Hey everybody welcome back to tessa's wig closet at wig studio, one i'm blessed to be able to review another one of those new colors by estetica in their coffee collection. This particular one is iced mocha on the style, orchid we're gon na unpack. This color break it down, do some comparisons and talk a little bit about this beautiful style coming up. So i've always said that estetica comes out with the most feminine romantic sexy styles on the market. Orchid is among their most popular and you cannot help but to feel so feminine and beautiful in this style. Orchid is a long strategically layered big bouncy body, waves, kind of a just sultry curl pattern and contour. It has just enough permatease to create a little kaketish silhouette. It'S just to perfection now the only thing that could have made orchid any better is these brand new coffee collection, colors um. I'M saying that with earnest, because i believe that this color is one of the most gorgeous colors that i have ever seen. So this iced mocha, 8 1826 rt8, starts with a medium chestnut brown, and then it has all these beautiful highlights of a lighter brown, a pale gold blonde, and then it also has a medium brown root. But that doesn't tell the whole story, because this technique is really what captures your heart on. These highlights you'll notice that they are painted on. So it has a beautiful salon. Fresh look you're not going to see any stark differentiation there. It should blend seamlessly all the way through now the painting technique. Can you imagine how hard that is to achieve on a wig? If you think about how the wigs are constructed and sewn into the cap and so forth, to achieve these painted highlights is a huge feat. So if you want to separate this a little further you're going to be able to pick out um this light brown to me kind of looks like a a light amber. Almost. It has a little bit of a butterscotch tone to it and then you'll see where those lighter pieces here is that light gold blonde all the delicious hues that you would see going into your favorite coffee drinks. I think it's aptly named. I just i get my mouth kind of waters every time i talk about it, you know the lattes and the mochas, so i want to do a little bit of a comparison on the vanilla macchiato that i reviewed on the avalon. So what i really wanted to do was take a look at the roots. It'S obvious that there's a lot of platinum, a white and kind of a sandy tone mix in this. It'S absolutely beautiful. Now, with this technique, um, they started a little farther down. The shaft, for these highlights leaves the appearance of a a long root effect, and i think the reason why it appears uh to be so stark, in contrast, is just because of the light color. You can see that same technique is applied here on the iced mocha, where it kind of gives the long root effect. That kind of gradually blends into the highlights the highlights painted right on top and it has a beautiful transition. So what you cannot expect from a color like this is for it to be a mainstream color. You can't expect this to look like a jon, renau, uh palm springs blonde or the new henry margu, 10 613, or the butterbeer blonde by by beltress. This is a creation all of its own, so yes you're going to have to like that long root effect. I know some people do and some people, don't it's more or less a high fashion color. So you should take that all into consideration, so i'm actually going to do a side by side of these two colors here in a bit just to give you some perspective. So let's talk a little bit more about orchid. So orchid has about a nine inch layer right around the face: okay and it's just very femininely contoured. I always love how this lays around the face has a little bit of a contour right there off of the lace front and overall i would i'm estimating that length to be about 19 to 20 inches. I did not measure it. It weighs over just a little over four ounces. It'S not a tremendously thick style, i mean it looks that way, just because it feel it. It looks so satiny and lush um, but it does it's not overdone um. I feel like it's a very average density and an average amount of permatease. All the permatease is strategic, mostly there on the top and at the crown a little bit at the back very very little if any at the nape, and then none here at the temple. So it's very well done in terms of permatease, so i'm loving that lace, front left, monofilament, side part. This is one beautiful style that i can see just being one of your favorite wigs throughout this winter. I think it would look really cute with the beanie cap. An orchid is just one of those styles too. That makes magnificent updos and ponies. You

Monika's Beauty & Lifestyle: Loved seeing this and while I am one of those that are not a long dark root fan, I think Iced Mocha looks awesome! That would be my pick, love that color.

Marlene's Wig & Chat Studio: I can't pick a favorite! Love them both, but if I have to pick one it'd be the Iced Mocha. Gorgeous painted on effect! Looks beautiful on you!! xoxo Mar

Jess C: Beautiful wig and I love the length on this one ☝️ it does look really cute with a beanie for a fun winter look

S.A. Kenyon: Beautiful color and style. I hope they expand the number of styles they have with these colors.

allison botts: I think the new colors are beautiful. They resemble the new hair fashion called balayage. The contrast is just a bit too much on the vanilla macchiato. Hopefully, Orchid will be my next purchase. Thanks Taz! Appreciate all the information you provide.

Jean Jacobs: Love the effect of the color technique on this one. I thought the vanilla macchiato on Avalon was a bit harsh, but this one really achieved its goal. It looks great in that half updo. Love and blessings ❤️

Valli S: You are right, this color is over-the-top beautiful! You have superb taste, Taz, as always. These color comparisons are amazingly helpful. xoxo

LD: Gorgeous color and great on that style ! Wow looks fantastic on you, Taz

Michelle Diekman: As always Everything Looks Gorgeous on you . Love how you show different styling options, you do it with such Ease. Just Beautiful ❤

Renee Babes: I've been on the fence about the iced mocha compared to the toffee latte. I'm absolutely dying to know what wig letter k is behind you?

