How To: Blonde To Silver Wig Color + Install ☆ Ft Yolissa Hair

Is what's up you guys, it's really early in the morning: it's like 8 a.m and i'm really tired. It is my sister's birthday yay. So we're going to be doing a wig install, i already prepped the wig and everything. So i'm going to show you guys how i did that this is the package. I got a little beat up on its way over to me, but this is how it looks. The brand is ulyssa hair. This is the hair we're going to be working with today. She'S long, i got a cap size medium. This is 24 inches lace, front 13x4, hair density 180. So that's the details on this baby gave me a bunch of goodies. A wig capital head scarf. Yay love eyelashes never have enough eyelashes. I think this is like another little head scarf, also headband things more wig caps period and then this is their card and it comes with a little case for the hair cute cute, okay guys. So we are going to tone this bad boy, i'm going to take it out of the package and pretty much show you guys how i do it. This is what it looks like fresh out of the package she's very long, but as you can see, it's kind of a more yellowish blonde. So what we're going to do? These are our supplies. So i have all my supplies right here. I take these two wella toners. The shade is lightest ash blonde and usually two little boxes like this are enough cover the whole wig. These are pretty cheap but like five bucks, each you're gon na take two of these and then you're gon na take the developer. I feel like any developer works for this. Sometimes i use 30. Sometimes i use 10, just whatever we have in the house at the time. This one was only four dollars, so it's pretty inexpensive, then you're gon na take a bowl like this. It'S like a microwave, safe bowl. This is always what i use to like um dye, hair and stuff, and then you just want like a little brush like this, that you can get beauty supplies for like a dollar we're going to open these babies up we're just going to pour them into the Bowl, it does kind of have like a strong smell, so you might want to open the window. Oh my god, it smells so strong. This is the second bottle. What i do is i just put like equal part developer, then you're just going to take a little brush and mix it evenly pretty much. I just have plastic like trash bag laid out on the floor, and this is usually how i do it. Um, try not to get it on the floor because it will stain. I want to do, is start painting it on and try to get it as evenly as possible. So the parts i did tone i feel like you guys, could start to see it's getting a little like silver. I'M just gon na evenly coat the whole thing and then i'll show you guys when it's all done. So this is the hair fully coated. So i'm about to leave it for one hour. It says to leave it for like 20 minutes, but i always leave it for an hour just to be sure that it's really like absorbing the color and um. I did end up using three uh of those little bottles of toner. I kind of just ran out so yeah. This is what it looks like: okay, so after toning, the wig and everything, this is how she came out. It'S very silver. We have a lot of work to do so, let's stop checking and just get on into it. I have this hair growth oil that i've been using, and i put this on my scalp yeah guys it's my sister's birthday she's turning 27.. If you guys don't know my sister's also my roommate, she lives right next door to me so we're trying to pop out today. I just want to look cute one. I literally never get out of the house with this whole [ __ ] covey [, __ ]. I, like never get out of the house, so when i do, i want to at least look cute, so we're gon na go ahead and braid our hair back. You guys should know the routine by now, but yeah, i'm just putting them back with some bobby pins. So i just like um cross them over each other to make sure the hair is not going to go anywhere and then we are going to do our wig cap. So, as usual, i push back my baby hairs with gel and, like i follow up with the got2b spray, also to make sure they're not going to move anywhere, especially when you're working with light hair. You don't want the dark hair poking out so yeah, and then i'm going to keep slicking them back with my edge brush, make sure they're out the way. And then we are going to put our wig cap on and we need to extend it all the way until like under our nose yeah. So then, we're going to cut our eye holes out because you need to see girl, hello and then we're going to take our glass to be spray again and spray. Our forehead like along the hairline and i'm going to take my um. What'S it called blow dryer blow dryer and i've been doing this lately. Um, i feel like the got7 is not strong enough, because it's not the ultra glued one. It'S just like they got to be like regular one. So i've been using like glue to glue down my wig cap, so i just do like i just dot it on like do like kind of a thin layer and then like mush it to my forehead with the rat tail comb. So just like flatten it out and it kind of gives more of like a melted, look and then once again we're gon na blow dry it. So it dries quicker because it can take long to dry. Sometimes so yeah we're just blow drying it and then um yeah. I just cut it off off camera. I guess. But so now we are trying on the wig and it's getting very witchy vibes, but just wait till the end. It'S gon na be cute. I promise so now we're gon na be doing our second layer of glue, so this one's going to be a lot thicker than the last one, because this is what's going to be holding down our wig. So you want to put like a hefty amount and then just smooth it out with the rat tail comb, because you don't want it to be lumpy, you want it to be smooth and then you want to let it dry a little bit like get it like. A little bit tacky and then um start laying down the wig, and then i take the comb and kind of just like comb through, while i'm pushing down