Synthetic wigs with bangs are a great way to add an extra oomph of style and help give you a more natural hairline. But even if you love that beautiful sweeping bang or curtain bang look, sometimes those bangs just get in the way and you want to tuck them back. But when you're talking about a wig that has cap construction, sometimes a little bit of finesse is necessary. To give you that perfect pulled back thing look so today i am giving you my tips and tricks for securing curtain and sweeping bangs in a wig. Let'S go welcome to the wiggy woman, where i give you wig and hair topper reviews and tutorials. Today we are talking about synthetic wigs with bangs when we have these long, beautiful sweeping bangs. They give us a lot of reassurance for the hairline of our wigs right. Most of the time, you really don't have to worry about whether or not your lace is showing or what kind of cap construction is visible. Underneath your wig, but sometimes these bangs get in the way, and you just want to pull them back for a bit. But you don't want to expose that cap construction underneath so today i'm giving you my tips and tricks for how to secure your long sweeping bangs in a wig. Today'S wig was provided by the wig company, and this is rock me - and this is in color 824, which is a beautiful medium brown, with these multi-dimensional highlights very, very gorgeous wig and one of my favorite things about it beyond these layers. Is this beautiful side? Swept bang and i love this side swept bang. I think it's very on trend right now. However, sometimes when i'm at work, i really want that kind of out of my face, so it doesn't flop around while i'm trying to type and get things done so today, i'm sharing my tips for how i pull that back without exposing the cap construction underneath so Without further ado, let's dive into my tips and tricks for dealing with synthetic wigs with bangs before we get started, it's important to know the cap construction that you're working with this wig has a large lace front, but these hard pieces on the end is the part That we are going to want to keep concealed even when we're pulling back our bangs. So now i'm going to put it on and let's get styling this synthetic wig with bangs. So while this synthetic wig has a lace front, many of the techniques that i'm going to show you today are going to be good. Whether your wig is a hard front or a lace front. This side swept bang is very long and it's very stylish, but it does kind of get in the way. So you'll see here that, because this has a lace front, it's going to give me more options for styling these bangs away from the face. The first trick that we're gon na do is essentially a tuck behind the ears, look with a bobby pin, so this is not going to expose your hairline, so this is a great technique. If you have a hard front or a basic cap wig or if you're, just not comfortable, showing your hairline with a wig, i'm going to put the hair up against my ears, you can tuck it behind your ears if you'd like, but because synthetic wigs with bangs Have ear tabs we want to actually bobby pin the hair to the wig on the ear tabs to give it a very secure fit, and then we don't want it to be too tight. So i'm going to pull it away and i've got a couple stragglers here. Just make sure you kind of get everything together and make sure that you pull it away from the cap a little bit. So you get a nice tuck behind the bangs. Look, that's not too tight, and this is the tucked behind the ear. Look. I hear that 90s pompadour. Bang look is back, so i am totally here for it. I'Ve got a little clip and this is only going to work if you have a lace, front, wig and you're only going to want to pull as much hair as you have a lace front completely surrounding it. So i'm going just shy of where the border of that lace front is i'm pulling the hair back and securing it with a clip. If you put too much of it back, you can always pull some ahead so that you don't have any of that hard firm cap construction showing underneath last but not least, my personal favorite, and this is the faux headband look. So this is also going to work. If you have a lace, front wig - and luckily this one has a very nice one - i put the headband on and i'm just pulling down the fibers that are in front of that hard firm cap construction, where the lace front ends. When i do that, i'm going to keep that nice and concealed and all you're going to see with the hair pulled back is going to be the lace front and then because synthetic wigs retain their styling. I am smoothing that out. So i get a nice natural secured bang. Look if you want that faux headband look, but you don't want to pull the bangs away from the face. You can use two clips to secure your wig sort of like that tucked behind the ears look, but on top of your wig and then i'm going to put the headband on top and then we're going to remove the clips. This will allow you to pull the bangs back into the headband, but will leave a lot of that cap construction underneath now we smooth out those fibers and we are ready to go. This is the faux headband look. I hope this helped give you some ideas on how to work with the cap construction of your particular wig, to give you a very natural look when securing your synthetic wig with things. Robbi Espinosa: Hi, I'm new to wigs. My favorite wig is too big. No matter how I secure it the back of the cap bunches up in a big lump. What can I do?
