Wig Talk Wednesday! Jon Renau Blondes!

For the first five minutes, that's our greeting huh, all right! That'S our greeting for the first five minutes. What is wrong schedule? We'Re not on a schedule. That'S we're on a schedule, y'all! I know after last week. I just don't know i mean this could go on for days. It was suggested that we'd be on a schedule and that we show each week for one minute i'm trying to adhere to that ma'am. That'S not gon na happen. That is not gon na happen in any world, so whoever suggested that might be on nbc is not on it's not part of the reality world. Hi sue good to see you we do the best. We can. We just talk too much. I don't say anything: yes, kim i've got my new jolie. If you could only if you only knew how much i whined about, i can't get a new wig and i mean i i don't want to say that's an understatement, but it is. This went on for months and somebody would come in the show it shouldn't take me months to get a new wig. I shouldn't be so busy, i mean hey, i just cinderelly cinderelly. Well, we thought we'd start out in both of our favorites. Yes, if anybody can guess what mine is yes i'd like to give you a prize, but i'm sure everybody already knows what it is: alva chocolate frost. But yes, yesterday morning it was like okay, i don't care how much we have to do we're going to get your wig done and we did and then i got my second treat what was your second dream: sharon tucker from idaho she came and spent so much Time with us, and oh, we had the best time. Oh, she gave us like these little menopause fans. These are your. This is yours. Ma'Am, i'm gon na go get mine because we talk about. We get hot and missy. She really whines if she gets hot. So she gave us these little fans on a necklace, what's cool, because i've seen some of these before, but this one's cooler than the one that i've seen other people have you turn it on. You can hear it and it when you have it on the air blows up. So if you're having like you, know a hot brush, it's like that beyonce effect. You know you're old when you're talking. Thank you doing it beyond beyond safe. Look at that blowing. It just like that breeze. Just like the breeze from the beach, oh and sharon said you could even put it in your bra, oh yeah. No, i put it in my bra, it worked. It totally works great and then it goes right here. Uh, we have to say hi to the drunken blondie, who just popped on hey uh. You know who that is, they brought her and her sister deb at word house where she up here. I missed it. Um her and her sister came in. I got to see them twice: becky and deb. Yes, becky lives here, but deb came all the way down from michigan and um well great time. She lives up by gains, i mean she, i mean she lives kind of like anything but yeah they still drove in and we had the best time. I know i don't know where she got them, but she brought them to us and we just appreciate it. I think it has a little air compressor in there because it just feels like cold air. Well, all i know is i better figure out the batteries, because if we run out of the batteries, misty will not be happy hi from connecticut hi from hi. Sarah from belgium there she is yeah. I feel like we're missing so many people, i'm so sorry, there's beth, i mean asheville's in the house, all the all you people that have came to see us from all over the united states. It'S amazing! Yes and we we. I can't even tell you how much we appreciate it, but we love meeting new friends and we've been we've met, so many incredible people and heard so many great stories through this whole process. First of all, i love makeup and i love makeup brushes and um. We got these little if y'all have ever seen these little flat. Uh brushes they're, so soft and wonderful mm-hmm they just they're great, for if you use a powder foundation, i she gave this to ava. Humphrey um gave us two and i used one for my powder and one for my liquid, because i do liquid foundation first and then i do just a little bit of liquid, then a little bit of powder too, and she sent both of us the same package. One one had kimberly and one had missy, i'm like kimberly kimberly. Nobody calls me kimberly. I call you kimberly yeah yeah, if i'm in trouble anyway, we also got these bath bombs. Our shower bombs - and i use this this morning and i smell so good. I forgot to take my shower bomb, sometimes the lavender. I use the pomegranate and rose these things. Are you just put in the shower and it just like? It'S like you, don't want to get out of the shower. It'S just like aromatherapy got germany in the house. You'Ll be there next. I sure hope that the everything keeps open, so i can get over there and then i hope that i can get back. I sure hope you can get that it's not gon na have to really work yeah, because you have to figure out how i can how you can split the screen and we can be in two places at one time right. We don't care about anything else, whiskey about