The On Edge Wig by Gabor is a "shattered" below-the-chin bob that's edgy and fashion-forward. Tousled, tapered layers throughout create the perfect undone look while longer pieces in the front flatter the face. The sheer lace front and monofilament part give you plenty of styling options.

Hi guys it's misty and Kim from Amy's wig boutique in Dallas, Texas, and today we are going to review another way, and you saw I'm excited about this one because the when we saw it like a lot when I saw how long I'm like that is so Pretty yeah, so pretty it's a good boar style, it's called the on edge. It is a beautiful style, but before we get started, let's talk about what we've got on. I have on ahead of the curve in sugared licorice, which is SS 4468 by Raquel Welch, and so it's a new color and a new style, and we did a review on this. But anyway, we did and when she put that on their view, I'm like that is so: oh, the color, the colors just striking on a whole lot of people, and you also have Raquel Welch on. I do I have on bewitched, which is a style I liked for a while and it's the SS 130, and so just nice, red yep, beautiful on you getting ready for the holidays. That should be my red, yeah, yeah, okay. So, let's, let's see what we got on edge, okay, on edge yeah, the color in the book is a super platinum blonde, with a ton of a red tone rate, and the picture is amazing when we got it in how about a hand. Fine looks a little weird, but on it looks better, but what we decided to do is do the same exact color, one rooted one unrooted and it is called the Sunkist beige, the GL 23 101, and I'm doing the SS and she's doing just the regular right. So it is platinum. Yeah we've talked before about these blondes that come out and they're, so shiny, a dry shampoo on all of mine to calm that shine down. So once we get it out under these lights, it is quite shiny, yeah. You know what this and I mean this is obviously way lighter than what I need to be wearing with my dark nodules but um. This is not. This is one of those light Platinum's that has a really good color tone blend. It'S not too cold. It'S not too beige and a lot of times. What, though, on the plans I'll go kind of yellowy mm-hmm and I feel like as a hairstylist, I mean. Thankfully, when I started doing wigs, you know this whole platinum thing wasn't as popular as it is now, but it's really hard to achieve this unless you've already got natural blonde hair, and but you look at this, I mean, like I said: we've got some heavy lights On so um it's kind of shiny, but look at that Ruth yeah, if you, if you had like you, know strawberry, like brown kind of strawberry hair, then that's the perfect root color, not everybody has dark hair like you and I do to have that dark root And so for a lot of people that dark roots way too dark. I almost feel like. I would wear this if I lighten my brow, because my these brows are all makeup and I don't have hardly any hair, so I think if I lighten it, I might wear this in the summer. It'S very beautiful on you, it's, but I really like the style. Let'S talk about that, Oh super lightweight, super comfortable, nice a-line stack. I mean look how the hair just moves y'all, we are behind it. Yeah, it's just wing to the swing. Yeah. I'Ve already done it. If people probably wonder where I'm doing cuz, when you were talking, I wasn't even I had um, but it's super cute. Let'S talk about how long it is okay, gosh it's just like I don't so y'all have heard me say a million times. I don't have a forehead, so a lot of times things that don't have a bang just stay in my face, but this is how much does this weigh? I mean this is light weight. You know it feels super light weight. Three ounces yeah, that's great and it's so comfortable, so comfortable. Okay, the front of this is seven inches, crown eight and a half size, eight and a half back six and a half nape three inches. It is a monofilament part with a lace front. There lace front, it ends right at the temple, some of them the companies are starting to go down a little bit farther. This one is just a normal right here, and I just I like it. I like this style and it's it's got a little bit of phrase framing, but not too much, so it kind of pulls away from your face. I wish I look like her. This is the actual picture. Yeah, that's why we ordered this week. That is exactly like that gosh, it's just beautiful that blue. Maybe I should move it. That'S right that would change everything, no we're kind of neon the Gabor scene, because I feel like their qualities improved it has. It has and that's that's the one thing - that's really and made us more apprehensive, and but we've been we, we kind of dipped our toe in the water, with just one style and we are getting a really good feedback from all of our customers on how it's Wearing the fibers wearing well they're constructed well they're, comfortable and again you you get into a new company, and now you have opened up a whole new color line, so there's colors available through the Gabor line that aren't available at any other color. There'S a color like this that I know of an any other company that we have exactly and just with the comfort of the cap, I'm speaking from someone who has a head. That'S on the larger side and a lot of hair. That comfort factor is really big. Yeah, you know - and I I think Gabor is nice and stretchy and lightweight wheels. How many styles do we have now that we just love five yeah? We just love. I mean it's like we're really slow about getting on, but then all of a sudden we get one like. Oh, we got ta have this in that in this, no we're just real picky, and so, if the Vipers not gon na wear well - and we have you know we get asked quite a bit - how come you don't carry this line? How come you don't carry this line? It'S not that they haven't said are the products to us and that we've looked at them. If they're, not quality, we will not carry it in the store period. So some people like that, but I wear my hair like this. A lot you could do that yeah, you could that's cute. Did you look lip there? I like this wig Kimberly. I do too so on edge by Gabor. Does it make you feel edgy yeah? What does that mean? I don't know I don't know, but I feel, like I'm sure you all will be edgy now, you're, never too old to be edgy. That is one thing we tell everybody you're, never too old. To that you see we got some of these women in here. That are up in age and I'm they put me to shame. I mean they are just smoking and they've got that hair and that makeup and got it going to attitude and I'm like, I need to sit down and learn from you. Yes, all right, so I'm on edge Gabor. What was the color again a sun-kissed beige, I'm doing the SS it's GL. 23. 101 SS & GL, 23. 101, all right so Rudi, we're sisters that have gone to the salon at the different times. You know more. TIme Enough: Love that rooted version! I hate a black root on a light blonde wig because I'm a natural blonde and never have had roots that dark. It's a great combo! Cute style!

