Hey guys welcome back to my channel and welcome to my channel if you are new, i'm chandler. What'S up hey girl, hey so, as you can tell by the title, today's video is going to be a revamp of my 6 13 long wig that i wore. Maybe two or three videos ago um: i was gon na just reinstall it today, but honestly it was just very boring. So i wanted to try something new. I saw a picture on pinterest and it inspired me for this beautiful color. It'S not exactly the same, but it is as close as it's going to get. I hope you guys really enjoyed this video. I feel like this color was super easy to achieve, and i feel like it's. The perfect color like to end summer, going into fall everything that i didn't use for this look will be in the description box down below. So please don't forget to check that out if you're interested in what i use to achieve this color like i said, i hope you guys really enjoyed this video. If you do, please don't forget to give it a big thumbs up. Also, leave me some comments down below and don't forget to subscribe and please subscribe so that i know that you guys enjoy seeing me on your timeline. So yes, without further ado, we're just gon na hop right into the video and again i hope you enjoyed it all right. So this is the wig that i'm going to be transforming, as you can tell. It is very dry, very dusty, very crusty and today we're going to turn it into something very much beautiful. Okay. So i like to start off with the wig on my head. Just because i want to make sure that the placement is correct and i'm going to go ahead by sectioning off two patches in the front, just to make sure that they are equal and they are. Where i want them to fall and they are thick, how i want them to be now, i'm just going to twist those up honestly because they are too small for a rubber band to section them off. So i'm just going to twist them up and put them to the side. So now that we have that section off we're also going to go in and um do another section which is going to be ideally the same thing just on the side. I want to be able to see the highlights, no matter where i part the hair, whether i'm wearing a side part or a middle part, so i'm just going to do that to the sides. Okay, now once we have that everything else is going to be dyed the same, so i don't have to section that off and here you have it - you have the two in the front and then the two on the side and then everything in the back. I know this sounds weird and it looks well as well, but you'll see how it all comes together once we start down the hair, so let's get our color and move on to the dye. As far as the dye is concerned, i decided to opt for the watercolor method, i'm starting off with hot water and at first i used maybe half of the color container, but once i started dipping the hair, i realized that it just wasn't enough, so i think Ultimately, i ended up using about three of the honey brown temptation colors just to achieve this color um, i feel like if i had a new wig or a different wig, i wouldn't have used as much color, but this wig was super thick and i was having A hard time trying to get the color to um, you know get on the inside of the wig but yeah here i am just doing the test strand of some extra blonde hair that i had laying around, and i wanted to just make sure that this brown Was the correct brown before i committed to it? So i'm just going to let you guys enjoy again if you are doing this at home, just keep adding color until you get um until you get to the desired color that you want and make sure that you're mixing the color and the water. Well, because you don't want dark spots and light spots over your wigs, i forgot to mention that when you're dipping, the hair make sure you are holding the parts that we did section off, because that's how you're going to achieve the highlights you can get it on The roots so that that part blends, but as far as the tips and the ends, make sure that you are keeping that free of the died. So this is basically what we're working with this very rich brown, copper, color um. This is the hair about 90 dry. I'M just going in with my blow dryer just to make sure everything else is dry um, the underneath of the wig wasn't as dry. So that's why it's giving me a hard time to put the blow dryer through, but, yes, guys check out this color. I am so in love with how it came out. All i did was use the honey brown in the temptations color about three of those and some hot water and boom. I had this color in less than five minutes. Okay, now i did attempt to film me cutting this wig, but honestly, the angle i had it at and the way i was cutting it. It just didn't work out, but all i did was cut it into like a blob. What is it a lob? I cut it into a lob straight across very blunt, and then i went in and added layers i added so many layers. Y'All like i went back to my cosmetology days at paul mitchell and i went in with the layers. So if y'all want to see a video on how i layer and how you layer the correct way to make sure that you have layers in every part of your hair, make sure you leave me a comment down below. So i can do that video for you guys, but yes, um. I'M sorry that this cutting like video, wasn't that good. But if you want more in-depth video, let me know i put some ice on you guys. Okay, we have made it to the final part of this video, which is the install you guys and if you have made it this far into the video, make sure that you guys leave me a big thumbs up, and i just want to say thank you. So much for rocking with me, i'm just going to go ahead and install this unit, i'm starting off by cleaning my forehead with some alcohol on a cotton pad and then spraying with erica j um skin protect. I am doing the ball cap method because, although i won't be using glue for this wig, i do have another wig that i did install after this one that i did use glue and i was like why not kill two birds with one stone. So i'm just going in with a ball cap. Okay, i'm pretty sure you guys have seen this all over youtube. So at this point i'm pretty sure you may know how to install the ball cap. If not just mute me talking and pay attention to what i'm doing uh, i do want to note that, instead of free spray on my cap, i like to use the erica j hold me down glue, just because it gives me a longer hold on my ball Cap method and it helps blend in with my skin much more than the freeze painting and i like to use my blow dryer on cool until it is completely dry. You know when it's dry, whenever the line that you need is completely cleared and that's whenever it's time to cut your cape, you know i know anti, oh, is try. I put some ice on you cause you got it is, you know all right. So after i've gone in and laid my wig down, i like to go in and tie it down just so i can give me a real good melt. Usually i go in with an elastic band, but this all i can find so while that's setting i'm just going to go in and do my face and be right back now, y'all. This is a look okay. When i remove this scarf, do not be surprised, don't be surprised at how melted it is. Yes, if it's one thing that i did it's that okay, i did that this wig was melted to a tea okay and we went from a dirty blind color at the beginning to this beautiful honey brown with a few peekaboos - and i am in love y'all, i Am really in love, and i just want to say thank you guys for watching this video all the way through if you made it this far, don't forget to like it, don't forget to subscribe and hit that bell button in the bottom and i'm gon na see Y'All in my next
