Cysterwigs Wig Review: Scarlett By Jon Renau, Colors: 27T613S8 (Shaded Sun) & 27Mb

(, Who Wouldn't Love You ) Hi, there wig lover: this is Heather from Cysterwigs.com. And today I'm bringing you one of my favorite wigs in two colors.. This is the Scarlett wig by Jon, Renau part of their Spring 2015 Collection., And I'm going to be showing you this in the color I'm currently wearing, which is 27T613S8, also known as Shaded Sun.. It'S one of my favorite blondes. And I'm also gon na - be showing this to you later in the video in 27MB, which is a very lovely strawberry color.. So let's go ahead and get started.. I own this wig this one that I'm wearing. And I've been wearing it since they first came out on April 1st.. I cannot say enough how much I love the texture of this wig.. It is basically the CysterWig, but with the S-I-S-T-E-R and not the C-Y-S-T-E-R., The Julianne wig. And I even talked to my team at Jon Renau, who verified that they did a lot of opinion polls and found that Julianne was very popular with consumers.. They loved the wig. Hated the price. And were champing at the bit to get a wig that was similar to Julianne, but with a less fancy cap construction so that they can afford it. And long behold. Here we go. This wig is much less expensive than Julianne, because it has a 100 % machine made cap., With the exception of the lace front, which is the only hand-tied feature of this wig. Julianne, on the other hand, has a 100 % handmade top and even The lace front there as well., So you get fancier stuff with the Julianne.. Hence why it's a little bit more expensive., But if you have the caviar taste and the beer budget, this is the wig for you., It's beautiful. It wears well, and it comes in a lot of very beautiful, vibrant colors, including this one and the 27MB - that I'm gon na show you in a bit. Now. One thing I noticed about this: wig was first got it out of the box. Was that it just kinda want to flap in my face., So I've been using Jon Renau's synthetic safe hair spray on this front area to just kinda, keep it trained up.. I think it looks a little bit more glamorous that way. It exposes the lace front. Cause. Why have one if you're not gon na, show it off, And then on top of that, I also think it just is more comfortable without the hair constantly fighting me and trying to get in my face.. I also wan na say that, because I've been wearing this for almost a month now I haven't washed this wig yet.. I haven't brushed this wig.. I have not comb this wig.. I have only just run my fingers through it., Because the texture doesn't need any extra styling.. It'S already good, to go right out of the box.. That is awesome because the less you brush a wig, the less you comb it the less you fuss with it. The longer it last. That is especially true of these synthetic wigs. And bonus points, Scarlett is a great length.. It has a gradient, so it's definitely shorter in the back than it is towards the front.. But the great thing about that is that it's gon na get the least friction damage.. If it's longer up here than it is at the back, because the back brushes up against the collar of your clothing., The back brushes up your seat in the car.. The back gets tangled in your seatbelt., You know it's like ... The longer the wig is the more obstacles there are to keeping it in good, intact, condition., And so this one is made to last. It's a great wig. And it is a great baby step into Something a little bit fancier like Julianne., If you're little tentative, because you don't know whether or not the style will work on you, which you know I understand, but let me just tell you this style will work on a lot of people.. It'S very, very flattering on. I think that if youre hesitant about forking over the $ 427 to get the Julianne, then this is a great segue into a star like that., Just to see if it looks good on you.. However, if you were the kind of person who is buying this, instead of a Julianne, because you're kind of gritting, your teeth and white knuckling it. And hoping that you're going to be able to settle for an open cap wig when you're kind of a monofilament feature. Snob., Which there's nothing wrong with ..., You know we all have our personal preferences., But if you know right off the bat that you're not going to be satisfied with anything less than at least a monofilament part or you hate permatease., Why? Why would you ever consider this wig ( laughs )? I know I mean I understand., You know you wan na save money. And you think that you might be able to force yourself to subtle., But .... I'Ve already had a couple. People buy these and return them because they realized when they got them ,''. I can't settle with the permatease.''