Wig Review: Henry Margu Harper In R33 And Mane Attraction Hollywood A Comparison

Hey guys, okay, so I'm here today, I'm a little excited. Actually I'm here today to show you a new way, but I'm also here to do a wake comparison and that's always fun. So the way I have on right now is Henry Margo Harper in the color 33 H. I have never had an actual Henry Marku wait before this is my first time remar goose. So I'm really excited about that and let me describe the tag here. I did find Harper on eBay for a very good price, more than half off, and this color, though, may not be available. I'M not really sure so. 33 H is the color. I did try to look up online. What the description of 33 H's and when I went to the Henry Marku color chart, I didn't find this color, so I'm not sure if it's a discontinued, color or not. I hope not. It'S such a pretty red. It'S! This really vibrant kind of Auburn. With these red or copper highlights, which is why I think it's got the H in it, it's so pretty. I just love it: it's not an in-your-face red by any means, but it is red, and so it's so pretty, but the reason I bought this wig was because I really like my Hollywood. I have a little bit of trouble with the permit tease in Hollywood. Just a little bit, I still like the wig, but I every time I put it on. I do have a little bit of trouble with that perma teeth, because Hollywood has a lot of permit ease and, as I was looking at Harper, there aren't a ton of videos out there on Harper, but there are a few and as I was looking at her, I was thinking are these the same wig? So let me tell you a little bit about Henry Margo and main attraction. So some of you may know this already, but some of you may not so main attraction is actually Henry Margo's budget line, so everybody online and at though in the wake store, is to say, like that's, not supposed to be some big secret. Don'T talk about the fact that main attraction as part of the Henry Marku line Henry Marku doesn't like that. But I don't understand that because hundred mongoose tag is in in Hollywood. So I don't know what that's all about, but it is definitely a Henry Marku budget line, so I've done a video on Hollywood. I'Ve done a video on Broadway, which is another main attraction way, and I've done a four-color review on main and main attraction. So I have a number of videos so when I found Harper for such a good price, I just couldn't resist because first of all, I really loved red, and so this color really intrigued me, but I really wanted to see how these two compared cuz. When you look at their specs they're, very similar length layers, all of their specs are really close within, like a quarter of an inch of each other, maybe a half an inch in some cases. So I suspect that they're kind of the same wig one is a much lower price point. So, let's just talk about the differences. Okay, so first of all, Harper is so pretty it's a it's a longer wig. You know a lot of people call via this length mid length. I call it long cuz I'm used to Bob. Then you know not long weeks, but it's only about my you know my collarbones right about here. You know it doesn't go down to my girls or anything like that. So it's not super long, but I consider this a long way for me, so you can see that we'll just kind of give you a side-to-side glitter view of her hair, so Harper is really curly. I like these curls so much. These curls are fantastic, just lovely and by the way this is out of the box. This is not I didn't. Do I didn't sprayer with water? I didn't really do anything. I shook her out, maybe a little bit, but this is really out of the box. So she's looking pretty good, she has a longer bang and it relatively straight compared to like the curls right next to it, as you can see, which i think is a cute look. I don't mind this at all and the bangs stay off my face really nicely. So I have worn Harper twice, not four full days. I wore her for a few hours the other night, and then I wore her just out to dinner with my husband last night and she is very, very sorry, I'd like an itchy nose. That means somebody's thinking about me. I think I heard that somewhere anyway uh she is comfortable, definitely behaves herself doesn't get in in my eyes, just really I just enjoy. I have enjoyed Harper the last couple of times. I'Ve worn her very much. Harper has a lace front and it is a pretty deep lace front. So there's her lace front and it's its production, pretty good. You make sure she's straight. It'S pretty good um. You could wear Harper, pull back and not worry about the nodding. So it's definitely a really good lace. Front come on camera, stay with me here. So if you put a little clip in her, you can definitely do that and it's it's it's not bad at all. It'S not the best lace front. I'Ve ever seen, but it's it's a passable lace front for Brooke for putting your hair up. So that's really great and I like how deep it is because it almost gives the illusion of scalp. So if you wanted to try to shift these things around at all, you could so that is really great and and Harper likes to part right where she's parted, and I actually like the part right here. So I have no problem with that. Pervert ease, so harburg shows those that fit though she's got the lace front, but she doesn't have any a filament and she does have some Kermit ease. It is minimal, it really is pretty minimal. I mean it. There'S. Definitely some perfect ease in here, but it's not like pillowy poofy. I don't feel like. I need to do this and work to flatten her at all. So in that case, as a matter of fact, I like to putt - probably love her a little bit, and so in that case I think the permit ease is appropriate. You can see it just a little bit because there's no monofilament there, but it isn't terrible I've. Never adhered so she's pulling back off my head when I'm messing with her but um, you know there's lots of tactics. You can do to hide that a little bit if it bothers you, it doesn't bother me and again. I think I've said this in in other videos when you've got a curly style like this. The permit ease doesn't really draw attention to itself because you've got curl. You'Ve got some flyaways, so it just sort of fits that whole style. So in that respect, this is great, and I like her so much I do. I just think she's. So pretty I constantly just want to kind of play with her. This to me is like princess hair because it's the curls and the layers - it's just really really great. So let's compare Harper to Hollywood, though so, where I said that you know there's a little bit of permit tease, but it's not poofy. Hollywood is very poofy there. So let me do a switch for you here, really