If you want that contrasty look like I did in my last video, you will use a 6g.. If you want more softer, look like I have today, you will be using an 8g. Same exact application technique and it's very simple.. It takes about five to ten minutes, to apply 25 minutes to process and then shampoo and condition and you're all ready to go.. So let's get started.. Let me show you step by step as I do it myself and you learn at home. All right. So the first thing you will need is a 20 volume developer.. I like this JOICO developer because it is sensitive on the hair and it's non drying. So I love that.. You will need a bowl, a brush and the color., So you mix equal parts of the color to the developer, so one ounce color one ounce developer.. Once you have mixed that to a creamy light consistency, you are ready to apply., But before doing so make sure that you have protected your clothing and obviously your skin.. I know I ruined a lot of my parent's towels and a lot of my favorite old t-shirts.. So always remember to use bleach, safe towels and what bleach safe towels do is, if they're a dark, color dark. You know, won't show up on this and if you put bleach on it they won't go light, so they basically stay the same color.. So I'm going to put this over my shoulder while I'm working on this area., Even though I'm not going to be applying any color to my actual ends. If anything does drip, it will drip on the towel.. So then, the other thing you need is this rat tail comb, and this is for sectioning and separating the hair., So the secret to getting a very smooth, balayage and kind of where you have like parts where they kind of dip down darker and the blonde. That comes up a little bit higher, but without having like a straight across line. When you don't want it to be in a straight across line, you obviously need to be going vertical and that's what creates that high and low kind of effect.. So I like to start with the hair just parted down the middle. That'S obviously what you're going to see first., So it's kind of the first impression of the hair. So you want to get that obviously perfect.. What I like to do is take some color and just go down that center part all the way back and separate it going down the back as well. And imagine as you're coming down. You don't want it to be in a complete straight line. Like I said, this is just to get it -- kind of the center part completely saturated.. Then I would kind of bring this part back and do the hairline. Do the same thing to this side.. All right so once you've gotten all this para -- parameters done, you are going to go back in and create the balayage softness all the way through.. So I'm going to take my first section. So imagine kind of this is my first kind of blonde highlight. And then we are going to bring that root down.. Obviously I already have a bit of a root, because this is not the first time I've done this balayage effect to it, but for you that are starting off completely blonde. You will be blonde obviously to about the root. So you want to do that from the root coming down. And, as you can see, I'm kind of working at an angle. You kind of want to do that, just to create a little bit more randomness and softness for when the hair does lay down.. You don't want to see actual vertical lines going, down. Again, starting at the root and just bringing it forward., And for this part this is where you would bring it down. As far as you want, your kind of sombre and balayage effect to go up to.. So, basically covering as much blonde as you want.. So, as I'm reaching more at the back of the head, I'm coming --, I am starting to come down lower and lower, because that's kind of the effect you want to do the blonde in the back needs to start much lower than it does in the front. And then take the next section. And so you're just working your way, all the way to the back and because you've already done the perimeter, you're, basically bringing everything forward and covering from the base coming forward and that's how you get the back without actually working in The back of your head., I know I get that question all the time ,''. How do I get the back of my head ?'' And because you don't have eyes in the back of your head, you obviously need to bring everything forward.. It'S the same way as when you do a haircut on yourself.. It'S impossible to you, know comb, the hair back and cut from the back. You have to bring everything forward, so it's at you know in your sight and you can do it from the front.. So basically, this is my last section that I have for more it parts kind of in the middle in the back.. So I'm basically done with my whole left side. And again this backside, I'm coming down a bit lower. And then, as you can see, all --. You have all your like five, seven sections that you've done and that's okay to come and kind of just blend everything out and that's what gives you that very soft balayaged and sombre effect.. So you can kind of just brush all of that through. And if you touch the back, your head, you have a complete, completely saturated in the back from about your ears. Up is completely saturated.. Now, moving on to the other side. And again as I near the back, I am coming down a bit. Lower., Okay and I've grabbed my last section on this side and brought it completely forward again to ensure that the back is completely covered and done.. So -- and as I will now show you the back and show you that the back is completely saturated. All right.. So then you let this process for 20 minutes and then shampoo and condition like normal and you will be left with the most beautiful soft balayaged. Effect. All right guys, so this is the result for my soft balayage root tutorial super easy to follow.. I'Ve went ahead and shampooed and conditioned my hair and blowed it out, and this is the result.. So, as you can see no straight across lines very blended and as you can see ..., So let me show you all: around. Hair feels silky, obviously no bleach on the hair. That makes a huge difference and that's obviously the detox that I'm doing to my hair for this winter season.. So don't forget to check out my description box.. I have linked all products, all hair products, hair tools, everything that I've used in this tutorial, so go ahead and check that.. Please give this a thumbs up if you liked this found this helpful.. ellebangs: Guys, I'm now offering Virtual Consultations to help with all your hair questions and color formulations - To learn more, go to ellebangs.com/consultations