Sheri M: So lovely, Taz. I'm 66, but long for a style with a 'coquettish silhouette'.......very nicely put. As usual, your review is fabulous! NO one does it anywhere near as well as you do.....my bank account will attest to that. Lol!

Carolyn McKeeth: Love the color on Orchid! Reminds me of my favorite Estetica color-- caramel kiss rooted.

Connie Feltman: Beautiful colors! So many that blend wonderfully! Want that cup of coffee! lol

Mint: Hi Taz, that is goddess hair! The lace front is perfect. The length and texture is the hair every girl dreams of having. You look beautiful in it. Love, Sharon xo P.S. my stylin’ set came, and I couldn’t be more delighted. Thank you for the care you took. I felt so excited opening it, and I love it!

claudianowakowski: I love the wig. Both colors are gorgeous on you.

Patty Carosi: Orchid is a beautiful wig I love the Iced Mocha. You are right this will be a great updo stylish wig!

Debbie Perkins: Wow Taz... just Wow. At 65 I think I can rock this style! You look gorgeous as ever

Kathy Young: Your always Stunning Taz!!!

Maranda Rock: The lace front leaves something to be desired on this, it’s stark and obvious, but having said that, otherwise I love the color. Wish they could perfect their lace front! Good review.

Pockets & Bones: I am looking at this one or Spotlight by Raquel Welch. Have you seen the Spotlight? Spotlight is HT and the bangs are a bit shorter but I don't think there is allot of difference in length. Do you have a fav lace front between the brands / knotting? Thanks for all your vids to help us all out. I think we all see you as a friend!!!

Suz: This looks so beautiful on you, I prefer the Avalon in Vanilla Macchiato, now that one has me drooling!....Also love the look of the wig on P stand ......Have a fab Sunday my sweet friend, hugs, xoxo

MichelePearl: This is a Home Run! ⚾️ so dramatic!

Lucy Gray: I have flat, straight Native American hair, and always admired the curly-haired girls in the 60s and 70s who refused to iron their hair flat. I joined my sister on a new journey when her hair fell out due to illness. After seeing Taz's review, we wound up getting ICED MOCHA, which showed up yesterday. it was like being a teen all over again, we absolutely love it. The roots very dark indoors, while outside, the dark roots lighten into chestnut. I just couldn't warm up to those fly-aways in Orchid, and went with Finn. The curls are realistic and the fit is great for those of us who still have some bio hair. It frames the face well, reminds me of Carol King, who still has masses of curls in her 70s. Now I can have curly hair!!! Thanks, Taz, my sis and I are both tickled with the new arrivals.

Lucy Gray: The Orchid looks stringy and has those distracting giant fly-aways. To me, it screams wiggy. Avalon looks much thicker, but other reviewers have said its much thinner than good ol' Finn. I know you prefer blond, but wish you would show one with the new Americano color. Reminds me of "trampy biker chick" for all the bad girls out there, especially in Orchid. :-)

Maxine Beckford: Hi from England These really suit you they look so natural. Take care, stay safe

Sara C: Hi beautiful. I have googled the wigs & having hard time understanding how to order. Also, can you please tell me what is the closest to this hair style* but a few* more blond streaks at root? Thank you. X

Kara Pringle: I love iced mocha. That's a personal choice. I don't look good as a blonde! Something close to a "VERY OLD street walker" LOL

Jackie Ireland: Orchid is my pick, love your reviews

Lisa Lev: It’s very beautiful but you are stunning in shorter styles!

lil poohbear: Iced Mocha...FANTASTIC Taz :)))

Autumn Storm: BALAYAGE is what they're calling this way of coloring. It's all the rave for 2021.

Kcat: Hi! Love your videos! I was wondering what M is on the wig head?

Maria Daquila: So pretty Taz!

Robin's Wig Party: Iced mocha would be more doable for me. Pretty, pretty.

Amy Rutherford-Close: Love you in long hair-not your go too, but a fun choice.

Ramona Rain: TAZ.. I have a Question for you. I Like the Orchard Coffee collection... I want a creamy reddish / brown hair /wig. would that be Ice Mocha, or Toffee Latte ? ? don't want dark anything....also not to light either.. Which do i choose. If not either. IS THERE ANY CHANCE that they might make one in a creamy reddish, brown with highlights ? ? can you compair them side by side ??

Tara courter: Hi.. can you tell me what the name of that wig is, in your collection, with the letter k, on the wig head?

Tia Maria: Yep...SOLD! LOL :)

marianne palfy: So are there clips or combs inside. I’m new

Pamela Prescott: Iced Mocha Wow!!!

Gayle Fahnestock: xoxxoo
