Hey everyone today, i am here to do another guest review for wig studio one today i have on felicia by henry margu in the color 27ah. I am really really happy with this piece and the curl pattern, and i can't wait to tell you all about her, but before i do, i just want to let you know that wig studio, one is an online retailer that has a facebook group as well. That is a tremendous support to us. Wig wearers, it's called wig studio, one wig topper support group. Please check that out. If you haven't already and if you're, not on facebook but you're struggling in your wig journey, i really encourage you to consider joining facebook and being a member of this group, because there's so much help to be had out there by your wake sisters uh, but their Online website also has a support: uh email, you can email support wigstudio1.com. They will also be available to talk to you over the phone, but they can also help you if you're really struggling with style and color and just have a lot of questions all right. So, let's just talk a little bit about felicia felicia is a basic cap or machine made cap wig, which means that it she doesn't have any monofilament features no lace front, really just your standard kind of open, wefted cap. What that means is the price point is going to be a little bit more affordable versus a wig with a lot of cap features which tends to increase the cost. So if you're on a budget, felicia could be a really good one to look at and her style is such that you really don't need that lace front or really the monofilament either. So before i talk too much about felicia, let me show you what she looks like on all sides. I love the curl pattern on this one. It'S really great good movement. The curl pattern is just gorgeous. The length is really good as well. It just goes down to the shoulders i tend to like wigs that are just a little bit shorter than this for everyday wear personally, but i'm going to show you some styling options that i think this is so great for i also plan to do a comparison With this style, with another style on my youtube channel and some color comparisons, so i really can't wait to show you more about this piece and some of the thoughts i've had on her um. So when i say that a wig is a basic cap wig, what does that mean? Let me show you the cap and then we'll talk more about the fit and everything in a basic cap. Wig, you don't get a lace front. Some people find lace, fronts to be itchy, see it's just a plain soft material, and so, if you're, somebody who finds a lace front, itchy a basic uh, the non-lace front. Wig could be really helpful to you. There'S no velvet on the ear tabs, they're open. There'S! No extended nape, there are velcro adjusters and it's pretty much open wefted, except for this part right here and i'll talk a little bit about the permatease in felicia. But i one thing i'm really pleased about is how minimal you can you know on the top of a basic cap wig? Sometimes you can see visible permatease more often than not, depending on the style. Felicia really doesn't have much visible permatease. You really have to struggle to see it and i just don't think most people will ever i mean as i look at it here. I don't really see it. If i really get in there - and i kind of look at an angle, i can see it a little bit, but i also know what i'm looking for. I don't think anybody's gon na notice. So i think that's a great feature in this particular piece um. Some of the things i've noticed about her is the bang area does like to hang in the face a lot so for my wig sisters, who can wear full bangs and really like to wear full bangs. Do you see how easy she just pops right on um? I think you're going to be able to get full bangs out of this really really easily. Just i think you'll maybe need to take just a little bit of a scissors just trim a little bit because they are a little bit longer and so other than that. I think full bang is going to be great if you don't want a full bang, but you like a little bit of a side fringe. I'Ve just had to work with her quite a bit to get her to sweep to the side. I did put some john renault peace out cream in her and that helped a lot. I love that stuff for helping to kind of direct hair fibers, and that has helped a ton and so and something that you know you could do is take a little bit of steam to her you're not going to be able to steam it all the way Up because there's no lace front, but just to get a little lift that will train these, but i think the fibers are just going to train on their own. If you just keep working with them and the piece you get, the fibers may go to the side. A little bit more readily that's one of those things about wigs, that's going to vary piece to piece. How is the hair fiber sewn into the cap? It will kind of impact. How much redirecting you'll need to do as far as fit goes. Henry margu is a real average cap kind of piece i'd say you know i tend to cinch in henry margu pieces just a little bit and i'm a 22 inch circumference. I do get just a little bit of extra cap on the top, not a lot. So i'm very petite over the top of my head, so i would say if you are solidly average you're going to fit in a henry margu piece, just fine average petite, i think you'll be able to adjust and and wear them. Although i mean the you know, the coverage on henry margu is very good on me, so the more petite over the top of your head, you are the more that the ear tabs may cause you issues the ear tabs on me. Go all the way down to my ears and there's a lot of hair sewn in on the ear tabs, so you're really not going to have to deal with a lot of bio hair showing. So i just think i love the fit of henry margu on me and i love how comfortable the caps are. So i don't know how much i helped you. There is some stretch too. So i would say you know, average, to almost average large should be okay. Um, let's talk about this