Wig Transformation (From Blonde To White Silver Hair )

Hey guys winter is coming. That is what i'm naming this wig. Her name is winter. Yes, i do name my wigs you guys, but in today's video i'm going to show you guys how i transform this yellow hair into this. This is the look we are going for today and you guys i could not decide if i love the middle part or the side part, but you guys comment down below and let me know what's your favorite, i promise you this tutorial is super easy and if You want to learn how to achieve it then continue to watch. This is the wig i'm using today fresh out the box. The hair is from ulysses hair and it is a pre-made wig, 14 inches. All the hair info will be in the description bar down below the first thing: we're going to do we're going to tone the hair, so i'm going to be using my purple shampoo. This is by shimmer lights and now we're in my laundry room, the lighting kind of sucks in here. So i'm going to add this to my bucket right here of hot water. You can use cold water, it really doesn't matter, but i didn't want to freeze my hand off in cold water. So now i'm going to put my wig into this water and i'm going to tone it we're going to take it from yellow to kind of like a white blonde, get rid of that yellow tone. We don't need it. We don't want by the way the longer you keep the hair in the purple shampoo. It can turn into like a silvery white. So if that's not the look, you want to go for, don't keep it in there for too long. I try to avoid putting my lace in there like the top of the lace, because i don't want the lace to change color because it can get like kind of like a gray tone, and i don't want to have a gray lace. Now i'm going to go in with the wella t18 toner and i'm going to use two parts of this to create like a silvery white hair and that's what i'm going for today. So i mixed it with the salon, care cream developer and i'm going to go ahead and apply this all over my wig, i'm not going to leave it on for very long. You have to move very fast with the toner yeah. You got to move very fast with the toners, or else this wig is going to look funky, so i left it on for about 15 minutes, and this is what she looks like it's a really nice silver white tone, and that is what i want now. If you're looking at this wig, you might see some yellow spots but guys keep in mind a lot of these 613 hairs. They are not 100 human hair they're, not 100 virgin hair. I feel like there's some plastics in the hair by the way, if you know anything about 613, then you know you know what i'm talking about anyways moving right along. We are gon na go ahead and now we're gon na straighten out this hair. Before we strain it, i'm going to add some serum to it. Some add some hair serum. So the hair looks you know nice and healthy, and i'm going to go in with my flat iron and start straightening. The hair, i'm not going to show the whole step of me straightening this hair because you guys know how to use a flat iron. I haven't done a bob in forever. I wanted a bob today. Listen cutting is not my favorite thing to do, because i don't know what i'm doing, i'm just i'm just doing it. Okay, so grab yourself some scissors and follow along. So this is what, if you're following along but yeah, i'm gon na go in with my scissors and i'm gon na start cutting this hair, because i want it to be super short and cute. This wig is originally 14 inches and i want a lot shorter. I'M not gon na lie to you. It'S a bit choppy it's a lot choppy actually and but on the mannequin head. It looks okay, but we're gon na thin it out, because this wig is a 180 density, so the hair was pretty thick. As you can see. My husband is helping me out. He went in and got the razor because i really chopped the hell up out of this wig like it was not cute, so he knows how to use a razor he's gon na fix it up. For me, i don't really know what i'm doing when it comes to using a razor, so i needed some help and it turned out great. Thank you. Babes listen moving forward whenever i need a bob wig he's going to be doing it for me, because i'd be messing up my box, all the time anyways i'm going to go in with my flat iron now and i'm going to start curling it under you know You guys know how to use a flat iron, but yeah, i'm gon na curl it under just to you know, shape it just a little bit because she's just she just looked a little blunt. So we're fixing her up and honey. I'M living for the cut like she's, looking cute and guys like i mentioned before, because this is 613 here and i do believe, there's some plastic in it, even though they say it's virgin hair. I believe, there's some plastic in it. The color is not consistent. Okay, in my last video i used this lace grid filler. I will put all the info for that in my description bar down below it's like a