Wig Color Spotlight & Comparison Henry Margu 8/27/33H On Jules | Mane Attraction Nutmeg On Broadway

I absolutely LOVE Henry Margu Jules, and am over the moon about this 8/27/33H color! As soon as I saw it I KNEW I had to compare it to Mane Attraction Nutmeg- I just knew they would be super similar and I was right. I think they are virtually the same color with maybe a little different highlight placement (which can happen from wig to wig anyway).

I also knew I had to compare to my Jules in 88GR because the curl pattern is quite different. I really love them both, though.

Can't get enough of Jules? Check out my other two videos on this cute style!

Hey everyone - i am here today to do a color spotlight for you. I have on joules by henry margu in the color 8. 27. 33 h. So my plan for this video is to spotlight this beautiful color, compare it to nutmeg in the main attraction line and i'm going to quickly show you another jewels that i have to show the difference in the curl pattern on these two pieces, so you're gon na Get kind of a triple whammy here with a color comparison, uh, color, spotlight and a wig style comparison all right. So let's get going so this isn't too long. So henry margu, jules is super adorable. My friend linda sent me this piece, so i could see this color. She had a suspicion that it was a doppelganger for the nutmeg color in the main attraction line and she loves jewels. It has multiple jewels wigs, so i am so blessed that linda is so willing to share her wigs with me. This is not the first time she's done this and i'm sure it's not going to be the last, because it just gives me so much more experience with different styles different colors, and then i can bring them to you guys. So this is awesome. So, let's thank linda because this way this video is possible because of her generosity and sharing this now it's on loan. It is going back to her, but i may have to purchase this piece myself because it's adorable all right. So, let's break down the color. First of all, so 8, 27 33 h in the henry margu line. When there is an h at the end of the color code, it means it's a highlighted color, and that means there are going to be visible, highlights in it, and the jewels i'm going to show you is um is another one. That'S got some highlights in it, but for the other jewels, but so let's what? What do these codes mean? A number eight is a medium brown. So when you think about the brunette color codes, you go from a two to a twelve and so 2 is the darkest brown and a 12 is the lightest brown and 8 is smack dab in the middle of that. So it's just really kind of sometimes you'll see it called a medium dark brown. Sometimes you'll see it called a chestnut brown. It'S really just a medium brown that tends to be warm, although i have seen it look a little ashy. So that's where colors become hard and you just have to start to get to know them in the various lines. So that's the base color, because it's the first number, then you have a 27 and a 33 and those are what are highlighted throughout the base color. So when you're, looking at auburns you're, looking at the range of 27 to 33, really kind of the reds, a 27 is typically called a strawberry blonde. So you're looking at a kind of a reddish blonde color in a 27 and then a 33 is the top end of the kind of the red auburn scale and it's considered a dark auburn. So what we have then, is a base of a medium brown. Some strawberry blonde and some dark auburn highlighted through - and it just gives this such a dynamic appearance. It'S quite light from a brunette perspective. So even though you've got kind of a medium brown and you have that dark auburn code, it's really a medium. I would call this a kind of a light. Auburn brunette with some kind of blondish highlights that's what it looks like to my eye. So if you're used to wearing wigs that are on the dark side of brunette, maybe your eight is a light. Fruit is light to you, maybe you like the sixes and the fours. This is going to be very light for you, even though it has an eight in it. There'S not a lot of eight in it and it's definitely kind of on the lighter side. So keep that in mind i'm going to get outside for you guys, you can see this color outside the other thing i want to show you is this lace front? It is amazing. Henry margu does an excellent job with their lace fronts. In my experience, i don't have a ton of experience with henry margu, but the experience i have the lace fronts have been really really great and it's just beautiful and they do bring those highlights right up to the front which allows for that. The light knotting to look really awesome. Let'S take a look at this one on all sides, so you can see not only the style but how the color weaves through it. It is gorgeous i, as soon as i got this wig. I completely fell in love with the color and i immediately went to ebay to see if i could find a henry margu wig for a really great price from a wig sister and i happen to find pressly on sale on ebay. And i got that wig and so i'll be i have a fiber right in my eyes i