Bubblekittea: I would loove to see a new version of this tutorial! I bet a lot of us in lockdown are considering going from bleached blonde to a softer colour now!

Adela Turbett: From hairdresser to hairdresser... you rock girl!!!!!!! I am the same open minded as you when it comes to doing your own hair at home, if clients are going to do their hair no matter what, mind as well educate them on how to do it properly, because lets be real here, salon prices are not the most affordable for everybody and a lot of people have different priorities. Always great videos, keep em' coming!

Megan Johnson: I can't thank you enough for this simple, yet thorough tutorial! I have been dying, bleaching and highlighting my own hair for almost 25yrs and this is by far the greatest technique!!! I love the ombré look, but was baffled how to do so to my blonde-colored hair with my dark brown roots. A friend suggested I try balayage and I found your tutorial (so glad)! I purchased the products from Sally's and did the "procedure" last night...I'm in love w my hair now!!! Not only was it simple and super fast but it has added depth and dimension to my boring blonde hair. Again, I can't thank u enough and I will recommend this tutorial to all of my friends!!!

Cory Rausch: This technique worked beautifully on my hair! I dyed my hair all over blonde; but the roots were too brassy for my liking (even after toner). I used a light brown drug store dye and absolutely LOVE the results. It was very easy to do and this video is great. Thanks so much! I think this is the first time I've dyed my hair and actually LOVED the results!

Dawn schlette: This is my second time following this hair tutorial and I must say my hair came out beautiful! Thank you so much for this wonderful tutorial

Yanina Ondereva: Since this video came out, I have done this on my hair 4 times. Every time it’s over-highlighted and my roots don’t blend as well anymore, I know it’s time to do this! And now in quarantine, it’s time to go for the more natural look ☺️

Kamie Jeffery Zamora: I had platinum blonde hair with light brown roots- this was amazing!! I can't believe I did this myself. Thank you!

Rachel Smith: So glad I found this video! I've been hit or miss on doing my own hair since I was about 12, but this was so quick and foolproof! I'm growing out my platinum blonde and this made the process so much less painful - and much prettier! :)

Aldijana Joffe: These tutorials, I keep coming back to them. Incredibly clear, smart and the only ones I trust if I'm going to do something myself. So just wanted to drop a thank you Sylvia for sharing with us your knowledge and 100% class!

Leah Rose: I love this tutorial and keep coming back to it. I've done this twice already and it turned out amazing both times. This time I hand painted some lighter pieces at my ends for an even more balayage-y look. I received so many compliments!

Sam Moore: Thank you sooooo much for this video! I have been wanting to try this every time I go blonde and wanted my roots dark but have been so nervous and I finally took the plunge after my roots turned orange and it worked like a charm! It toned down the orange and looks like I have lowlights. You're amazing! Btw for anyone wondering, yes, this is as easy as it looks! Took me 10 minutes max to put it in my hair.

Gena 17: Literally just did this to my hair 30 mins ago, I am so happy I used the technique u showed here. I am so happy with the results!!!!

sapphire: I tried this technique on my level 8 hair and I'm in love!! Thank you so much, Sylvia! I LOVE my new look xoxo

Rachel Tull: I’ve saved this video because I’ve followed it four times now. This the first time I’ve truly loved my color and there’s so much less damage than o normally get. Thank you thank you thank you for sharing your knowledge and teaching such a great technique!

luellaeleganza: I did this and it looks amazing! Thank you so much! Its really toned down my bleach blonde and made me look like a natural blonde. I love how I'm still blonde and not brunette as it was really important for me to stay blonde :) thank you!!!

Tamara Mihajlovic: Amazing tutorial! Easy to follow and the results are stunning! Thank you!

Sophie Kristiansen: This is so good! Thank you! As a perfectionist, even I feel confident that I can do this to myself at home. Thank you!!!

