Hey guys welcome back to wear wigs with me, I'm Stacy, I'm gon na start a series of wigs. I wear on an everyday basis from the time I just started from my very first wig this one to how I've evolved and what I'm wearing now so stay tuned. Today, we're going to talk about angry, Margo's Felicia. This is the first wig I ever bought. Felicia is a capitalist construction, there's no lace front, there's no mono anything. It'S just open cap. I will say this is the most comfortable cap that I own. Let me tell you a little bit about how I got to buying this wig. When I first realize I had hair loss, my only experience with alternative hair was halo extensions, and so I started researching halo extensions and came to toppers and halo came out with a topper and it's called the foul it's gorgeous. I'M going to pop pictures in here. I loved it, but my hair got so thin that even the halo, extensions and the topper it started. Looking like two pieces, those look the best when you have hair and then those just fill in because that's what they're made for they're not made to be worn. As a wig, so in my hairdresser even said, why don't you just wear a wig and I was like? Oh no, I'm not I'm not ready to wear a wig. I don't need a wig and that way, so I wouldn't have a wig shop. It'S just ten minutes down the road, and so I packed up my husband off we went my anxiety was so high and I was still in that really high emotion state about my hair loss. Anyway, I was kind of still in that frantic panic. What do I do about this? Why don't I get hair? You know it's just like there's so much building inside of you, and so I walked into this plague shop and it's tiny and there's just the lady that owns it and she's been business for forty years. So you know it's, it probably is a long time since she saw somebody with eyes this big coming in just look around, and I literally besides saying hi. How are you today just stood there looking around at my husband and I were both silent. She finally was like what can I do for you and I was like I don't I don't know, I don't know where to start, I I need a wig and I had my top on when I walked in. So I'm like this is as if she couldn't tell - and I I think I just need to try on wigs, and so she was like. Okay and she sat me in a chair - and it was great because I was working in there but besides mine, and so I didn't feel beard I just puffed - everything happened there I was and, and she just started she said, look around pick out a rug and She had a whole wall like six high and she said pick out whatever you want and we'll try it on, and so I did, and you know I say it was comfortable. There was nobody around it's comfortable, really loose, because I still I just felt like my organs were in my throat like I could hardly breathe. Everything was like, and so I tried on this way and out of all of them that I had tried on this. Was the best one and it's not that wig shops fault like I said that wig shop was in the mall when I was a little kid hanging out at the mall that kind woman owned it and ran it then, and now it's at this new place and She still owns it, so I am I'm sure, I'm not sure I'm gon na gather that she has a clientele that has kept her business for the past four years and it's her inventory of wigs is geared toward that clientele. I get it. So was the one that I like the best, and so she was so kind because I didn't even know what color and you can't tell from swatches what an entire wig is gon na look like - and this was my first time so I'm like - I don't even Know what color can we get like? Is there something that's my hair color and so she was so kind. She ordered me three different wigs or three different colors and this wig. They came in in three days and in that three days, yeah, it might have been longer than that anyway, it it took. I had gone out to bravado or Bravada, which is another wig boutique in Kansas City, and it's a little bit fancier it. They have a huge inventory of different styles and colors and trendy and real hair and synthetic hair. I mean it was just like it was exactly what I wanted and they take you in you make an appointment. They take you into a private room and you talk with a stylist about. What'S going on what you're looking for what you hope for and then you go back out onto the floor and you just start picking our collegues that you want to try on, and so I left there with several styles that I knew that I wanted. But I also knew that this one was on the way, but then this one comes in, I go to buy it and now I'm putting it on, and I have a different outlook this time. This isn't my first time of having a wig on my head now and I know what different styles look like on me, and I've spent about a thousand more hours on YouTube, looking at reviews, and so things were different and when I put this on, I was Just like oh shoot, I shouldn't have ordered this, but I wasn't going to walk out of there and not buy a wig from that kind. Woman that spent that time with me - and it was my first experience and she ordered three different colors of this wig and so I'd left with this wig and I got it home and I tried to wear and every time we went to leave the house. I put it on and was like. I can't I can't wear this. This is not. This is not me, and so I kept wearing my toppers and my extensions and I ordered a different wig and when that came in, I started wearing that. But in the meantime I will say I'm glad I purchased this wig, mainly because when I got it it was so thick and granted. I'Ve learned now that every wig I get is going to be too much hair. Like I said in my other video, that's why I'm buying wigs. I can eat hair, but when you go from having very little hair, mussed your life and even less now, and then you put on a wig and it's so big, it kind of takes your breath away, and so with this wig that I thought I'm never gon Na wear it - and I thought it was a cheap wig, which I mean everybody if you've been researching wigs for any amount of time. You know there aren't any cheap wigs, you can go on Amazon and you can get more like costume, wigs and those you can for twenty dollars or something and those are more cheap wigs. Although I've seen people turn those cheap wigs into some real looking hair. So it's it's really. If you have the experience and the time and the confidence