Dying Red Wig By Hand! Keeping The Color Off The Lace! | Ishow Hair

Hey y'all, it's your girl, easy breezy! So in this video i'm doing an extension to this video that i did a while back with this really cute red bang, install i'm gon na show you guys how i dyed it and how to keep that color off the lace stay tuned, all right y'all. I cannot just install it platinum for some reason. I always have to color it sprucing it up spice it up something and modeling. Today we have my girl, nikki neal, which is also a popular youtuber and her signature. Color is red, so i had to do this look on her today. Alright, so i have three different reds all right. I knew that i wanted like an ombre effect, so i got the ginger to go on the bottom, but i kind of i kind of feel like the ginger was a little bit too orangey. I kind of wanted a dark red ombre to a light red ombre, so i'm going to use the crimson on top and i'm going to use a truly red on the bottom of the hair, which is like a red orangey type of color. So i could have dipped this i feel like. I could have dipped it and did like a watercolor, but because it's red, i didn't want to stain the lace, because once a lace turns red it's over with. So in this special case i went back to my old school methods and i'm just doing it row by row with an application brush now in rare circumstances, if you get red or any type of color dye on a lace and it stains the lace, i've used. Color removers from sally's you can use color oops, it's another one. I think it's by ion. That'S really really good it's in a lavender package and it got my lace almost completely to its original color. So, just in case that happens, go to sally's and ask them for a color remover, all right, so to make this easier to apply, make sure you section the hair out in three or four sections. Normally it would be four sections, but in this case you know i'm trying to run through it a little bit. I really just want to separate the back from the frontal so yeah, so okay. So now that we're at the front i'm going to make sure that i'm doing small sections and then i'm really paying attention, because i do not want to get this red dye on the lace at all. So all right, let me change my angle, so y'all can see exactly what i'm doing when i get to the top. Now i might not care about getting dye on the lace, maybe three inches away from the hairline, but once i get up close where you start to get to you know the hairline and the baby hairs, then you definitely want to be more careful all right.