. I don't care about the permatease you know., I wear permatease, wigs, all the time.. They don't bother me at all. And when I wan na show you this wig in the sunshine you can evaluate for yourself whether or not you think this is an excess of amount of the stuff., But I think it's well done. The permatease doesn't bother me., But If you know off the bat that you're the kind of person, that's not gon na be able to get down with the permatease, just save your money, save your money and save it up to go for the Julianne or something that you're going to like better.. Because a wig is only as good as your willingness to wear it. And no matter how much money you think, theoretically, you're saving by getting an open capped, wig in lieu of a monofilament one, your just you're, not gon na, be happy okay. So know thy self.. It'S a good way to go about doing this. So that little disclaimer side. I think this wig is flawless.. I love it., (, laughs ). So let's talk some specs.. The front on Scarlett is 10 inches., So the front part ends right around the chin on me.. The crown down is 11.25 inches., The sides are 9.25, but they do get longer as they go towards the front. And the nape is only 5.5.. So that's definitely an indication that the nape is shorter than the front., Which is what I've already expressed., And this one only weighs 2.7 ounces.. It'S very light weight in fact. That rivals some of their O'solite wigs as far as how heavy the wig isn't. It's just a great little wig., So I'm gon na go ahead and do a turn for you.. So you can see what this one looks like.. I love this color., It's one of my favorite blondes., As you can see in the sunshine that this does not have a true 27 in it., And when I go ahead and put this 27MB on for contrast, you'll be able to see what I mean.. Some people are scared of this because they know that it's a transition, kinda shade. And that it's lighter at the tips than it is at the top.. But let me tell you that the top is not dramatically red at all.. It'S even hard to detect that there's any red in it., As you can see the really in the really bright light.. What it is is it's kind of like a cross between a light, auburn and a light golden brown., But it's super duper thoroughly blended with a 613 which is a very, very light kind of gold based, platinum, blonde. And so the whole thing. With exception of the root is a blend of those two shades. They're, even blended up here at the top. And what happens towards the tip in the Shaded Sun color is that it ... The ratio of that kind of light brown, color sort of it's more up Here than it is down here. And down here, it's more of the 613., So it's definitely lighter at the tip.. I think this is a very beautiful beachy kind of color. And it looks great with these boho waves.. It just works so so well.. So definitely a big fan., Which is why I decide it for summer that this would be a great one for me, since I decided I want to go blonde for summer, just like it seems, like everyone else, does. (, laughs, ). So now that I've shown you what this one looks like in a really pretty blonde, let me show what this looks like in a 27MB color.. So this is a Scarlett in 27MB. And, as you can see in the cap, it has that 100 % hand-tied lace, front. Soft felt here in between the lace front and the open cap.. It is permatease the kind of a spade pattern and most of the permatease is concentrated right up here at the crown.. You have some really nice soft felt here at the ear tabs., It's very stretchy on the perimeter., It's adjustable with a Velcro enclosure in the back. And an extended felt nape. And the back stretches a little bit. But I can tell you from personal experience with my Scarlett: it took about a week before it actually adjusted to the shape of my head. Cause. I have a big head., But now it fits flawlessly and it's very, very comfortable on.. This is how Scarlett looks in the 27MB right out of the box.. You could see those beautiful beautiful kind of loose, corkscrew curls. And you get a ton of just a very beautiful texture., Very easy texture to care, for, as I mentioned earlier, in the review on the one in Shaded Sun., This 27MB color by the way is glorious.. I'M gon na go ahead and zoom in here. And then I'll show you what it looks like in the sunshine.. But to me this looks like it kind of look like a ... Auburny tinted light brown more than actual strawberry.. So, if you're looking for something, that's got a lot of ginger to it. This one is not gon na, be the one., But if you want something, that's just got a hint of red. You know like little pops of it here and there this one is going to be fabulous., Because it's got. The MB in 27MB stands for mixed blend., Which means that it's three or more colors, blended together in even amounts to give you the overall appearance of a 27, which is a light natural Auburn., So you'll get little hints of butterscotch. You'll get little hints of, like Almost like a medium auburn., Even here you get little hints of like a really intense auburn., But they're very here and far between. Lots of colors going to making the shade.. So overall, it's very dynamic up close and from faraway. It looks very natural., So I'm gon na go ahead and put on this one on. And she's super easy to wear right out of the box., As you could see not too far off from the one I've been wearing for a month.. The only thing is, like I said before, the hair in the front: just kinda wants to flap down., So I definitely recommend getting some synthetic safe, hair spray. If you want to pull off the look that I had earlier in the video., Let me go ahead and zoom in on this lace. Front., That's what the lace front on this one looks like.. You have some decent coverage here on the sides., Get those ear tabs flat under my glasses.. So now let me show me you what this color looks like in sunshine. Beautiful., It's a beautiful color.. It is not a super intense red red., It's very, very natural looking., But it's still dynamic enough that if people get close up to that they're not going to wonder whether or not it's a wiggy looking color. Wiggy looking colors tend to be uniform. All the way out, all the way through. - And this is not the case. - It's got enough little tones and highlights that are real subtle - to make this very rich, looking and very, very dynamic and beautiful..
