Hey everybody welcome back to tatha's wig closet at wig studio, one i'm going to present a style that i have not seen in quite a few years. This is noriko's jackson. I'M presenting it today also to show you this beautiful medium brunette called iced, mocha r. A look at the full review and color coming up. I purchased this style with my own funds from wig studio, one. We invite you to shop at wig studio, one expand the description box below you'll find a link to the main store, as well as this product, where you can check out more details and prices. If you have any questions about this style or any other reach out to support wigstudio1.com they're, always ready to help jackson is just quintessential noriko, it's been around a long time, it's one of their most popular styles. It just really reflects noriko's uh main niche in the market, which is a shaggy style, lots of layering, a traditional cap and always beautiful fiber, but let's first of all get into this color iced mocha r. I'M really happy to be able to present you with a medium brunette today. So iced mocha r starts with a medium brown and that brown is more ashy in tone and then it's heavily highlighted with a light honey blonde. Now those honey blonde can be a little bit chunky in places, especially on the top and around the face, but you'll see them blended throughout the style. Noriko has some amazing colors. I really feel like their their color palette is really well done. There'S multiple layers of colors you'll see lots of different tones that go in to make up all of the colors. Now this particular one is rooted as well, so you'll see a dark brown root and because this is a medium brown that transition from the root to the color, very, very subtle and natural. So all of this beautiful layering really goes into the most flattering. Look, i feel like this is a good style for just about any face shape that first layer is going to be about 6.8 inches and it kind of gently feathers back into the style, but it just gently frames the face and it kind of catches up with Some of the other layering here to make a really flattering look now. Overall, this is about 14 inches from the crown to the tip of the hair in the back and then there's multiple layers here on the side and additional layers in the back as well. It weighs about 4.2 ounces and has a basic cap or a traditional cap. So i'm going to show you the cap here. In just a moment. It seems like when you've seen one noriko cap, you've kind of seen them all in terms of how they're constructed a noriko cap is very hardy cap, it's meant to go the long haul it they use thick, durable materials. It feels very secure on the head. In most cases - and i just feel like the quality of construction - is very consistent and predictable with the noriko caps. So, with this basic cap, you're not going to get any lace, you're not going to get any monofilament, that's going to help to keep the price point down. As of the date of this filming, i think it was around 170 179 retail for this style, and most retailers will offer a 30 discount. If you use the code beautiful you at uh check out at wig studio, one they'll offer you a 30 discount on all of the noriko styles and more there's another thing that noriko is very famous for, and that is the shape and the profile of their wigs. Mostly supported by a lot of permatease, so on jackson, you're going to find a lot of permatease all over this cap, it's meant to support the style. Some people are averse to lots of permatease, so this will be a style that you really want to consider before you buy there's a lot of permatease here on the top just a thick pillowy presence of permatease throughout the top of the style quite a bit right. There at just behind the crown that creates a little bit of bump in profile, a beautiful silhouette and you'll find lots of permatease right here at the temple, just above the ear tab um at the back and at the nape on this style. I recommend going with more of a darker color or a rooted color to help obscure the perm, the look of permatease from the top. So anytime you get a permatease top. You always run the risk of having a little nastiness in the part. There'S a lot you can do about this, so the first thing - and the obvious thing you can do is to dirty up that part a little bit. You don't want it too perfect. Just a straight line back to the crown might reveal some of that permatease. I think it's really well done on this color. Of course it is rooted and i'm not getting any sense of looking down into a nasty part. The other thing that permatease is going to do is it's going to spring up those fibers, okay and by the fibers being sprung up a little bit. It also helps to hide that permatease layer on the top. So let's talk about the noriko fiber noriko fibers tend to be very hardy fibers now on this particular piece compared to what i remember of my jackson several years ago, this one this one feels like it has a a drier finer fiber than what i was used To but noriko fibers, typically last and they're, not heat friendly. The only trouble that i have with these fibers on a straight style, a longer straight style, is that they get stringy very, very quickly. A straight style like this on jackson, you're, probably going to have to have a brush in your handbag and take it out and go through it several times a day just to relieve it of the really severe stringiness. Now, if you're working with a side, part you're, probably going to have issues with the hair flopping um. So if you work with a side part here that hair, when the hair kind of wants to come straight down, so they'll be it'll. Take quite a bit of training to keep that out of your eyes, so all i did was shook it out and i made my part more or less in the middle. I divided the front pieces a little unevenly, but pretty much through right down the middle on the top. Sometimes you have to experiment to determine what is going to be the easiest way to keep the hair out of your eyes in terms of density. I think it has a nice medium density. It looks like a lot of hair. Doesn'T it on jackson, but really that's because of all of this permatease kind of supporting what hair is here. Finer fibers, medium density, lots of permatease. I almost feel like this might be a little overwhelming for me. The amount of volume that is there on such a longer style on a short style, i'm good with volume, but we start to get volume all over on a longer style. It starts to overwhelm my features pretty quickly. I know so many of you have probably experienced jackson. This may even be one of the staples that you have in your wig collection. If you own a jackson and have something to share, please comment below. We would love to hear from you on your experience with jackson by noriko, so a quick look inside of the cap for noriko's jackson, it's a standard cap by noriko, so you're going to find a rose net or rose lace on the top that houses. All of that permatease and that extends all the way around the full crown and halfway down to the temple, there's a little hidden weft there at the front and a closed rose, laced, ear, tab, bra, strap type adjusters and on this one, just a standard nape. There'S plenty of wefting what i've noticed on noriko styles is that they're pretty much average right out of the box. Noriko styles tend to adapt to your circumference and measurements pretty easily over time. They seem to be a little tight, but loosen up over time for styling. For jackson, i think it's beautiful just left down it's very casual, there's a lot you can do with it. I simply took it out of the box, gave it a shake, arranged it and found a parting space that kept the hair out of my eyes with glasses. I feel like the uh, the glasses arms would be best served slipped underneath the ear tab or into a weft to hold them into place. There'S a lot of permatease right there at the ear tab. So i'm just going to mess around with this hair a little bit see how we can part it see how much volume we can get and maybe come up with some different styles thanks so much for stopping by for a look at noriko's jackson in the color Iced mocha r see you next time on tesla's wig closet at wig studio, one you

