Hey guys welcome back to my channel, my name is Silvia. If this is your first time here welcome and in today's video we're going to talk about how to fix overly toned, hair or hair, that's gone too purple from a purple shampoo. This is a very, very common mistake, and I get asked this all the time whether someone experimenting at home with toners or whether you know sometimes even my clients, when I recommend you know, stick to a purple shampoo at least once a week and then like a Day later, they're like texting, saying like oh, my god, my hair is purple like what do I do so I realized that this is a very common problem, so I figured I would address it in a video and tell you what steps you can do from home To get rid of that and get back to your normal color also just quickly, I have been thinking about, doing YouTube, live videos, and for those of you that don't know what that is, is basically, I upload a video to YouTube and it's live and it doesn't Live on there very long, it's not edited. I think the hardest thing about uploading, a video it's the time it takes to edit and to prep. You know a video that you know like looks put together and like well polished for you guys, but I was thinking. There'S a lot more content and a lot more tips and information that I can give you guys if I could eliminate you know the whole editing process. Obviously I will continue to upload. You know like regular videos on my channel like I have I just can't. Do you know like edit more than one video a week right now, so you would have to be subscribed to my channel, because it is the only way that you will be notified of when there's like a live streaming kind of going on. If you are interested in that do subscribe, and we will notify you of that soon also, if you have questions like the one of this video or anything else related to hair or you just want a place to talk about hair, you want a place to find Out about new fun, hair products, you have to go, follow my facebook, a chat page and I will leave the link in the description box down below and it's hair chat by Reese and it's just a place where a ton of hairdressers live on they're. Answering your questions, I will leave a link for that as well below, let's get into the video and learn how to fix over toned hair. So there's four things you can do to remove excess toner from your hair. The first two are pretty mild for the hair and are not for super extreme cases where your hair is literally lavender and then there's the other two that are for definitely more extreme cases. So the first and foremost thing is just using a clarifying shampoo. It'S the simplest thing. I absolutely think that about sixty percent of people who, with you know over toned hair, can fix this problem with just a clarifying shampoo. I know a lot of us. We like can panic and freak out and want to use just the more extreme version just to fix it right away, but normally a clarifying shampoo will do just the trick and the good news about toner is. It will always fade so you have not permanently ruined your hair. It will eventually fade what a clarifying shampoo does. Is it just helps that process go a lot faster? I would just suggest a very hydrating shampoo or mask following the clarifying shampoo, so say that still doesn't do the trick. I would, I would still try that maybe two maybe three times in a row and if you still are not saying you know like you're back to blonde or you know the color you had one it originally step. Two would be to chelate your hair. I don't want to go too in depth on it. I have a video on exactly how to do that. I will link that below and it's just how to chelate your hair at home and it's basically using Dawn dish, soap, lemon juice and shampooing that basically into your hair, rinsing that out and finishing with a hydrating mask. So what that does is that removes a lot more build-up and goes a little bit deeper than what a clarifying shampoo does go say. Your hair is still purple or whether you knew that your hair was way over tone from the beginning, and you skip steps one and two step three would be to do. A color remover, there's kits available online, there's kits available in drugstores, and now I do have to warn you that these do contain a small amount of like bleaching agents. So it is going to strip your hair a little bit, so you obviously have to outweigh the risks like is it sit like? Is the color you're living in so horrific that you would, you know, risk a little teeny bit of damage to get back to? You know your original color, that's kind of the gamble you have to take. It'S not going to be excessive damage. It'S not going to be like applying straight bleach to the hair, but just know that it is a little bit more invasive than chelating or using just a clarifying shampoo on your hair and then for the fourth step and the most extreme case of all. And this is not just for toning accidents or mistakes. This can absolutely be like the wrong color or you know like over processing of color or just any mistake with hair, color or toner not bleach. This will not fix any bleaching problems and that step would be to do a full bleach wash on the hair. And what that is is that is actual bleach on the hair. I would obviously suggest only ten-volume, and I would even mix that in with a little bit of shampoo apply it all over. The hair, make sure to saturate the hair all over evenly and literally wash the hair in within less than five minutes. And that should do the trick if it's a toner problem absolutely this will take care of it. If it doesn't take care of it, then it's not toner and there's something much deeper into the hair. Like I said absolutely, this is the most drastic step of all. I'M not saying hey, you don't really, like the tone of you, know your toner this time go ahead and apply bleach to your hair. Absolutely not like. I said this is for extreme cases only. I always like to give you options so that, hopefully you can fix it yourself at home, so there you have it very simple, just four steps pick. One of them obviously go ahead and pick the least invasive and the loose risky for your hair and kind of start there. If you're wondering which one to do first or like where to begin - and I really hope that if any of you guys are having this problem, I really hope that this helps. If this does, please leave your mini story down below and may we all have the most perfectly atoned hair anyway, if you guys still have some questions, don't hesitate to leave them down below. I always won if how I explained things if it's made any sense. So if you are so confused, please let me know - and I will be happy to answer that for you guys alright, so don't forget to check the description box for everything that I've mentioned earlier, that where I'm going to leave links for and as always I love You guys, and I will see you in the next video bye

