Hey yo welcome back to the hair. I wear for wigs by Patti's pearls calm, I'm Lauren, and this is the second two HD wig review. I'Ve got for you, HD is heat defiant and you can check out my other review of firey, and this video is all about spicy and Wow. Look at that color and that amazing, it's like we've got a lot of colors going on in here. This is 32 °f cherry creep. I don't think I've ever reviewed or seeing this color from genre no, but before we get to her, let me talk to you about what I am wearing in the first half of this video. I always get so many questions about what I am wearing and I haven't made that super clear. So I'm definitely going to be sure to let y'all know the hairpiece I'm wearing at the beginning of my videos. So this is my synthetic genre, know 18-inch top style. So this is a topper. This is not a wig it's about an 8 by 8 cap size. So it comes down about right here on me and it's just a clip in hairpiece. I have some reviews for toppers on my channel, so go check those out, but this color is 6 F. 27 caramel ribbon. This has been my go-to everyday piece for a while now um this topper comes in human hair or synthetic I'm wearing these synthetics. So, oh and I have customized it a little bit. I have plucked the part line just to whine it a bit to make it look a little more realistic, but that's all I have done to it. So this is the synthetic top style 18-inch by genre net. Okay, this video is all about uh. I keep getting it mixed up in my time, op, spicy or firey, because they both have to do with heat, but this is spicy. Okay, before we jump into her. Let me talk to a little bit about HD fibers, so in the alternative hair world you have human hair, which can be styled any which way you treat it. Just like you would your own bio hair, then they're, a synthetic which is a man made fiber that cannot withstand heat. It would melt if it was heated and it's just kind of an as is piece that is this one. I would not touch it with heat. I have made the mistake and done that before I thought I was straightening, I made the mistake of trying to straighten my bio hair while wearing my topper, because the texture of my bio hair is really frizzy, and so I have to straighten it every day before I put my topper on so it will blend better, but I had my topper on not this one, but I took my flat iron that was really hot and went in there, and I thought I had my bio hair and I had my synthetic topper and not Only did it smell bad, but it just completely ruined an entire section, so you definitely do not want to use heat on your synthetic pieces and then there's like the happy medium, which is the HD fiber. Now an HD fiber is still man-made. It'S considered synthetic but as the name says it is made to withstand some heat, so you have to keep it on low heat. It'S not going to stay heat style as easy as a human hair piece. So, for instance, if you are trying to add curl to a straight piece, it would take a little bit more work because you are working with a lower heat, so the fibers aren't going to be as malleable as let's say, a human hair fiber. So something you can do to get some extra wave or body or curl into your HD pieces is take your curling iron or your curling wand make sure you can control the heat setting on it, keep it at 350 or lower. Sometimes I go to 75. Just to be on the safe side, and then you would curl it like. You typically would your human hair piece and then once you've held it on there slip your curling wand or curling iron out and see how I'm holding it's kind of a sad little curl. But I'm holding it in place, so you can hold it which would take a while or you could take your bobby pin or a clip and kind of pin it like a like a 50s kind of pin, curl, look and keep it pinned up and let it Cool completely once it cools completely, the Fiber has kind of like locked into place and then let it down and you're going to a much curlier curl than you would, if you just curled it and let it go. That is definitely going to keep the curl in your hair. If not, it may just fall flat after a few wear. So that's some tips that you can do be sure to go to John Reno's website. They have an amazing library of videos. You can go in and learn more about HT fiber, styling tips. I always suggest that you go to the manufacturers website to get their best tips and tricks and products for washing synthetic hair just what they recommend for their specific pieces, because not all fibers are made equal. Now, going back to HG, I, like I'm, really long-winded the first part of this video HD fibers. You can also smooth the fiber with a flat iron, so keep it at the lower heat setting. You could spray it with some like thermal spray like just to protect the fibers, and you go in and make sure all the tingles are out. You don't want a flat iron in any kinks or tangles in there and go through it, and you can knock out some frizz now just be aware that HT fibers are going to frizz a lot easier than a synthetic piece, so they typically don't last as long. If you're going to use a lot of heat on them or constantly be pulling on the fiber creating friction, they will frizz on you a lot easier, but you can remedy that with the the heat styling. So just be aware of that. Okay, all that to say, let's get on to spicy by genre, know she is a heat defiant, wig and again this color is 32 °f cherry cream. So this is a dark cherry brown base, mixed with copper, dark rust and golden blonde highlights. Now I'm sitting right in front of a window, so the color is definitely, you know, amplified with this kind of light. But it looks like it's like this ombre effect into this cheery color, like almost it's a dark brown on top, and then it goes down to this cherry color, but we'll see when I get our on what the color looks like once I get rid of this Zigzag part: okay, you have a hand-tied monofilament, so you can part her any