Sheila Keilty: Oh, Jackson! One of my all time faves!! Total Jennifer Anniston! ****One secret of the Jackson is the top of the cap center hairline tab!! There is a wire built into the cap like on the ear tabs. It lives dead center on the hairline of the cap. Put your thumb under the center and pinch the cap to find it. From it you can lift it up or curve it down to create a swoop to have the hair not go in your eyes check it out!!

Maureen Christine: In case you need to hear it again- you are amazing! your reviews offer guidance and inspiration, honesty and authenticity. You are one of a kind, a gem, and so valuable in this space. We see you Taz, we are grateful, & we believe in you

Suzanne Towns: Hey Taz! Thanks for an updated review of Jackson. I purchased mine about 4 yrs ago and love it. It does have a lot of permatease, but it needed it to support the style. I find that the new version of Jackson isn’t the same. They changed it up now to look more like Avery. JMHO, but it seems like they have added so many layers to it and have thinned out the bottom so much that it’s not the same style anymore. I’m grateful that mine has stood up to the test of time. My Jackson is a great throw on and go wig. I’m almost afraid to wear it too often now as I know I won’t be able to replace it now and get everything I loved the most about the original style. Just my two cents worth. ‍♀️

Valli S: I wore Jackson for a number of years. It is a beautiful wig. Everyone loved this style and there were compliments galore! Thanks, Taz. Noriko is a real value.

