Hey everyone welcome back to my channel in today's video. I have a solution for a very common brunette problem, so I get told all the time that I give a lot of suggestions and tips for blondes. But I do get plenty of brunette clients at the salon and I am constantly asked how to get rid of warm tones and even red tones from brown hair, and I've made many videos explaining how to remove frass from blonde hair. But obviously I've never really touched on the subject on how to remove really stubborn red tones from brown hair and until recently, the only way to fix that problem would be to correct it in a salon going darker or doing a correct, all kind of atoning. Slash semi-permanent color at the salon, but what I want to show you today is how you can achieve this at home with absolutely no skill, simply just a shampoo, so you guys have heard me speak about eastland, millions and millions of times. I also have before talked about the tinted, love enhancing color treatment, shampoo, and I showed you how to get these fun vibrant colors. By leaving these products and for a little bit longer, then you would use as a toning shampoo, but they now have a corrective toning. Shampoo for brunettes, which is this very, very exciting line, so they have the red neutralizer, which is the one I'm going to show you and talked about mostly today they have the light brown. So that's if you have very very light brown hair and you want to get rid of those kind of extreme reddish and orangie tones, but you still want it to be light. That'S what this one's for the dark brown - and this is for those of you that maybe went from blonde to brunette - and you know the color just keeps fading, and you want to keep that rich fullness of your color. So this will definitely add a ton of richness and a ton of color back to your hair and preventing it from fading. So the one I want to talk about today is the red neutralizer, and that's because this is what's going to help most brunettes 90 % of brunettes - that don't like the shade of would benefit from this one. Now I want to explain this isn't to change the level of your hair, so if I'm gon na make it lighter and it's not going to make it darker, sometimes toner can make it appear slightly darker or slightly lighter, but all it's doing it is staining it With the opposite, color that it needs in order to balance out the color, so here is the example I have for you guys today. So obviously this is the tone side. As you can see, it's still very multi-dimensional. It'S a very rich brunette, but it's very cool. So you can see when the light hits it. You definitely see brightness of it, but there's no warm tones and that's what this product is going to do. This is the before side and, as you can see, she is not a good example for this product because she has lots of blond and kind of light pieces in her hair. Now, obviously, if you with this light, I would probably go in with the light brown, but I wanted to show you just how much gold and oranjee and reddish tone cancelling this product has. So that's why I went in with the red and neutralizer. So, as you can see, even from the top, this color isn't in any way darker. It'S just removing all of those gold tones. So because this side has so many gold tones gold tones actually make your hair look really light and again doll head hair is never you know as good as human hair. It'S always been really treated really processed a lot of heat damaged to it. Like I said, the one I used on her is the red and neutralizer, and all I did was dampen the hair. A little bit apply the product generously to the hair and just lather through the hair, the beauty of it being a shampoo toner is that it's so easy to apply. It ensures that you evenly saturate the hair and really just coat every single strand with the same amount of product. I would leave it the first time, maybe three to four minutes or rinse it out. You can always do more, so the beauty with this, too, is, if you like that, color it's not going to go anywhere, because you can just use a little bit every time you shampoo your hair, just as a purple shampoo is to blonds it's a maintenance. That'S why they made it a shampoo, so it's not an added step, so I think the most exciting thing about a product like this is not like. Oh I do this color once it looks beautiful for a week and then it fades. The beauty with this is that you can continue to do it, and you doesn't even feel like an added step because you're going to be shampooing your hair anyway and, as you know, a salon is so good to us that you can get all of these products. At 50 % off also, if you want to end up trying other products, because they have amazing, hair, styling products, nap, shampoo and conditioner. If you end up buying three products, you get three for $ 15, which is an absolute crazy deal, because these are all salon. Quality products, alright guys! Thank you so much for watching if you haven't subscribed yet, please click that red button you'll just get notified a a new video that I've made and just to make sure that you don't miss out on any amazing hair tips like this one. Anyway, thank you so much for watching. I love you guys and I will see you in the next video bye.

ellebangs: the Products are now back in stock in all colors! Get it while it's hot - Here's 50% off - http://bit.ly/2hBfjgu

Milla Moos: The soft red neutralizer did absolute wonders for my hair, the trick is to get your hair damp and leave it on for like 25 mins rinse it and then deep condition, I have been trying to get the awful brassy red tones out of my hair for years and I honestly can’t believe this is the only thing that actually did something

Никол: @ellebangs first off, let me tell you how informative and descriptive your videos are. You really take the time out to explain in great detail about your topic and I feel that you do so in a way so you can completely connect to each viewer on an individual level instead of on a whole; every person is different. I did have a question though in regards to the eSalon brass banisher. I'm currently in the process of growing my hair out and I have a couple of inches of roots and approximately 18 inches of this beautiful honey color. When choosing the correct shade for the banisher, do i go for light brown shade? It's really closest to that and I don't want it to match my roots. Just want to tone the color i have. Thanks

Emily Germain: I put this on dry hair for the first use for 10 mins, it works amazing and I love how it looks it turns a nice sandy silver light brown

toastie624: Thank you for listening and giving advice to us brunettes!

