Wig Review High Octane By Raquel Welch In Shaded Iced Pumpkin Spice

Welcome back to wear wigs with me today, i am wearing high octane by raquel welch in the color shaded ice pumpkin spice. So let's get started. High octane is a new style by raquel welch for 2020.. It is a long ish layered style with those natural waves. Very casual everyday style, it's pretty new for raquel welch to be doing styles, like this i've kind of come to expect and think of my raquel welch styles as being fancy and very heavily styled, and this is kind of stepping off a little bit and gives us That more casual everyday style, it still has all of those really luxurious glamorous details that we expect from raquel welch the cap on high octane. If you've been following me for a while, then you know that raquel welch caps are my favorite caps of all time. They'Re substantial, they provide great coverage. I never have to worry about a raquel welch cap they're, always comfortable. They are a cap that i can wear for 12 hours. This one has a ear tab to ear, tab lace, front raquel. Welch also has one of the best lace fronts on the market. This has a full monofilament top, which gives you a wide space for parting. You can part on the right or the left or down the center. It just gives you so many more natural ways of parting and, if you're somebody that likes to get in there and mess with your wig and toss it from side to side, this kind of monofilament top gives you those kind of options. This cap also contains those really great substantial, raquel, welch, ear tabs they're felt covered, they have metal stays, they are very comfortable, it has an extended nape and velcro adjusters. Otherwise, it's open wefts. This is their memory. Three cap. It is very stretchy and, as you wear it, it starts to mold to your head shape. It just adds another layer of how comfortable these caps are. Let'S talk about the measurements, the front is ten and a half inches, and you can see my measurements on the screen and that's going to give you an idea of how this falls on me and how it might fall on you. So take your measurements. So the front is 10 and a half the sides in the back are listed at 13. Inches says that the crown is 12 inches and the nape is 11 inches and this style weighs 5.4 ounces. I feel like the average weight for most wigs is right around four ounces, so this is a little bit on the heavier side. Doesn'T feel that way. I think with all these layers, it's a lot of hair, but it doesn't feel like a heavy wig part of what makes raquel welch wigs, even though they do have a substantial amount of hair on them, because their caps are so comfortable. It really opens them up to being a wear all day, everyday kind of wig. I mean they are just one of the most comfortable wigs out there. The color i chose is shaded iced, pumpkin spice. This is my favorite raquel welch color, since they came out with it november 2019.. It'S absolutely gorgeous. It'S that light, orangey red, it's just so pretty. I think it's very natural. Looking it's got auburn tones. It'S got coppery tones golden, but it has that brightness to it. That i really love some other colors that i can wear with. My skin tone is golden russet glazed strawberry, glazed, cinnamon, rusty auburn. I love all four of those colors by raquel welch, but this color gives me that golden that i love from golden russet and glazed strawberry. But then it also gives me those rich reds from rusty, auburn and glazed strawberry. And it's just like it's turned up a notch and brightness, and it brings out that orangey red color that i love and that most resembles my natural hair color. If you follow me for hair colors and you've been looking for one by raquel welch, this is it shaded, iced pumpkin spice. This color only comes in their heat friendly styles and that's something that they do with their colors. Glazed cinnamon and glazed strawberry only come in synthetic golden russet rusty, auburn shaded ice pumpkin spice only come in heat friendly. Let'S talk about the permatease and the hair fibers like i said these hair fibers are heat friendly, so you can straighten this. You can add more curl, i can't imagine changing it. I love this style so much i will say i feel like since i started wearing wigs almost two and a half years ago, raquel welch has improved their heat friendly, hair fibers, because i don't feel that these are as waxy as i feel like they used to Be some of my earlier ones like maximum impact, i feel like they felt like they had a coating on them. When i got it, i don't feel like this feels that way kind of the ones that i bought over the last eight or nine months from raquel welch and they're heat friendly. I just don't feel like it has felt as coded even free time and free time came out quite a while ago. I don't feel like that felt like it had such a coating on it either. If you've been a little bit nervous about raquel welch heat friendly fibers, i invite you to try one. You might not want to try a long one like this, because as you'll hear from anybody that reviews raquel welch heat friendly, hair fibers these long ones that rub against your clothes and your body. It creates friction and that's how you get kind of that fuzzy. Frayed. Look the other thing that causes it is constantly messing with it, and that is what i have learned over the past couple years. It'S hard not to get my hands in there mess with it, because i like to do that. I like to flip my hair back and forth with these kind of styles, the more i do that the more i run the risk of stretching those hair fibers and causing them to fray and get frizzy and get ratty. I mean it's soft though, like i just i don't know, i feel like they've improved their heat friendly, hair fibers over the past couple years, because before i feel like they tangled way easier, i feel like i've, tangled them up and frizzed them out a lot more And i'm just not doing that with this one and i've had it for and been wearing it for about a week. I am very gentle with these. I don't pull on them a lot, even when i'm running my fingers through them, there's no tangles up there. So as i do that i'm not pulling on any tangles when i go to take it off, it will be tangly under here i'll work, very gently on those knots to get them out and i won't pull on the hair fibers. They do require a little bit more of a gentle hand, but i think it's worth it they're pretty. I also think that they look very natural, even if they take a little bit more work. I mean in general, raquel welch, wigs are on the higher end for pricing, so i tend to be a little bit more careful with them, anyway, heat friendly or not heat friendly, okay, so i've talked about the cap and the measurements, the color, the permatease and the Hair fibers my overall thoughts about high octane. I love it. This is a style that we all have been waiting for by raquel welt. It is that casual, wavy layered it it kind of falls apart at the end, which just makes it look more natural. I am so excited that they came out with this style. I think we've all been waiting for it. It is so different than most raquel welch styles. I love it. I think you guys are gon na love it.