Christie W.: I'd first like to say that in my 35 years of wearing wigs....I've tried all brands....and hands down Noriko is the best fibers out there. They are the ONLY wig brand I have found with longer styles that never tangle and do not break down. I DO wish they'd revamp their machine cap to be not so thick and bulky. I have Jackson in Auburn Sugar-R...my most favorite wig color of any brand out there. I wish I could order all my wigs in that color. I love Jackson despite the permatese issues. My favorite is the "bump" on the crown which gives such a nice shape to the head and face. I highly suggest if you have a long face. The permatese does calm down some as you wear it. And in your video you showed putting those front layers tucked behind your ears to keep them out of your face. I do the same except instead of tucking behind my ears, I clip it or bobby pin it and let the other hair fall over it. I have said for YEARS....if Noriko was smart....they would make a lace front, mono part with the permatese crown bump version of Jackson. They would honestly make a billion dollars on just that wig. I hope they somehow read this and do it!

Sandra G. McAlister: Always love Jackson, she's one of my favorites. Hope all is well with you Taz, thinking about you and I'm sending love and prayers your way. Have a great day, Hugs!

Carolyn McKeeth: Thank you so much for reviewing this beautiful darker color! I love watching your reviews but I don't look good as a blonde. It's always hard to choose a color without seeing it on an actual wig so this was very helpful!

Amy Rutherford-Close: I actually like HER- Yes loving your yard. Boy, I miss the outside beautiful weather. I'm a summer girl. A blessed Sunday. Grateful for another day.

Beth Summersett: Jackson was one of my first wigs when I was still coming to terms with losing my hair and I’m forever grateful to her for the instantaneous boost of confidence she gave me. I love just about everything about her. I believe the length is perfect for anyone of any age, the style is classic and timeless, she’s affordable and so much more. But, even though the cost is great, I try to get the most wear from one I can, so funnily for me, one of my favorite things about her is that when the ends began to fray and she started to show her age a little, because of the layers and style, it was super easy to cut the bottom layer away- making her about shoulder length on me and turning her into a kind of flippy, but not too much so, cutest bob ever. I’m reading comments suggesting to never cut your wigs, so this is just something that works for me, but I love that it extended her life and, quite honestly, I liked her so much that a few extra months of having her around is a wonderful thing!

Paula Ann: You are AMAAZZING TAZ!!! You were born to do this, you are Gorgeous and keep on keeping on. You are THE BEST!!!!

Dee Roga Tory: One of my favorites, wish they'd make this in a long version with the same spiky ends. Noriko NEVER disappoints. Beautiful color on you.

boohoohoo: I purchased this wig from you and i love it! First night I wore it out the compliments kept coming. I felt amazing! Love the color!

Front Porch Wig Chat: I have not had Jackson, but I did have the TressAllure Avery, very similar, maybe with slightly less permatease. I think maybe the Mocha Gold in TressAllure is similar to the Iced Mocha in Noriko. That was my Avery color. I love the general look of those pieces, very casual and youthful, what I call a "jeans and flannel shirt" vibe. You dressed perfectly for Jackson today! ~Cyn

Jillian L.: Love, love, love this video. I have Jackson in chocolate swirl and love it. Thanks for some new ideas on styling!

AJ Row: I agree, Taz, Noriko has such beautiful blended colors! Loving the blonde highlights! I might consider this color! Thanks for the review! Much love!

Michele Hilliard-Hodge: I loved your review so much, I ordered Jackson. This color is so becoming...I ordered the same color too. ❤️

eternalsun.3: Looks great on you Taz !!! another wonderful review...sure wish Noriko would do a rooted platinum in the Jackson and Reese

Tera Agent 88: I love this wig too, durable, low price and easy.

Monika's Beauty & Lifestyle: Good morning Taz. I miss seeing green too.... bring on spring! Excellent review tips on taming Jackson. Hugs!

Peggy Johnson: Jackson was one of the first wigs I bought. Such a cute style, got it in coffee latte. But the permatease is overwhelming. Very nasty looking so I hardly ever wear it. It’s too bad because it’s a cute style. Love your reviews

Eileen Langdon: I love my Jackson in Chocolate Frost R. I get compliments all the time when I wear her. I cut a bang into it and am very happy with how it looks. I just wish Noriko would make more comfortable caps like their new Alva.

Barbara Bellani: May I say you look AMAZING in all wigs but this is by far my favourite style!! I personally don't need to wear wigs for medical reasons but love experimenting with different hair colours and styles! Only problem is that wigstudio1.com doesn't seem to sell to Italy!! Can you refer other websites selling these beauties and shipping to the EU, as well?