Karra Varney: Your videos have saved my hair so many times and can't thank you enough for sharing your knowledge in a way that's understandable. Thank you so much.

Rogier Delfos: Thanks so much for this tip. I've used this toning toning shampoo for several weeks now, and indeed it works great. What I don't like is that I can't quickly wash my hair anymore, it instantly takes the effect away. Also, I leave it in for about an hour before I rinse it out so to get the desired results. And I have to use it once or twice per week in order for the effect to remain. This might have to do with that I wet my hair everyday in the shower, although I just wash my hair once per week. I guess if I wouldn't rinse my hair on a daily basis with water, it would last longer. Nevertheless it's a bit of a hassle. Is there anything more permanent, that I would have to use—for example—once per month?

Yulia Borsky: You saved my life now! Didn't know what to do with all that redish hair!! Thanks ALOT!! ❤️

All Lies BStrong: I LOVE that you get so much info in an efficient amount of time. Love It!

Cristina: I bought this and it took me from ronald mcdonald to gorgeous. It's amazing and i constantly fear they'll take it away. Amesome stuff!!!

Millennialmaiden: Hey Elle, thanks so much for this video! So helpful! I was wondering if you could do a video on how heat styling can thin your hair out. Also can you start to bald if you heat style your hair everyday?? Thanks Elle!

Autumn Chastain: I just ordered! I've been looking every where for something to fix my red toned brown hair and I'm even going to try the custom hair color! Thanks for sharing great hair color facts!

The Little Red Hen: Yay !!! Now I need a red head one ! So glad you are branching off just blonde

karenlynnmc: This worked for me! love it thanks so much!

a little ellarose: It works!! I used the one for light brunettes, my hair was actually more brassy orangish then red. But I wasn’t looking for anything that would make it darker or blonde! I just wanted the ashy light brown, this did the trick. I suggest leaving it in for longer then 3 minutes. I waited in the bath tub for 6 minutes and took it out because of my lack of patience

Jaide Strykr: Hello Elle! New subscriber here, and I'd like to say I really love your videos! From what I've seen, most of your color videos talk about natural hues. However, my hair is actually dyed blue, but it's very faded, and I would like to know how I should go back to my natural hue. It's brunette, if that makes a difference. My hair has all sorts of tones in it, and I was wondering if you know of any good products I could get on a budget? I've realized when I use any sort of soap of the same bluish color, it fades faster, but at the same time, I really want a more instant result. I'm sorry if you already have a video about this!

Heather And Anthony: Thank you for the informative video! I ordered the red neutralizer shampoo and hopefully it works! Fingers crossed. I'll keep you posted :) -Heather

Glamazon Jess: Hey Silvia, I was wondering what level you would consider that toned side? My natural color is almost exactly that level and tone. I am trying to get back to that. Thanks!

HipsterTrashRadio: i found my holy grail in removing brass on brown hair, i use manic panic dye!! color correcting. its cheap and amazing. use turquoise or a greenish blue for orangy red hair. mix a drop of the color into a white conditioner. very safe for hair and non damaging. its just conditioner with some color. mix it up and leave for 15 20 mins. the brass is all gone

Shannon Odell: Thank God I stumbled upon this video, I immediately went and ordered the soft red neutralizer. I’m so excited to see the results!

Irisandra Hernandez: i have this one. And i love it!!!!!❤

Natalie Marie: CAUTION: this video is just an advertisement, and a lot of people have stated that this product did not work.

Brandi Carver: You are so informative!! I absolutely love you!! Thank you so much for the info.. Happy Holidays

Jonas Manicus: When I want to do stuff with my hair, I always turn to you. I only believe in your words when it comes to hair. So much power you have! ;) Thanks for the discount, it came to use today. xoxo Jonas

Wendy Reid: This product is worth every penny. It has taken 4 applications before I started seeing a noticeable difference in my hair color. Less red everytime I use it. Thank you so much for this video. I don't look like raggedy Andy anymore.

Sevipants19: Excellent!! I have this problem. Thank you for this video!!