warm in my bathroom. I can't wait till it cools off outside, so that'd be cooler in my bathroom because I get so warm during these videos but anyway. So let's get Hollywood on here. Hollywood has been warned. I don't know five or six times she hasn't been washed, yet she's, probably getting she might be getting due for a wash mean. That'S you know you can wear wigs a lot more times before washing, but she does seem to be getting a little frizzy. So um right off the bat she has really pretty curls too, but they're not as pronounced as Harper, and they don't go up quite as far where Harper had a bunch of curls up in here she Holly would stay straight for longer. I did measure the lace front on the two of them and the lace front is exactly the same depth at an inch. So it's an inch lace front and no, it's an inch and a half lace front and that's the same. The lace fronts are virtually identical. I really couldn't tell a difference in the lace front where I could see a difference within the ear tats. They both have your tabs. They both have metal stays and none of them so they're adjustable but Harper's ear tabs are just a bit more substantial than Hollywood. Not super significant by any means, but there is a bit more to these. Then there is on the Hollywood and then the other area I saw a difference was in the nape. This nape is about a quarter of an inch wider, deeper. Then Hollywood Hollywood still has an extended nave, just not quite as extended other than that they both have velcro adjusters. They both have open Westing. The this, the some kind of permit eyes area, looks exactly the same. It'S just that this one. I can feel the permit to use it's pillowy. I can feel it all in here and I can't I can't feel it the same way. It is not pillowy on Harper, but it is pillowy on here. So I think that's another main difference. Hollywood just looks and feels a lot fuller to me when I have her on the hair, fibers feel dryer and a little cheaper. Now I wish they were both brand new so that I could tell you how they compare to each other brand-new. But you know this: one hasn't been worn that many times and I do feel like it's starting to show a little more where it's starting to look a little bit. Frizzy ER, and so I think I do need to either give her a wash or give her a good soaking in order to be able to see if she'll bounce back, you know, because that could be another big difference. The fibers. I will tell you, though, the tags are identical. Everything about the tags is the same. The Henry Mar goo is a 100 % mode acrylic fiber made in Japan the wig made in Indonesia. All of it's exactly the same so to you know, take that for what you will. Let me see if I can show it easier Tamsin. This is gon na be hard. This is Hollywood. This is Harper Henry Margaux main attraction it's hard to see, but these are thicker and they're more than a little more substantial, not enough to make a huge difference. In my opinion at all and Harper is about, I want to say it's about a hundred dollars. More then main attraction, if you were to buy it brand new, then Hollywood Harper is about a hundred more maybe a little less. I sure looked at that, but I think I saw Harper for 210 220 and made it in Hollywood about 125. So it's roughly $ 100 difference for the two and Henry Marku doesn't really like discount. I noticed that a lot of times when a website will have a discount code. You can't use them on the main attraction or the Henry. So in that sense, I think they kind of treat him similarly, so I put this one back on and you can just see it's just curlier up higher, whereas Hollywood was just flatter for longer. I think this one just has a bit more of a natural look to it. It'S definitely more natural. On top, so you know my impressions of them side by side. Is I like Harper better? I do um. Do I like Harper $ 100, better than Hollywood? I do I do I pay more money for Harper. I really would if I was on a super super tight budget, and I absolutely couldn't swing, that extra money is Hollywood good. Yes, I've enjoyed Hollywood, I've, worn Hollywood. I I just said it. I said at the beginning and I will stand by it. I do struggle with that. Permit ease every time I put it on. I overcome it because she's cute and I like the curls. Hopefully, those curls will come back a little bit because they have relaxed and she is getting frizzy ER. So we'll see how that goes. But out of the box. Harper is adorable. So if you are into wigs that are a little bit longer length if you like curls, if you like this kind of a bane look, you know the swept aside bang. This is a cute one, and it's I mean it's a good price point for about $ 200. You know there is gon na, be I'm not a stylist and I you know I wish I could do more styling for you guys in videos, but the reality is. I don't really style my wigs I'd like to, but I'm just not it's not my strong point, but you know with the way that these curls fall. I think that there is definitely styling potential in her and unfortunately, as I'm trying to mess with her I'm pulling her off my head. So I'm not gon na try to do much more than this, but I do think that their styling potential. I would say that cap fit similar, so Hollywood is big on me and Harper. It did have. You know I did tighten the adjusters and I've got that extra cap. That'S always sort of my nemesis, so I would say: cap fit is very similar as well. So they're a little bit big for my measurements, my measurements will be in the description box so anyway, that's my video on Harper and comparing Harper to Hollywood and Harper is a good amount of hair. So I will say that as well. I note, as did a video on this one, and she mentioned it's a lot of hair. It'S sort of fancy hair, it's holiday, hair, it's not everyday hair. I would agree with her on that, for me at least she's, not everyday, hair, she's date, night, hair she's. When I just really feel like maybe glamming it up, you know if I put some product in or got some water in and I scrunched her it could. Pardon me um, oh no! No I'm gon na get that tickle in my throat. That sometimes happens. I make videos um. I think she could look really fancy if you've got some cute little blingy Clips and you could put her up a little bit again. I think she could be fancy hair, so in that case she could be like a splurge and still not be that expensive so that you can have some fancy date night or fancy updo hair. So in that case, Harper could be really great. Now, of course, I've only warned her the two times for just a few hours each time. I can't speak to how she'll wear over time, but I will come back and tell you guys with my experiences of this.
