Hey everybody welcome back to tessa's weight closet at wig studio one. Today, i'm going to continue my affordable series with this popular little number that i'm wearing this is voltage by raquel welch in the color rl1723. Hang around for the review and outdoor look at this color and styling coming up voltage is a short shaggy. Little pixie cut very, very popular style with raquel welch you'll find this in an elite version. You will also find this in, i think, a large size as well, so they've really done a great job of making this available for all different types of tastes and preferences. The version that i have right here is the voltage in the average size and it's just an open cap style, so we're going to go through all those specs, but let's first get up close on this color rl, 1723 ss. Now, what what you want to know is that this voltage style is made from the vibra light fiber by raquel welch. It is not heat friendly. This rl 1723 ss, a shaded iced latte macchiato, is available on both vibralight certain styles of vibralite and certain true to life. Fiber styles you'll notice. Some differences in the color, the vibra light styles seem to be more shiny. They have a little more depth and dimension of color, so what you're going to notice is a dark ash blonde as a base color and that's very heavily highlighted within a pale ash, blonde or platinum highlight, and that is on a medium brown root. So it's easy to see that this is a very cool tone. It almost comes across so ashy that it looks gray. I think this is an amazing color if you're looking to transition into a gray shade, so from blonde to gray, even a salt and pepper to all gray, i purchased this style with my own funds. My intention was to actually wear it a little bit this summer and summer's kind of getting away from me. My opportunities to wear wigs in 2020 summer are a lot less than they were in any previous years, so i haven't really worn this out a whole lot. Yet my mom's seen me in it: she absolutely adores it. This is kind of her favorite um on me anyway, with the short shaggy look, so i chose this for my affordable series based on quality style and price. So, as of the date of this filming, the regular price is about a hundred and forty dollars. If you apply a discount to that, you can bring it down much lower. So i really feel, like you get a lot of bang for your buck with this voltage style. This style is what i like to call a plug and chug wig style, you plug it and you chug out the door. It'S super easy, very, very convenient to have a wig style like this. It looks fantastic every time and you don't have to do anything just give it a shake apply. It kind of use your fingers to go around the face in less than five seconds you're ready to go honestly. The ease and comfort of this is just in how it's made, so you have about a 3.75 inch bang on most people. That'S just gon na sweep right above the eyebrow. You can wear it straight down. You can sweep it off to either side. It'S a completely open cap design with a lot of stretch, so it's very, very cool and comfortable to wear and then in the back. You'Ve got about a 2.75 inch nape, which gives you some really nice ample coverage. If you have a little bit of a lower biological hairline back there, the profile is super cute, because you have all these layers running up the back and it only weighs two ounces. So you can't get much lighter than that when it comes to wigs voltage, is an open cap style design. So you are going to see some permatease throughout the top of this style kind of thickest and heaviest right here at the very top. At the crown. A little bit at the back, virtually none at the nave, i'm not sensing any right there at the ear tab. So, basically, just at the top - and it still makes it super lightweight and comfortable to wear and even cool, because this permatease is going to hold it up a little bit and give you a very flattering: silhouette: that's going to hold for you all day and there's Such versatility with this style, you would think you would be limited in the possibilities of styling and how to reflect your own personality. But i got to tell you: i've done a lot with this little style so far and it is super cute. Obviously i have a root, a darker root on this color and it's really impossible to see down into any permatease, especially when it's a little bit fluffed up there. But even if you wanted to make a designated part, that permatease is not obvious at all on this piece, i can't speak for a very light blonde with no root. I'M not sure how that would look, but this cap is designed very well again choosing the style for my affordable series based on a wonderful price point, a truly beautiful style, quality construction, a true convenient plug and chug wig style, and the fact that it's very versatile, You just can't get any more better than this in terms of a good investment. Let'S take a look at the inside of this cap. Here'S the inside of raquel welch's voltage style completely open cap. You'Ve got a nice velvet piece there in the front. That'S super comfortable! There'S a nice brush of fiber at the hairline to give you a nice believable, look open cool, open, wefts on top sides and back you have open ear, tabs nice sturdy stays with nice coverage. There an extended open, nape with velcro style, adjusters a nice amount of stretch. I did have to take it in just a little to accommodate a petite average circumference. So i feel like this is completely average right out of the box. This style is right out of the box. I didn't use any product, i simply shook it out, placed it on and arranged it around my face. Now you can spray some water in to bring the spiky layers out on this style. I haven't done any of that. As of yet, i do want to point out that glasses fit beautifully between the ear and the ear tab on this style, and it looks super cute. So i'm just generally going to mess with this hair a little bit. So you can see how it moves and reacts to the different styling options. Hopefully you're inspired to work with your short, wigs and pixies thanks. Karen's Kloset: This is my favorite go to wig I have had voltage for about 2 years now and I have the same one and it's still holding up still looks like the day I pulled it out of the box I use little clippies on the sides and one on the top just to go ahead and pull it back a little bit and it really gives a cute little trendy flip style and takes out some of the bulk on the top it's so stylish my sideburns are about an inch longer than the sideburns of voltage and I pull them out and it gives it an even cuter look I wish I could attach a photo this is a two thumbs up adorable style wig it's so cute on you Taz of course everything looks adorable on you as you are so beautiful

kk doc: I found this on clearance not rooted awhile ago and was able to feel comfortable playing with it because of the price lol. Added some rooting by using the brown L’Oreal root touch up and liked the results.

BoMiSo Satori: I like this wig alot. I bought a previous owned wig that I THOUGHT was this, from a lady who claimed it was barely used. Not sure if she slept in it , but its stiff and the hair stick together its very piecy and not in a nice way. I did wash it, but feel it needs another round. The colour is not the best for me, but I wanted to try it to see if that short style suits me, but here in Norway on the site that supports clients with hair loss and sells to hospitals etc its called Devon Raquel Welch by Ellen Wille, Europe collection. On her own page its called Fascination, same picture and style- VERY confusing :D Anyway its very light, but needs another round of wash to allow me to want to wear it , cause now it feels like dolls hair. In Norway wigs are running from 400-1800 for synthetics and up to 7000 for human hair - I dont want human hair. So this is why I got a used wig to try before committing :) This piece was 800 new I also got another from Belle Madam from another lady - the lace front is burnt off and the wig is NOT the wig she claimed.it looks like a dead rats nest so now I have 2 rags to try and get ok so I can find a style to buy NEW for myself. I am excited on this wig journey.....obviously, I have fallen on my face so far - getting fake crap from China thinking I bought in UK, and gotten crap in Norway, thinking people are telling the truth, but I guess if they dont wanna show you pictures of the ACTUAL wig they own its for a reason so I wont do that again :)
