Hey everyone, its Michelle and welcome back to my channel, so I am back with another video for you guys and today I'm going to show you how I transform this wig right here into this one. So I'll show you guys how I achieve this color from start to finish. If you want to see how I achieve it, then please continue to watch alright. So let's get started. They here that I'm using it's from Ali pearl. I'Ve used it here in a lot of my videos. I will link all the hair info in a description bar down below and the lace frontal that I'm using it's also from Ali pearl, and this is their transparent glaze. I actually didn't know that they carry transparent lace, I've used their Brownlee's and I, like the transparent lace, a lot better for my skin tone, because the brown waist is a little bit too dark on my skin. It never really looks super natural, but this one looks a lot more natural because I can tint it to match my skin. So I really really like this lace. Now, I'm gon na be making this wig off-camera. You guys see me done this before, so I'm just gon na go ahead and you know so my frontal onto the cap and so all the wefted hair onto the cap - and this is pretty much the finished result. So I haven't colored her as yet. This is what she's looking like. I have a bleached in knots or anything, but we are gon na transform this wig right here. So this is my Vaseline, my trusty Vaseline that I used to cover up the lace that way the lace does not get messed up when we're coloring it. So it's just acts as a shield just to protect alright. So now we're gon na move on to color, and this is the color I'm using first. This is the eye on permanent hair color in the shade Mochaccino and I'm using the ion number 20 cream developer. You can use any other brand. I went with number 20 because I didn't want to use a high developer because I didn't want the hair to get too light. So I'm gon na transform this natural black hair to a brown shade. So I'm mixing for parts developer with those two Mochaccino shade and I'm gon na mix them all together. Alright, so now I'm gon na put the hair in sections and make sure you are wearing your gloves before you start applying the hair dye all over the hair. So I'm just gon na go ahead and start applying this, and this is just going to lift that hair color from black to a nice chocolate brown like I mentioned before. If you want it to be lifted a little bit higher, you can use a stronger developer. I won't wait 20 developer because I've never done this before so I don't know how what results I was gon na get and you don't have to take it up all the way to the roots. If you want to keep the roots a little bit darker as well again, I wasn't really sure. However, I left it on for about 45 minutes, and this is how it's starting to look. You can see that it's brown it's hard to tell once the hair is wet, so I washed it all out alright, so I'm gon na go in with some powder Lightner and I'm gon na use the same 20 developer and I'm gon na go ahead and bleach. The knots on this wig on the frontal, because the knots have not gotten bleach as yet as you can see, so I did the bleaching after I turned the hair into that nice. Chocolate brown - and I left it on for about 30 minutes, and then I washed it out in the nostril bleach. I do have a more detailed video on how I bleach your nas, but this is pretty much the end result and this is the hair color. Now I'm really really loving the shade of brown. So now I'm gon na go ahead and grab some small sections because I'm gon na go ahead and try to add some highlights and I'm using the same exact product that I used to bleach their knots. So I'm grabbing small sections and then I'm gon na wrap it in some foil just to keep it separated. So it's not touching each other, because I only want certain pieces to be bleached now, wherever you want to add your highlights. That'S completely up to you! I'M just grabbing random pieces of hair applying the product all over it and again I use the number 20 developer I could have went in with a stronger one, but this is the one I had so I just went in with the 20 developer and again like I mentioned I'm just grabbing small sections and I'm just gon na speed. This part up yeah. This part is pretty much repetitive, so I'm pretty much doing the same thing over and over now, when I do get closer to the top. I'M gon na grab two pieces of here in the front. That way, if I want to do like a center part or a side part, it's not gon na look weird, because I'm not gon na have enough blonde pieces in the front, and I actually went ahead and add some more in the back as well. Now I did leave this on for about 40 minutes and this is what it's looking like right now, I'm really loving the results. I went ahead and I washed it all out off-camera. Now I'm gon na go ahead and I'm gon na use a toner. So I have my mixing bowl and I have my wallet t18 toner. This is gon na help tone those blond pieces because they're looking a little brassy right now and I'm gon na use the same number 20 developer. So you want to mix two parts developer with the wallet owner and I'm gon na go ahead and apply that all over those caramel blonde pieces. Well, they look a little brassy they're, not caramel, right now. So, as I mentioned before, I am no expert. You guys, I'm really not a professional, I'm literally like we knit all the time and hoping and praying that it comes out right now at first I was kind of like. Maybe I should bleach it again because the blonde pieces weren't as light as I wanted it to be, but I was just like you know what let me just wait until I get the inner results, so I use a twenty developer I feel like. I could have used a thirty developer to get a lighter shade, but this is what I have I'm working with right now, so I'm gon na be leaving this on the hair. For about thirty minutes, I'm leaving the toner on for thirty minutes and then I'm gon na step up camera to wash the toner out and the shampoo that I'm using it's a purple shampoo. This one is by ion, so this will also help to get rid of the brass. So this is a shampoo that I apply in the hair and I actually let it sit in the hair for about a good ten minutes, and this is the hair when it's wet. So it's a chocolatey Brown with these caramel highlights. I'M gon na go in with my blow-dryer and start drawing this hair and yeah. My wig stand is just it's just not having it, and this is the end result so guys I wasn't really feeling it. I wasn't really in love with it at this moment and I was just like aw screw this, I'm getting off camera and the next day I still put the wig on, and this is the hair like the next day. I styled it and I was like damn she's actually cute, I'm feeling her and I posted a picture of it on Instagram and you guys really really love this wig. I was not gon na post. This video I'm really hard on myself when it comes to my hair tutorials, you guys cuz again, I'm new at this and I'm not a professional, so I'm extremely hard on myself, but you guys really liked it on Instagram. So I had to post the video for you guys so yeah this is me styling the hair with my flat iron and I'm just trying to recur all the hair, the curls that I had previous they're like a day old now, so I just want to like Fix them up a little bit and I just use my flat iron and curl it away from my face and the hair product that I use is the ion hair serum. That'S the only thing I really use. I don't really use any hairspray or anything like that, and I'm really really loving the end result. Natalia Velez: Just a tip! There’s different developers depending on what level you want to lift to. 10 vol deposits color only, 20 vol lifts 2 levels, 30 vol lifts 3 levels, 40 lifts 4 levels. The level system is 1-10, level 1 being the darkest (black) and 10 being the lightest (pale blonde). Your wig starting out looked about a level 3. The color you chose was a 6 so to get a level 6 you would’ve needed to use 30 vol developer and left on for the amount of time it says in the manufacturers directions. So next time say for example you have a wig that’s a level 2 and you want it to be a level 6 you would use 40 vol. Nevertheless the color turned out GORGEOUS! You always do a beautiful job! Thomas Helder: i think this would look even more perfect with a little bit more ashy tones in it. i love to use the schwarzkopf more vibrance 7-1 on darker hair highlights/ balayage. for real light blond hair i love 9-1 and 9.5-21. BUT i always mix it with clear to have more playing time while aplying. these toners are VERY quick. the 7-1 is usualy done in 10 min with the gel 1.8% developer. try them out! i think you would love them <3
