Raquel Welch Wig Colors - True2Life Color Rings - For Beauty In Our 60S

Yes, it is so I've been watching all my mature ladies on YouTube and we have an explosion of wig wearers. You know Nisha started with the wigs and then the next thing, I'm looking around for other wig tutorials and I found Jill she's on my channels. She Jill does wig reviews and other people are doing wig reviews, and it got me to thinking about my hair because I have very fine thin here. It breaks easily, it gets damaged easily. It dries out. It'S a constant battle for me, I'm always talking to my beautician about my hair and trying different oils trying to keep it moisturized, so it doesn't break off and I'll talk about some of those products, those hair products in another video. But anyway I was talking to my cute asian, and I said you know what I'm thinking about getting a wig, I'm watching all these wigs videos. She goes well, you know, instead of buying a wig, why don't we cut your hair? So you don't have to buy a wig and let's get it where you know it's more healthy and so forth. So I said wonderful because I've already been looking. I was looking at all these wigs online and you know seeing which style I thought was good for me, some of the short wig styles. I really really loved, and this is one of them. So I said to my beautician: why don't we cut my hair short and it'll be light easier for me to take care of which it is? I love my new hair. It'S so easy to take care of it's so easy to style. I don't have to fight with it, so she cut this hairstyle on me and I thought well, you know what now, if I want long hair again, I'm lying here and wig. So that's what I'm looking! So that's what I'm looking at doing is getting. You know like a shoulder length wig, so when Ron and I go out on dates and so forth, you know if I want to do something different with my hair. That'Ll be kind of a fun thing. I'Ve never had a wake before so I thought you know what I'm going to get away to just be see how it goes because it seems like to me that these wigs these days, oh you can't even tell they're a wig. So what I did was. I went to sit sister, wigs, calm and I'll leave their link down below, because a lot of the mature ladies on YouTube, have used this sister wigs calm to purchase their wigs. So I ordered a rat Cal, Welsh color, ring to make sure I could get the right color and I have it here - I'm going to do swatches with the color right, so you can see what those look like so yeah. That'S my new say my new haircut. A lot easier to take care of love it and I will show you these swatches. You know I looked over a lot of different ways online. I am a big fan of Rocco Walsh anyway, so I'm going to go with the Raquel Welch wig, so I ordered a the Raquel Welch color ring weird all the different colors. So let me go through these with you, so you can get an idea of what they look like. I have to put on a pair of glasses. So let's start with this first color ring right here. So let's just start with this first color right here. This is dark chocolate and the number is rl6. Eight. Here'S, the color and I'll put it up next to my own hair. So you can see color this dark chocolate. You know it seems like it does, have some kind of light sable running through it and the highlight. I think this is you know pretty close to my natural hair color. Then the next one is ginger Brown, and that is our l5 27. And here it is. It'S a warm a warm brown with warm Albarn highlights running through it. Actually, the color of my hair right now, because I got highlights in my hair, so I could wear this color then the next color is blonde sable RL 628 and this very similar warm brown with feet. Auburn colors running through it. These three colors here bronze, sable, dark chocolate and ginger brown. Let me hold them up, so you can see the difference in the three of them. The ginger brown is definitely slider warmer lighter. These two are almost identical, very close, but I would say you could wear either one of these colors, the bronze sable in the dark chocolate. If you were in that, you know color range, then we have copper mahogany RL 630. It is copper. Mahogany is a darker Brown. Has a few highlights, but not many. You can see it's darker. We have black coffee RL for six, not a lot of highlight through this. It'S pretty dark brown dark, dark brown we have off-black rl2, for this is be what I call a very dark brown. Yes, it is tough enough black. It is it's very dark. Here'S golden walnut RL 1125, lots of light lots of yellow gold highlights with a medium brown. I would say here is sunlit Chestnut RL 1012. This is more of a cool Brown, doesn't have a lot of warm colors in it and really no highlight it's just kind of very little highlights in this. It'S all just kind of a cool Brown. This is called cinnabar, RL 32:31, a dark to medium brown with the cinnamon colored highlights pretty color yeah. That'S pretty, wouldn't mind, learn that then we have fiery copper, it's an RL 31:29. I kind of like this color. It is. Brown is kind of a light brown with light. Auburn highlights running through it and a little bit of that cinnamon color. That'S see ya sassy. I like it deepest Ruby, it's an RL 33:35, and this is a deep dark chocolate red, I would say. Hmm. I saw a girl at the ball game last night with hair this color, and I thought you know what maybe I'll do this with my hair. Pretty then we have golden russet RL 2925. This is a mixture of medium brown, light brown, a warm yellow, boron and a kind of a caramel color very pretty well, my camera battery went dead, so I had to film the rest of this the next day. So that's why I look a little different. So back to these colors, this is the rusty Auburn RL 30-27, and it is a rust color. With light, it's a light brown, a warm light brown with golden highlights through it. Okay, now, let's go on to the blonde colors. This is butterscotch RL, 25. 27. There. It is, and it looks like butterscotch just as the name implies. I would say this is a warm gold blonde with a light warm brown running through it. Next color is honey, toast ral. 2116. I would say this is a medium brown with really warm with warm with warm gold and red reddish brown highlights. But you can see it's a cooler color next color is golden pecan RL 1388. I would say this is a cool actually blonde, with a cool wall with cool brown running through it pale gold, wheat, our ale 1422. This is the color of wheat with a dark blonde, I would say running through it: honey ginger. This is RL 1425 different. Colors of warm gold and bronze running through this very pretty so then they also have a pale golden honey, which is an RL 1688 lighter paler, but it has got some gold dark blonde running through it in a very light ashy blonde. The next color is called biscuit: RL 1923. This would be an ash blonde with some darker blonde running through it, and then we have honey, toast RL 1216. I think I could wear that color. I would say this is light brown with gold running through it. I think I could wear this color. Well, it's it's actually kind of a cool color when you put it up next to my hair, this more on the cool side. Okay, let's go to the gray. This is sugar and charcoal RAL; 511. Definitely a cool black with silver running through it, color, okay, next one silver and smoke. This is our L, 119, so little lighter than the last one still some dark steel, some black running through it and silver silver RL, 55 RL, 56, 60, and it is silver, a cool silver. It is definitely a silver and smoke RL 38, so it has silver, but it's got a little light brown running through it. Okay and the last swatches are the shaded colors shaded, meaning the ruts are dark and then the rest of the hair is a mixture of colors. This is shaded platinum, it's our el61 3ff, meaning shaded. So you can see the route is dark and then fades out to this very light. Gold boron next up is shaded biscuit RL 19/20, three SS ash blonde with the dark brown root. Shaded hazelnut. This is our l8 slash $ 29, and some lighter brown highlights through this Brown here. This is actually the color of my hair. This is the color I am going to go with when I get my first wig. Is this color right here here? Is the shaded cappuccino, RL 12/20 to SF very pretty? It has a lot of different colors running through it. It'S got the dark route, some light blonde, some medium brown, some little gold highlights: Shadid wheat, RL, 14 /, 22 SS, again lots of different blondes and browns running through this. That my friends concludes all the different color swatches on the wrap, Cal Welch color wheel. Lots of beautiful colors to choose from I found about five colors. I would say that are close to my actual hair color, so I am going to be ordering a Raquel Welch wig. I don't know which one but stay tuned, we'll see. Okay, so that is it for this tutorial.
