Wig Review: Reeves By Estetica In Color Silversunrt8

Hi everyone, it's andrea here from the faux blonde, and today i am bringing you a wig review for lori at lori's lemonade stand. The wig that i am reviewing today is reeves by estetica in the color, vanilla macchiatta. I will do a spin around and show you what this style looks like before we get into the details. Vanilla macchiato is a beautiful color, i'm going to get up close so that you can see it better. It'S on a medium brown root and the root is quite a long root here, so you can see and then it after the root it comes down into this highlighted beautiful color, which is a touch of medium gold blonde and then there's an icy platinum highlight over That so here you can see that gold blonde and then there's this icy platinum, there's a lot of the icy platinum. So it really gives it an overall icy cool look, but just a touch of warmth through these gold blonde pieces which make it just a beautiful color. I would love for aesthetica to do this color again and bring the color right up to the root, because personally, i'm not a fan of a long of a root this long without there being some blonde in it. But i think this color is just phenomenal. So the lengths on the vanilla macchiato leaves is the bang is 6.5 inches, so you would really need to sweep it over to the side or cut it. If you wanted to turn it into a full bang, the sides are 9 inches. The crown is 12.. The nape is 11.5 and the overall weight is 4.9 ounces. It feels really light for a style of this length and i feel that the fibers are. The fibers are a bit on the dry side, but they feel natural. It feels like real hair. So i'm going to take the cap off and show you what the inside of the cap looks like. This is a basic cap, but i do feel that there are ways that you can make a basic cap look more natural and before i take the cap off and just show you the basic cap, one of the ways that you can make it more natural is Here at the here at the part, so there's permatease up here to sort of um hide the the wefting. So there is some permatease, but i do feel that it is um manageable. I'M someone who doesn't like permatease, but i feel on this style. The permatease is manageable, the only thing i would do if i was keeping this one, i would take some makeup. Some um light concealer and i would put a concealer line right here and then it gives you the illusion of scalp kind of like the same way that sometimes we put in a root using makeup. You can do the same thing, putting makeup in right here to give it more the illusion of scalp, another thing that i would do to make it more natural, because i have some hair in the front now, if you don't have hair in the front, this wouldn't Work as well, but because i have some hair in the front, i can take out my own hair and blend some of my own hair so that that then gives it a more natural look. So when i do that - and i just push it back a little bit and bring out a little bit of my own hair, it improves on the natural look of this basic cap. So i'm going to take her off now and show you the inside of the cap before i do, i'm just going to show you these gorgeous waves. I love the wave pattern on reeves. This is just a beautiful, beautiful style, and i love that because it's a basic cap, it's a really affordable style and just beautiful, my goodness, i'm just looking at that and admiring how beautiful it is so the inside of the cap, it does have here, you'll see That this is a basic cap construction, so here it is a nice smooth, um piece of material here and then the rest is all open wefting and in the back there are hook adjusters and you can see where i have them. This is fitting me great on my 22 inch head circumference with the hook adjusters set there, and you can see that brown root coming down a little bit i'll show it to you again. While i have it off there's a bit of a goldenness to the root and you'll see as i there's no monofilament top. So you could disguise that with makeup. If you wanted to there's a really good look at the root, i'm gon na pop her back on the other great thing about these long styles is that i find they're very versatile when it comes to styling. So with this one you would have so many styling options. You can easily put her in a ponytail. You could put her in an updo. I really enjoy wearing my wigs over to the side like this. So, there's really so many ways you could put in a headband. You could have some of these front pieces hanging down and put it up in a clip. There'S just so many ways that you can style this reeves wig. I think it is just stunning. It comes in a number of colors and you can find those colors on laurie's website.