Test1 \test2: 1. Clarifying shampoo 3 times in a row 2. Chilade your hair using dawn dish soap and lemon juice, and hydrate with hydrating mask 3. Colour remover 4. Full bleach wash with 10 volume mixed with shampoo

MsWhatzmyname: Start at 2:41 if you just want to hear the solutions and less chatting.

Brittney : Thank you so much! My hair was definitely over-toned and a tinge blue after using my toning conditioner. I rocked it for a day but I wanted to fix it when I got home, but it was late so I was worried I wouldn't have the chance. That dawn and lemon juice trick saved my hair -- it's back to blonde! I'm so relieved.

Witch in White 𓂀: I simply cannot count how many times your videos have answered all of my styling/bleaching/dying hair questions. You're very thorough and sincere with your information unlike most Youtubers and Salon Care Professionals I've come across. You are a hair guru (lol), plain and simple. Thank you so, so much for all of your tips and advice. When anyone asks where I learn from I always reference you and your channel. You are greatly appreciated, pls never change. xo c:

Katie Tippery: I tried the chelating option and it totally helped my hair!!! I had over toned silver hair and now I have my ideal honey blonde! Only after one time highly recommend!!

Erin Mack: Girl, I just LOOOOOOVE your videos. This one literally just saved me, because I can't rock silver hair at work. I'm off to go juice some lemons!

aka Constantine: Just got done bleaching/toning my hair (plat) and everything was great except my front bangs came out gray!! Thank goodness I watched this. I immediately shampooed only my bangs twice and bam, pure white (You may only need to shampoo once if your correction is mild)

Claudia Byatt: Thank you, you saved my purple streak in my platinum blonde hair <3

Kristen M.: YES to the live vids. As a survivor of "stylist" mishaps,I could use your advice!

Ashleigh Patten: I'm slightly obsessed with your channel right now. I can find an answer to pretty much any blonde hair question I come up with, and you talk in such a conversational style that it's easy to understand what you're explaining. Thanks for all the great videos!

Ellie Jae: This was a lifesaver! I used the dish soap method works really well took almost all the purple out with one wash, I'll probably do it twice because there is still a slight purple through the ends still

RedPilledWorld17: Thank you so much for all that you do!! Much appreciated ❤️

Angel Treats: I had my highlights done and was very happy with the result as the blonde suited me. I also had platinum blonde tape hair extensions and for the first time in a long time loved my hair. As I have a balyage I had to touch up my roots with a permanent colour and once I washed and blow dried my hair I was upset to see the root tint had toned my beautiful blonde hair to a dark blonde. I spent so much money on my hair and then ruined it. I would appreciate your suggestions.

keaton hira: would love a live video I know how hard it is to edit videos and the time it takes don't worry Sylvia I love you and your perfectly toned hair

Kelli Ottosen: Thank you so much!! My hair was so purple after toning and I watched your chelate video, totally worked!