Kacey Smith: This is AMAZING! ❤️ Was so much easier than the technique I have used before and turned out perfect. Thank you!!

Sheila Berkenstock: Can't wait to try this today! As a retired stylist I don't keep up on the new applications like I should, and this is going to save me tons at the salon paying someone else what I can do at home! Elle you are amazing! Love that you take the time to make these types of videos :) XOXO

Deborah Grace Dabuet: Thank you sooooooo much!!!! I just did this to my hair a few minutes ago, and even if it's not yet dry, I already love it!!! I had a weird and patchy root line and decided to try it. My application was a bit messy too but it turned out fine. I added a step though, after going through all your instructions, I went ahead and combed my hair (dragging the dye to the ends). And that for me really helped smudge and even out any line. I did that 10 mins before I rinsed. Thank you, thank you!

Cynthia Hamil: You make this look really EASY! I haven't been this brave yet - I have always just tired a box color - or pulled the hair through a cap for highlights. This is gorgeous! I love how it turned out on you! I'll have to gather the courage to try this! This is AWESOME! Thank you!!!

Let's Not Panic: I know that this is 2 years old, but I just spent 3 days reviewing every imaginable youtube video for how to get this effect, and I keep coming back to this one because it's so easy to understand, and doesn't seem at all overwhelming. I'm going to do this this week - except I'm using ash tone on my ash blonde hair, so I hope that works out. I'll try to remember to tag you on instagram <3

riverrockhunter1211: Just got done following your tutorial! Can't wait to see the outcome! Thanks so much for taking the time to do these videos!

Eleanor CM: I did this to my very long hair with grown-out roots last night. I brought it down a little further than in the video and it turned out great - thank you!

Yasmine Khan: Thank you so much for this video! I followed your tips and my hair looks so amazing, from cheap looking blonde to glam. I will def be supporting your channel.

Beatrix Kiddo: Thank you so much! So helpful to spend my time during quarantine and to have a beautiful and easy balayage!

Angela Hickman: Great tutorial @ellebangs! I just did this and painted in some lowlights to get an overall darker color for fall. Love it! ❤️

Tennille Jae: Thank you so much Silvia for this DIY, it worked perfectly on my hair and wasn’t hard to do when you follow your thorough instructions. Your channel has been a god send

Alisa Maria: Worked perfectly!! Exactly what I wanted and super easy to do! My hair needs a break from the bleach. It feels healthier already. Thank you :) Wish I took a before picture.

Kelly Humphries: This saved me thank you so much! I had blonde hair and tried to retouch the roots myself, it was a HUGE fail! So this was super easy to do and now my hair looks good again!

Taurus Girl: Thank you! Excellent video! I literally followed step by step and did my hair exactly as you showed and my hair turned out beautifully Please keep making your videos! You’re awesome ✌️

Linda Gerken: Your tutorial saved my hair!!! So easy and turned out perfect Love it Thanks soo much! !

Albita: I just did this. It was so easy and it's looks great Thank you for this tutorial!

Mari Harmon: Hey girl, absolutely love your videos. You've helped me out so much!! Thank you xoxo

Cc Cc: Wow, wow wow! I just tried this look on my pale bleached blonde hair, and it looks absolutely incredible!! You are amazing It looks better than any color I have ever had. I will never go to the salon again! ❤️

cat h: This really works every time for me when I have made my hair too blonde right up to the roots and it looks too block. I have followed Elle's tutorial twice now, and it always looks lovely. I get compliments from people who say it looks better. So to all you naysayers who are clearly insecure hairdressers who hate someone from your profession teaching us novices these easy techniques which saves us a fortune, and works, just go away.....She has also taught me to trim my hair at home successfully! Thank-you Elle x

Mackenzie Brunson: This worked perfect. I used 6N because my hair tends to lift to red regardless, and I'm glad I did. Applied a toner to my ends after the first process to remove some of the brassy tones in my highlights. I can now make my highlights last longer than 6-8 weeks and my pocketbook likes that. Thank you so much!!!!

Shaina Merry: This helped so much thank you ! I'm in love with the results I was a bit skeptical about it at first.. but it turned out so nice! It looks natural and I couldn't be happier ☺️ great vid

Aymes Sorta: watched may 10th 2020!!! so helpful. did my roots and made my hair look refeshed again thanks for posting this 6 years ago so helpful during quarantine <3

Jessica Whitfield: I love this tutorial! Thank you! What do you do once the darker roots start growing out too much? Do you have a tutorial on that? I want to do this to my hair for fall, but I'm wondering what happens when all the brown starts growing out!