color, so this color is so beautiful. Let me get in here for you, so the color 27 is a strawberry blonde. So when you're thinking of color codes, it's really helpful to get to know what the numbers mean and so a 27 is a strawberry blonde. Whereas a 28 is getting into an irish red and then you get to 30 and that's a light. Auburn medium auburn, and so this really to me pulls like a light auburn. But when you look up online what this color means 27ah. It says that it's a strawberry blonde with blonde highlights. It'S really not a highlighted piece. The highlighting is super super subtle. The only way that i could really see highlighting on this was when i held the held the wig in my hand and like under a super bright light. Like looked at the hair fibers, and then i could see some of the dynamic color. But it's not super dynamic on your head. It'S not super highlighted, so i would say it's very well blended. I will get outside for you guys, no rooting. So if you are a brunette, as i am uh and you're not used to wearing light browns, this color is gon na feel really light to you, especially without a without the rooting. If you're a blonde, you really have to like your strawberry blondes and your auburns for this to really work for you, because, in my opinion, it's really like a light. Auburn uh, that's just what i see as a light auburn! So um! You know it's the strawberry blonde, it's the blonde. The color code doesn't have any brunette in it, but i definitely think it leans more kind of towards the brunette versus the blonde side. It just to me looks like a light auburn, so i'll get outside and i'll show that to you outside um. What else can i tell you fibers on henry margu? Wigs are really great. I just love them they're kind of on the dry side, and so they're not super shiny. They don't look like doll hair. They just look really really natural and um. They seem to wear really well and the curl pattern is just perfect. It'S just it's just perfect. It'S not like super curly, but it's just curly enough, some things i really like to do, and i grabbed a couple of clips here some things i really like to do with pieces that have layers. You can see that this is quite layered. The layers are perfect, though, with the curl pattern it just cascades the curls, sometimes a layered wig can feel too layered. If you know what i mean, this one doesn't do that at all, but what i love to do with pieces like this is i love to pull them up in a clip in the back, so with a wig this length, sometimes hanging on my neck, can get Really warm and i'm not a fan of hair on my neck, and so that's why i gravitate towards just a little bit of a shorter piece, but with this type of a curl pattern, and i'm just going to quickly do this and it's not going to be You know perfect, i would take more time to style it. If i were, you know doing this to wear for the day, but something i really love to do and then you can have curls kind of cascading down. Is i love to take just a claw, clip and kind of get the hair up in the back, especially in a wefted piece like this? Because, then, you can just put the clip through the wefting and it really holds the hair securely and then just have a little bit of hair kind of hanging down. You can tuck it a little bit. This is really a tuckable piece, but then you've got the hair off your neck. Again, i don't know what it looks like back there. I'D take a lot more time. I would look at the back, but i love love curly pieces like this, where there's layers, because it really lends itself very just awesome to updos like this, and then you can mess with how much curl you want to have down the hair on the in the Front hangs down just perfectly. I just think that this is a perfect, perfect piece for that kind of a style. So, if you're on the fence about a wig like this, i would really consider whether or not this could be an updo piece for you uh. It'S! It'S so perfect, this way, just i'm just a huge fan of styles and then you can do any kind of version of that. What maybe you want to leave some down in the back, and you just want to put a little bit up on the sides. You can use a smaller clip, i think there's a lot you can do so i really really love that about this piece. It'S just awesome. So let me know what questions you have for me about felicia. The permatease is pretty minimal, i would say, there's a poof kind of a pillowy poof of permatease right up here. When you put your hands in it, you can really feel it. There'S really no poofy pillowy permatease anywhere else in the wig. There'S nothing on the sides. You know maybe just a little bit of crimpy fibers, which a curly piece like this really kind of needs, um. So really the only proof of pillow sorry guys, poof of permatease is right up here, and it's really, i think there to disguise the cap. I can't get much lift out of this. I have messed with her. I have you know gotten my hands in there. I'Ve scrunched she's not going to be super big hair. The curls make her look a little bigger, but she's not big, do to poof, and so i would say if you don't like permatease um she's, not super permateasy. So if you can do a little bit of permatease, you can probably do this one, especially if you are cur you know girl who loves your curls. I think you could do this one so easily. You know i love my curls and i really love this style. So i don't know how messy i made her, but i'm a fan. I give her two thumbs up and i think she's a great piece so stick around for the outside look at this color. I do have an out of the box as well. She had serious, serious box hair very smashed. All i did was spray her with water, shake her out upside down and scrunch her up and that took care of it. So, thanks for watching you guys all right. Everyone here is 27 h outside. So pretty look at how beautiful this color is. It'S just so well, blended and so soft, just natural, really