what we're talking about oh sharon from amarillo. I was born in amarillo a long time ago in just a couple years: yeah yeah all right. So what else is going on? Well, we had a very successful uh wig of the week. Last week the isla many of you grab that isla there's a couple that are on back order and if you haven't been contacted about it and you haven't gotten an email with a tracking number, then chances are your your colors on backorder, so um. If you haven't received that you can give us a call, but that was great yeah. We love isla um. What else happened? What happened, what i'm scared of what you're going to say so yesterday misty was gone. Oh yes, i missed all the good stuff. I got the phone call, i've been waiting for the skies and melted marshmallow and average and large cap shipped out yesterday. I don't even know how that's possible. I don't either because i talked to a real sweet lady yesterday and she said i just want to know the status. I said. Oh it's going to be the end of august and they got it done early and we are just so excited. So if you have pre-ordered skye in melted, marshmallow or the large cat melted marshmallow, it will be here if it shipped yesterday, it'll probably be friday, maybe but most probably monday, you'll start getting your tracking numbers and when we ship and yeah anytime it's a special order. We like to go through them um individually, first, so i can't wait so if 10 guesses as to what we're going to show you next wednesday only talking today and we also got - we had run completely out of sky and chocolate, frost and those shipped out as Well, so we are super super excited, so that was a that was a big moment. It was a happy i got here. I forgot to call mister. She didn't tell me - and so i got here this morning and i was going through my emails and doing invoices, and i saw that i'm like, oh so when kim got here. I wanted to text her, but i thought when she got here i'm like did you know when she's like oh yeah, i knew that yesterday i mean that's big news. It is big news, so so big all right what else um other than that? I can't think of anything we had our shower. That was good. Oh the shower turned out so good yeah. The bride was so appreciative. It was good yeah, it was really fun. Um linda's asking i i'm not sure which call you'd have to um. Send me an email, linda and um. I will check on that mellow for you. I mean, i know who you are, but i'm not. I don't recall of color, so you know right off the top of my head. All right. So jolie and mocha highlight noriko. Alvin misty is on alvin chocolate, frost, noriko yep, our favorite. Did you modify your album at all? I just texturized the bangs just to smidge and i didn't even do that for like two or three weeks, but then they kind of got to bugging me but - and she uh customized, my jolie for me. So she trimmed a little bang, gave me a little hump up there. I moved the parts apart trim, the bang yeah try to get that swoop in there that she liked that swoopy suit. All right. We got a lot to cover today we're going to do blondes from john renaud, yes rooted and rooted just so you get an eye because not everybody wants a root, and so sometimes, if you don't want to root it's hard to figure out what colors. First, you want to okay. These are not in any particular order, and they are not all of the jon renau blondes, but they're the most popular and the ones that we carry the most so um. It should be interesting to see all the different styles nancy makeup forever is asking about the makeup. Yes make it forever. I use a clinique um liquid foundation, just because i got it for free, i'm not picky about that liquid foundation, hi from australia. Welcome. We wear these caps just for hygienic purposes. So wood grips all you need, but since these wigs aren't hours, okay and what we're gon na do is we're gon na i'm gon na. Do the unrooted i'll put the wig on first and then i'll keep it on. For a few seconds, then i'll give it to kim we're. Not gon na show you two of each so it gets way too confusing. So renee alva she's, looking for a good ashy noriko blonde color, the melted marshmallow is going to be your best ashy blonde color batter mocha highlight yeah. They don't make alvin mocha. Oh, i know i'm sorry. I didn't see that didn't see that okay. So this is a true. Their light is like platinum, blonde and keep in mind. Blondes always show shinier because of the lighting we use so um, and this wig is natalie after the video. I will put these in the description box as soon as i get the time. I only have the colors at the top, and i tried to put the names with them as well. So after the video, if you see a style, you like just pop down you'll, see the name of the wig, the color and then a time stamp. What color is that 102f buttermilk? Oh that's right! Okay, now we'll show it on kimberly. This cap is so comfortable. I know - and i love that wig - that was our wig of the week. A