Karin Blount: I'm a natural brunette working on growing out my grays (about 15%). Have been using demi permanent & most recently, semi-permanent brown color to ease in the transition. My grays are pulling very orange. Is it safe to use this on my grays? Thanks

Viciouz Valentine: Hello! Im a new subscriber! Love your channel! I Had a question. I recently bleached my natural hair (dreadlocks) to blonde and I was interested in doing a shadow root ( mid-light brown at root and blonde ends that are close to the scalp. I wanted to do this all with bleach and no depositing color to keep it simple and cost effective. I figuered I could go into my black roots with a bleach and 15-20 volume developer in conditioner and apply it to my roots and get a nice brown. I know there is a high possibility of it coming out brassy. My question is will this shampoo stain my blonde ends? The ends of my hair are a pale yellow blonde that I will tone to ashier white blonde and use shimmer lights to keep the pale color. How would you recommend you tone blonde hair with brown roots that is completely done by bleach?

Kaleigh Jefferies: I thought this would've been a more helpful video that gave multiple diy suggestions but instead it's basically just an ad for a product you can't find locally

Carrie Young: Question for all the hairstylists out there.. I recently got Carmel/ golden light brown highlights on my dark hair. My natural hair color is dark ash brown.. my stylist warmed up my base color to a medium warm brown. She did a great job, but the color doesn’t suit me and I’d like to go back to my natural dark ash brown hair. I went to Sally’s and they told me I wouldn’t be able to go back to a cool toned brown from warm because it would turn green.. my question is.. is there any possible way to go back to dark ash brown from the warm colors I have in my hair now? Any suggestions are appreciated ❤️

thultisu: I used this product 1x for 3 minutes and couldn't comb through my hair afterwards! It fried my hair! I was pretty fired up. It did mellow out the red a teeny bit and blend my roots to my ends a little better but it sure dried and damaged my hair in the process. I'll have to get a very good deep conditioning treatment. I am okay with the color correction but not okay with the damage.

Glamazon Jess: Silvia, I love your channel and been watching you for ever! I was wondering if you could tell me how to get back to my ashy hair color from the "strawberry light brown" I am now... Thanks so much! Love ya

Tay: Is there any kind of smoothing salon treatment you may want to recommend? My hair is more on the fine side but still has a lot of wave and volume.

Sabrina Stovall: P.s will you please do a updated video on straightening your hair and keeping it healthy from breakage and heat damage please !!!

Hayley Stone: How long does it take to start noticing a difference? I just dyed my hair a medium chocolate brown, but it turned out to have a red tint to it; which I do not like.

V R: Thank you for this!!! I have dark brown hair with natural reddish highlights, but I’m wanting to dye my hair a chestnut color but I don’t want brassy red tones.

Kelly Devine: What hair style / cut would you suggest for super fine and thin hair? I've been using tape extensions but they are causing my scalp to have allergic reactions. I'm also allergic to the little metal rings on other permanent extensions. I'm not sure if cutting it will help Or hurt.

Kylee McKenzie: I’m writing this review for the red neutralizer after reading lots of reviews about it. I was sooooo upset that I spent my money and time ordering this product. I followed the directions and when I went to style my hair it felt like there was still product in my hair and it was stiff and sticky and dry. I had to re wash my hair. Not to mention that this product didn’t even work to neutralize red. Even days after there was still a black tinge coming out of my hair when I washed it because of this product. Don’t waste your money on this product.

Elizabeth Johnson: I love Tinted Love, and I LOVE how your 50% off link still works!! Thank you!

Ines Cabrera: Amazing! Thanks so much for sharing this with us. I do have a question, Is this permanent ? If I don't like the results will it wash out completely?

Chelsea Takemoto: Hi Sylvia! If I have a baylayage with light/med brown top and ash blonde ends, would you recommend this? My goal is get the red hues out of my brown and keep my blonde. Purple doesn't seem to take care of the red in my brown hair.

Marie Karlsen0: I have medium dark brown hair with a light to medium amount of red/brassiness in it. Do I have to/ do you recommend me using a toner? ❤️

Amy Hebsch: This is my biggest nightmare. I have the worst reddish tone in my brown hair. No hairdresser can get rid of it.

Kaydee C: I have natural red hair with blonde highlights throughout, I've done so much blonde at different times I feel it looks orange and brassy at times. What color do you recommend from this line?

Samantha D.: I have a level 6-7 base (very warm/brassy toned) right now that I'm looking to paint balayage myself onto. I'd like to keep the darker roots but want to tone them first like you note in the video. Could I tone with this shampoo and then paint the bleach streaks on top to the sections that I want to lighten?

