Hi guys welcome back to another video, so today's video i'm going to be showing you guys how i got this bomb color uh. I want to show you guys how i took it from this said this, because guys i had to pretty much like strip the entire color to get this color, and i'm also going to be showing you guys how i went about um, dieting and stuff like that. Yeah i had a couple mistakes so, like i should you know, did it a different way, but it turned out cute or whatever you know, trial and error, but um yeah. I hope you guys really do enjoy this video. If you guys do enjoy the video. Don'T forget to like and subscribe, and i will see you guys in my next video bye, okay guys so first things. First, i already went ahead and filled my sink up with hot water. Now i'm just taking the ajax this detergent and i'm going to put that in there i didn't have any dawn, so that was going to have to work. But you want to use don if you have any and then i'm going to be using my vl5 shampoo and then i'm also going to put some baking soda into the water as well um, and these are going to help you remove the color from any 613 Hair that you may have so you see me just putting a lot up in there, because i need as much as i can get and then i went ahead and saturated my wig um. You want to see the water um to start changing. Colors you'll see it turn purple and it's going to be like a really really dark purple um. I don't want this wig to get too too light, but i do want it to get light enough to where it can take the pink and the pink doesn't come out. Looking like you know, any other color, but pink so um yeah. So i'm just going to be dipping it in there and i did leave it in there for about 10 minutes and then i just removed it um. I did this probably like six or seven times um, and so i got to the color that i wanted, which is like i really really like light grayish color and then um yeah. So what you see me doing now is that i'm pretty much just going to drain the water and you guys can see how purple it is and then um yeah you just you'll just keep seeing me. Redoing, the water over and over again and um you'll, see like the color is going to get lighter and lighter and lighter, as i keep doing it and the wig is going to get lighter and lighter as well. And that's when you know that it is working in your favor, so you're just going to continue to um do this process until you can get your wig as light as you can get it. I mean you, of course you can keep doing it until it's like blonde, but i didn't need it to be super blonde. I just needed to be light enough to where it took the color. I wasn't really worried about um the black taken, but i was really worried about the pink looking very vibrant, so this is pretty much why i decided to strip the color um but yeah. If you're going for a darker color, you don't have to go through this. You could just color the wig and it will take, but because i wanted that pink at the top, i need the wig to get as light as possible, as i can get it. Okay guys so yeah, i'm just pretty much going to continue to repeat this process. Um, so i'm just going to, let you guys see me, do it and then i'll be back when i get ready to color it do to my foreign. Do boom uh, so do so me. So do do okay guys. So this was pretty much like the last time. I did it um it got as light as i needed it to be um, which was more like a grayish color. It still had like a tiny bit of purple, but it wasn't gon na be a problem um. It was light enough to take the colors that i needed to take um. So what you see me doing now is i'm just rinsing out some of this soap, because you do not want your wig to be soapy when you get ready to color it. You want to get all of the soap out um, so what i'm using is the tenacious in the color. I think like a hot, pink or something - and i got three bottles of that - and then i'm also using the tenacious in the jet black - and i got three bottles of that. I use most of the black, but i only use one bottle of the pink um because i was only doing a root, so i didn't really need that much much but yeah, i'm just going to continue to rinse um this soap out now getting the soap out Of here will take a minute. It took me like 15 minutes just to get the soap out, but this video is fast forwarded, so yeah and then i went ahead and detangled the wig up a little bit because it was a little dry from like all of the baking soda in the shampoo Kind of dried, the wig out a little bit, so i just wanted to make sure i detangled all of the little matte and stuff because it did kind of matte up just a little bit but um the brush. You know it worked right through it, so it wasn't that bad, but you do want to go ahead and detangle this if you have to do this process, but if you got like a 613 wig and it's no color in it, you can just tint the wig And then start your color, you don't have to do all this, but because i was taking a purple, wig and change it to you know the color. That'S why i did that. But you want to take some hot water just fill the sink up, and then you want to put your jet black color in there uh. I don't like the waste products. Why do you put a little bit of water in there put the top on there, shake it up a little bit and then um poured the excess color in to the sink, and then when i got ready to dip the wig i just fold the wig over, Like in half - and i dipped it because i really didn't want to get the roots now, because i started with the black instead of starting with the pink, it took me a long longer time, but i suggest you guys start with the pink. Do the entire wig pink and then go to the ends um and do the black? So pretty much you know: do the hot water uh method, using the pink color, just dip the whole wig and then come back? Do the hot water um to dip the like? The way i'm doing this now and just dip the black i promise you you'll be done fast, but because i decided to do it the long way it took me a lot longer. So that's the way i suggest, but if you're gon na do it the way? I'M doing it it's fine! It'S just gon na. Take you just a little bit longer um when i was dipping no hair into the jab black. I was looking at like. Why is it coming out blue and the color was giving me very much like navy blue for some reason i was not feeling it at all, i'm like. Why is it blue, so i decided to mix the color up just a little bit more, i'm like. Maybe i didn't mix the color enough and then i re-dipped it again, but baby the wig was still blue. I was just like why, like i did not buy blue, i bought jet black, so um. I end up hopping out of the hot water challenge and i end up just you know, putting the wig on my mannequin head and then going in and just applying the color straight to the wig instead of doing the water challenge, because it was not getting dark Enough, it was looking very blue and i was not feeling that guys. I was not feeling it