couple weeks ago it was nice cute asymmetric, we didn't get a brush, natalie is not offered enlarge, comes in petite, but not large, but it runs pretty big. I mean i peop. I'Ve had to alter a petite before yeah all right. Let'S move on down to the next one: it's going to be 1622 banana cream. I do not know where they come up with these names and i don't even know if they're right i've contacted our rep, but she hadn't emailed me back yet so we're just going to say they are so this is allure. It is one of their wigs from their classic series, just a layer cut, and this is going to be fully blended. You really don't see a lot of you, don't see the highlight low light, so it's it's pretty blended and for people that, like that fully blended and like a gold tone that has a gold tone, so obviously all the colors that we show don't come in all The styles, so if you see a particular color you like, then you have to go see what it comes, or vice versa. Shauna says the same: people that sit in a room and come up with paint colors right. Well, whoever did genre knows they were really hungry. They must have been on a diet because they all have something to do with food or um alcoholic beverages. There you go like martini, okay, next color blonde brownie, okay. First of all that reminds me of those drunken blondies which we still have sam. I put in the fridge - oh, we forgot to oh deb and becky brought us these drunken blondies. They were so cute. I mean i'm sure you saw the picture on the wig chicks group, but um their because they brought the recipe to and she's like it calls for two tablespoons, but we put three and i was like yes: okay, we're good all right uh. What'S next becky, i'm not keeping my wig on with misty put her wig on, because the thing is we're only putting the color at the top, and if i keep my wig on, then we have different colors on the label won't match and it may be confusing To people i don't know where my 22 of 16 went, would you grab one didn't matter? What all righty blonde brownie? That'S what 22 of 16 i double checked. I thought it was creme brulee. No, that is 24v22. Okay, that's what two websites said, but it wasn't. The jon renau website, so it could be fake news. I told somebody creme brulee the other day you did, but it's okay, because i i believed you and that's so this this we talked. Can i talk sometimes the regular dominoes versus the um professional um, the more professional, sometimes they're, a little bit more blended. This is nice and kind of almost almost chunky. Yeah, the um, the regular jon renau 22f16, has lighter in the front graduates darker in the professional collection. We'Ve noticed that it is more blended, so you don't have that light front that you do, but it's still a beautiful color. Yes, i like this color, it's great for natural bonds who don't want to see that root and again i don't know. If i said colleen says we must be crowded, we can just reach over and grab a you have color idea. I took a picture last week when we got done and i'll post it just just for fun, because it was the biggest mess back here ever. So. If you think that we're in like this big, like area and we have a warehouse and then we have a studio - oh my goodness or or some people think we have stylists that like do stuff well, we now we're gon na have a do. We have we're gon na have more room, but right now we don't now we have a wind machine, okay, moving right along blonde brownie in january. Brulee is an interesting color yeah i mean it's pretty it's pretty. It'S got some gold to it. It does have some color dimension more so than some of the other ones that are more blended again. Brooklyn uh rosie rose wants to know how she tells her grandson to quit. Texting when the wig chicks are on. Oh, my gosh that video was so cute of that little boy y'all. I wanted to share it, but i couldn't because it was in the private that poor kid probably thinks we're like cartoon characters. But did you hear his like whole? I think it's her grandson standing in front of the television while she was watching us and he was just talking to us so cute, all right, creme brulee, creme brulee. I like me a good creme brulee, i'm not crazy about that. It'S the texture, my friend tina. That'S her favorite favorite dessert of all time, and you know what her birthday's coming up and last year i made it for her birthday. I might make it again. Let me give a pound of 14.24. 