Jennifer S: So cute on you!!! Really goes with your outfit. I have a Jackson and unless I wear the sides back or with a squareband, it really overwhelms me. The newsboy hat on you with this looked absolutely adorable!!!

Geri Weyer: Great review Taz, thank You so much!

Melissa Lynn: Yes my favorite wig!!!! Looks gorgeous on you that color the whole package you're a doll!

soph scots: I'm new to your channel.I'm trying to choose between a cpl of styles and your reviews are super helpful for making my decision.much love from Scotland xx

Patty Carosi: Very pretty Taz looks beautiful on you. Your eyes really show up on this color. Thank you for another great review.

Lisa B: OMG I WANT this...the color the fullness GORGEOUS.. You look awesome in this color and style God bless

Michele KT: Love my Jackson! So simple but a perfect straight, mid length style.

Lorrie: Love Jackson! One of my favorites.

Kip Keltner: Hi! Always appreciate your videos and the time and effort you put into them...Can you recommend a wig that's basically Jackson, but with a lace front?

Jackie C: So much snow here in Ohio today! I love this wig!

MichelePearl: When they make this in Moonstone I’m getting this I love this piece

Madelyn: I love my Jacksons. I have 3 all in different colors. I am a bang girl so had bangs cut and everytime I wear then I get compliments on the color, and yes they are sturdy and very comfortable

Sharon Steele: I have Jackson and primarily use it as my boating wig! I put it on before we get ready to dock at a restaurant. I used it yesterday as a matter of fact

Tia Maria: I’m really loving that color!

geanne payne: Gorgeous! A little to long for my taste but I LOVE the color!

Candy Chand: . Very pretty. You always look great in blonde, and surprisingly wonderful as a brunette. I’d love to see you also try a deep shade of red

Валерия Теплякова: Вы потрясающе выглядите!

Barbara Covello: Hi Taz, are there any Noriko colors that come close to Requel welch RL 13/88?

TAZS WIG CLOSET AT WIGSTUDIO1: Hey all! This review was filmed 8/2020. I so miss seeing the GREEN during the bleak winters here! HAVE AN AMAZING DAY! XOXO TAZ

Nola Sidders: Well... My advice with Jackson is to ONLY keep her if you want to look 25! You look so cute today Taz. Hair, clothes.. it’s a win win ❤️

leeann: I have this wig in silverstone. I love it

Suzanne: Hi Taz. You talked me into Jackson Creamy Toffee -R . I was a little concerned it would be too blond, but it was much darker than I expected. (Damn you look so cute in glasses! I wish I could wear those kind but my face is too thin and small). I bought from WigStudio1, my first time and Andrea could not have been kinder and accommodating. Now I just have to figure out how to wear as it is a bit tight around my head. It is my first wig, I've always been a Topper. I have enough trouble trying not to put my dog's harness on backwards so you can imagine how I will do with a wig! Thank you all your tubes they been most helpful. I told Andrea I got the Jackson idea from you. It is a bit long for me but i always thought I could cut it. I am best at 10" or less (up to 8 max; bc then it becomes too short. I have a long neck with a pinhead on top. The visual I can assure you "could make a grown man cry" (Mick Jagger circa ?)

BoMiSo Satori: I was going to add a tip that Sheila shared, it makes such a difference. I got my first Jackon this summer and totally hated her. Too much hair, whats permatese and horrible colour for me - beautiful on others. I wanted Iced Mocha, but they sent me something else. Anway I loved the style and looked high and low for something similar.....didnt find it and ended up returning most of my wigs....then I kept have this pull and Ive seen many have way flatter Jackson than you show here, so I decided what the heck. I got 2. Sugar Cane R and Iced Mocha. I LOVE THEM, I get complements ALLLLLL the time, So flattering, I want Jackson in Mil Tea and Melted Marshmellow, that would made my year <3 Colour is often more important that style I feel. But of course style is important. But in this case, it went from hate to love. I've learned from you, you cant thin permatease, but ive learnd from another lady that heat from your hands on a blowdryer on low heat can flatten the permatease, So I did that. My Jackson is way flatter than yours, just the way I like it <3

Sharlene Tull: Very cute! I’ve always loved this one but too much permatease for the blonde abs I’m platinum and it just doesn’t work for me! Still trying to find one like it that I can do for coloring similar to Palm Springs blonde or the one you did a review on the other day a Henry Margu I think it was I have it written down because I am buying the one you reviewed in the same color! Another great video Taz!!!