Cactus Queen: I just wanted to let you know that I’ve just recently started watching your you tube channel, and I really appreciate everything you do. I’d really love to see you do more hair techniques on your channel, but maybe I’m missing those? But thanks so much, because I enjoy your attitude and personality!

Christina Spier: I love your makeup! And this was a very informative video

Jamie and Wesley: Thank you for making this video, I have searched how to fix over toned hair so many times and there isn't a lot of information about it out there. Being blonde is hard, now I'll know what to do next time!

cj alexander: You are amazing. Thanks for adding the photos, I knew by the photo i needed the bleach was, literally started to get the right color as soon as i applied it. :) with no damage. You are the best!

Mckenzie Schafer: Thank you once again! You're help is always deeply appreciated

KC S: Live videos would be great. Easier for you and allows your viewers to see more tips and tricks from ya! great idea.

Katie McCall: The dawn method with lemon works pretty well, as does using a shampoo for chelating chlorine and metals from hair. Tri Swim is the best one I’ve found. I have also had success using a 10 volume developer lotion all over for about 5 minutes (this is not powder bleach; it’s the lotion that you pair your color cream with when you die hair). Sally Beauty sells many brands. I wouldn’t go above 10 volume for this because it is a little drying. If you have 20 volume at home dilute 1/2 of it with water or conditioner. Hope this helps. I’m not a hairdresser but have a lot of experience with highlights, toner and High Lift Color. My preferred brand is Goldwell but for developer it’s not necessary to get any brand. Briogeo’s mask is the best one I’ve found—there is no silicone in it at all, so it’s not coating your hair. I do use some products with silicone but if I do they’re the water-soluble kind, not dimethicone.

Natalie gajewski: Thank you so much for the advice!! The hair chelating really worked at taking the grayish/green out of my hair!!

Teacher Ashley: Thanks for this video! It was so helpful. I went to Sally Beauty supply to get a clarifying shampoo and while there the lady who worked there also suggested the crystal clarifying treatment. It work immediately and I followed it with a clarifying shampoo. My hair looks great now! If it wasn't for your video I wouldn't have even sought it out. Keep up the good work!

Yasmeen Ahmad: I went platinum blonde four months ago and now have about two inches of new hair growth at my roots. I decided that I didn't mind the grown-in roots look and simply wanted to re-tone the rest of my hair which had taken on a slightly golden/yellow color. I used the Wella T-18 toner on all of my dyed hair but did get a bit of toner on my natural brown hair near the end of the process when I was making sure I got the most yellow parts of my hair which was right under my roots. After washing it all out, I ended up with purple hair and auburn roots! I quickly searched online for ways to remove toner and found this video which helped me remove the purple color from my hair using lemon and conditioner. Now my hair has the nice platinum blonde I was looking for, but my roots are still a bright auburn color (I think they even became more of a golden auburn with the lemon juice!). Is there any way I would be able to get back to my natural root color and remove the rest of the toner? I am willing to try anything!

donnie7777: I over toned my hair before more than once and have always used the green colored lemon Axion dish soap. I put it in my hair while dry, then add a little water and lather it up and repeat twice. Always works and definitely an inexpensive fix.

Ashley O.: It worked!!! You're amazing, I could cry from happiness right now. I have a full head of highlights that went way too bright, I used box color as toner. The box color turned my hair a dull gray. I chelated the next day and now I have my blonde hair back! Thank you so much. <3

Tamzin: I had a balayage done at the salon last week. It was too brassy but I was to afraid to say. I bought the Fanola no yellow shampoo and as the ends of my hair are more porous they took to the shampoo a little too well. The ends are a off silver/ grey and the rest is a honey blonde. I hope this video can fix it! ‍♀️

Melissa Ponce nn: Thank you much I overtoned my hair and I did this and It works amazing

ASMR EllieGirl: 100% worked for my over toned purple hair!! Thaaaaaaank you a million!!

Lauren Keller: Thanks for making this video, and explaining what treatments are best for each issue. Makes me grab for head and shoulders shampoo, and not the bleach bath. lol

sharon muller: thank you so much I am sitting here with a slight ashy -silver colour on the bottom 3 inches of my hair from toner and now I can get rid of it without bleaching yes!!!! xxxx

Steffi X: Thank you for the informative video. I used silver shampoo yesterday because my roots looked orange. Now they are still orange and the rest of my hair is grey/purple. Perfect timing !