will be doing a review of presley and you'll get to see this color again, but that this time on a long straight wig. So i'm excited to do that. But this color is phenomenal. So let's talk about how this color compares to nutmeg by main attraction, because i think they're sister colors, i think um for those of you who don't know maine attraction is uh one of the henry margu. It'S a line of henry margu and um, so i think this is the same color just in the main attraction line and they call it nutmeg and they don't provide color codes. So, let's just take a look, i think they're very, very similar. If they're not identical, you see make sure i'm in the frame here yeah, i just love it so so nutmeg has got some awesome kind of highlights running through it and i just think it's got all the same colors. So, let's kind of take a look. It'S so similar if it's not identical, uh, what's really kind of cool is the way that these highlights on this longer piece really, the blending is really awesome, and i think that it's true for this one as well. So let me put nutmeg on this is actually broadway. Let me put broadway on for you, so you can see this color broadway is one was one of my favorite favorite wigs last year. I wore her a lot, so this is a well loved broadway. I just love this style and i've worn her so much so you can see, i think, just looking at them, they're very, very similar. So if you have experience with nutmeg, then i think this color you'll love this color in the main attraction line and vice versa. If you have experience with this color in the henry margu line, then i think you'll love nutmeg in the main attraction line. So anyway i will get outside. Like i said um with this color, i probably won't compare the nutmeg outside. I do have a video of that broadway wig in that color, and you can definitely check it out i'll i'll, try to link it for you here so that you can find it easily, but real quick here. I want to then compare this jewels with uh. This other jewels that i have because the curl pattern is very different and they actually seem like they're different lengths and if you didn't know better, you might think that they were different styles. So, let's just kind of take a look. So, as you can see in this one she's just she's kind of swoopy right here - she definitely has some curls kind of messy curls. But when i put this one on, it just seems a little curlier and a little shorter, which would make sense if it's curlier. So i'm going to do a quick switch for you guys. Can you tell like right away because i can just seems so much curlier and shorter? I was really really surprised. I just love jewels, so this jewels was the one i had. First, i'm just straightening her out in the mirror, and so when i got this one - and i put it on, i thought wow does that really look different, and so i went and grabbed this one and put it on and sure enough. It does look very, very different. This one is much curlier. Therefore, it looks much shorter and i think she looks fuller as well and it could it could have to do with all of these curls. So i do have a review of this jewels as well. So you can check out my full review of jewels in that other video, so i'll link that one as well. So your homework is to go watch my other two videos, so you can see more about the styles that i've shown you because the point of this one is just the color spotlight. So let me put this one back on and now you can see right away. The difference not as curly seems longer, especially in the front, that's what happens with wigs, and i i have a video out there that i made last year kind of lamenting about the inconsistencies in wigs and now that i have a year more experience under my belt. I'M starting to understand it a little bit better, it doesn't mean we have to love it um, but i think there's just a lot of reasons for why there's inconsistencies and it's part of the journey, and so i just want to encourage you just to be aware That this happens um, i don't have a solution for it. I wish that there weren't such inconsistencies, but you know there's with hand-tied features and with the variability and fibers, and you know there's just so many things that can play into it so um. But i think you should know and that's why i'm showing it, and so this one is they're both super adorable, but they do look a little bit different from each other. So anyway, this has been a color spotlight of the henry margu color. 8. 27 h. Stick around and you'll get to see this one outside as well. If you have questions for me, let me know thanks for watching and i'll talk to you guys soon. All right here is 8 27 33 h outside gosh. I'M loving this color holy smokes. RubyRazzie: Great spotlight! I thought I needed Jules and now seeing her in MY color you have me convinced! She is adorable on you and the color is very flattering on you, too (you're glowing!). I need to go back and check out the MA wigs now, too, looking for Nutmeg. Thanks, Friend!

allykatt1849: Great color descriptions, so helpful! Thanks Denise and Linda! You both rock! ‍

