Hey everyone. Thank you so much for being here today. My name is denise, i'm also known as heywig sister on instagram and facebook. Today, i am here with a color spotlight, for you guys, i'm here to show you the brand new estetica color sunlit blonde, and i have finn with all her gorgeous curls in that color. If you're curious about the color, then stick around we'll talk about it. It is always so fun for me to be able to bring you guys brand new releases and reviews on things that are kind of exciting for everyone, because i get kind of whipped up into the excitement as well, and i'm so grateful to name brand wigs for Actually sending me this wig and partnering with me once again on this review. They are so awesome to work with they're, so wonderful they're just open to really having a lot of different styles reviewed by reviewers, so that you guys have so many more data points. To look at when you're looking to purchase a wig, so please please check out namebrandwigs.com if you're in the market, for a wig, if you're interested in finn or any other wig in this color, you can go to namebrandwigs.com, they have coupon codes. Often they have coupon codes for brand new buyers. They have great customer service, a blog, it's just a really great trusted resource, and so i highly recommend that i really just honestly - i've been a customer of theirs for a number of years, so i can't recommend them enough. I know i partner with a lot of different retailers and they all have such great, unique qualities and name brand. Wigs is another one that i cannot recommend enough. So thank you name brand, wigs, all right, sunlit blonde, i'm struggling with this color, you guys, i'm. I first of all i'm not a blonde at heart - i you know, but i've brunette. My whole life, i'm just getting into the blondes in the last year to year and a half as a wig wearer. So, for me, blondes are sort of the new frontier, and so i don't have a ton of history with blonde colors. So i do have a number of wigs. I'M going to compare this one to for you guys so that we can start to get our arms around what this color looks like. I have watched quite a few reviews on this color to see how others are describing it, and then i look at mine to see if it looks like that to me, so i have some thoughts on that as well. Color is somewhat objective and somewhat subjective. You know how we see: color, isn't black and white pun intended. You know it's one of those things. Somebody might look at a color and think it looks warmer or cooler. There'S nuance. Let me just say it that way, so a blonde could look, um, more yellow to one person and a little less yellow to another, because their frame of reference and how they see color might be slightly different. Does that make sense? So when i watched some of the reviewers talk about this color and they were describing it in some cases i agreed and in some cases i didn't fully agree now. That also could be because of the piece that i have compared to the piece that they have, and this is where color becomes so difficult, and i talk about this on my blog. I'Ve talked about it in other videos. There is, there is a little bit of an inconsistency challenge when it comes to wearing wigs and when you're thinking about how they blend color there there will be variation, especially when there's multiple colors that they're using so how much of one color in one wig do They use in another, just a slight variation can dramatically change how that wig looks especially if you've got a wig with some hand. Tied features like fin has all of this whole front, section is hand tied, so how they hand tied in those various colors will impact the overall appearance of that wig. So i need to say that, because when you're watching these videos - and you see one person say one thing and you see another person say something slightly different and you wonder what's right: well, they pro they both probably are based on the wig that they have in Their perspective, so let me show you this color. I am not going to review finn for you guys. I have a review of finn and so i'm not going to spend time on finn. This is all about the color. If you are interested in finn, you can watch my review. I have that on youtube and i'll link it below, and i will take this clip out, but i put the clip in because i really wanted you to be able to see that rooting now. What was my initial impression when i first got this wig out of the box and put it on my head? My first impression was bleach blonde and already i'm contradicting what another reviewer said about this color now. I think part of why this reminds me a little bit of bleach blonde is the rooting. This rooting is very warm and i'm going to show you an example. I have got jon renau palm springs blonde here, and this is a very ashy root. Compared to this one, i don't know how much it comes across on video. This is much ashier than this one and that's why it sort of makes me think bleach blonde. When i look at the rest of the color, because as a brunette who had bleached her hair blonde in high school and used sun in and all of that you - you know, it gets kind of a an orangey tone. This isn't orange, but it's sort of it's not ashy and it's not dark and that's sort of why this feels a little bit like a bleach blonde to me, because this is such a warm root. It'S not orange. This isn't super yellow, but i think i've been trying to understand why, when