1424 is one of those colors. It doesn't hardly come in anything anymore. It used to be really popular, but it's not okay. So let's move yeah, let's just skip it: okay, 14 26., we're getting pralines and cream who doesn't like a good praline. Now we all know: we've talked about them enough. Oh darlene finally made it to a live session. Welcome so this starts to go into the strawberry blondes. Yes, this color is really pretty again lighter in the front. A little darker in the back good highlights good low light. Nice warm tone, and that is in the january. You know and some people - everybody sees color differently, and so some people would call this a strawberry blonde. Some people's idea of strawberry blonde is darker. For me. I think this is kind of a true strawberry blonde, but, like i said everybody sees it differently, it's cute. It is cute that color also comes rooted with your shade a minute. A lot of these colors aren't rooted um, someone asked a minute ago. What is a good blonde if you're a brunette and ken mentioned earlier? Some people don't want the root, but if you're a natural brunette - and you have dark brows, go with rooted and we'll show you those next all right. Next color eclair. This is the one. I don't understand the 24bt18 is called eclair, but if you put a root in it, it's called shaded mocha. So why don't? They just call this mocha? Well, you know that kind of reminds me of those maple eclairs that at the donut shop, not that we've ever eaten donuts or anything kim's favorite is maple. I wouldn't even know that though, okay, this is elle. Oh, it's also the kind of the color of that i love this color the corner, bakery my birthday cake, color. Okay, do we want to bring up birthday cakes? I didn't get my birthday cake, i don't even i offered. I was going to go, get it. We got donuts, though, all the way from allen, so i can't complain, but i love if you're in texas - and you know rose's tortilla factory, they have the best chocolate cake. Okay, this is a good color. On that day, she was talking about going on a diet on monday, so she didn't want to have cake. It was saturday yeah and we'd already had so many donuts and it was busy okay. So this color is good if you're a natural like dark blonde yeah that color's real pretty on you love it yeah eclair's, a good one. Like i said like or like missy said earlier, it's all about food, always jon renau loves us so much to know that we can relate to food. I i wouldn't really make it about it. I think they had. No, that's all about us kim. Let me just think it at least all right: 24 bt18 eclair - and this is l - yes, now - i'm really about to throw a wrench and think leave that on for just a second, because they make a color called 24bt18f and we have that whole color breakdown. With john renau, which we're going to do again, i think we should do it again when we, maybe when we do our back to school series - kate, my birthday's not till the end of october. I just start talking about that birthday cake early because they only make it once a year, so good everybody gets to benefit okay. So this is gabby and i mean it's hard to tell. But the front of this is the same same two color combinations, but the wrench is thrown up here in the back, because now it's dark in the back, whereas this one is not, i mean. Obviously this is a really short wig and it doesn't look the same. Okay, you can check it off now. This is called bavarian cream barbarian dark bag, and this is gabby. This is a corner bakery. They make these little bundlets and it's the pumpkin ginger, the gingerbread. It used to just be called pumpkin, but now it's got gingerbread thrown in there somewhere. It doesn't matter it's good, it's so moist and the the glaze they put on it. I can't even go into detail it's so good yeah. I, like things, super sweet and misty. Doesn'T like things all that sweet um, but we both love it it's a great balance. How do we get to talking about it? Let'S see what the next one's called toasted marshmallow, which reminds me of little marsha. Oh, i made a s'mores pie the other day with toasted marshmallows. On top it was good. I have never even heard of that. I shouldn't i did you make it a cast iron skillet. I did make s'mores cupcakes one time for a little boy shower, because we had like an outdoor theme and it was so cute. They were cute. They had a little toasted marshmallow on top. Then you put the graham cracker in it anyway. Actually i should rephrase this. I bought the cupcakes from sam's and i put the marshmallow and the graham cracker on top, but you know hey, they were cute, it was just you know, then you didn't really make them. I assembled them partially. It wasn't like an ikea assembly. It was more like a i don't know: lincoln log assembly, okay, toasted marshmallow. Does this even look like a toasted marshmallow? No, because toast marshmallows are not yellow if i'm not yellow anyway, dusty, marshmallow, julia, julia, okay, okay, all right deb! We have a lady, one of our clients, lives in louisiana and she wears this and it's so beautiful on her this same style and same color yeah. I love julia because it has that good layering down here, so you can get some height, but it's not too full all right, honey syrup. This is probably one of my least favorite colors, because i don't look good in it um, but and i'm going to show you this in ignite. So it's a heat defiant, oh my goodness, over time, putting