Today, we're going to be looking at how to pick the perfect blonde color, whether you're a natural blonde or not. There is a blonde that will look good on you. Most wig companies agree on certain numbers, meaning a specific color. Today, we're going to be looking at the blonde colors offered by Polly Young if you've seen my other video on the color chart for brunettes you'll. Remember that those smaller the number, the darker the hair color is so a two is a black. But if you skip up to fourteen, that is a blonde, but it's a muted brownish-blond, solid colors will have just one number like a 14, a 16 and 18 colors with multiple numbers like a 14 / 26 a is a blend of more than one color. Each wig manufacturers, colors mil, vary slightly and don't forget. Your monitor will also vary slightly in how it appears. Blonds can also have either a warm cast to them like a golden color or a cool ash color. That is more muted. So if you look at a 22, it is a light blonde. As you get up to a 24 or 26, it gets warmer more of a strawberry blonde. Then you have 101, which is a platinum which is the lightest blonde. You can possibly get without being pure white and then because it's not a natural hair color, it's a little bit off of the normal numbering system. It also makes a great alternative to gray, to give you a more natural look in your blends. If you're not sure what blonde color will look best on you, most manufacturers will give you a sample. They will either give it to you for free, like poly young, or they will charge you a small five ten dollars for a couple swatches. This was taken outside and in direct sunlight, so it can vary whether you're indoors or not. A 14 is almost a brown. It is a muted ash blonde. The next one is a blend of two colors called Sunkist blonde. It is a medium ash blonde with highlights of a medium gold. Blonde 17101 is called sugar and spice and is a mix of a light ash brown with highlights of a platinum ash or blonde frost. The closer you look, the more variations in color you can see, although that might be two colors. There is probably three or four colors, because you will have a few highlights and lowlights in 1822 is called warm toffee and that's a mix light ash brown with a light blonde frost 24:14 is a mocha frost which is a brownish blonde. With light ash blonde highlights, sf 1228 is a salon frost, so it's lighter on the top and darker on the bottom. 12 is a light golden brown and the 28 is a almost ginger strawberry blonde. You notice most of the blonds look more natural, have strands of brown or base that is Brown. Sf 13/16 is called misty mocha. It is a mix of a very light brown with a 16 which is a honey blonde color for poor young. If your wig color begins with SF, it's part of their captivating colors color chart which is supposed to mimic salon colors with your highlights and your low lights, I'm going to show you a wig and the color butter chose. This is Apollo young wig and it comes in the color SF 1026, so it has salon Frost, some kind of golden highlights at the top very natural-looking they're, not chunky or anything, and then a golden muted blonde and with the base of a darker medium kind of Brown: here's how it compares to the color samples. Now I don't have the exact one and each color sample just snaps out it's just taped on that car and you can put it on a ring or a piece of ribbon. The wig is an SF 1026 in the sample. I have is an SF 1228, so it's pretty pretty close. You can see that there's a blend. This color swatch is a blonde one in a 14. So it is a solid color. It'S not an exact match to the wig, but you can see even the solid colors. There will be one or two strands that are highlighted or low lighted to give it a natural effect. And then, if you want a blend, I'm more complicated. Your number, the more colors your wig, will have. I like this blonde wig and buttered toast it's not too brassy or too bright. If we compare what we've looked at so far too much on Reneau color chart you'll see it's very similar. The 14 is that light. Almost brown blond, the 26 is a bright gold blog and it's hard to tell on this that it is actually close to a strawberry blonde. Hopefully you found this video helpful and if you have any video suggestions, please leave me a comment below and I wanted to give a shout out to where I learned what all these numbers and colors meant, which is a youtuber called and wigging out with Bobby Z And I will leave a link in the description bar and, as always, don't forget to Like comment or subscribe.

Joan Boes: I like that you do Paula Young wig reviews. You seem to be the only YouTuber that reviews her wigs. Thanks.

DogMom: I learn so much from your reviews. You are so straightforward and not too lengthy like other popular reviewers. So refreshing!

Frankie Lee: I really appreciate this color breakdown and I value your videos. Thank you for reviewing Paula Young. I'm just starting to get to know this line. Best, Wendy

Miss Chris: This is a great video! Thank you very much for posting it! :-)

Liza Rosa: Thanks so much for reviewing Paula Young wigs. You seem very honest. You have very good videos and look very good in that.

Framboise: This is so helpful! PY color charts are so difficult to figure out and thre aren't a whole lot of reviews on them. It would be even better if, while you describe the particular color, showing the swatch, you could stay on the iage rather than move up and down, so that we can actually see which swatch is being described (because when the camera goes down we lose the numbers nd they all look the same).

Mona Attianese: Thanks for Paula young wig reviews... she has an equivalent to the named brands,,, minus most of will g construction pluses... but she is not bad ...given the price.. for many that's our price range... so again thank you ❤️

Suzette Bowers ED.S: One of the most helpful videos I have eve watch ! Awesome

Sharon Clement: I just ordered 3 wigs from Paula Young as a new wig wearer at 70, looking forward to it. Love ur video but can u do one on a solid color fabric, for background, as the floral prints in background, blend in 2 much with swatches

KKKKAAAARRRRYYYYNN: This was very helpful

sweatintotheoldies: Thank you so much, for this!

Green Tea: i needed this. thank you!!!

Mona Attianese: Thank you sooo much ..most helpful!,,,

Beauty From Within: Do you have color chart videos on the reds and browns of Paula Young colors?

Frankie Lee: You know quite a bit about Paula Young wigs, so I'm asking for your wisdom on color. I ordered Gayle (which I love) and a few others in SF10/26 Buttered Toast, but it's really too dark for me. I need a lighter brown, not so warm, and prefer pale blonde highlights to the golden. (Think Noriko's Frosti Blonde, the original one, which is light brown w/pale blonde highlights. Not as platinum as the color I saw on your Frosti Blonde video.) I just ordered Gayle in SF13/16. Will that work better...or is there another color with dimension that you recommend? Thank in advance. Wendy

Chris Hamilton: Ty for the explanation about some of the colors.

SHERRY SUBLETT REGAN: EXCELLENT

sweatintotheoldies: Shoot, I cannot find your video on brunette colors by Paula Young. HELP!?