Maranda Rock: Idk about Gabor fibers but I know Belle tress has wonderful fibers that wear wonderfully even though they are HD fibers. I love many of their bob styles. The only complaint that I could possibly have about the brand in general is their wigs have kinda wimpy ear tabs. On the other hand, their cafe collection has beautiful vibrant colors that blend like a Solon style color. The lace front is great on colors like bombshell blonde with a beautiful natural light shade root, but their darker colors unfortunately do show more knots than I personally like. In the summer I always go for their butter beer blonde. Beautiful platinum with light faded in brownish, light red tint root. Gorgeous! Just a comment not suggesting you carry. Love this Gabor style. Love both you girls too! As a fellow southern girl...Panama City Beach Florida, I have to wear the most lightweight wigs I can find in summer bc of the EXTREME heat and humidity. I LOVE ur YouTube channel and watch every week. I especially love when you did the segment on sister wigs for curly and straight styles that was the most awesome video ever

I recently purchased it, and not used to a lot of permatease. so it feels kind of bulky around the crown bc of where permatease is placed, which I’m not use to, mine is a lot curlier than other versions I have seen I love it! it is beautiful but I need a little hair help here guys. Melissa Carter: I have a Igripe about roots.while I understand that "roots" are a thing, I am older and it's not a thing for my generation. I have always been a blonde , so to try and buy a wig that has lighter roots or no roots is practically impossible. My hair is now graying. So, again if I wanted a natural root, it certainly wouldn't be dark or that warm brown color that some come with. The arguement that roots make the piece look more natural doesn't make sense for an aging woman or women with naturally lighter hair. Why can't some of this companies make a piece with no roots or at least lighter cooler ashy colors to help this generation out? When I was younger having roots was not a good thing, so that stigma still sticks in my head. I wish wig companies would at least try to cater to an older group . I am not the only one who feels this way,its been discussed alot in groups I belong to