Lisa Wawrzynski: Hi Denise! Thanks for spotlighting these colors. I absolutely LOVE the 8/27/33H by Henry Margu. It's a gorgeous color and very natural looking, it's my go-to color. I have it in my Ella and Presley wigs by HM and these two are my favorite short and long wigs. You're correct in thinking that Nutmeg is Mane Attraction's version of the 8/27/33H. As you know, Mane Attraction is HMs affordable line...the sister wig for Presley is "Enchantress" which is a bit longer but essentially the same style. I love the HM and MA line; the hair fibers and movement are so natural, and the wigs themselves are comfortable and light. The lace fronts are impeccable. I look forward to your review of Presley. xoxo Lisa

L S: WOW! That 8/27/33H color blend looks like you just walked out of the salon! Sooo dynamic, love it in outdoor lighting, too. Beautiful on you, for sure. But then, so is the 88GR! The 88GR does look different in density and curl pattern. Thanks for the comparisons of both Jules. My experience has been about the same when ordering a second wig of a style I already have and love. That being said, it's not all bad. With a little patience and either some water or product I can usually make it work and it just looks like I styled my hair a little differently. I agree it can be disappointing sometimes. Nice of you to always explain the color codes in depth. Choosing a color can be so hard until you find out what looks best on you. Try a new color and the process starts all over again. It's a journey for sure......thanks for smoothing out some of the bumps along the path

Sharon L: I can’t wait to get a Jules of my own!!

Janean: Great explanation how the same blondes (or any colors) seem light or dark depending on if we're looking at it as a brunette or someone with light blonde hair coloring!

AJ Row: Very pretty color, Denise!❤️ My Jules is longer too!

Lisa Kellett: Shout out to Linda, Thank you. I think the color on Jules and Broadway are identical to each other. Such beautiful variation and I think a pretty color for fall too. Inconsistency is a fear I have and I think it definitely happens more with the curly wavy wigs as opposed to say just a straight style such as a bob. I love my Cascara and all the photos I see no two are alike ☹️ so I'm hesitant to order another. Jules is super cute. Great comparison, thanks!

Maria Barradas: It's a lovely hair on you, love it and you look so good with curls or wavy hair.

Anna Lewis: Thank you, Linda, for sharing your wigs!

Patinkular: Thank You for another great Video, sister . Very cleverly done. Brilliant explanation of colors!

Sheri RM: Love Jules in the 8/27/33H! I got her in the 88GR and it has twice as much hair as both of the Jules you modeled. I had to do some trimming, for sure!! Mine has the curl pattern like your 88GR. One of the reasons I follow you (besides the fact that you're such a delight and such a fabulous reviewer) is that we have the same dimensions and I'm new to this adventure and need guidance. My Jules is so comfy and terrific quality. I concur that there can be differences in all wigs of the same brand/style. Thanks for your review! You're blazing the trail for me! :-) P.S. Just posted some pics of me yesterday with my new Estetica Jones on the WigStudio1 FB page. She's so much fun, too!

Robin Cardin: They do look like two different wigs. I like the one with less curl for myself. Great comparison though.

M Dison: Love the first Jules on yoy, Denise. The color is very flattering with your skin tone.

Margaret Tassey: Love the comparison. Great color, but not seeing much red until the sun hit it. Thanks for doing this.

Anna Lewis: I love that color. It’s so pretty.

Cathy Wright: The colors do look very similar. The Broadway looks like a grown out Jules also. Pretty

Brenda: The y’all look great on you. I do prefer the darker Jules on you the best of the two. It looks very nice on you.

C G: So helpful! Thank you.

Angelsangst: Look like 2 different wigs. Love the 8/27/33.

brooks269: Love the color on you!

Anna Lewis: What is the difference between Henry Margu and Mane Attraction if they’re both made by Henry Margu?

Anna Lewis: This is the first time I’ve heard anyone explain colors before.

robin fineman: Love it.

Brenda: Broadway is super cute too!

Jerry Scott: How does this color compare Bernstein Rooted?

GAIL S: There's a.weird chunk of color in that first wig but the lighting is really bad its so dark in the room .
