Hi, my name is Lynnzee and I’m getting a Rainbow Hair Transformation. I’m very bored of my current hair. I’ve, always had long blonde wavy hair.. I have gotten highlights before, but I’ve never really dyed. My hair. I’m excited to make a really crazy change.. Before I get my hair transformation, don’t forget to subscribe below., My name is Lynnzee I’m from Alaska and I’m a producer.. I was born and raised in Anchorage Alaska and I lived there until college. I’m currently in film school and I’m, surrounded by incredibly artsy creative people. All the time., I think rainbow hair is really creative and unique, personable and fun.. I think it’ll actually help me fit in to get rainbow hair.. I think it’s a great way to show self-expression and show your creativity get outside your shell and try something new. Like I said, I’m from Anchorage Alaska.. Nobody, there has rainbow hair.. I know there’s a lot of celebrities who get rainbow hair like Hayley Kiyoko, and I think that’s really inspiring.. I think it’s important to step outside the box and try new things.. I think rainbow hair is a great way to do that.. My name is Daniel Moon and I own Hair best salon in downtown Los Angeles. I’ve heard Daniel Moon has the craziest color in Los Angeles.. I follow him on Instagram. He posts the craziest styles. So excited to see what he does with my hair. Rainbow hair time. I have a lot of hair but texture, wise, it’s, very fine, which means I can be prone to damage., I’m, worried about the bleach and all the colors that are going to go into it.. I’M also nervous about people staring and looking at me funny, but I think after getting this hair, I’m going to feel very confident. Knowing that I can pull off something so crazy. Rainbow hair color, isn’t just for people who have bleached hair.. I like to put rainbow hair color over highlights or just a small section, so everybody can enjoy color. I’m, going to divide your hair into six sections for seven colors.. Where is the seventh color going to go We’re doing a seven color rainbow today. We’re starting with peach going to green. A little bit of orange., Moving on to pink, lavender, yellow and finishing off with a nice vibrant coral. For our first color we’re starting off with Pink., Keeping it nice and soft right around your face. There’s, no going back now., So next color is going to be yellow.. I like the sunshine to come after the pink. Yellow is one of the colors. I was actually really nervous, about. Everyone’s afraid of yellow cause. They think it’s going to be a bad blonde., But a bad blonde is a bad blonde., So the next color I’m doing is a fire ball red fading into a magenta pink.. I also love to French braid, my hair, so I’m really excited to see what it looks like with all the colors. It’s going to look like a braid. That’S had a bunch of lucky charms for breakfast, that’s what it’s going to look like.. I thought I was going to look in the mirror, while this was going on and not recognize myself like be a new person but you’re right.. It just feels right. It’s, going to be so much more fun. You’re going to look at yourself more.. This is happening. And for the last for the grand finale color…I like to wait, you know for the very end, to see how this whole process has gone and if you’re excited about color, I add something bright. And if you’re not, I add something a little more Subtle. You liked the color so I’m, bringing in a neon green. Woah. Oh my gosh., To the shampoo ball. Alright Wow.! Oh my gosh It’s, like nothing I’ve ever seen, before., I love it It’s, so bright, it’s, so fun. So free.. I feel like such a wild person. I had no idea what to expect. When I walked in today.. I was worried. It was going to be really bright and jarring, but I feel like it’s, very natural. I’ve seen a lot of rainbow hairstyles, but this is prettier than I could’ve imagined. I loved working with Danny today.. I am very inspired by the way he sees color in the world and turns it into hair art.. It was great working with Lynnzee, because it’s nice to see rainbow colored hair in a natural version.. The color took really well and Lynnzee’s hair wasn’t damaged at all.. I was worried about damage and having it dry out my hair, but it feels very smooth and healthy and clean. Advice for having rainbow colored hair for the first time start. Light., Condition your hair and get a silk pillow case. Getting rainbow. Hair is kind of symbolic of me stepping outside of what people expect me to do.. I’M, really excited to show my family and friends., I’m really nervous as to what they’re going to say, but I think they’re going to love it.. Thank you for watching Refinery29.. Christopher Alexander: This color is not evenly distributed AT ALL....do not say "oh, well that's the look they were going for." No no no! Her hair was not porous enough to absorb the color...those are direct dyes. You need to be a high level blonde for those colors to stick. This is going to wash out in a few days

Mary Kate Hilton: As a 35 year old woman that's been rocking a "galaxy" type of look (a base of cobalt blue and royal purple with some teal highlights thrown in) since around mid 2015, I've absolutely LOVED having my hair this way. When I was a teen I desperately wanted blue hair but in the late 90's early 2000's there was still a stigma attached to people with non-normal hair colors. My current hair colors actually look better on me than any natural color I've ever had. I get compliments all the time, and mainly from seniors which I think is just awesome. I love your new rainbow locks!