on the lace as well to make sure the hair doesn't stick to the lace or the glue or anything Like that, i'm gon na pull out just some baby hairs in the front and we're gon na put our wig band on okay, so we're gon na. Let that sit for a few minutes and we're gon na plug in our hot tools. So they can start heating up. I'M going to use my so while we have our wig band on we're going to start styling this hair, because i want to straighten it and it's going to be a lot of work. So i'm about to time lapse that for you guys and probably play something so before i straighten the hair, i'm just using this detangle spray, because after i washed it, i kind of just like left it out to dry and became like a tangled mess but yeah. I'M brushing it through and straightening it at the same time and that's going to really create like that smooth. Look that we want like. We want it to be, pin straight silky long, and you know the vibe so we're just brushing it through as we're straightening. It passing it over like a few times and yeah guys. This is taking me so long, so the hair itself is the longest [ __ ] like i did not know it was gon na, be this long. It'S literally like under my butt cheeks and it's so thick like i'm bored. This is taking me so long, but okay well on the last section, so we're at the top, and i had to charge my camera. So sorry, i wasn't like filming the whole time, but you know i'm just straightening my hair y'all see me: do it a hundred times, so this is the last section. So once we get to the top piece, we're just going to split it down the middle, because i love a good middle part and we are going to yeah make sure that that part is straight girl and then we're going to take our wax stick. And you know slick it down and then we're going to alternate between the hot comb and the straightener still brushing it through and just trying to get it to lay as flat as possible. So really take your time with the hot comb y'all. It'S gon na be a big help during this part, but yeah we're just finishing up straightening it. It'S looking good so far, though period okay, y'all, so i'm almost done finishing up just the top. I put this lipstick smells really good. Just helps to lay your hair down, so i'm just passing the hot comb over a few times make sure it's like lay down flat. Okay, this shirt is like falling off, so i'm just gon na take this off. Let'S cut the lace and the baby hair just gon na do our baby hairs like we always do. I always take this little like razor eyebrow shaper thing cut them like slightly above the eyebrow. Then i just take my little edge brush some gel and like really stick them down. So that's how i like to do mine. Everyone has a different way of doing theirs, but i feel like this one looks the best on me. I'M gon na do this half off camera and i will be right back okay, so this is how the hair is looking, but me, and my sister are gon na - go get breakfast for her birthday, we're getting a birthday brunch. So i will come back and finish this video later and do my makeup and show you guys the full look with the birthday girl. Okay, what's up baby, so i installed the hair yesterday. It'S actually the next day, because i didn't get to like do my makeup and stuff yesterday, so i had to come back and do a part two to this video, because i need to give you all the full effect. Okay, also it's snowing outside there's snow outside. I did go to the store yesterday and i picked up this like hair oil, because i feel like my hair, like is straightened really well and everything, but i think it's not like silky like super like pin street, so i wanted to try this hair oil. I just got the garnier one. I don't know if it's any good or not so i'm gon na just like put this on the hair and then straighten it again to see if it comes out like that silky smooth. Look that i'm going for it does smell. Really good, i don't want my hair to look look greasy either. I just put like a little bit just doing like one squirt on each side. I also got this at the store which it's like a little hair clip this [ __ ] was so expensive. First of all, it was like seven dollars for literally one clip. I thought it was so cute. It'S just like a little like rhinestone like star. I don't know if it'll look cute or stupid. Okay, it looks kind of chunky right now, but i feel like i don't know, i have to see what outfit i'm wearing. I haven't picked out my outfit yet period. It came out so much better today with the hair oil guys. It'S like super smooth and like pin straight i'm just gon na take our hot comb once again do like the forehead part. You see the difference between the side with the hot comb inside without the hot comb. It looks so much better. I think okay, so this is how the hair is looking. I love it super cute. I love how the front is just like kind of blue and the rest is just like straight up silver. Okay, i'm going to do my makeup off camera. I promise you guys a makeup. Video is coming where i want to show you guys my like everyday makeup routine, because it has changed a lot, but for right now i'm going to do my makeup off camera, or else this video is going to be way too long. But i will come back and show you guys the finished look. Ah here is the final look. So this is how it looks with the makeup and the outfit okay. I'M sorry like the lighting is a little weird, but it looks so good, like it's literally pinned straight definitely needed that hair oil. If you want to get that like pinched straight silky, look but yeah super cute, i'm absolutely in love with it. I love this silver. I love that it's almost like kind of bluish like right here on the front, but yeah super cute, i'm in love. I am obsessed with this hair. I think it looks so cute. I don't know why it's like super bright in here right now. Okay, i think that's better okay, so it's so cute! I'M obsessed like i want you guys to see it from the back.
