Hey guys so today I am going to be coloring. My 18-inch 13 by 6 lace, front wig that I just made so I'm gon na be darkening the roots on her and I'm also gon na be running some of the root color through the hair to tone it just a little bit so for my color today. I'M going to be using the Redken shades eq in these three shades, I'm using a 6 in B, a 7 n and a crystal clear as well. So those are the ones I'm using and I'm using all of those in equal parts or my roots. For my wig, so I'm gon na go ahead and get that mixed up, and then we can go ahead and get started. Okay. So, while doing this color, you definitely want to make sure that you don't intentionally get the color onto the ends of the hair or anywhere throughout the mid-shaft. Try to keep the color on the roots and the roots only until it's time to wash out and then you're just gon na spread a little bit throughout the hair just to get it on there. So while I color, I always keep a towel that I can wipe my hands off on that way, I don't transfer color throughout the rest of the hair. So let me show you guys how I have my hair sectioned out, so I sectioned out my lace, frontal on both sides, and I only sectioned out this top portion of my wig, because this portion is honestly not going to be seen at all. And this is not a full lace wig, so you can't pull it up or anything like that. So this is actually where I'm going to start my color for this way, so I'm only doing the roots and the perimeter that way this wig can look a little bit more natural. So let me go ahead and get started alright. So, like I said, let me go ahead. I'M just gon na grab all the hair, that's in the back cuz, I'm actually gon na. Do the sides of the hair in the back as well so start on this side. All right just get a little bit of color and kind of go over just the root parts of the hair, just to get it to be a little more natural. So in about ten minutes or so we'll start to see the color change, because if you guys didn't know, this is the color of hair that I'm using is a number 27, not your cane. So I didn't want anything like super super bright for this curly wig and you guys can definitely use whatever color is best fit for you, I'm using a level 6 and 7 mixed together. I feel like that's, definitely a lot more natural than using like a level 1 or 2. If you want, you can also use a level 4. That'S a really good order to use as well on the route without having any issues or anything like that. So definitely use whatever is more comfortable for you. Alright, so I'm just gon na go through this back portion of the hair and then after I go through this back portion, we can go back and look at the middle and see how far it's processed all right. So it is completely colored in the back section that I want to do now. Let me let up you the very beginning section: it's getting a little bit more Brown, so we're gon na just let that down and let that process. Now we can move on to the frontal the frontal. You definitely need to be way more careful. Of course, I went ahead and sprayed some got to be spray onto my lace before I started this color, I did not want to tint the lace at all. Just to be safe, go ahead and tint it, it only takes a few minutes. I just did two layers, and that was it so now, I'm gon na go ahead and start from the bottom and I'll work. My way in towards the top. That way, the hair is just kind of laying on itself. So still be really careful you guys, I don't want you guys getting any color on the at all, so just tap lightly with your brush. All right just take a section little sections at a time grab your brush lightly. Take your time, you're, just depositing color, so no rush fold it back over. I kind of pull the hair out a little bit when I'm trying to color. That way, I can try to get as close as possible without having it laid down and me having to press on the lace. I just want to put the pressure on the hair and the hair only tap in there. That'S it. I can go ahead and take another little section and I'll go ahead and do exactly this all the way to the top. And I only do a little bit at a time, because I want to be able to go back through with my comb and kind of smooth the color out a little bit further just so, we can blend a little bit more with the hair, so I'll go In and do that, once I'm completed with this section I'll go ahead in and smooth it out a little bit all right, I'm about halfway through this section, I don't want to press the hair down onto the lace I just want to let it lay naturally so That it can continue, but this is what my back section color looks like. So this is the color we're definitely going for, and I will go through the back section as well and smooth that out that way, it can blend more with a number 27 here. All right, you guys, so I have completely tinted the roots just a little bit. I will go through and smooth it out and blend it into the number 27 hair just to get it a more seamless color though I'll start in the back, where I started coloring. All right, so this is the back where I had started: coloring the hair and now I'm gon na go through with a comb and just kind of comb it through just a little bit all right comb it through. You don't have to go completely through the whole head. Just color bring the color down just a little bit so then it can tint, maybe like an inch further. So let me do this back art, it's kind of comb. It summit going down I'll, probably use my fingers on some of the part just to get it through. Still, you guys be sure that you're not touching the ends of the hair with your hands when doing this part just kind of stick to the roots, smoothing them out alright. So now, let's do another section smooth out smooth it out. Komets move it and I'll continue doing this throughout the entire wig, where I have the color, if you need to add a little bit