Allison: This JUST happened to me! Perfect timing

Banskuu: Thank you! Exactly that I needed! I toned my too yellow hair and ended up with greyish blue toned. Felt bad and did some oil treatments and washes. It helped some but not enough. Normally I would just waited a week to see what happends but since I am leaving for a holiday in CA tomorrow, I needed to fix it. So I did fast bleach wash. If I had seen your video before I would have tried chelating. Stressfull week!! Oh god

Indiana Housewife: These tips helped tremendously! Thank you for sharing

Nina Filipovic: This worked! I went the bleach bath route with 10 VOL, shampoo, and IGORA lightener. Probably worked it in the hair for 2 minutes, let it sit for 3 more, rinsed and followed with Olaplex. I definitely felt my hair being stripped but it was such a deep purple it was the only way. I still have trace amounts of purple at the back (as in nape of the neck covered by “normal” hair), but it looks so much better than the purple and brassy mess I had half an hour ago.

Toy Johnson: The dawn and lemon juice definitely worked for my 613 hair I accidentally colored purple while trying to tone with my purple shampoo. Thank you!!!

jacqueline eve: hi! love your videos, watch them all for the most part! haha, i had magenta hair and i’ve had it before.. and last time i had it (couple years ago) i did color oops, and it took it right out and gave me back my nice dark blonde underneath. now a couple years later i have magenta again. and did the same thing with color oops, except this time it turned me hair s medium purple/grayish. was wondering what the best way to go about this would be. without dying darker possibly? any suggestions?

Serena Diane: So I've been dying my hair silver for almost a year now. I recently bleached my roots, but beneath my roots the bleach made my hair very platinum. I used a very mild toner that did not do much and it did not cause the purple I am experiencing. After the toner, I dried it and put the grey on. In the more platinum area it really sucked up the base purple of the grey. Do you think the clarifying shampoo is going to do the trick?

Laura Parmentier: So I have a huge problem. I normally bleach my hair to a 12 and when I recently toned my hair in a salon, I said that I was aiming for a Sandy/beige color, I guess they thought I meant desert sand since they used shades 8 GI on my hair which made my hair way darker obviously! That was over 2 weeks ago and I have been very patient, until today I was fed up with it, the color barely faded and it is almost christmas! So I did a bleach wash today on my hair. Still didn't got light enough since I turned orange and not yellow :( so purple shampoo wont help neither and I don't want to bleach wash it again right away since my hair is already kind of porous but I am getting really upset by all of this since I hate to walk around with orange hair. Especially with the holidays! I could really use your advice Sylvia :(

misaglow: Great advice! It worked Thanks!!

Mrs. Martin: Oh my God this has saved me right now in this moment when i got distracted with toner left on my clients extensions & girl it turned grey i was about to die after 3 processes to get this hair the color she wanted i get grey!!!! I panicked but thank GOD you shared the clarifying shampoo trick who would of thought! Thanks a million i owe you a million!!!

Lilia: Hello Silvia, how do you fix bleach stained hair towards the roots? (The bleach swell after applying) Ps: Love your videos/work

Paige George: Does anyone know how long it may take for the stain to fade?❤️

honesty at its finest: Omg thank you so much!!! I used a matrix 5 minute anti yellow toner and it covered all of my high lights. I was so upset! I saw your video and purchased a clarifying shampoo and washed 3 times. And now my high lights are back!!!! Thank you!!!

Kimberley Wood: I am dark haired. I put a purple semi permanent colour in my hair to a achieve a beautiful violet shade, which was only supposed to last for 15 washes. Well, it lasted much longer than that. It eventually faded to a dark blue so I used a colour remover which got most of it out but I still had a few blue streaks left. I put a neutral colour over the top (5/0 medium brown) and that improved my hair by covering the orange left from the colour remover, but the areas that were dark blue, look ashy and overtoned. I used head and shoulders anti dandruff shampoo, which did get more of the left behind blue/purple out (the suds in the shampoo turned purple). Whether or not this is the right way, I will continue with this method for as long as I can to fade as much of the blue/purple out as I can. I do not want to resort to any form of bleaching methods if I can avoid it.