to mess with a wig anyway, to look good but back then I still was panic. What do I do so? I went out and bought the thinning shears. I watched videos on how to thin my wig and I send this week out so cut some banks and while I feel okay about my thinning job, I've learned I'm never cutting my own bangs. The other thing I did because I read a review that somebody else said was I steamed this one. I get it and I will pop the another picture in here. So you can see again. It was curly. It was like straight curly, and so I took a steamer. I took a regular ol Club, clothing steamer and I steamed with a swag out and I loved it so much more it it just it loosened everything up and now it's just like a wavy layered hairstyle. I mean I like it so much more now and I like the color more and it softened it. So that was the other thing about this wig. When I got it, it was real course and I had been wearing halo, extensions, fall and topper and that's human hair. So it's soft and it feels like hair and then I get this and I'm like. Is this what all wigs feel like? Because this I don't? I didn't like it, but I put some warm steam or not when I'm seeing some hot steam on it and it softened up. I also before I did that I soaked it in fabric softener and let it hang upside down, and then I read the review and the girl. I wish I could remember who it was said that she steamed it out, and I almost my oh, my god. I hadn't even thought about doing that. Or I mean I hadn't thought about doing that. But I also would have been afraid that would have burned it and I didn't want to ruin it because I knew I mean I had kind of messed up these bangs. I mean I wouldn't want to sell this to somebody like this, but I knew you know. I could give it to somebody else, or you know. If I just couldn't make it work, then I would pass it on and, and somebody else would love it because there's a reason why there's so many wig companies and there's different styles of wigs and different styles of cap construction, because everybody's, what they're? Looking for in a wig, everybody's taste is different, and while this isn't what I'm looking for, this is gon na look great on somebody else. This was also being the first wig. The first time I had ever seen permit ease and uh hi II was really thrown back by that I'm like what is this rat's nest on top of my head and I've learned to appreciate that now, if you watch my Kristen video, I talked about how my Pile of authorities - and I do now - and I like it on this wig now I mean not - you can really get some volume on this hair, not as much as you could when I first bought it because I've thinned it out, but you can because of that, Permit ease and it's full of parties I mean it's permit, ease all the way through. So if you like permit ease, this is a good way. It'S a pretty color too. I think after messing with it, when I first got it, it was real like choppy. It was like you could really tell all the individual colors and I'm like I mean this looks like you messed up your highlight job or something but the more I played with it, and then I watched it and then I steamed it and now it was blending. Really pretty - and it just looks like a light brown with highlights - and let me get the the color of this wig is 827 33 H. The weight of this wig is 4.2 ounces and they say the overall length is 13 inches anytime. You get a curly layered wig, it's really going to depend on how much you've messed with it the length that you're going to give it. They also say I'm going to look down at my cheat sheet here, that the bangs are five and a half inches in front of it. I believe it, it probably was. The nape is 7 inches, that's what's underneath here, 7 inches and then the the top and the sides in the back are anywhere from 6 to 7 to 8 to 9 inches. So because it's got this great layering. So if you don't, if you don't mess with it out of the box, then it probably is going to be 6 inches and the back is going to be 9 inches. So it just depends on how much you want to mess with it, and I wanted to mess with it. Oh so, going back to I get this wig in I'm freaking out at home. I'Ve now I've ordered another wig. I'M much happier with that. My emotions are settling in the thing about hair loss and that panicked, frantic out-of-control feeling is that you've. For me, I had to channel that energy into something happy and that's a choice. When I decided that I was going to wear wigs, then I got excited about it. I can turn anything into a hobby, so I did - and now I just I can't get enough of watching wig reviews and scouring the websites that the two main websites that I use our sister wigs and wigs to do one. They both almost always run a 30 % off plus they run even deeper discount sales from time to time. So you want to sign up. They both also allow you to earn points, so I just I signed up with these websites. I I dove into all of their education that they provide all of their knowledge. I joined all the Facebook groups. I just impact myself in the community, and I really encourage you to do that because surrounding yourself with people that are going through the same thing that you're going through is going to help you immensely. It did me I am talking with other women that look like me and are around my age or even if they're not, they know how. I feel, and I have a terrific family support system. Everybody has just been so positive and just I can't even explain how encouraging and supportive everyone in my family has been, but they don't know how. I feel and you need that. I needed that. I needed to see other faces that had hair loss and that were battling that um, that emotional turmoil that exists and it's I call it turmoil because there's so much in my life to be grateful for. But yet I felt so scared and sad about this and I kept thinking. Shame on you for feeling this way, but not shame on me and not. Shame on you, because hair loss is scary and it stinks and it's not fun, and I don't. I hope my hair grows back. The way that I wanted to but, like I said before, even if it does, I think I'm gon na keep it cut and wear wedding, so just have fun with your wigs dive into the community, we're all in this together. So until next time. My next video is going to be the second wig that I ever bought and we're going to talk about that see you next time.