Sally Heart: So happy you did this video! Thanks!!!

Jessica G: Just ordered my bottle ✨ hope it works!

Irisandra Hernandez: i have this one. And i love it!!!!!

Sewing Lara: I used to have brown hair and I never liked it because of the shade. It didn't compliment my skin tone. Too bad I didn't have your advice back then :) although I love being blonde, I find brown hair wonderful when the shade is right. Thumbs up!

Rebekah Barrett: question, can you use gray dye to do the same thing? have you heard of that? does the shampoo fade pretty quickly because its a Stain and re apply it every time you shower?

Minot Christine: Literally went out and bought this immediately after watching this video! I had just dyed my hair brunette from blonde but I've been too scared to use it ;) I wish there were more reviews of it on real hair out there. Thanks for this video!

Jen M: I started going grey/white pretty young (maybe 32?) do to health issues. I just started coloring in my early 40's kinda regularly, to look a little healthier than I am, but nothing I try will hold. My stylist finally decided I needed to go really dark, which I have been scared to do in the past for fear that it would age me. Anyway, she used her darkest shade of brown (almost black) and added a little violet for shine. I am using her recommended shampoo to keep it from being stripped, and only washing twice a week (sometimes 3). I am only a few weeks in and already see grey/white!! Would a toning shampoo help this?i haven't seen one for really dark hari, and i can't afford a subscription service right now. Any advice on things i could do? The only reason i am not embracing the grey/ white is because I look so much sicker and older when I let it go. If I can't be healthier (trying), I atleast would like to look it. Love your videos, and thankyou!

Glamazon Jess: YAAAAAS! Thank you! This is what I need!

Jennifer Killion: so this was the red neutralizer and not the soft red, right? i went to the salon and literally asked for a color that looked JUST LIKE the toned side, and was instead given what the other side looks like! i want whatever you used on this doll, because i am literally the before side and i want the after. if you could help that would be soooo great :)

faith gooch: Thanks to everyone who said it doesn't work, saved me some monayy!

katie rose: THANK YOU FOR THIS VIDEO!!!

CrypticCompositions: I used the red neutralizer, my ends are highlighted and do not match the rest of my natural, medium ash brown hair. It worked very well! I saw an obvious difference by my third use, but I leave it in longer than 5 minutes.

lexie25a: Hi Elle, i see the 'red neutralizer' shampoo on esalon. Is this the one you used for the ashy effect?

mslatinamom: I have a base color with LowLights and HighLights. Do you still recommend using the toner? Or what do your recommend when I do start seeing some redness come through?

Julia Karanović: I found that purple shampoo works for me too. I get my hair dyed a really ashy brown, it looks really silver in the light and the shampoo works wonders.

Niamh Sanchez: My hair is naturally brown but I had light highlights put in twice but now I've dyed it back to brown but it looks very red/ginger in the light. Is the red neutralizar the best option for me?

Keslyn Nguyen: Thank you. It works!

missjgomez: Can you use the light brown product on the other side of the mannequins hair to see how it works. Love your videos

Mimmi Santos: Hi, I have really dark brown hair (practically black, i'm Indian by nationality) and I got a balayage done with caramel highlights but the problem is my hair ended up turning slightly red. My stylist said that the bleach got the red out, but even after getting toned twice at the salon the caramel is more red then caramel. I was just wondering if toning shampoo will help it (my hairstylist wouldn't give me an answer when i asked about toning shampoos). And I'm not sure whether I would need a red neutralizing shampoo or a brown color one. Thank you for your help :)

mbdtf: How can I keep my gold tones while removing the orange parts? I have hair similar to the dolls untoned side. I love the gold but want to tone down the orange, which tinted love should I get?

Arbn: thank you so much ! I need this !

MsYaya: can i use it in my natural hair? I haven't dye my hair for a long time, and my natural hair have relish can i use it as well on my natural hair to make it ashy?

Kristen Warner: Thank you for this video! I just ordered this product and can't wait to see if it will work for me!

SaydisLife: When will this product be back in stock?? I really want to try it because I have been struggling so bad with red tones in my hair.

cookie crumble: Thanks for this video, i have lightened my hair and then put a light brown dye on it but its still far too red and brassy for my liking.

Kirsty Macfarlane: I have highlighted/ombre my roots are level 4/5 and the mid length to ends are a mix of level 7 through to 9 would the blonde toning shampoo work on my darker bits?

brilliantbrunette77: Wish these products weren't out of stock .I was wondering if you can do a video on how to get a true light ash brown hair color? My hair has always turned orange and brassy after awhile. Thanks!