Truth 2027: So helpful!! Thank you :)

Carolina Flores: My hair is currently a lilac with my roots slightly brassy It looks “weird” not what I was expecting even tho I get compliments I’m not a big fan. I was toning my hair with just the shampoo and damp hair and left it for too long Thankfully I saw your video.. Omw to buy dawn, lemon and some hair mask.

Mar Fenske: As a broke graduate student, your videos have really played an important role in helping me feel good about myself and the way I look. My question is, can I re-tone my hair after the chelate process or will my hair fall out? The chelate helped remove the purple, but now I’m back to the brassy yellowish bleach color. Thank you for getting me through some tough times.

1sweetmess: Thank goodness I found you!!! This happened to me with a toner. Had an emergency happen and had a toner on for about twice as long as I should have.. lol I really do like the result, but thought wow! I wonder what its supposed to look like minus the overtone.

Sabrina Stovall: What a great video I needed this In my life !!!

Stephanie C: Would asking my stylist to over tone my hair make any sense? I like the pastel/lavender look, and I think it would be cool if it faded back to icy blond eventually. Would it fade patchy? Would I be better off just asking for lavender? My hair usually gets toned to the regular icy blond, then fades to brassy obviously. It would be cool to have lavender hair that fades icy because I like both of those colours. ❤️

Heather A Riggins: Great video! Thank you!❤️

Janese Hornsby: Hello! Thank you for this video. I asked for blonde at the salon an left with a purple color. I have been non stop crying because this is what I did for myself for Christmas and it’s completely different than I expected

Leslie Elaine: I love your videos! I have an issue i need an objective opinion on: I asked a stylist to do balayage, she gave me an ombe over my platinum by painting my roots and a bit further with dark brunette (I'm medium auburn with gray). I figured I'd show her a pic next time of a balayage winter blonde and ask for a few lowlights. She painted my under part completely brunette and gave me dark brown and platinum streaks like Kate goslin 2007. I couldn't wear my glasses while this was done and i thought I walked out with ash blonde hair. This is the first, and most harrowing hair story I have! I went to the fanciest local salon and the guy bleached it out and toned it. I asked why it wasn't being striped it, but I walked out finally feeling great! Now, it's re oxidized and a weird orange and I want all this junk out of my hair so I don't have to worry about paying hundreds every couple weeks and still having chipmunk hair later! Please send some tips. Haters don't hate. This is honestly upsetting.

ERIN: After my mom over toned her hair last night while dying it. She was so upset that I felt bad and I went to the internet to find a solution. I stumbled upon this video and we tried it this morning. I can say for sure 100% this works!!! Her hair is golden blonde again and she is so happy. Thank you for sharing this information with us. It was so helpful!

Ma Jolie: I went to a new hair stylist yesterday. She said she just started working at the salon and was suuuuper sweet. I got balayage, and I have had my hair balayage the same for 5 years all with different stylists because I move around a lot. I have never had an issue before with what I ask for. However, I noticed that she left a toner in my head for wayyy longer than the other stylists have in the past and I was concerned but went with it because she is the specialist. When she revealed my hair, it was pretty orangey but I still was okay with it and smiled and told her thank you because I'm not confrontational and she was nice. But I just washed my hair today and realized that my hair is extremely stretchy and breaking, even the natural hair that she didn't dye. Would the toner they use at the salon be the same as the toner you're talking about that people use at home? Or is it stronger? I'm so confused on what went wrong, my hair was down to my waist and super healthy and now it's stretchy and feels stringy when wet, I can't stop crying about it lol will all these tips work still? I'm willing to do anything

drlooneychick: WHEN I TELL YOU YOU SAVED ME!!! You really really did Thank you so much!!!!