natural, no rooting just just gorgeous trying to make sure where, where the sun is right, now it's behind clouds. Hopefully this was helpful, though honestly, i just think seeing these colors, both inside and outside, is really really important so hard to do these here in the winter, though so taking advantage of the summer all right. I hope that was helpful for you guys. Let me know if you have questions thanks so much for watching hey everyone, i'm here to do an out of the box for you on felicia. You know i just realized. It'S been a while, since i filmed something in my bathroom now that i'm doing them more in my basement area, so it's kind of nice to be back in familiar territory. It'S almost 10 pm at night, felicia just came today. I got her a few hours ago and all i've done is taken the tag off her. I have not shaken her out or anything, and this is a perfect example in my opinion, of how bad box hair can be because i have tried her on, but that's all i've done. This one is full on box hair. So when you ask the question: what does denise mean by box hair, this is box hair. This is very smashed. I mean it's just like smashed totally totally smashed, so this is what can happen when you get a wig, that's been living in a box for quite some time and um. You know when you've got it's so it's summer right now and it's hot and much it's in most of all of the united states, and so this one um it took a while to get to me there was a delay in shipping. So, who knows if she was sitting on a truck somewhere and if the heat you know contributed to that amount of box hair, so um? What you do, is you shake out a wig now you can't do this. If you don't know, if you're going to keep her, so that's going to be your trick and that's going to be the learn one of the learning curves of wearing wigs is: how do you know when a wig is something that you want to mess with? I know a lot of weak sisters say they unless they see it like a true defect in a wig, they really don't return wigs. They would rather try to do what they can with them and then resell them if they're not going to work for them. There is risk to that in my experience and i've sold quite a few wigs. I never ever make my investment back i've taken as much as a 50 hit more than that, because i do try to price my wigs pretty low. This to me is my ministry, and so i am okay with taking a little bit of a loss when i purchase a wig, but that's not for everybody um. So keep that in mind. You can try to sell a wig if you can't make her work, but you are it's going to be tough for you to get your money back um unless you got a screaming deal and you got it on like clearance and you had a coupon and all Of those things, okay, so that's just my two cents, but you know it's really hard to know what a wig's potential is. If you can, if you don't even shake it out, so that's gon na be hard. You might find yourself returning a lot of wigs and, as you get more experience, you'll realize that some of those you didn't have to return. I know that is what happened for me. Okay, so shaking her out, and you know you can kind of do this. You can give her a couple of good like tosses one thing with a basic cap wig that has some permatease. Is i really like to get in there and kind of fluff up at the permatease just to really help release it? So now, let's see what we got look at, how much fuller she is already just from that shaking she's gon na need time out of the box shaking um. My guess is that she's gon na need water as well, and some scrunching, because she's got some really. You know pretty curls, so this is kind of just step, one yeah. These are really hanging in my face. So what i'm going to want to do is i'm going to want to spray some water and really just kind of wake her up, and you know some people don't spray the water they just let that wig hang upside down for a while for me um. I almost always spray a wig a little bit. Just i don't know it's kind of my i'm just getting my water bottle just kind of my preference. I just like to do that, and so i just take - and i just hold the wig in my kind of into my shower. So i don't spray it all over my bathroom floor and i just kind of i sort of stick my fingers through the wefting and then i just sort of spray at the root and the permatease and it's just water. Nothing is in there. Just water, water won't hurt your wig at all, and so i do that, and you know, depending on what you know, how much curl i think i can get out of a wig. I might just kind of spray all around. Sometimes i really soak away. Sometimes i just spray a little bit. If it's not enough, i can always spray more or another option is to soak the wig. So i'm going to shake it a couple more times and now i'm just going to kind of scrunch and that's kind of it and now what i'm going to do is i'm going to take the tag and i'm going to hang back here. Just on my towel. Rack, that's back here with one of these laundry clips and i just get them on amazon. I can link them in the description and then i'll just hang and let her dry and then i'll see what i have and i may need to do more. I may not, but you'll have seen kind of the final product, but i sometimes want to show all of that, because i know i have a lot of new wig sisters who watch my videos and this stuff is really foreign in the beginning. So hopefully that was helpful and again i can't reiterate enough. The hard part is really going to be. When do you go to all that effort, and when do you just return the weight, because once i've shaken the wig out, i can't return it anymore and um. I think there's value in trying to learn these things and getting more experience and and giving away a chance, but i get it finances really dictate what you're able to do so. Good luck on that part of your journey. I know it can be tough, but you'll get there as long as you just don't give up thanks for watching you guys, you