i see this, i think 80s bleach blonde, i think madonna and how she used to do her hair in the 80s and she was blonde and she had those dark roots. That'S sort of what this reminds me of. I really encourage you to stick around on the end and see the outside look of this color. It is so different from inside. It is much cooler, much whiter or more platinum or pearl, much ashier, somewhat ashier, but it's much much whiter than it is indoors and i believe that's how it comes across everywhere. I think it's coming across that way on this video a little bit. It'S definitely coming across that way. I'Ve looked in it in all the rooms. In my house i mean i've stood outside and looked at it. I'Ve really really studied this, and it's going to take on a different cast, depending on the lighting that you're in now. I want to reference a couple of videos that i watched and tell you my impressions from what i watched on their video and what i saw and i'm not slamming anybody. We all are doing the best that we can. We all have challenges our cameras, the lighting that we're using all of that, but why i want to do this is because, as a wig wearer, i want you to understand what i go through too. When i see a video and i watch what i'm told and then i get a wig - and i am fine if somebody else wants to do that to my video and say okay, this is what denise showed and said, and this is what i'm seeing, because i Think it will help someone so taz. We all love taz taz is amazing and she is like the benchmark for us on videos, at least for me and in her video. This color looked so platinum, so much whiter and cooler than i'm seeing inside with this wig, and then i think my video is pulling, and so i think it's a combination of the fact that she has studio lighting, but she also has windows. I believe i've never been to her house, but i've heard her describe like if it's a cloudy day, so there's not as much sun coming through the windows, so she had to get extra lighting. I have no windows on me. I don't have a room in my house where i can do videos regularly and get windows, so i have lots of studio lighting that i try to set to mimic outdoor light, and so that could be one of the reasons why just the lighting that she's using Could be completely different than the lighting that i'm using? I just want you to know if you watch my video and you watch her video and you see differences, that's why and it could be, that our pieces look slightly different. We i've seen her talk a lot about how the application of the color on some of these blondes, especially because she does a lot of blondes, can be totally different from piece to piece. So that is a factor now. I watched crazy wig lady eileen's video and hers looked a lot closer to what i think mine is pulling indoors. So i thought hers. The color of hers was just a little bit more yellow, it's not a yellow blonde, but a little bit more yellow a little bit less cool than taz's did, and so that one, i thought, looked a lot closer to what i'm seeing in a house when i Take this wig off and i look at it so hopefully that tells you something. So what do i see? Let'S take this off and i should probably take this out. So let's just take a look at this rooting. It is a medium golden blonde or i'm sorry, a medium golden brown. It'S a warm warm root, you know when you get blondes and they're rooted. Sometimes the root is warm. Sometimes the root is cool. This is a very warm root. So what you've got here? Is you have a blend of multiple different colors and i thought i had a sheet here that kind of talked a little bit about so you've got a blend of like a sandy blonde and the lightest blonde and iced blonde with a light golden brown root. I definitely think the sandy blonde is they used a very light hand. I can see a little bit of a little bit of that darker blonde in here, but they used a very light hand and when i do this and i let the light play off of it, i really can see some of the nuance in the curls. The other thing to keep in mind when you are looking at these wigs. If you are looking at a straight piece to get this color in it's gon na, it's gon na appear different than the waves. The way the light plays off the waves. The way the highlights play off the waves, it will appear somewhat different, so that is really important to keep in mind now, let me show you some comparisons, because these are hard to wrap our heads around in a vacuum. You know it's like, especially if you have experience with some other blondes. How can we kind of help you to understand what this one looks like compared to those so the first one i want to show you is raquel welch shaded biscuit. This is straight up with a twist in the color shaded biscuit, so one of the biggest things i see this one's ashier than this one, this one's a little bit brighter a little bit less ashy. This one has a lot more beige. Can you see those darker tones like a beigey tone that one has a lot more beige than this one does which makes it appear just a tad darker, not a lot, but a tad darker. This root is more ashy than this root. It'S also longer root. This root isn't terribly long. It'S less ashy than um palm springs blonde, the straight up with a twist but more ashy than this one, which then contributes to the more ashy. Look. Alright. So that's shaded biscuit so if you like shaded biscuit you're not going to get as much dimension in this one, as you will see in shaded