Madisen Ravanelli: What should I do if parts of my blonde hair is way too white(some of my ends) and I want it to be more golden?

Georhina Reyes: i really love your videos!

Samantha B: Hey! I have a question, I used the toning shampoos you recommended here, and the red has intensified.. I have a level 8 reddish brown, natural is a level 8 gold brown. How can I cancel out some of this red? Will a green based, blonde toner work?

Sandra VI: You are such a cool chick !! Thank you for helping us !! god bless you

Rose Sweets: Hello I’m so confused I have a slight gold brassy on my light brown hair which one should I use the red neutralizer or the soft red neutralizer ? Thank you

Daniella Kazmierczak: Just came across your channel. I have naturally dark brown hair and had a balayage ombre done to make it a light caramel color. The brassy textures are now back. What's the best toner shade to use to get back to that caramel but not yellow?

Daniella Kazmierczak: Just came across your channel. I have naturally dark brown hair and had a balayage ombre done to make it a light caramel color. The brassy textures are now back. What's the best toner shade to use to get back to that caramel but not yellow?

Faye In Wonderland: Just bought this product, hope it works on my brown reddish hair!

Shallon Nicole: how many uses do you get out of the product?

Michelle Marie: I need this I need this right now!!!

Colleen Austin: Hey there! I was trying to see about possibly getting the light to medium brown red neutralizer, but it is out of stock. I noticed the comments that you are able to get in touch with the company? I am between a level 4-5, and I am worried about getting the one that is for medium brown to black hair; so I would like to try the light to medium brown.

pritfc: Im very disappointed that the red tone is still on my hair and even worse my hair is VERY dry after using and leaving for Only 3 min ! I'm so upset!

Straingelove: What if you have dark hair with blond balayage and just want to tone the regrowth without it affecting the blond strands?

Lynny: How much did you use to get the doll head hair so brown? I used that same product and left it on for 5 minutes and it didn't really do anything. What am I doing wrong?

georgina: Did you use the one for dark hair or light to medium? Really want to recommended this to a client

wendynicole71: How long did you leave the shampoo on the hair to tone it to that degree? Did you do it more than once to get it to that color?

brittk2007: I'm very confused with what the dolls head looked like before.... did it have the brassy hair all over???? Or did it have half brassy half normal brown? I'm finding it hard to believe that the toning shampoo did in fact fix the brassy color and make it into a cool toned brown hair without using a dye. Please help me understand!

Sophie Fradkin: question: i recently went dark blonde (about level 7-8) after having extremly bleached hair for 8 years. and i was wondering if you can recommand me a toner shampoo to bring bach some golden tint into is because my color has more of a ashy tint to it and i do not like it.my hair dressor did do all the recuired process to put back some golden pigment but im thinking should i color it again in few weeks or using a toner is a better solution? plus, any recommendations onhow to prevent color fading? i love your channel it has been a great help when i was blonde, but i was wondering if you could make a video on the transformation from bleached to dark hair.

Kurbie1987: I have a question; I want to take the red out of the brown part of my hair on top of my head but my ends are blond, does this product effect this part? I actually want the ends to stay the same but im worries when only applied to the top part it would leave a very visible line...

Louis Edgar: I question I want to achieve a light cool brown. What level of color during The lightening process should I stop since it's a cool brown? I have dark brown btw

Kimberly Soaper: Is there any way to tone highlighted hair? I have balayage highlights and my highlights get brassy over time but my base color is ashy, though it pulls very warm when colored. The blonde toners use developer that will lighten my base (which I don't want). Is the only solution to try to apply the blonde toners just to the highlights?

Free mind: can we use it on the roots only if highlights have a nice color but the base is brassy?

Robyn Mason: how long does the shampoo last?

sara irving: just ordered this ,thank you for discount :) x

Jess A: Have you ever talked about hair that is very stubborn to lift or lifts to really orange/red instead of going up levels? This is my hair and a lot of my clients and I can't seem to figure out why. I've only gotten the explanation of "some hair just reacts like that." I'm not sure how to really correct it other than using a toner to bring it down or to do a strong toner and then continue to try to lift it out in the next appointment.

Jade Rule: Do they ship internationally?i don't think they do :( and I so want to try these products.

LopezSoso: Will this help for hot roots on brown hair. My hair is light/medium brown with red tones but the roots are a lot lighter than the rest of the hair.

girl zombie: so i just went from orange to dark ash brown. i want to go lighter do i tone now or what do i do thank you xx great vids watch them alot