tabasco14: Lovely wig, you look so pretty! I love and wear bangs (what's left of them) but understand not everyone does. I am saving up for my first wig now so I can leave the house again! This video gave me so much info. Thank you! x0x Jonnie

Bethany Fuller: So helpful! Love your positive message, and I love seeing what people are choosing to buy for themselves rather than just reviewing wigs sent to them by wig companies. Look forward to more videos!

mlynnetuch: Thank you so much for this video! So real and heartfelt! Very helpful and encouraging!❤️

ptriciaram: Thank you for your story, It’s so nice to know that the emotions of hair loss is normal.

Diane R-D: The back of that wig looks so nice! The beautiful wavy look must be from the work you did on it. Love your videos! So helpful. I makes me feel better to hear you talk about what it's like to loose your hair. Great job, Stacey! Your personality comes thru, just like Heather's personality comes thru on her Cysterwigs reviews. Diane

Suzanne Towns: Stacy, I loved this video! How did you ever become so comfortable in front of a camera. Watching you is like watching someone I've known forever. Keep doing what you're doing! ;-)

Eileen Davinroy: So, so helpful! I love what you've done with that wig. Fabulous!

Pamela Allen: oh my word, I LOVE IT!! That is my natural hair color and style when I had hair..lol I just got my first wig yesterday and my daughter's wedding is tomorrow. I ordered two to be sure I would have something. I bought Estetica Ocean and Finn. I sent Ocean back but I am keeping Finn even though the amount of hair is freaking me out. I'm scared to death everyone will be able to tell. You rock these things girl!

Suddenly Caprice: My first wig is going to be delivered today! I woke up at 4:30 am this morning! Feeling such a combination of excitement and nervousness. We don't have any wig shops in our area so all I could do is watch YouTube videos to educate myself and take a leap of faith. You and Taz have been so inspiring! Thank you for sharing your journey!

Faith Vogel: Thank you for sharing a real piece of yourself with us.    It is touching and at the same time, it's so easy to relate to this when you have hair loss.   I think once we can find our way through the grief of hair loss, there is a lot to be said for coming out the other side - always having beautiful hair.  So out of something negative comes something wonderful.  Gotta find the silver lining.

Tracy Haluska: The wig is really pretty on you! It looks very natural! I'm glad after all your work on it you like it!

shonee hogan: I just came across your video and even though it’s 2 years old it resonated with exactly how i feel and what I’ve been dealing with. I had Covid extremely bad in April of this year and almost died. I had no existing conditions I’ve hardly ever gotten sick in my life so no explanation why my body reacted so badly to it. I spent a month in the hospital and icu, extreme amounts of stress on my body and i thought i was thru the worst healing and then about 2-3 months after being diagnosed my beautiful silky soft hair started falling out by the handful. I’ve never in my life lost hair like this. Im even a licensed cosmetologist and I’ve seen hair loss but it’s quite different when it’s happening to you personally. It’s extremely emotional and overwhelming to say the least. I too had never worn wigs myself and didn’t want to. I just wanted my own hair and you’re right trying to find the perfect wig to mimic your own hair colors and texture is well almost impossible. I want to thank you so much for this video i found it really made me feel better when sometimes you feel a sense of complete helplessness when losing your hair. Thank you for being so positive

Blank Blank: You are amazing and have changed my life! Thanks so much!