biscuit the next one i want to show you is henry margu. I always forget this color code, because it's a lot of numbers: it's um, 10, 613 gr, 10, 613 gr, it's kind of the coolest ashiest blonde that i have. It may be the coolest dashiest blonde in the henry margu line. Certainly the coolest ashiest one that i have and this one is on jewels. I'Ve worn jewels a lot and again what you're gon na see on this one is a little bit ashier. It'S got again more of those sort of beigey tones in it. This root is even warmer than um shaded biscuit, but again i think this one is even warmer they're closer though they're much closer and that's i felt this was sort of like a bleach blonde when i first saw it more so than straight up with then shaded Biscuit and more so than plot palm springs blonde, and i really think it's that warmer root. That does that to me, that may not be the case for you, but here is the comparison. I really hope this is i'm doing this. Okay. These are hard. Comparisons are hard. The last one i'm going to show you is jon. Renau palm springs blonde. This is in a modified wig. I think this is gisele. It came from a wig sister was super dry and like really rough shape had bangs cut in and the bangs were curly and like had terrible box hair. So i'm practicing on steaming skills with this one. So i straightened this one. This weekend or friday. I worked on straightening, i'm just trying to learn how to use steam with wigs, but so this is palm springs blonde. Next to this new color here sunlit blonde, this one is the ashes of all of them. This one has the most ashy root the lightest root. So um definitely and then you've got less beige, more white, more platinum. So when i look at these two together they're, definitely this one's way ashier. They all have similar tones in them. It'S just the application of those those various tones and sunlit blonde doesn't have as much of the sort of beigey ashy colors. I don't know you guys, hopefully, between all of this and all the other people reviewing sunlit blonde, i'm getting you closer to knowing whether or not this one is going to work for you. I think, if you're looking for something very ashy, if you like your blondes, almost gray like that, you like them just just kind of straddling that line where they might look a little gray and some lighting, because they're just that ashy. This is not going to satisfy you. It does not check that box. If you like, ashy roots, you don't like warm roots on your blondes and i've. Seen people talk about that. These roots are very warm they're, like a golden brown, i'm not sure. If they're coming across super dark in this video in my little viewfinder, it always looks darker than it winds up. Looking on my screen once i download the video it's not super dark, it is not like. Doesn'T look like a two. Doesn'T look like a four. Doesn'T look black, but it's darker and it looks like it's warm. It'S got some sort of reddish cast to it. Almost so, if you don't like warm rooting or you don't like, you know kind of dark rooting, i would say this one isn't going to satisfy you if you have palm springs blonde and that's borderline to too much dark. This is darker than that and warmer than that i'd say if you have henry margu: 613. 10. 613 gr. This is they're similar enough that you're not going to mind the rooting on this. If you like the rooting on this, i also think of all three colors. The one that this one reminds me, the most of is probably the 10613 gr this one from henry margu, i think they're closer. This just has a lot more low lighting in it kind of the beigey low lighting. This doesn't really have low lighting. It'S very it's not a flat color, but it's not incredibly dynamic either. It'S really doesn't have a ton of visible nuance to it. Okay, i think that's long enough. I hope i did good goodbye. You guys, and i did the best. I could please watch this outside. It definitely is actually your outside. If you have feedback on this, if you've seen this color help out a wig sister, i'm trying to find my remote help out a wig sister so that we can get as much information out there about this new color as possible. So somebody isn't struggling or doesn't make a bad purchase and feel like they have to return. It'S just one of those things until more people have seen this color we're going to rely on each other to describe it toward the best of our abilities. Thank you. So much for watching. Thank you so much name brand wigs for sending me this piece and thank you estetica for continuing to push the envelope with color and try new things. It is awesome and fun to watch i'll talk to you guys soon. Alright, everyone here we are with the brand new sunlit blonde outside. I have the perfect conditions for filming these outside looks today. It'S bright sun, but i've got very high, thin clouds, so it isn't glaring. This color is amazing. There'S the rooting! You did a really good job with that rooting, what a blend of cool and warm. So it's so bright out here hard for me to look up at my phone. Let'S go in front, i don't have a dark. Oh, maybe i have a dark background hold on my husband's truck. Is here? Let'S see if i can utilize that as a dark background, i don't know if i can get low enough, but let's give it a shot. Maybe maybe that'll help. I don't know all right. Hopefully that was a good enough look. You got the right angles for it. There you go thanks for watching you