knight on almost like squeeze my brains out so glad that it starts coming in larger. There'S, not that many of them. So you know that's the truth. Okay, so this is ignite honey syrup. It does have a honey color to it. Anytime. You see honey, it's going to be more warm! Oh judy. I'Ve never had creme brulee coffee creamer. Oh, i have had that. It'S good what brand! I think coffee mate makes it well now and they make all those like skinny syrups. You know they make a creme brulee in the. I think it's skinny girl brand, but, oh sorry, ruth is asking when we're going to be in the new shop. It'S going to be a while um permits are being pulled, takes a while to get everything put together and the materials and um. I don't know all that good stuff. If they tell you three months, it's gon na be six. You know i'm guessing it's to be december. That'S all i want for christmas. This year is not to work in a hazardous zone. Oh my gosh, a hazardous zone thing you know she's gon na be asking for a hard hat. Oh yeah. I think about that. You want one of those. Well, you remember that time the wig fell and hit you in the eye and gave you black eyes. Oh yeah, that was on my birthday, that was on my fiftieth day. I'M pretty sure that was my fault, so we were having to get wigs down from really high and i did something to upset the balance of the universe and one of the boxes came down and eaten well and i feel bad. I didn't. I know better when wig boxes are falling, you don't look up, and i know better than that and i looked up so when they're falling you'd take over yeah like we're in an avalanche yeah. That corner got me right there: okay, one more and rudy color andre. The new shop's gon na be directly across the street, so we'll be at the same intersection just uh on the north side. Instead of the south side, this is jazz. Jazz is a good alternative to voltage. If you wear that and want a different color line to choose from, i get tired of raw kales, and this is cinnamon cinnamon syrup. I don't get either cinnamon's kind of red, but well it's the low light's warm. But when i think of cinnamon, i think of brown, i think of like toasty brown kind of ready, yeah, you know like 8 30 or something yeah wonder what they call 8 30. It'S in jazz jazz is such a great style. It is it's part of their oso light collection, so you get all this nice fullness, but the whole wig weighs like an ounce and a half. It'S crazy and jazz also comes in petite. Yes, and it comes on top okay kroger king super kroger makes creme brulee creamer, okay good to know. Oh, i i don't really drink coffee at home that much because i'm lazy and there's a starbucks literally four miles from my house what next rooted, which one? Oh sorry, how, let's, let's just start with the good old, faithful 12fs8 - i did not put these wigs in order for her, so it's gon na take her a minute yeah because i don't feel like my hustle. Oh no, i'm sorry it's a trick! Well, you can cheat down here. This is rosie, you know, and rosie is such a great style. I forget about rose it's longer than cameron, it's not as long as l. It'S got some layering, so it's got a lot of good movement to it. It is lace front with a full mono top yeah. I forget about rosie rosie's, so pretty shaded praline is a color that jon renau developed from one of the employees that worked for jon renau had this color and they decided that's a beautiful color. I think we'll replicate that, so it was actually a person that had really had this color hair, which would be really hard to achieve. It'S got great great balance of warm and cool. It'S not overly one direction or the other, so you can. I wear it and i don't like a lot of gold and then 12 of us 12 is going to be next. Thank you rosie. I like rosie she's, a good good one. If you want to have kind of long hair, but not long hair and it the color is um at the top of the screen. It'S 12fs8 also known as shaded praline. How do you keep your album looking so fresh and new? Well, i don't. I only wear a couple times a week and i just i don't over wash her either i mean i've only washed her, maybe twice so okay and keep her nice and brushed out and then oh, i'm sorry. Can you put that back on yeah all right. So this is malibu blonde and the difference between shaded, praline and malibu blonde is just the color of the root. So the highlighting and low light is going to be the same. It'S just at the root. It'S a lighter color, it's a shade, lighter and that's actually, two shades, two shades lighter so uh. This has got an eight, which is a medium brown and then 12 is a lighter brown so, depending on what you prefer uh, the lighter root really is good. On a lot of people, some people feel like that uh root and the shade of praline is too dark. Well, the the 12fs8 looks great on you because you have naturally dark eyebrows um mine aren't so i can just kind of adjust them to the wig. So just kind of, but i have both yeah you do you look great in both. I have both okay, all right. 