N1nj4cat: Hi! I love your videos! I have some questions... I misjudged a new toner and overtoned my hair and now it looks like the last picture (grey/lavender)... I dont want to damage my hair any further with lightening products, will clarifying shampoo eventually lighten it back to platinum? And will any of these methods compromise the olaplex in my hair that was used with the bleach? Thanks so much!

Hanna Karlsson: Hi Silvia! Thxs for all great videos. Keep up the good work! Love your peachy eyeshadow in this video, can you please tell which shades you use :-)

ridhonna: I used Micellar shower gel by simple, worked so good! Just a good hairmask after

Dunn with Kait: so helpful I never even heard of chelating but I’m gonna try it. thanks for the video!

Rebecca Louise: Was so happy with this video, iv just put a toner on tonight and it went blue/purple so I ran down to the 24hr supermarket and got heads and shoulders shampoo and 3 lemons mixed them together and left it on for 10 minutes and IT CAME STRAIGHT OUT!! Don’t know if it was the conditioner I used or the lemons but my hair as never felt so soft

ashley millan: I like how you had 4 different options, helpful! :)

Jericho Davis: This is so helpful Elle! Just subscribed :)

supernatt924: Ah I needed this so badly 3 months ago after a Wella T-18 disaster!

Aliee Lovee: In your CHELATE HAIR video, The steps are 1. Dawn Soap 2. Lemon & 3. Hydrating Hair Mask. So, for the Toning Shampoo Treatment for Blondies, Do we skip the Hydrating Hair Mask, OR Do we add the Hair Mask before the Purple Shampoo(right after the Lemon is washed out) or AFTER the Purple Conditioner? What Mask Would You Recommend?… I know Naissant has a Treatment, is it recommended/ fine to use for the Toning Shampoo Treatment specifically & Overall? & for Chelate should I do this before bleaching my hair & if yes, should I do this to my extensions before bleaching or before a hair treatment/mask? ** I know chelating is like 3-4 years ago lol I am so behind on these hair trends haha. But, I think your great & so knowledgeable you make hair & everything about hair sound cultured, educated & cultivated! Keep it up! <3

Keeshia Komisar: I couldve used this video a while ago.. I went to the salon for silver hair and left with blue hair! And yes, my hair lifted to platinum before the tone.

Erin LeFevers: I had bleached my hair at home and it was a little yellow, so my brother's girlfriend(who is a licensed hairdresser) offered to tone it to get the yellow out. Now it looks purple :-( Gonna try your advice to remove it. Thank you!

Miriama13: Thank you Did the fourth step on my son using 20 vol as that's all I had massaged it in for 2 mins and he wash it out.. Perfect Happy Son again..and nice hair

Katy Drew: Thanks!! Your videos are soooo helpful and save me a small fortune! $$$$

SuperNae27: Thank you, very helpful x

Jacqueline Fournier: This is exactly what I need right now! Couldn't have come at a better time. I'm going to try some tomorrow. Thank you for the info! I'll let you know if it worked.

Norma Jean: Thank you for this hint . I’m a brunette and now that I was unable to put a t18 toner / ( couldn’t get my hands on it ) until now however prior to this I just put a blonde box on my hair then a few weeks later I toned it last night with T18 it’s very ashy looking . I don’t want white hair I just want the yellow blonde . Should I bleach it again and is their a color you recommend for toner by Wella charm .? Thanks it advance

TheIllusions73: A moroccan tip : use avocado as a hair mask for like 30 mns it will wash out the tints absorbed :)

alexandra: My hairdresser “toned” my hair and ow the color is uneven. Parts of my hair are yellowish and others are platinum blonde. The worse part is that the middle of my head/hair has a very noticeable platinum blonde streak going across my head. The bottom is a bit yellow and the top part is a very ugly yellow color. Scared to go anywhere else. It’s not the first time, nor even the fifth time someone has ruined my hair.

T S: You're by far my fav youtuber this far and I've been watching YouTube off/on for two years now. So excited about your YouTube live series!

