Hair to me is an expression of yourself.. You see someone walking down a street. The hair is like their halo., I'm Cynthia Alvarez and I'm going to show you how to do a rose gold, hair transformation.. Before you see my hair transformation subscribe below.. I have been a celebrity hairstylist for about 12 years.. My first like serious, celebrity job was going on tour with Alicia Keys. Like at 21. I was traveling to Australia and New Zealand and Asia., And it was an amazing experience.. I specialize in transformations. I like to use really vibrant colors haircuts extensions.. I do a lot of wigs.. I have really remained true to who I am and what I believe to be artistry.. So the inspiration behind my rose gold hair transformation today is my son.. He wants to transform his hair from blonde to indigo blue., And I thought that we could both rock colorful hair., Alright guys. So here we are. We're about to do the hair. Color transformation. Clip those sections always so that they're not getting in your way as you're coloring, your hair.. Now I'm leaving this section because I like to start from the back.. As you can see, I have a lot of brown mixed in with the blonde., So I'm just going to place the color all over. Now what's great about this color is that I can literally apply with my fingers, because it's not such a bold color.. It won't stain.. If you did have a bold color like a blue or purple, I would suggest using gloves. And it's going down. So the reason why I chose Overtone color as opposed to any other brand, is because this company has a healthy hair duo, meaning that it has the color care and the color conditioner.. So you can literally maintain your hair color. Every time you wash. Quarantining folks we're quarantining. Everyone's staying at home. Once I'm done with each subsection, I'm going to twist it.. So that way it doesn't start getting mixed in with any other hair section.. So, while you're applying this, you want to go from the ends., See how I concentrated the product on the lightest parts of my hair.. I take small subsections because I want the color to really penetrate each strand of hair.. One of the reasons why I chose rose gold was because I also had to take into consideration the other colors in my hair., So like yeah, I have the blond highlights, but my base is a brown like a warm brown., And so I wanted the color that I chose to complement my base color as well.. I can't wait for this to be over and I'll be a whole new woman.. So before you apply any semi-permanent color, especially this color conditioner, you want to make sure your hair is clean and free of any product.. You don't want to put too much product in it, because you don't want to block your hair from being able to penetrate the color. Okay.. Now this process would typically take me anywhere from maybe 30 minutes to 45 minutes to apply. And then another maybe hour to process., But because this particular product Overtone says that you can only process it for about 15 to 20 minutes, because it absorbs so quickly. That makes me really excited, because I have a child. I have to work.. There are things that I need to do that I can do while getting cute while still being really really cute with the process.. Well I'll see you guys in a bit. Can't wait to show you my new hair Okay.. Oh my god, It looks so cool.. I absolutely love it.. I feel very rosada.. It'S so spicy.. I feel like I'm going to have a lot of fun in this hair. Color and I feel sexy., The amazing thing about this color is how simple and easy it was to achieve at home.. I think, in order for this color to work for you, you'd have to get highlights of some sort and that I would definitely recommend you go to see a professional., So the first person who's going to see my hair is my child.. I think he's going to flip his lid when he sees my hair color., We're gon na be like the Bobbsey Twins. He's gon na be blue.. I'M gon na be rose gold.. I think that we're definitely going to be like the dynamic duo walking down the street.. I hope I inspired all of you to just take a risk and have fun during quarantine.. You can't do no wrong really.. This is all self-expression.. Your hair is an extension of your personality.. Sevi Regis: Deposited quite a lot of pigment, came out a deep copper in the camera lighting, although outside you can see some more of the pink. To get a true Rose Gold with this product on her hair, would probably have to add some lighter shade of pink and conditioner. There are various shades of Rose Gold, from very light pastel to a deeper mid tone, but it's always a balance between Blonde and Rose shades. When the Orange takes over it is no longer a blonde shade but in the red family. I think this color will fade to Rose Gold after a couple washes.