14. 26. S10. All right we'll be next. It seems like all the wigs, with the exception of my chocolate, frost, alva, all the wigs i've gotten like in the last year have been blonde in a blonde on a blonde. Kick all right. Deb says she has an albus. She feels like it's a little bit too long and is asking about cutting the length um. Okay, let me just give you my opinion, not saying no but anytime, you want to cut something like that. It needs to be done when it's new and before the fibers start to wear, because when they start to wear, they get a little thicker and a little bit more rough and it's harder to blend it. So if you cut it when it's brand new and it's nice and soft, you can kind of just see what you're doing better it just doesn't look choppy okay. This is 14. 26. S10. Now we showed you the 1426 without the root earlier, and so this is what's the root. It'S cute. I like that color a lot. This is a good transition if either you're red wanting to go blonde or you're blonde wanting to go red. So it's a good right in between got a great great warmth to it. That'S the one we kind of described as strawberry, blonde 24, 10., shaded, pralines and cream january gosh. Can you tell we love january tonight like three different colors doreen says she has the same. You have the same blouse, it's so cute, it's so comfy and cool because y'all they were just saying last week how it's been so mild. I think we summoned the eternal heat because it is hot. It is hot, poor sharon. They came down from idaho yesterday and she said it's just humid and hot, but they also were under a blanket of eight feet of snow in a cabin in idaho for months. She said it was so bad that she's, like the the snow, just like, came off of their roof and just like curved around, and you could see nothing, it's crazy all right! This is 24bt18 s8 showed it shaded mocha. So we showed you what they call it. Oh, that was the eclipse eclair. That'S right. I love this color on cam. I'Ve always loved this color on cam. I don't think she's ever got a wig in this color because she doesn't take my advice, but i love it on you, 103 in oregon. That'S not right, i mean they've got humidity, you know a few months a couple of months ago. They were under that, but they called it a heat bubble yeah and it was hotter there than it was here. It'S kind of oh jeannie is your ac out. I'M sorry that is terrible. My seat went out on a fourth of july weekend and it was so hot. You were not celebrating your freedom. Were you oh you're, not celebrating anything without with no air. This they kind of remember jon. Renau puts that little bit of blonde right at the lace front. I love that even they just started doing that because raquel was the instigator to that. So i'm glad they're doing that now well and we requested it for a long time. 22.. Um. F-16. All right! This is 22f16s eight, so we showed you the 22 f 16 earlier. This is part of their california blondes collection and it's been a while back. But if you go back to our videos previously - and you just want to see those wigs in those colors from that collection, you can just search for california blondes. So this is haley, and this is part of the professional collection. It'S a great style lace, front. Full mono, yes, um audra. Yes, that was zara molly's. Here she said she was late. She was working on a baby quilt. Oh i just left my apron. I can't get over how much i love it. I wore my apron this weekend. Well, i'm saving mine for when i move, because i don't like well, i didn't wear it for like the really dirty stuff. I have a different apron, but then, when i was just kind of putting stuff together, i wanted to be cute. I wore that apron, uh lynn's, asking is venice blonde considered warmer than shaded. Biscuit yes, shaded biscuit is a raquel welch, color, very cool, very cool. The only thing close to that we'll show you it's going to be the last color. We show you so if you wear shaded biscuit, stick around a little bit longer, because we're going to show you colors kind of con considered equal patty. All the wigs that we're showing today are all traditional synthetic with the exception of ignite, which is heat, defiant and then we're going to show you an eve and that's also heat defiant. Everything else is regular fiber. I like this wig, it's just a good classic mob. No bang venice blonde right, okay, the nape length on um haley. I have to look i'm going to say four inches um. It'S on the website. It looks shinier because of the lights that we use for the camera so um, but if you ever have a wig that shiny blondes are the ones that to pick up the most light spray, some dry shampoo. Well, it's like my jolie that i just had on this brand new. I mean we doused it in bran and dry shampoo yesterday to get rid of that shine and we're just putting these on both of us just so you can see it on a different stand.