Kimberley Wood: I overtoned my hair and it turned purple. I washed my hair with clarifying shampoo, which got the purple out, then it left blue in my hair. I used anti-dandruff shampoo and left it on for 30 minutes, which got more of the toner out, but now the overtoned areas have been left with a green tinge and I understand that green is the hardest colour to get out. I don’t want to have to do a bleach wash on my hair since it’s dry enough already and I will never touch colour removers since they stink and leave a horrible smell in the hair for days after using them. Any tips on how I can get the green out?

Heather Patterson: Sylvia, please help! I let my roots go for a few months so I had about 2 1/2 to 3 inches of growth (my hair is naturally a medium blonde). I've been bleaching my hair for 10 years (ashy, platinum) and this time the roots didn't lift enough so I put wella t18 on them and then blended throughout the length of my hair after about 20 minutes. It didn't do a thing for my roots so they are still yellow but the length of my hair is grey with streaks of lavender. How can I fix that?

Carole Matthews: It really does work, coloured my hair with a blonde 9 colour and it turned grey. Using dawn dish soap (well Fairy Liquid actually) lemon juice and conditioner its now lovely light blonde.

Beauty Is Skin Deep: Do you have a clarifying shampoo brand you can recommend?

Renee Banxx: OMG I love all of your videos! They are my GO-TO for all beauty hacks (especially hair). What do you think of ketchup for correcting overtones lavender/light blue hair?

Masonix_Angel_ Equinoxes: Thank you sweetheart. I think you've solved my problem

Erika Burke: In mixing the dawn and lemon, do we use it like shampoo or leave it on for a certain period of time before rinsing and do you apply it to dry or wet hair? My hair was made ash blonde, in an attempt to make it more beige and it looks nearly gray. Strongly dislike. Thanks:))

B S: Always my hero!! firsts time ever, pro - home hairstylist me,(lol) over toned my hair. Thanks now to see if your tricks work!

Liliana Mendoza: hi Silvia, I need your help, my hair is ice blonde but since I had it done last time I started to loose more hair than normal. I don't really wanna go back to dark. any advices? my hair was long,, almost all my length is gone....

Marisol Gonzales: You are awesome. Enjoy and learn a lot from your videos. Thank you so much.

Ava Robb: Omg this helped me so much I just did the first step a couple of times and my hair is back to normal

Andrea Acker: Thank you! I typically use Kenra's brightening treatment and my hair is beautiful afterwards. But my hair is also ridiculously thick and I have to use a lot of it. So I thought I would try brass off by Matrix. It's a shampoo instead of a masque so I thought maybe I would use less product. That part was true. Unfortunately I did not get the ash I wanted. I over did it about 1-2 inches from my scalp and didn't get my roots enough so it looks like a really bad home job weird purple and grey ombre. Oops. Did I want to call my hair dresser who is also my mom? Uh, no. So I found your channel instead. I have to go to work today (eek!) but will start with the clarifying shampoo tonight and go from there. Super helpful video and I don't have to get the "really, Andrea" from my ever so loving mother. And I will never stray from Kenra again.

Ninamour: What’s your favorite clarifying shampoo?

PL09: I had all over lightened hair (balayage + partial foils) but didn't like the obvious root growth when it started growing out. Went back to a salon and the stylist re-did the balayage and combed through a semi permanent from my roots down. I don't know if it was the toner she used after or what, but my hair is now all one shade of ashy light brown, despite our discussion of wanting beige tones, not ash. Not sure where to go from here. I spent $400 for hair that is literally the opposite of what the stylist and I discussed.

Michelle D Harris: I used fudge clean blonde on my hair to cover yellow tinge - the ends went purple and the roots were still yellow - so decided to try to bleach it further to get rid of the yellow and now the added problem of purple - but that didn't even get rid of the purple from the fudge! So I will try the chelate next .. or just have purple ends in my hair lol

Andy C: What type of clarifying shampoo do you recommend and hair mask that you can buy at like cvs or Walgreens ? I'm trying to remove silver toner from my bleached hair that did not turn out good.

Josiah Davis: Thanks, this really works!!!

Jovie Roldan: Would you be able to do a video on removing Demi permenant color (level 8 and up) from hair extensions? And how to properly care for after?
