Hey y'all welcome back to the hair, I wear for wigs by Patti's pearls calm, I'm Lauren and I have a batch of reviews that are featuring a brand. I have never reviewed before. I'M really excited to give them a try. I'Ve heard a lot of great things about these pieces, so can't wait to get them on and try them for myself, but the brand is the Raquel Welch line. Now, when I think of Raquel Welch, I think in like the ultimate of classy and sophisticated. She just always looks so put together and beautiful, and I have a feeling that her line of hair pieces are gon na go along the same lines. So I'm thinking we're gon na get a lot of classic and sassy and chic looks so can't wait to give them a try now, the first one I have for you is this piece right here which it's very random, but I decided to wear this hair piece Today, this is the John Renault fiery wig, it's heat defiant and the color is six f27 called caramel ribbon. So it's like a medium brown and then it has some Auburn highlights running through it, which i think is just a great fall color and then I pulled this out of the box and I'm like um. It'S like the same color, so kind of ironic, but this color is called ginger Brown. Now this is a blended color. The base is a medium brown and then it's mixed with some caramel brown and just has kind of an overall warmer look to it. Like the highlights in there we're kind of on the auburn side, so this is a beautiful, warm color for fall very dimensional with the highlights running through it. Now you will see that this has some very loose waves in it and on line it's described as like. An undone curl so picture like you, just ran your curling iron through your pieces in the morning and you've been finger combing and it's just this loose kind of undone curl, which i think is beautiful. I love a loose weight. Okay, let's talk about the cap construction here now this is a lace front, mono top so you're going to be able to part wherever you want now. I didn't notice that it has this little poly strip right here in the front, which would be great for grip. Now Raquel Welch has a feature in their caps. It is called a memory cap and it is made with a very thin material that they say it kind of molds and just fits the shape of your head. So that is a technology that is unique only to Raquel Welch wigs. Now there is open lefting in the back for a nice stretchy comfortable fit it has this velvet nape. So it's really comfortable sitting on your head and velcro tabs to adjust the sets. It does have adjustable ear tabs that are velvet lines, so they're, nice and comfortable, and this is an average cap size. Alright, so the front piece of this wig the length is 11 and a half inches. Oh sorry, that was right out of the frame 11 and a half inches from the crown down is 11 and a half the sides are nine inches, the back is ten and a half and from the nape down is six inches. This is a heat friendly wig. So you could go through with your styling tools, set they recommended 325 and knock out any frizz that you might get and, of course, for curls is always best to reshape. I feel like with water and not a heat tool. Okay, I'm gon na go put her on and show you what she is all about. Be screen shot ready, because here are all the details on simmer from Raquel Welch. Okay, here she is right out of the box. My first impression is love her, so so cute. The texture and the curl pattern in this wig is just really natural. Looking really fun to play with. I feel like I'm already, like figuring out all these looks that you can do just by thinking finger combing her, since there is texture to the fiber, you can get a lot of volume and movement with this. Sometimes, if you have a piece there, the fibers are really silky. They don't want to do anything. They just want to stay put. They have some great like swishing this to them, but as far as getting like a fun voluminous look, it's harder to achieve. So with this kind of fiber, because it does have a little bit of a coarser texture to it, not only does it look more natural, but you can get some great volume in it. So if you just take your fingers and go in at the cap here and just kind of fluff it up at the roots, I mean look at all the volume that you can get. So if you like some big curly hair, I mean my goodness - you can get a lot of curl and that was just with my fingers. So I mean look at that. That is just some really really woo. That'S the big hair y'all or if you want to tame it down a little bit just go in there with your wide tooth comb and kind of calm it down. You can always define those curls with your fingers, some water, some contour cream, but this look is supposed to be an undone curl, so the curls aren't gon na be super defined. It'S just gon na be kind of a wavy look which i think is really great and really natural. Looking okay! So let's talk about this color again, this is ginger Brown, a medium brown and it has some Auburn's and, like some caramely pieces running through it, which i think is beautiful for fall, it's a great dimensional look. Did I mention that this was a newer piece? I don't know if I mentioned that or not in the first part of my video, but this is one of the new pieces from the Raquel Welch line. This is from their signature collection, which are like signature of Rockhill over the year. So this is one of their new pieces that you will find if you check out Patti's pearls and search Raquel Welch. Okay. So let's talk about what should we talk about? Let me give you a 360, so you can see all the way around alright. So here is the side: okay, so one kind of one length all the way around it's a great long, bob! Okay, let me show you an ear tuck on this. This side is really easy to get an ear tuck on, because they're not a lot of hair over here, so you can easily put it behind your ears, always like to leave a little bit out just so you don't see the harsh line of that ear tab. This one is a little bit harder to get an ear tuck just because there is so much hair over here, but you can do it and get it back out of your face like that. If you wanted to do that kind of look, my favorite way to wear a wig is to just pull it to the side and clip it, and then you can define some of those curls and get a fun. Look like that. That'S super cute or you can do a really low ponytail. You could almost pull out one piece here. That would be a fun look to do if you were going for an updo, but you can definitely get all that hair back with a low ponytail. Just like that, okay, I mean what else can I say about her? I really like this look. I, like the feel of it. The cap is really comfortable. I will say, I'm not used to wearing wigs. I wear mainly Stoppers, and so I was wearing fiery and if I she was starting to squeeze my head just a little bit. So when I took her off, it was kind of like the kind of feel. But then I put this one on and the cap was so much stretchier and lightweight that I was like. Oh, this feels really good like they did a really great job with the cap design. It'S not squeezing at all the ear tabs are exactly where they need to be: it's not bunching down at the nape of my neck, so this is a great fit if you are an average capsize. Okay, let me show you the the lace up here. I think they did a really good job on the lace. It'S not noticeable at all right here. I think the knotting is great when you get back here to the darker hair. Of course the knotting is darker and if you look really hard, you can see that poly strip that I showed you in the first part of the video that offers a little extra grip. You can see that coming through in the lace. It'S not super noticeable and if you weren't looking for it, I don't think you would see it but just good to know that it does have a little bit of visibility right there. The routing is, there's no routing on it, but you could always go in with a little bit of dark eyeshadow and create your own route just to give it just that much more of a natural look, but I think this piece is a natural looking piece. I don't think this looks Wiggy, I don't feel or see any permit ease back there, so you can get a nice part line all the way back with that mono top just for a natural look, alrighty yeah, I'm having a lot of fun with this. I think it's really cute. Okay, if you need the all new simmer in your life. Bye, Raquel Welch, head on over two weeks, bye, Patty's, pearls, calm. The color is ginger brown, alright y'all. I will see you next time on the hair, eyewear bye,