at all. So, as you guys can see, look, it looks blue and that's not the color we're going for so um yeah. I even tried to dip it again, guys the whole to hope and pray that it would get darker, but it just would not do what i needed it to do so. Yeah. We had to put this boy on a mannequin here so that i got it on the mannequin head. I just section it off and i started with the back and i just applied the color directly to the unit um. Also, the reason i don't want to try to do it. This way is because when i was doing it um, i was getting a lot of like straight line pieces, which is like blood line pieces, and i promise you that's ugly as heck. So that's the only thing i don't like about the way that i did it um. So if you want to avoid that, i suggest you do the high water, um method and just dip yo and just turn your whole way pink and then go back and do the black hot water. The way that i showed you guys how to do it just fold the wig over and dip it in um it'll, give you a lot more um dimension when it comes to the color and where the color is, and you want to have so many like blunt Lines like i had um, i thought i did a pretty good job of like blending the lines out, but it still was in there and i was not feeling it um. So what you see me doing now is i'm pretty much just applying the color like and leaving roots, but you're going to see me go back in, and i decided at the last minute that i didn't want pink roots throughout the entire week. I just wanted the pink roots um throughout the front and just a little bit like a few tracks in the back um just so when it lays down. In the back. I have some type of pink but yeah. I just went back and um dyed the entire back um all the way black from root down, and i just left like three or four tracks, with the roots where i can do pink in the back, but you guys will see me do that uh once i Finish doing the black um yeah and i end up going through the front and pretty much doing the same technique. But i did make sure that i left enough roots in the front so that i can do the peak. But you will see me go back in and touch up the back in a little bit do so so so this do mmm do so, okay guys. So this is pretty much when i had a change of heart and decided to yeah color, most of the back black um. As you guys can see. The little piece that i'm holding is the part that i'm not going um to be going all the way up. With the black, but right here is when i decided to bring the black all the way up to pretty much to the track, so i'm just going in and applying the color and then i just use my hand to work it in and um yeah. I just did that to the whole entire back part that i'm applying the color to, because i feel like this would be so much easier than having to go back through the entire wig and do the pink roots. I was just pretty much being lazy, but it's up to you. If you want pink ropes in the back, do you have the dizzle buff of me? I was being real lazy because i'm like girl. This is taking way longer than it's supposed to be taking because, like i said, i took the long way, instead of doing it, the way that i should have done it, and i really really suggest you guys color your wig pink and then do the black, and I promise you, i promise you it will go by so fast, but to me wanting to be hard-headed, did it the long way now, as you guys, can see that little piece on the side that i didn't turn black, i'm going to color that pink and the Reason why is because i needed a little contrast on the sides, so i can have like some type of transition, like you see how that top part is blonde in the back, that's going to be pink as well, and the size is going to be pink in The back just so i can have some type of transition from the front to the back. If that makes sense, i don't want all the back to be black and then just have pink in front. I think that's going to look really really, but it's up to you, you guys can have fun. Do it, however, you want if you want to have pink rules throughout the whole week. That is your choice but boo-boo. I was being lazy and nobody got time for that, so yeah, but um, okay, guys so to get ready to do the pink roots. I went ahead and put my pink in a um color bow and i use a coloring brush just because i didn't want to um get pink on the lace, and i wanted to do this just a little bit neater. Then i applied the back because guys you do not want to have a pink lace. Baby, it's not gon na, be it's not gon na be hot okay. So i really suggest you guys take your time when you want to do your roots um. Even if you was gon na water dye, this be careful how you put the color around your lace, because if you dip your lace in that pink, i promise you. Your lace is gon na be pink and you're gon na look a hot mess. Okay, it's gon na be a hot mess. It'S not gon na blend into your skin good at war. So take your time when doing your roost booboo. Okay. Thank me later. Thank me later. Thank me later, okay, because ain't, nothing cute about a pink scallop. Okay, ain't! Nothing cute about a pink sky. So take your time when you apply this and as you guys can see, i did thin sections because i did not want to get this when my lace did. I did get a little bit on my lace, but it wasn't bad and it was easy to fix, but if your whole lace is pink baby, i don't know what to tell you because uh i don't know how to fix that. Okay, so just take your time: um, it's okay, to make a little bit of mistakes, but you just don't want to have a pink lace. Okay, do you so okay? This is why i left a little bit of the roots in the back um blonde, because i wanted to add um pink to it, so i can have some type of transition going towards the back with the pink like i said, i didn't want to do. Um, all of the roots in the back pink, but i did want a little bit so when it's laying down it, looks like it's going into the back. If that makes sense, so you want to just leave a little bit of blob here or more pink roots in the back, if you're going to do most of the back um black, but if you want pink rules throughout the whole bag, that's fine too! It'S gon na look just as cute. It'S really just up to you. I was being lazy and i just didn't feel like doing it to the whole head. Okay, but that was just up to me: okay, guys so yeah. This was the end result. So once i got the color of my hair, i did went ahead and rinsed all of the color out and i did conditioning hair like i said the hair was pretty dry, so i made sure that i gave this wig a very, very good conditioning, and this Is why it's so soft now um? I did went ahead and cut this wig, of course, because it's shorter, but i am going to do another video, a part two showing you guys how i styled it and everything like that, so um, just stay tuned is coming soon. Um yeah - and i hope you guys really did enjoy this video don't forget to like and subscribe and i'll see you guys later.