Heidi Urrutia: Great color review!! You were so thorough on a very difficult color to gage. I think you touched on so many points of reference. As always, fantastic job Denise!

Angel's Wigs : Girl your on it!!! I’m proud of you! You havin been working hard and growing the last 2 years!!

Twyla 2: Thank you so much!!! Your assessment of this color hit the nail on the head. It comes off totally as a bleached blonde with very little dimension. I got Estetica's Mellow (similar style to Finn) in RH 26/613 RT8 and it looks almost identical in color. The root reads super dark due to the lack of dimension in the blonde. I don't like it. I totally get what you said about the orangy brown roots vs the ashy ones. It makes a huge difference in how the color of the whole wig reads. I wish a video review like yours had been out there before I bought Mellow. Oh well...

Jill Creagh: Once again this was a fabulous review - thank you xx While I’m a blonde, and I’d dearly like to purchase a Finn wig, I just couldn’t take to this one. I agree with your Bleached Blonde term, and it seemed so so shiny, like Barbie hair, that it screamed “Wig” to me. Even more so outside. I bought a wig from Paula Young in #22 and it was similar in that it was very one-dimensional, I had to add low lights to make it look more natural. I would have to do the same with this one I think. (Can you recommend a wig that is similar to Finn but with much less permatease please? )

Rita: Great video! I love Name Brand wigs!! Finn is beautiful. You look amazing !

Patty Carosi: Such a cute wig. I wish it came in more color's. You look so cute in this one.

DHG Heart Written: You look so beautiful in this style and color, Denise. I'm so sorry I've been absent for a while. I unexpectedly lost my precious fur baby companion of 14 years a month ago. I'm still struggling, as I live alone and my home is now so empty without her. If you will, please say a prayer for me.

Rhonda Gelowitz: Just look at you, rocking the blondes and just as gorgeous!!

Evangeline Kessler: My gut reaction was bleach blonde, and for the remainder of the video I was trying to figure out why. It came to me right before you took us outside—it’s the lack of dimension in the Sunlit Blonde that takes the eye/brain connection to that conclusion. It’s a pretty wig, but for me I’d like to see more colors interwoven so that the color doesn’t appear so flat. You’re doing an awesome job and your candor and obvious passion for the subject is evident in your presentation. Keep up the good work! P.S. I should have waited to post my comment until after the outdoor shots. The color looked totally different, less yellow more white. I stand by my assertion that the color needs more tones of color, unless what you’re shooting for is the bottle blonde look.

Lizzy Casanova Garcia: Love it❤you look absolutely beautiful.

Clara: Wonderful colour review thanks Denise

ExtensionOfDenim: Taz’s lighting is VERY cool. yours looks quite warm. if i had the money to blow i’d buy a wig in that color and throw in my professional opinion. none of the blondes are “beige”. that’s gold. even the lowlight in PSB is a muted gold. golden blonde and your super warm foundation clash big time. ‍♂️

Michelle Diekman: Just Beautiful on you!! Love it❤

Linda Anglisano: I'm my humble opinion I think the outside pictures were most accurate and the last 2 or 3 photos. I have two Finns in this new color, and have always been blonde. I agree with the roots being warm which I sprayed with dark brown dry shampoo and it looked better for me. Of course makeup and clothing colors can also change the hue and improve the overall look. It's nice to see you dip into the blonde pool! These are my first Finn's and one seemed heavier on the permatease than the other, so yes they're some inconsistencies. Thank you for your video, it's crucial for many of us to see wig styles and colors on a real everyday person as most of us are, before we spend our money. You look pretty in this color for summer

L S: Holy Smokes! I couldn't have asked for a better color comparison for this new shade. I currently own all of the same pieces, in the same shades (except for your "practice" piece) and have been watching every review of this shade that I could find. Up until you showed the outside view, I was thinking maybe the roots would be too dark for me. The outside look sealed the deal for me....really looks a lot like PSB and I love it. All that's left for me now it to pick a style. Thanks NBW for colab w/Denise, & Estetica for this amazing new shade. And, to you Denise, for these awesome, helpful reviews

Meeka Cat: You look gorgeous!!

J F: The color on my screen is definitely coming across more yellow/warm than it is in person. If anyone has seen bombshell blonde by belletress its similar to that only sunlit blonde looks like a pearly fashion color to my eye. I have it in Orchid and have tried soaking in baking soda and spraying with dry shampoo nothing helps. My son said it looks fake almost like its sparkling

Bonnie Dicostanzo: Wow? It reminds me of JR Laguna blonde. Am I correct? Beautiful

beteeho: Jamison is GORGEOUS in this color

Dan C: Similar to JR's Laguna blonde, maybe? I wear warm blondes and do not get excited about cool, ash blondes. Nice comparisons!

Debbie Motley: You remind me of Farrah Fawcett ❤️. It's very cute on you.

Debra Englander: Beautiful on you warm or cool. Two totally different colors inside and outside

Dana G: I will just say this… I will not buy another piece in Sunlit Blonde. I got her in Jamison which is one of my favorite pieces. Estetica has never done a blonde that I really liked. Something was off when I opened up the box and I put her on… It wasn’t good. I ended up putting Jamison on one of my mannequin heads and put her on my coffee table watching her for about two weeks. My living room gets the most dynamic lighting in my house…. Yeah…. Not going to be a repeat purchase. I thought about adding some low lights with some alcohol markers… I am just not that brave.
