It'S me slate by jordan. The company we'll be working with today is v. Show hair. I'M gon na quickly show you the goodies that came inside the packaging. They sent me over. This 613 kinky curly, yes, 613 kinky, curly 26 inch wig, let's get into it. This week comes with a 13 by 4, transparent lace, four combs in the inside adjustable strap at the bottom. You only get two inch parting space on the sides um it does come. Pre-Plucked and the knots are small. I do not like the fact that this wig sheds and it tangles a lot, especially when wet so. My recommendation is to deep condition this wig and let it air dry, don't touch it for the color. Today, we're going to be using our shimmer lights, kiss honey, brown, kids, dark, warm brown and kiss darkest brown and back to what i was saying about deep conditioning the wig you're not going to see it on camera. But when i was um conditioning the hair and brushing it through, it was very much so tangling and i know it's because it's processed it's 6 13 and it's kinky curly. However, once it fully dry like air dried, i didn't experience that much tangling and that much shedding, but just know that this wig does tangle its shed. I want to make that very clear, um, so yeah right now, i'm just taking this purple shampoo and toning that brassy yellow out, because i hate that brass yellow. I love a more icy, more pale tone like that. Brassy, yellow is just not it and then we're going to start doing our watercolor method, uh we're going to start with our lightest color and then, as we go down we're going to go to our darker colors, it's kind of self-explanatory. You really can't mess this up at all. You just dip it and stop it. Where you want the color to stop it is, would you tell me those lies all the colors are done so now we're going to rinse it out with cool water. Make sure you do not use hot water, it will dull your color once we fully rinse it out with cool water, we're going to take our silicone mix bamboo. That'S my favorite one out of the silicone mix, um line. I just feel like that. One will get you together, honey for real and we're going to take that and we're going to brush that all the way through. Like i said this wig does tangle, so you can really see like the brush, isn't going all the way through the wig like it's really just on the surface of it, but i sat there and i combed that wig until i made brush that way until they Got all the way through, like you see right, there took me a little while, but i put in the work you do take a sacrifice with getting the 613 kicking curly wig, because it's double processed, it's 6 13 and it's kinky curly, so you're gon na have To be willing to do the maintenance, however, if you're willing to do it, honey it'll turn out to be a beautiful situation like this one right here, we're back with my girlfriendy. She had been on the channel and woo. It has been definitely like. Maybe almost two years now i think yeah um, i'm not quite sure, but it's been a long time, but we've got my girl, fendi and we're gon na get this wig style. Popping y'all already know i'm at the makeup of the ruby kisses level. 14.. I already added it to her cap, i'm going to add it all over the lace on the bottom and on the top and then we're going to start applying this wig. I'M is baby. Um doctors work, work, work work. This is y'all already know, i'm using my lace, my adhesive maximum strength, four layers from my girl, beautiful hustler, the only adhesive i use y'all already know how i go. Sorry we just need our last layer is clear, so you already know it's time to lay that lace down and then we're going to use our blow dryer in the teeth of the comb. To make sure we start submerging that lace into the skin, and once we do that, we're going to tie it down with our elastic band and we're going to come back when it's time to cut that excess lace don't want to off. You is oh, do i let you go is i'm i don't want you, as you can see, when i cut that lace off that you see that the lace is very visible, with my blonde um and light color installs. I don't like to add too much makeup because it can get dirty and orange very quickly. I like to add, as i go so don't fret y'all know jordan, i'm gon na make it blend. You know you just got ta give me a chance got ta. Give me a chance um today we're doing the side part after i've already parted the hair, we're gon na separate our hairs for our baby hairs. We'Re going to add some more makeup, spread the lace with hairspray and tie it down with our elastic band. Then, after that, i'm going to come back and you know walk out through how i do my baby hairs. Uh is foreign me. Oh, is oh so now we're gon na hot comb, our baby hairs and after we do that we're going to cut them off using our eyebrow razor, then we're going to take our half an inch flat iron and curl. The baby hairs upwards. The two around the forehead temple and then for the two sideburns since she wants some big and dramatic we're going to use our one inch flat, irons to curl those upwards. After that, we're going to take our mousse and our edge comb brush and we're just going to swoop those into place and tie it down with three wrap strips me, uh myself me yeah yeah. Yes, i would be, oh so being that i want y'all to really see the color more. I don't want the hair really poofy um. I want it to be big, but like defined curls big. So what i'm going to do is wet the hair down with just strictly water finger, rake it or brush it out, if need be, and as it dries under the dryer, it's going to dry and the curls are going to be defined. But it isn't going to be per se a wet look because you know with the wet look: it's really: it's really wet um, it looks wet and um. The density appears thinner. I want to keep that full density in the wig, but i want these curls to be defined so like when you see the colors melting down it just flows. I didn't really want like a a big wild. You know afro look because that wasn't what we were going for today. I wanted to tame it down. Some, however, don't get me wrong. I love big afro kinky curly hair trust me just for with this look with the color choice that we did. I don't think it really would have. You know, went with the flow, so that's all i wanted to you know wet it down, get those curls to find some, but still let it be a little big, um yeah hope, y'all get what i'm saying you know uh. I know after 20 minutes she is back from the dryer we're just going to cut those wrap strips off and, of course, y'all know. I comb the baby hairs out and trim them down off camera, i'm just showing y'all what it look like freshly. You know from the dry and, as you can see girl it's very much so given to me. You know it is given to me and now we're going to show y'all. The final final outcome look once again. This is a 26 inch, 613 kiki, curly wig from v show hair.
