me have a try I'll insert the picture of what they're supposed to look like here and then, when I try them on I'll, do a side-by-side of what it was supposed to look like and then how I actually looks like I might be pleasantly surprised. Might look amazing, but we shall see it's got darker roots. The only thing about this is that the darker bit here is only the first layer. So if you look underneath it from the second one in the second row, it's literally just pink, much more. You can really tell, but if I brush it like that, it's exposed it's just the pink underneath it. It'S just look that natural, but what you got ta do right: let's try this bad boy on okay, not the most natural wig I've ever seen. It'S not bad! It'S just really fake! It'S! It'S not bad! It'S just really really fake! Look! Look at look at that from here. It looks okay, but it's just as soon as you see that took part. It'S just not it's just not working for me. Here'S a side-by-side of what I thought I bought and what actually came in the mail. I thought it was gon na be a little truffle. It was gon na be like this short. It feels really nice there's a lot of hair. It doesn't feel so fake and it doesn't look at that shiny, like other synthetic wigs. Do it's not bad, but it just needs a little bit of work doing to it. Okay, so with this one, I'm going to pluck out some of the hair in the parting to make it thicker, because this is not natural at all and also at the very front here, when you put the wig on, you can invest in these he'll that it Is fake because it's almost got like a bump at the front, it doesn't lay flat on your head. So what that is there's a bit of like, I think it's like silicone, that's folded under which is creating that roundness at the front. So I'm going to try and cut that out and then it should be. Okay, let's just see how this goes. First guys get some tweezers and make this part in a lot thicker, so I'm just going to be plucking out some hairs. So this is what I have so far a lot better than what it originally was and to make it even thinner at the top, because this is still way too full. I'M going to take. I'M gon na take the first layer or just move that over to the side and I'm going to keep plucking underneath that, so it makes it look good. I don't know why I look so orange as you can see here. That was the bit that I was talking about, which was folded and which was creating a bump. So it was like that, if you can see it was like that, but I've just unfolded it. It'S making like that, and now we're going to pluck away the hair. That'S on here that's much still folded underneath and then cut this off. So hopefully you'll be he'll, look natural, okay! So so this is what I have so far. You zoom you in so that is what it looks like so far, I'm now going to just cut this off and I'll put it on and see what it looks like. Okay, so so just cut it off, and it looks like that already I can tell it's a lot better. Now we're going to get some concealer and just a very thin straight brush, I'm just going to go over the part in with the concealer to make it more natural. Let'S try this on and see what it looks like now and if I need to do any changes and improvements, I think the roots at the top are dark enough. Some might just get some brown eyeshadow and darken that up see it's looking more natural. Now it's looking more natural, so now I think I'm just gon na darken up the roots and I'll see what else I can do. Okay. So let me just tell you what I did, because I've got a little bit carried away and kind of did everything. So I darken the roots doing this. I used mascara, which is kind of strange, and it feels a bit stiff and kind of sticky, but it worked so I use mascara blended it out with a brush. I plucked away at the front bit to make it more. Like you know, I mean I glued it down and then I try to blend the same color as my head to D to the thing so now this is what it looks like. I try to cut baby hairs in, but it just wouldn't it would not do it. It kept going like up and sideways. That'S why it looks not so natural, but I think this is as natural as I'm going to get it. So let me know what you think this is better than before, so this is what it looks like close-up, so you try to blend the colors together there. Obviously, I'm only going to use this for photos and probably won't wear it out, because it is very obvious that more in a wig it looks like that, so here's a side by side of before and the after. So this is the end result. This is what the hair looks like, so the Sun is going down ever so fast, which means, I don't think I'll have time to do the other wig. Chris Hubley: The best way to do wig roots is with a Sharpie or other permanent marker, then you can blend it in with rubbing alcohol on a brush

I bought the same one and did a little investigation of my own, which revealed that the actual company selling those impressive wigs was having that very problem of cheap manufacturers selling really cheap wigs using the beautiful images from said high profile company. If that makes sense.

Christine Green: Since your hair is dark, you can create baby hairs with your hair with the dark roots of the wig. I've seen a girl pull out hairs from all around the top and sides of her hair to create a more natural look.