Jeannie Deal: You are SO pretty, Denise. I am so grateful for your reviews and appreciate the look indoors and outdoors. You always have the best and most encouraging tips. I have learned a ton from you. I no longer looks at some wigs as a disaster but start dreaming how I can work on it to make it work out! I love your channel and your positive energy. Thank you!!

RubyRazzie: Super job, Denise! This was so helpful and I really understand "box hair" more now since seeing the end of this video and seeing the wig. Can't wait to try her! - Jill

TAZS WIG CLOSET AT WIGSTUDIO1: Great job Denise! What beautiful curl and color! I had to really get up under the shallow permatease layer on top to lift and get as much volume as possible.. because mine also was flat at smooth on top. You look gorgeous! XOXO

Patty Heisler: She's a cute wig. Thank you for always bringing these informative reviews to us. You're my go to!

Margaret Tassey: Curl pattern is just beautiful. I don't think we have a name for this color. Blonde, brunette, and redhead don't cover all the bases. This is really a light reddish brown, but does look more blonde outside (but I would still say light brown). Thanks for the review. These are so helpful for those of us buying an expensive product with very little to go on from the producers.

Sheila Rea: Denise, I am seriously considering the wig Jules in this 27AH color. If I wanted to add a little low lighting, what kind of color would you recommend? Not a brown, but maybe a deeper red. Also, does this color show highlights ver much. The AH in the description makes me think it would have ash blonde highlights. Any comments or suggestions you could make would be appreciated. Loving my wig sisters, Sheila

Diane dee: Denise...hi thank you for doing all of your reviews and your research ...it means so much. I am wanting to buy either...Broadway or Jessica by jr....or this one your showing...out of the three which is better ....it will be my first with out a lace front I like permatease unless it just looks to fake or wiggly Please help Thank you sweetie

Alice LeJeune: Beautiful

Ginger Lehman: Very pretty on you!