concealer, but it's not it's like a wax, but it helps to hide the knots on the wig and it also helps to hide the grid lines. So you don't have those ugly little holes on your wig and the thing is with 6 13 wig, especially when you tone it. The knots get really really white and really visible, and i don't want that. I want it to look like skin when i put the wig on my head. I don't want to see the little white knots, so i use it to hide the knots now, i'm going to go ahead and sew. This elastic band onto my wig it'll just help to keep the wig secure in my head, so it fits better because the wig is just a tad just a little bit big for my head. Listen, i don't know why i'm trying to serve face, but just ignore that anyways. I have my ball cap on and i'm gon na go ahead and put my wig on and i'm gon na pop this wig on and yeah she's looking a little crazy, but we're gon na fix that we're just gon na make some adjustments: okay, she's on she's. Looking good and i just had to do that - stiff wear stiff now, let's move on to application. I'M gon na go in with my scissors and these scissors are kind of dull, so i'm gon na switch over to these small scissors that are not dull and i'm gon na cut my lace in sections. You guys already know how i do i like to cut it in sections, because it's easier for me to apply this way and i'm gon na go ahead and cut off that section right by the air. It'S my least favorite, but we got it. We did it. It looks good it's fine, and now i'm gon na go ahead and get some glue. We'Re gon na be using the bold hole, lace glue, and this is the one by um. I am lonzo. Arnold love this glue, it's my favorite, so i'm gon na apply this on my forehead area. You know what guys i do not like applying glue when i have makeup on honestly, i feel like my wig application is cleaner and better when i have no makeup on, but i'm not gon na lie. I want to look cute today, so i did my makeup. First but anyways, so not that i don't think i look cute without makeup anyways ignore that i'm gon na go ahead and i'm gon na go in with my rat tail comb and you know blow dry. It set that lace melt it down and cut off that excess lace, because we don't need it by the way. This is not hd lace. This is transparent lace. I did apply some foundation to the lace, so it matches my skin perfectly and i just went in with my got to be free spray and i'm applying it to the lace just to melt it down if you're new to wigs and you're new to my channel, I have very detailed beginner friendly wig application videos, so i'll link one of those videos in the description bar down below, because i know i'm going a little fast with this application. But that's because i've done this before so i'm doing the same exact thing that i did on the forehead area, i'm applying the glue and you want to wait for the glue to dry clear, go in with the blow dry. If you need to and then slap that lace down by the way you guys so this hair color was a bit inspired by the hair diagram. She does a lot of youtube videos as well and she's. Actually, the owner of boldhole lace glue. I will link her video in the description bar down below, so i've done the tone in here before videos. I'Ve done videos on how to tone hair with purple shampoo, but i've never actually done the t18 toner before, and i got that idea from her. So i tried it out and i like to give credit where credit is due, especially if i learned something from someone else, so yeah check out her video as well. So now i'm going to go back in with my god to be free spray and just melt down that lace and honey she's. Looking cute now we have a lot of frizz, so i'm gon na get rid of the frizz, and you guys this frizzy thing that i'm using this wax. I actually got this from a wig company, so i'm not sure which one i got it from, but you can get these at sally's, not the exact same brand, but they do have wax that you can use to get rid of the frizz and it helps to Melt down the lace really good, i mean melt down your wig, really good. I'M just gon na go in with my curling iron once more just to curl the front under, because i don't really like how it's looking at the end. It'S just looking straight and just dead, and it's not really doing anything for me, but now i curl it under and i'm feeling it she's looking really good now yeah. So that's not a curling iron, that's a flat iron! I don't know why. I said curling iron today, but yeah i was using my flat iron anywho. This is pretty much the completed look, and i also want you guys to see how the hair looks inside part as well and honestly, i don't know which one i like better. I like them both, but you guys can. Look, the hair looks good, the cut looks, it looks pretty good, it's decent, i'm not gon na say it looks the best, but it's pretty decent, and i really hope you guys love this video.