more color to it, definitely do so if you feel like it's not saturated enough, go and kind of blend it down. Now that I'm at this point and I'm completely done blending the back portion now, I'm gon na go head in and dry my hands off. So then I can continue on to the frontal alright. So now I'm going to continue on with the network that I started to tint is take a section of the hair move it over to the side and if you guys do end up getting a little bit of color on the lace or the knots are a Little too dark for you don't hesitate, especially if you're a wig maker and you really color hair, often don't hesitate to go in and put all a little bleach on the knots just to give it a one or two level. Lift that way. You'Ll be fine. You don't want to have to lift it too much, though, because, especially if the knots are already light, that's double processing, and you definitely don't want that. Oh just bring it down with the comb just a little bit and trying not to touch the roots with my hands, because I am using my hands to perk the hair so just go in with your comb comb it out just a little bit and I'm doing Two sections at a time because my parts are still there from me the roots, so my parts are still kind of there. I'M just kind of grabbing two sections at a time that I definitely want to get in there and probably shampoo this out in the next five minutes. So I just want to kind of speed debris this part I'll, probably let these sit on there for maybe maybe another few minutes you guys, you don't want it to sit on there long, because it's just the roots and you don't want the roots to be super. Dark we use the level seven and a level six, so my roots shouldn't be that bright, but you definitely don't want them to continue darkening because you left it on too long. So definitely be careful if you're not good at tinting the nuts, if you're, really not too good at it, I would suggest taking your time. You can even use a eyelash brush if you really want to get really deep into detail when doing your roots, and you want to be really careful. So just make sure you continue that, so that side is pretty much completely done now. I can go ahead in on this side and kind of comb it down all right, so I'm gon na continue this and then I'll show you guys what I do to tone the rest of the hair and how I shampoo my roots out, because I definitely want To get some of this root color throughout the hair, so then it can tone the rest of the hair just a little bit not enough to make it dark, but just enough to get the yellow out. So I've combed through all of that nice and easy a colored one-inch, but now I combed it out to be at least two inches of darken roots. Now I can move on to the shampooing process. Let that sit for only another three minutes. Okay, so the hair is completely tinted. The roots are ready to go now. I can go ahead and rinse the hair off just a little bit, and then I can start shampooing see now what I'm gon na do for the rest of the hair. I did not completely rinse out all of the toner, but I'm gon na kind of go in massage it in and let the toner pretty much continue on throughout the rest of the hair. All right. So if I have a lot of hair three bundles and a frontal, I can go in with my leftover toner here and just add a little bit to my shampoo. If I like, just if I want to give it a little tone down color so I'll, add a little bit of toner to my hand and I'm gon na use the design, essentials almond, shampoo, alright and I'll just add that to the hair a little bit. It doesn't have to stay on there long just enough to give it a little tone to it. Take out the brassiness of the hair, no yellow. I don't want that in there either and you can definitely always go in with a little bit of purple shampoo as well. If there's too much yellow in there just go in I'm going to add a little bit more to my hair and work that in the hair literally, I only want to keep this on there, for maybe five minutes, not too too long just enough to work it In there, and then we can go ahead and shampoo it out completely completely. My roots are just a little dark. These are my roots here, level 6 and 7 mixed together. Definitely not dart is definitely not all right. So now it's time to print out all of the toner completely all right. So let me show you what my roofs are looking like, can't really really tell but they're much darker in the regular hair. I part it much darker, so I'll, come back and show you guys what it looks like after I shampooed conditioned and I'll Drive the hair, alright y'all. So she is completely done. She'S, actually still a little bit wet in the back here and a little bit wet in the roots. I just went in and tau blotted her and I used the diffuser on her. So she's not completely dry, but she is done. She has that level, six level. Seven dark root on her. She is looking way she is rooted all the way around. Let me show you guys the back roots here. You can see it's a little bit darker, it's still a little bit wet in this area, but she is a sandy ash kind of blonde. She actually looks a little bit brighter in the camera than she does in person and, of course, I just used some of that toner for the roots and kind of spreaded throughout the whole head. That way, you can tone this hair a little bit more and I just kind of pressed the edges back a little bit, but she is a maid amazing, 18 inches curly. She will be available on my website. She is so pretty so you can definitely get this wig custom ordered, if you guys want this - is my Brazilian curly hair in the color 27 and all I did was color the roots, of course, and that's pretty much it. The research is shadowed. I didn't want a level 1 or a level 2 root, so that is pretty much it. I will post some pictures on the end and I thank you guys so much for watching. So much I'll see you guys in the next one you