GeekGirl Finds: I just used this technique with wonderful results!!! Thanks for the video, it REALLY helped me out of a pretty bad "at home" hair disaster!!!

Liz Lopez: time and time again, every time I want to spruce up my color at home, I ALWAYS come back to this video! I feel safest and most confident using this method and love my color every time when I'm done. Super simple and well explained. You the best, thanks Ellebangs! I have that song stuck in my head for dayzzz every time too, lol.

amanda rawnsley: You have saved my hair at least 6 times now! I went to the same salon for years and have extremely thick hair(girls in high school actually made me feel terrible about it calling it awkwardly thick which at the time I didn't understand was jealousy) Anyways, I've never really had to deal with breakage because there's always more where that came from but the last time I went to the salon I've been going to for years to get a bit of a balayage to break up my very light blonde hair the stylist broke off a ton of my hair, charged me double for"having too much hair" and failed to let me in on all the breakage, rushing me out in a hurry. I would be screwed if it weren't for having "too much hair", and after this experience I'm terrified of having anyone else touch my head! I've used your technique 3 times now and the results NEVER disappoint! Thank you, thank you, thank you!!! I'm about to do it again and will definitely tag you on Instagram with the results! You are the Mother Theresa of hair follicles woman!!!!

Cat Franco: I tried this today and my hair came out gorgeoussss. Thank you this was a super helpful video ❤️

Jenny Arthur: This has been a life saver for me doing my hair at home! I love it! I can’t afford to go to the stylist and you rock!

breezi: Are you kidding me! I have been doing hair professionally for 11 years and this video is AWESOME! I just did it to my own hair a few minutes ago and I am now leaving my first youtube comment ever because I am amazed. The technique looks like it will not work at all and I was scared to death while it processed, but seriously WOW. It turned out perfect. I also added a shadowbox (dark underneath to the nape of the neck) and it looks great. It does not give an ombre look, It is totally sombre or balayage. My application even looked a little more sloppy than yours and it still worked perfectly. No spots or weird parts and you can totally do it in like 15 minutes. I mixed some 7A and 7N with 8N (more of the 7s) Aloxxi 10 vol. (if you want to match a dirty blonde root). Thank you sooooo much for making this video. I have been trying to find a good technique and I am very impressed.

Melissa Horton: Tried this and it worked perfectly!!! Thanks for sharing this technique - absolutely love the results!

Sub Blonde: OMG so glad i watched this i was about to do this to myself in a totally different way...this is perfect and so much easier!! ugh thank you Silvia!

D F: Thank you for this! My hair looks so much better and it only cost a few bucks for the dye. You are truly doing a public service!

Becca Napier: This technique worked beautifully!! Thank you so much for this tutorial!! I was a bit worried at first because I was a lot messier than she was but it turned out great!

Florabelle Rosario: This worked soo well, and it was fast and easy to do. Thank you soo much!

RedRyder: Thank You so much for this video! I did this today and it came out Great!!!!! Thanks for all the hard work and time you put into these videos!

Amy T: I followed this tutorial and my hair turned out perfect!!! I'm sooo happy with the results!!!!!

Stevie Jewel: Watched this, followed exactly and my hair turned out amazing. Thank you!

Augusta A: I just tried your technique using color charm 4N (because I like the dark contrast) and it turned out amazing! Thanks so much for sharing your vertical sectioning technique. The end result was a beautifully blended long shadow root with blonde ends.

FlopsyGuitarBunny: I just tried this today. My bleached hair is between an 8 and 9 level. I mixed 50/50 of 7.1 and 7.3 with 10 vol and got the most perfect shadow root I was after. Thank you so much, I would never have imagined I could have achieved this myself.

Sarah: Omg THANK YOU for this video. Was searching for diy lowlights for my ridiculously outgrown bleached hair from quarantine. This is going to be easier and I am SO EXCITED thank you girl!

Jennifer Leone-Rich: WOW, WOW, WOW!!! Thank you SO much... your technique just took my hair from a cheap one-dimensional bottle blonde to multi-dimensional color I look like I paid hundreds for! I had a moment there where I was sure it was all going to go sideways... but, AMAZING result! I started at 9AV with 1/2 inch new growth and natural level 7 base. I used 7N for this. For all those asking about side parts - YES, you can part down the middle for application and it'll still work out perfectly. Looks great with straight hair, too. And because this was my first time application, I did the hairline all around my head and applied color all the way to my nape in the same progressively lower sweeping technique. I also used a feather brush I picked up from Sally's for better blending results vs hard bristles you would normally use for root touch ups. I know others mentioned this, too - I would LOVE to see an easy technique like this for adding in DIY highlights!