Gloria Lagroon: Hi Taz Jackson looks gorgeous on you. But then again I love big/volume hair. I'm not sure how it would feel for me because of the permatease. I noticed on some wigs that I have ( of course they are not expensive) anyway they make me itch. Why is that? I'm wondering..❤ I forgot to mention that I ordered Coco in Auburn Sugar R.

anita kern: I love this one. I wear it every date night. But I have it in the blonde rooted. Im buying another one to have on hand.

Connie Feltman: Beautiful Color!

Monique Breier: Are all Noriko wigs smaller fitting? I had to remove both lengthening straps from my Noriko May wig? Also, no matter if I spread my bio hair out evenly under my wig cap, it always seems to drop to the bottom of my cap leaving a bump. Any suggestions?

Suzanne Dawson: I like the chunky highlights around the face. If only she had a lace front . I have a Jackson in a lovely red color but hardly ever wear her because of the PT. What do you think about taming down the perms tease with a very hot wash cloth?

Shelly F: Hi Taz. What wig is directly above your Strawberry shortcake colored one? Thank you!

Mary Foulks: Great job Taz. I have Jackson in marble Brown , andcreamy toffee R. Love her. What is the name of the far right bottom blonde ? Peace

Lynn Warren: I have two Jacksons. The permatease calms down a lot. In the beginning, I pulled back a lot of hair and used a barrette. but eventually, it calms a lot and no pullback is necessary. Do carry your wig brush with you. I wore it in my engagement photos. She's definitely is a staple and an easy go to and comfortable style for me. I always get compliments on my hair. I would post photos if I could. A great buy. Lasts a long time.

Heather Harrington: Can you suggest a wavy wig that would look like you put waves in this jackson wig

Clara: I really like Jacksons style but not all that permatese too hot for me. Would you make a video on similar styles to Jackson if there are any please? ❤️

Judy Anne: I cant make up my mind if I want an ICED MOCHA R or a CHOCOLATE FROST R..........

Arlene Converse: Taz, on Wig Chicks VIP Group, someone posted a picture of you, Misty and Patti in wigs under different names. Appears to come from the UK. Please take a look!

Big Wigs in Paradise: You look like Jennifer Anniston. Love the style and color on you.

ChooseHappy Mc: How do you cover the front, if no lace? I love this style, but new to wigs. Not sure how to “cover” the hairline front if no lace?

Tony Wesley: Looks very much like the "Rachel" cut from Friends.

Melissa Lynn: I think the color in champagne rooted looks like heather locklear hair it's very rocked out I love it...the browns look like Rachel on friends its funny how the color changes the look.

Kim McCulloch: Is there a similar wig style to this but with a lace front monofilament top

romantic horror: I watched lots of reviews on this one and finally got one 2 years ago. Tried it on and back in the box it went. Without a lace front, it looks so fake not even I can help it, and it has permatease sticking up from the thin top of this thing. I can see the wefts on top. I got it in expresso, so it's really dark, and you'd think it would disguise everything. It's still in a box in my closet. It could be used as a Halloween wig, an expensive Halloween wig. What a disappointment.

Arlene Converse: Taz, can't get the "reply" to work on You Tube but if you need a screenshot of the ad, I have one, or you can log onto Wig Chicks V.I.P. Group and see it. I did call her out on Facebook for posting those pictures without permission. No chance I would fall for such a thing. Take care!

Jackie Ireland: What is the wig on your far right top shelf long blonde

swineinny1: Sorry I posted this comment to the wrong vid!