direction that you want and then she has a lace front and because some of the highlighted pieces here are in the front, it's definitely going to give you a more realistic part line. Sorry, I'm not it's hard to show if it's not on my head, but you can see the lace front and then I'll pull it back and give you a close-up once I get it on. It has adjustable straps and a velvet nape and adjustable ear tabs, and this is not a machine open, wefted cap. This is a hand tied cap, which is definitely going to give you more of a realistic look. The hairs gon na move a lot better hand. Tied caps are always more realistic than machine wefted. So just be aware that this is not info panned lefting, this is a hand tied cap. Let'S talk about the length, so it has a little bit shorter, bang, eight and a half inches at the front from the crown it's saying it's about nine inches, so it must be talking about this longest layer from the nape down is twelve and the sides are Ten, so about a mid, not super long, not super short, and then it's 4.2 ounces. Okay, let me go get her on, so you can see what she looks like be screen shot ready here are all the details on spicy by John Renault okay. Here she is. This is genre knows a spicy okay, so my first impression is: there is a lot of hair up here and not so much hair down here. The curl is not all the same length. You have this longest layer. That'S gon na hit right about here. I think. That'S why the length at the nape is so long from the nape down it's 12 inches, but then from the crown down. It'S only telling me that it's 9 inches, so it has a really it's definitely a thicker choppier layer up top, but then the volume down below doesn't quite match the volume up top. So I'm not a huge huge fan of that. Let me get my seat up a little there you go so you can see everything on the fibers feel really really good. On this. It'S soft has great movement. I really like the way that they feel and because you have a lighter, highlight in the front that front lace line is not going to be super obvious, see how better this is, how much better this is. Then, when I show you the lace line with a dark root, it makes all the difference in the world if you have a lighter color up top. So if you are feeling brave, you could definitely wear this back away from your face kind of clip back like that. If you wanted to see that gives you a really great natural look, you can see all these highlights through here. That is really really pretty um. You definitely see the cherry whoo yeah. You get a lot of volume up top here. Um, let's see if I can calm it down, just a little relax relax. You definitely see the cherry color, I think more in the bottom here in the curl you it goes almost like lighter to darker, so you have a graduation in color. With this piece and again, the longest layer is just a little too then for me, if I'm gon na have a lot of volume and bulk up top, I like it to match down below. So it's not such a sparse look, but you definitely can get in your tuck with this one. So I like to leave a little bit of hair out, so you get it back there like that. You can pull it away from your face. If you need to and get it back to see how kind of its like, can I have a mushroom head with that layer back there umm, let's see what some other styles we can do. It'S the layers are too short right here to meet in the back. So you'd have to kind of clip it back on this side. If you wanted a kind of a halfway, look like that, where you could clip it back on this side kind of like that, you definitely can do a ponytail. These front layers are not gon na. Go back unless you just clip them individually, but this long layer for sure can go back in a ponytail or a side. Ponytail and again the fibers feel really good. Now, with all of this curl, I kind of finger combed it. I did not take a wide tooth comb to it. I was afraid to break up the curl too much. I feel like with this wig, since it is a heat defiant. What I would probably do is wet it and then encourage the curl to go back to its original state. I don't think I would take a curling iron and curl. These I'd be afraid that I'd mess up the integrity of the curl or make it frizzy or curl it in the wrong direction. You know what I mean. I would just take the natural curl of the fiber and just kind of encourage it back into shape. I don't think I would take my heat tools and try to straighten this out like if you want this wig you're gon na probably want to wear it curly. This is not a wig that I would straighten and try to curl back. I think you may end up with the frizzy mess if you do that um. So let me give you a 360. I see it's not a ton of volume and that longest layer, the side, good gravy. I can't quite get my spin right. Okay, there's the side that was an intense spin, okay, so there she is. She is not my favorite curly wig that I have reviewed, but she isn't option if you are looking and for something HD and you are a girl that likes a lot of volume. I really like the color, it's very different. It'S very rich! You can see it's not routed, it has that highlight in it, but it's just a beautiful, warm rich, color, okay, so there she is. That is spicy. Actually, it's hoping if I kind of stop trying to tame the curls and just kind of flew them a little she's just meant to be more than big. If you want big hair she's, your girl, okay, all right! If you need genre nose, spicy in your life head on over to wigs by Patti's pearls calm, the brand is genre know the style is spicy, and this color is 32 F, which is cherry cream. Alright guys, I will see you next time. Bye,

Brenda A.: Looks very natural--that is how normal hair without extensions looks: thinner at the bottom. It reminds me of my hair back when I was younger.

Colleen Todd: Love your videos thank you Can you tell me if 32F is close to raspberry ice by Noriko? Or compare it to Noriko Auburn sugar R?