Aimee Lorenzo: Hello Just wanted to say.... THANK YOU! I followed your instructions and my hair turned out PERFECT. You are a sweatheart for sharing your professional knowledge with us DY girls. Thanks so much love your videos. You are a class act.

breezeelifeguard: Omg saved my hair yet again!! It's like magic!! Always want my hair ash blonde but always end up with hot spots even after toning this saves my hair every time!!! Thanks girl!! You are da bomb!!

Magdalena Zubko: It works! I've done this on my long and very thick hair and looks really great! Thank you!

Iris Stacey: Thank you for the great instructions. I've just tried this out and it worked beautifully. Your suggestion of the diagonal parts when applying the colour worked so well. Thanks again

MEGAN HOFFMAN: I just followed this on my slightly grown out dirty blonde hair, I'm so pleased with the gentle transition from the darker roots to the blonde. Thank you thank you

Ady Gisel: You are a hair Goddess!! OMG I'm so excited to try this out on my hair!! Been wanting this look for ever now !

Sista Tade-jah: Just tried this technique and it came out great! Thank you so much for posting this video. It was a great help.

Rosanna King: Absolutely GORGEOUS!!! I'm trying this! Going to follow your exact steps with a 7n. I'm so excited and nervous!!! Thanks so much for this tutorial!!!

Nicky Bee: You’re seriously like the prettiest girl in the world! I love your videos, they’re extremely helpful- even for someone like me who went to beauty school (like 10 years ago!) it helps to refresh my memory and there are so many new trends now to keep up to date with :)! Thanks Elle! ❤️❤️❤️

Haylee Rae Briggs: This literally saved my life. Last night I thought my beauty school skills could help me brighten my blonde with bleach since toning wasn’t working. I went to bed with an orange scalp. This morning I woke up and fixed it, with the watch of this video. It’s beautiful. And have my birthday dinner tonight. Ugh. Life savor.

MySunnygirl: Thank you!! I have just finished doing this to my 10 ash hair and roots.. I used 7 medium blonde and a little medium golden blonde 20 vol and it looks so natural exactly what I was after.. Next time I will do a few low lights. For everyone else if you follow this neatly and get the right color you can't go wrong.. Cheers!! xo

Megan McCormick: This turned out perfectly! Thank you so much for sharing!

K A Y L E B R O S S G A S P I: Seriously worked a treat! After being my second time doing balayage (I ruined my hair the first time, dark hair through my blonde, all patchy! ) I was so scared to try it again but SUCCESS! Thanks so much!

Laura Urban: Thank you soooooo much. I did this technique on my hair today and it looks gorgeous! I'm nearly 60 but now look 40 at best. Very professional look at home. You are amazing!

Va'nek L: I used this technique last night and LOVE the results! I had little faith that I would be able to make it turn out right, but it was pretty fool proof! My grown out mousey roots were bringing me down, but my hair looks great now. THANK YOU!!!!!

OnlyYouCanBeYou: Thanks for sharing this, I can't wait to do this to my hair. can you keep us updated on the process of your touch ups as your hair grows and a tutorial on how to bring your hair back to blond when you finally decide to change it back? Thanks ♡

Somaly Thai: I had hot roots after leaving a salon which I will never go back to. & I just followed her directions in the exact steps and I can finally go out in public without a hat!! THANK YOU SO MUCH. You saved my hair!!

Eirini Papadopoulou: I followed this using a mix of a 6 (light brown) and an ashy 7 (dark blonde) with a 1:1 ratio. It came out perfect! I admit I'm horrible at sectioning off my hair and especially when the dye makes some of the strands stick together it becomes a mess. But this was not very hard and I did it all by myself this time. I got the perfect dark blonde color that's not too dark and I went from bleached blonde to a more natural and refreshed look...

Kamesia Nichols: This was so easy! I have never done this before and I love my hair it is prefect .. love it !!