Julie Ann: OMG I spent over $5,000.00 the first year I wore wigs (and at the time I was only making 28K a year) but the anxiety and fear over finding the right wig was pretty intense. Thankfully I have settled in and know what styles I like and can wear, it took a while, but I have found quite a few styles that I love. Thanks for sharing your journey, it's nice to know we are not alone!

TIme Enough: Wow you did a great job! It looks so natural. I have to try that steaming method. Look at Ellen Wille wigs....less dense. You will have so much fun with wigs...very addictive! Color is fab on you.

TheAnnieG07: Wow! You did a great job! That Felicia wig looks natural and gorgeous on you! I’m still in that high anxiety state you described. What steamer did you use? Can you tell us the brand and make? I need to get the hair on wigs “off my face” and I heard steamers can do it. Thank you!!!

KA Pirk: You did a fantastic job of customizing this piece. It looks so much better!

Something Interesting: Felicia looks completely like your own hair and beautiful too.

jill552: That wig looks great on you.

Sally Summerfield: I love your content and style. I’m new to wigs and It certainly is a steep learning curve. I totally get your new “hobby”. My husband says I’m obsessed. I am and am so relieved to find my tribe. Thank you!!

Beauty Therapy 50 Plus: So very glad you did this video, and I soooo resonated with your halo / topper situation, because that was me, too! And I'm glad you ended up getting this wig, because it looks lovely on you. Best wishes!

Joan Boes: Hi- just found your channel. I follow all kind of wig review channels so I am glad I found yours. I paused the video at 14:20 to tell you that I think the style is great and it couldn't look more natural from the back. Now, having said that, I do notice (and I am sure you do also) that because it is lacking a lace front, the hairline is not as natural as one would like. But the movement, color and curl pattern is very natural. I have never seen you without a wig, don't know your natural color, don't know how you normally wear your hair, so in my estimation, I can be very objective about how this style /wig comes across on your video. And I think it looks great ! Okay.. now I will proceed watching the rest of this Felicia video and look forward to viewing your others.

Barbara Anderson: I am new to wigs too. How well I know that feeling of panic and anxiety! You have a gorgeous face, by the way. I am glad I have found you!

SHERRY SUBLETT REGAN: FALLS WERE A BIG THING IN 1968 WHEN I WAS IN HIGH SCHOOL. SO MUCH FUN AND SO BEAUTIFUL.

Wig Studio 1: Soooo cute on you! :)

Melissa DeFalco Menge: Love this!

Ruth Tirado: Beautiful on you!

A. RosesRBleu: Hey girl! Went "back in time" and watched this today and was wondering if you could do a sort of "Tips and Tricks" video especially about how you steam and work with a wig? I could really use a little guidance in this area and I think you could do an awesome job of it...also, your use of fabric softener to soak the wigs in (like how much and how long)...Combs you use etc... The only things I have are a wig brush (wire) and a teasing brush and a hot air thingy for the bangs that is safe for synthetic..It would be really great if I could take a more proactive role in making the best of my wigs...Thanks again! Blessings to you!

Anne-Marie Gill: Your videos are very interesting. So, I love Felicia on you. It is so natural on you with the tricks you used to shape it. I am wondering if I will buy it and shape it as you do because too much air is not good on me and I have a question for you. I usually wear bands, so do you think it is possible to cut a bangs hair on this particular wig.

1013pka: I’m trying to figure out what u think is wrong with the bangs. I love how this wig looks. I’m totally new to wigs and am looking for a wig like this, but I want bangs that are slightly below my eyebrows. I would want to also cut the bangs shorter, so need advice on how to do it. This is a great video. You look so pretty.

SHERRY SUBLETT REGAN: MY FAVORITE COLOR!!!

JJ W: You should try Kendall by Henry Margu ....its only wavy and the color 8/27/33 is awesome on you.

Diane R-D: It certainly did! I wish I had the nerve and skill you have! I'd b scared to destroy it! Diane

Brenda Boyer Knoll: I think this is adorable

SHERRY SUBLETT REGAN: NAME BRAND WIGS IS ANOTHER WONDERFUL SIGHT.

Jaci Fertik: I have a short head horozonaly so I like permatese
