Hey everybody welcome back to taz's weight closet at wig studio one. I have a look for you today at a brand new style by belletress in their cafe collection, one of the new releases for 2020. This one is called caribou and it's in the color butter beer blonde. This is a super, interesting style. We'Re going to take a lot of looks at this coming up. So caribou is a short super curly voluminous bob cut, it's a big fat glorious mess and those of you that, like messy's curly styles, are going to adore uh this little cut. It just brings out curls bring out smiles in me. I just love it when i look in the mirror and i've got curls it's just like. Yes, i've got energy. I'Ve got youthfulness, i'm going to go out there and tackle the day. So there's a lot going on here with caribou. It'S a combination of curl patterns, which i really enjoy these two uh textures together, so first you're going to see that choppy piecy tousled sort of broken spiral that is so common among the belletress styles. That'S what gives it that messy look, but then they go and throw in some softer coiled ringlets in there, like the ones you see around the face, and the combination is just it's just super attractive and it just lends to its messiness. It'S totally unstructured. It is just a glorious mess so around the front, you're gon na find about a five and a half inch uh front piece here now, all the way around from the crown down and from the sides down all the way around it's about ten and a half Inches overall, you know the the curl is doing all the work here. It'S not heavily layered um you'll see some kind of kind of a blunt cut all the way around, but each one of these fibers is kind of uh each one of these pc fibers is a little bit tapered, so that just kind of lends to that messy. Look as well, it weighs about four and a half ounces and features that temple to temple, lace, front and left mono part. Now the only thing that i'm a little bit concerned about on this style - and it could be just a one-off situation - um, but where they they spliced in this hair here um on this side of where i've parted it there's a big thick cluster of knots right There right there, where it coils over now, i think it's easily obscured and i will definitely work with that hairline, because otherwise i think the knotting is fairly fine to match the hair texture. But if you wanted to pin that back, you may have to go in and pluck some of those heavy knots right there at the front on that side. So how does this style measure up uh to the manufacturer's photos i'll go ahead and put up a copy here? It looks nothing like the photos. I mean yeah, it's short and it's curly, but the photos can't really depict this. Just superb texture, uh and multiple textures of this style. In fact, it looks like a really tight perm in the photo. Doesn'T it - and this is definitely not one of those tight perms like i said just that broken spiral, tapered ends giving that real, tousled messy and then you do have some softer waves um around the face, there's actually a lot of body in this style as well. That'S great movement, i just love to throw around a messy style because you don't have to worry about it. Getting messed up so butterbeer blonde is one of my favorite blondes uh from that cafe: collection by beltress. Here'S a close-up look at belletress caribou brand new for 2020 in the color butter beer blonde. This is straight out of the box. I simply gave it a shake and applied it to the mannequin head, beautiful curl, jumping off of that lace, front beautiful soft curl and then that is gives way to a lot of choppy texture on the sides in the back. Let'S take a look at a closer look at butterbeer blonde butterbeer blonde is a sandy a light sandy brown base. Color that's heavily highlighted with a pale ash blonde. It'S very dynamic due to all the chunky pieces of highlight it's a beautiful blend of neutrals and ash tones. It does have a light brown root and that's very well done rooting. It'S just one of my very favorite, absolute favorite colors. Now, like i said in the quick clip there, it is a 1923 code and that sounds familiar because that's the same exact uh color code that raquel welch uses on their shaded biscuit. So i feel like this color is very comparable to the shaded biscuit by raquel. Welch, it's a very popular blonde, so if you're looking for a sister color in the belletress styles, we have found it. So this caribou style is very reminiscent of the other styles in the cafe collection in terms of density, they're, all made from the heat friendly fiber and that heat friendly fiber is ultra luxurious. It'S super soft, just a real luxurious feeling to the fiber. Now, with this one, i feel like it's also a lighter density like so many of those in the cafe collection, um. The curl is actually doing all the work to create this volume here, because there's very little thickness, just a nice average density, i would say, and the level of permatease is also very light. You'Re going to see some permatease around that monofilament part just generally, a thin layer of permatease throughout the cap to obscure wefting provide a little bit of support, but nothing thick, nothing, pillowy, um and so you're not going to be able to pinch in a ton of Volume, i think that also gives it some really nice movement that it's not the cap is not full of that thick pillowy permatease. So this is your typical belletress cap, in that cafe, collection which features a temple to temple, lace, front, left, monofilament side, part open, wefted top sides and back strap type. Adjusters and a standard velvet need closed velvet ear tabs. There'S quite a bit of stretch on this style. I had to cinch it in quite a bit to accommodate a petite average circumference. So i have some beautiful cat eye readers here that i purchased from readers.com. It'S all about animals today, my caribou style wig, my leopard print shirt and my cat eye glasses. Let'S try with glasses these cat eye. Glasses are just so beautiful and fashionable. Don'T forget that readers.com does offer a promo code to my viewers, taz 30 30. Is it just about function? It'S about form. One is called the brit and it comes in a variety of powers, beautiful jewelry, for the face. So, even though, there's not a whole lot of length to work with and you've got some tapered ends here, you can still pull away from the sides just to reduce the volume around the sides, kind of pin it just below the crown for some a different way To wear it likewise, if you want to draw it away from the face and kind of pull the curls up and back towards the crown, leaving some at the front going ahead and securing it just before the crown area, altrust styles are very easily tuckable. There'S not a whole lot of permatease that would prevent that right above the temple there. You can change your whole look through some tucks thanks. I have a 20-1/4 inch diameter and have a hard time finding wigs that I don’t have to alter to fit, especially Jon Renau, which I love. I have found that Noriko wigs fit me without altering, but there are limited choices in Noriko. Any advice would be appreciated. Thank you. I watch all your videos.