Daree Johnson: Best tutorial /diy on YouTube! I lightened my hair for the first time ever. It was too much of a change so I decided to do this. Worked perfect! The while time I thought I was screwing it up, but no it came out perfect!

ablehaviland: I love it...super easy to follow! Thanks❤️

Mirabai Johnson: Omg i used this technique and it turned out AMAZING! I’ve been trying to get this result and ruining my hair for a year now... thank you girl you saved me! I used 6a because I prefer more of an ash and washed it with the purple correcting shampoo for my brassy blonde. I couldn’t have asked for better results!

Diana Moreno: You should do a new version of this tutorial!

Anonamoose: I can't express how grateful I am for you sharing this technique! It works a dream! I have zero hairdressing experience or skill but I thought I'd risk it and try this anyway...OMG it looks incredible, like a soft, expert balayage. I was bricking it whilst I was waiting for the dye to take because it looked uneven but it turned out like a professional job. Literally took 20mins! I will always do this from now on with my hair, thank you!

Ellen Abney: You’re a miracle worker! Thank you so much! My quarantine hair is saved! Haha I didn’t think I could do this but your video laid it out so exact.

Bethany A: This tutorial was super helpful and my results are great! At the time of application my blonde was an 8G, but the centimeter of roots were extremely dark (asian hair). I used a 7G permanent color cream with a 30 developer mixed with a little 10 developer since I didn't have a 20. This created a nice light brown for the dark part of the contrast at the roots. After I did the application of the various sections diagonally I used a very wide toothed comb (do not use a fine toothed comb) to comb through my hair to soften and blend the color and then I let sit for about 20 minutes. The part that was already blonde took some of the color but not like I had feared when originally watching this tutorial. I think the combing was really important because it made sure there were no clumps of dye and everything just blended so nicely. I had one little mishap where I must have dripped a small bit of color on a part I wanted to leave alone, but it was close enough to the roots where I just added color after and it blended in fine - so be careful not to drip when applying. Otherwise this was fast, easy, and great results!!!

D Truong: I was really starting to doubt myself halfway through but it turned out amazing thanks to your video ❤️❤️❤️

Stephanie Prichard: Omg I just did this baylayage technique to my platinum blonde hair and I am in love with it!!!! this was so simple and so easy even I wasn't able to mess it up and I have messed my hair up soooo many times. Thanks for majing this video so simple and easy! You saved me $300.00 the box dye I used cost $2.00 and it looks great!

Andrea Koenig: Greetings to you from Cologne, Germany, and thank you so much for your professional and easy to follow hair tutorials. My daughter and I absolutely love them! You are such a beautiful and unpretentious person. Please keep going, Andrea + Rebekka

Aryel Muse: Love, love, love this technique. Works for me every time, thank you for sharing!!! :)

Mouse Bones: I've been looking for something just like this. I'm naturally dark brown and am currently a beautiful soft strawberry blond and my roots are so dark. This should help with growing it out so much without loosing the bits of blond I'm loving.

KC Wheeler: I just did this technique yesterday and am beyond amazed with the results!! My hair is a darker shade of blonde all over so I purchased a 6G color to match my roots (and cover the gray). I didn't quite understand how it was going to work and not just cover my entire head from the top down with dark, but I dove in and went for it. Well it turned out amazing! It now looks like my lighter blonde was highlighted in and there are no harsh lines! Plus no more gray!! I still can't quite wrap my head around how the lighter color didn't get covered completely from my ears up (my big fear...that and picking a color that might be too dark), but the angle and application technique seems to leave the under sides (which are actually the top layers) uncolored and it ends up blending so nicely. This was my first time ever coloring at home and although I was in a bit of a panic, the results are fantastic! I can't believe how much time and money I saved and got exactly what I wanted! How many times I've been to the salon and shown them what I want, with my main focus being those pesky, unruly grays along my ears, only to leave with highlights and still crazy grays? Never again! Thanks so much for posting this video!! :)

G. G: you know she is good when her top remained white and spotless LOL, everytime I color my hair I need to clean even the walls =(

Natalia Botti: This has been the best tutorial EVER!!! I've been dying my roots only now to cover my greys -  my hair is a 4A and my tips more like a 4N, but the result comes out super natural!!!  Every time I go to the salon they ask me where I'm getting my hair done.  I think your video needs to be a requirement for licensing. Your technique is perfect!

Starr Miller: Used this technique with chocolate brown and platinum! Perfect! Thank you

beckbama: Awesome!! I've been dying to see how you did your hair in detail. I love your videos. Thank you for making these videos ❤
